Lawrence entered alongside namine. He immediately noticed Eric's ship, Leah. At least he didn't leave. he thought. A wind blew in from the hangar doors and he saw Eric, one arm against the side and his back arched.
Eric didn't look back. He just stood there watching the outside world. "I wonder what heaven is like? A world beyond this one in paradise. Is it really as I imagined it near death?" he cackled. "a scrap of sand with one tree? Ha! Heaven is hell for me" he said.
Lawrence had hid himself behind Leah and watched Eric.

Eric was laughing and sobbing at the same time. Tears streamed down his face and he pounded the side wall. While doing this, Lawrence slowly walked up from behind Leah. Eric's head turned quickly to him, a demented smile on his face. "I knew you had arrived Lawrence."
Lawrence tried to remain calm. "Eric, it's alright. Namine doesn't hold it against you. Come back to reality."
"you lying scoundrel! You and I both know why you're here. You want to Take her from me and cast me off. Nobody wants this useless husk of a man." he laughed crazily again. Lawrence was frozen to the spot. The wind began howling from off the world.

Eric laughed. "empty words from an angry shrew. You hate me for what I've put you through. The fights, the injuries, the hostage situations, all hell that I brought to you." he began weeping hysterically. "you chose me, why? Lawrence was the genius and a medic. I'm just some brute with a history book. I'm not worthy of this life, I shall.." Eric grabbed his head and screamed. He was left panting heavily. His voice became deeper and he looked toward namine. "hello nami. It seems we meet again. Face to face instead of mind to mind. O sweet, innocent little Nami. Why don't you come out and play?" Eric laughed.

Eric noticed namine crying and laughed. "you know you want to hurt me. Give me hell for all I've done. What happened to that brave hearted girl we all loved? The one who tried to kill me for hurting lawrence geffaltmir? She's now cowering behind him." he drew his blade. "come Lawrence, come namine, unleash your full wrath upon me. Give me repentance for all my sins!" he shouted. Lawrence drew guardian soul.
"Stay back namine, we can no longer reason with him. We have to..." Eric swung wildly at him and he blocked. "Get back to the dorm and grab the bottle your mother gave him! It's on a shelf in a pill bottle. Above a picture." Lawrence bounced the attack back. "Run now!" he said. Eric was laughing crazily and hacking like a madman.

Lawrence sighed in relief. "Now Eric, let's just put the key down and talk this over. We don't need to..." Lawrence was attacked before he finished. He spun to avoid it. Eric laughed.
"I'm beyond saving now. I may as well be dead. When you shatter your own world you become both god and the devil to yourself. The devil must be slain." he said charging Lawrence. Lawrence blocked and Eric smiled insanely. They struggled and crossed each others blades.

Lawrence was deadlocked with Eric. He could barely hold him back.
"just like our first time meeting huh Lawrence?" Eric said.
Lawrence remained silent and put a hand out to catch the pill bottle.

Eric caught the bottle before Lawrence could catch it.
"you really think these will stop me?" he laughed and took a pill. He writhed in pain. "what? These are not what were in it before! You little!" he lashed out. Lawrence blocked it. Military grade anesthetic. One pill knocks a man out for 8 hours. I may take 3 for our current situation he thought. Eric threw the bottle back at Lawrence. "just try and stop me." he said as he threw his blade after the bottle. Lawrence caught the blade and dashed at Eric. He hit him on the side of the head with his sword. "I didn't want to do that Eric. Just stay down!" Lawrence said. Eric staggered to his feet and laughed. Lawrence lobbed another pill into his mouth. Eric writhed again and tackled Lawrence. He started punching him in the face.

A huge wall of fire appeared between the two fighting groups. A woman came through the doorway, rubbing her temple as if she had a headache. "My first week back and apparently there's a kink in the school's fail safe." She approached the three rapscallions and lowered the firewall. "Do we have a problem here?" She had stopped rubbing her temple and adjusted her glasses.
