Soare went quiet and blinked, trying to read her expression and the feelings behind her nod. Every motion and facial expression people showed always had a meaning, you just had to learn to read it. That's what his father had always told him but he wasn't very good at doing so. "You don't like it there." He said as if to assure that's what she was saying then he added, "I'm sure there are more places to work in the village than you are thinking of. Every building that stands needs someone to watch over it." he said, looking down at his hands which were folded in front of him. He had his elbows resting on his knees. He wasn't hungry and hadn't bought any food, he was only here to listen to the voices around him and do as his mother said, learn how to make friends. She couldn't say he wasn't trying.

EDIT - He glanced away from who he was speaking with at the sound of his own name being used by a boy, he quickly realized he must have been talking about himself and became very curious, the girl across from him was tearing up and he didn't seem to know what to do about it.

Felix stopped in front of the cafeteria door. He finished smoking his cigarette and put it out in the ashtray thing that was put there by Euphemia--reluctantly, of course. He opened the door and walked in, waving just slightly to Yvonne to show he acknowledged her; as for everyone else, he ignored. He went over to the bar and got a baked potato, putting cheese and bacon bits on it before going over to an empty table--away from everyone, and sat down, poking at the potato in a bored manner. Why couldn't I have police training today? School doesn't start for another few days. I need something to do in order to pass the time. Glancing around, he saw the others sitting around and chatting happily. Well, except for the teacher man, who sat a bit away from everyone.

Yvonne smiled and waved to Felix happily as he waved to her. Though Felix appeared to be and acted like a guy who really didn't want to acknowledge others, he was a kind person. Of course, Yvonne only really experienced his kindness at work, which was one of the perks of working at Yamato's. She then looked at Soare as he asked if she knew her way around the school, giggling a bit at the way he pointed to the floor. It kind of reminded her of the hippy stage one of her friends back home went through. "Yeah. I know my way around pretty well. Still can't find the way to my dorm, though. I can find everyone else's, but not mine...." She blushed at the confession, but smiled contently.

Soare couldn't help but laugh at her confession, he wasn't meaning to tease her of be mean. His laugh was one that was practically musical in and of itself, the kind of laugh that cheered people up and soothed them. "I find it more of an accomplishment that you can find your way out of it in that case." he admitted. if he couldn't find his own dorm, he probably would never leave it. He was so worried about getting lost that he didn't normally take too many adventures to places he didn't know unless he was certain he could find his way back.

She smiled comfortably at his laugh. His voice and his laugh were...different. They were gorgeous. How did he manage to make his voice and laugh so...artistic? She wanted to ask, but felt it was a personal question. And, they weren't exactly on a "lets ask personal questions" basis. Content with her surrounding at the moment, she started to flick her fingers, creating small sparks of light energy that gave off a bright light that wasn't at all harmful to the eyes. "Hey, Rival, do you think your mom will let me use her phone so I can call my dad and tell him how things are going here?"
