I always read the announcements. I'm so busy that when I get a moment to visit the guild, I like to know what's going on without searching through a whole bunch of threads. 3nodding

I took a fairly large break from gaia a short while ago and have only just really come back to it. I don't think I'll be able to put the time and effort into being an active member unfortunately so I wouldn't mind being removed in place of others who are able to contribute to you and enhance the guild.

ya i don't really know how to do things on guilds and how to win prizes and stuff i never learned how so i'll need help with that and if i know how to do that i will probably be on here all the time 3nodding

David2074 Orphie, Yup! I read the announcement. smile I don't post here much but I'm quite willing to make a donation to the guild or a mule to cover the cost of sending announcements to me. I'd like to offer another train of though about lack of posting because I know in my case it is not intended as a 'slap in the face' towards your efforts. I belong to more guilds than I have time to be deeply active in. When I am invited to join a guild, IF I join I make it clear to the guild owner that due to dial up internet, real life and other concerns I will probably not be posting very often. This is particularly true of booty grab guilds where I am often invited because the owner wants to include my tanks in his/her BG threads. It costs less than 1 gold per member per announcement so 365 gold would cover the cost of sending me announcements every day for a year. I recognize lots of members make the cost of each announcement go up so I'm more than willing to donate more than my share to any guild owner that asks. I also usually donate if the guild is just putting out a general plea for funds. I usually do not participate in contests in the guilds I belong to except for the token entries to support the contest. The reason being I have lots of gold and would rather see other people win. I kind of feel 'guilty' when I win anything. My own guild has roughly 960 members and very little posting by anyone. That's okay because the main purpose of that guild is to forward BG invites and general BG / tank information. I don't run the contests and stuff you do. Anyway, my point is I know I can't do a lot in many of the guilds I am in but my intent is to have at least a slightly positive overall affect on the guild (some posts, some donations) rather than being a drain on the guild. So yeah - if you want some monies for posts tell me who to donate it to. smile Oh hey David. It's nice to see you again. Actually everyone in this thread. Some of you, I've never met before. My point in this isn't to get anyone to pay for an Announcement as I don't mind doing so. And the Guild has lots to cover the costs, that isn't the problem. The problem, is the lack of activity by members, not so much people who have posted once or twice, or even three times, but going through that list of members, I've come across quiet a lot with zero posts, so I'm wanting to know and give them a chance to let me know if they wish to still be members, or should I delete them. As there isn't a point in keeping them here if they're not going to become active. In saying this, there's a lot of members who joined years ago, before I even purchased this guild. They are the ones, that I'm working on and hoping they'd reply back to me. Oh,yeah, if it wasn't even the same guild I can definitely see that. I've purchased two used guilds but both had their members cleaned out when I bought them. Except one had three or four users I know.
