Yukari Clepsydra Oh yeah and this goes with the Power Abuse thing, but editing others posts to make them insult themselves is ******** stupid, it was childish in 2008 and still is. If you need to edit a post at least say something like Post edited by: Your name here and explain why. In my cases I fix typos, add punctuation marks or little notes. I don't change them to insults. Yup, I know that. and the 2 main culprits know who they are, so I really don't need to name them unless they truly have no clue!

Kinda ironic how bullshit started in the thread that was meant to stop it.
But for some reason, I think Angel made a very good point and the message I get from his tip is one that should not be only applied to Justin, but to everyone else in front of a futile and irrelevant problem: let it go. It solves nothing to drag that whole weight on your shoulders only to drop it on someone when he's down. Nothing.
As for discussions turning into arguing session like this one had, I think the fact someone disagrees with someone's opinion or methodology shouldn't be an opportunity to run the person down, but to have a discussion about that and exchange the different points from different positions. But unfortunately, bashing is, somehow, the preselected way of treating a problem. And we proved it one time too many that it only creates even more problems. So why is there still bashing for bashing when the personal issues can be solved in private? I personally don't know.
And another point I'd like to bring is that being defensive is not a good way of acting on front of certain situations. It clearly shows how closed minded you are in certain positions, or at least it could lead to people thinking that you are. I'll take a recent example that happened on Skype a few days ago. We were talking about pushes and how some people will go faster for others. We determined that it could be normal since they know them more and feel more like they can trust them in certain situations. When I brought out a certain person's name and who seemed to be, from my point of view, the person for who his pushes were more evident, that person went defensive and gave the whole rant about how he pushes everyone equally. That instead of taking the observation and be aware of that to see if, yes or no, the thought was founded. That's the kind of scenario that makes me, and every other person reading that, wonder if that person can handle critique and not just march at the rhythm of his own drums. I did not say names on purpose, because I want this to be an example of my point about going defensive, not to drag the discussion into this topic.
So this was my 2 cents on what I think is the way to react in certain situations. I can already foresee the hypocrisy calls on that as I have been involved in my part of bullshit in the last couple years. But I think this proves that in the end, I learned from that and everybody should.

It's not being defensive, it's stating fact. If I played favorites, I wouldn't have pushed you, Roxxie, and a slew of others that I regretted pushing. /just sayin

Not to bring the conversation here. I could have picked many other examples from the past but I went for this one because it was recent. Too bad you were the one involved in it.

Weird Fox Yukari Clepsydra Justin Amaze Yukari Clepsydra It's not being defensive, it's stating fact Oh right, that thing you call being butthurt? Hypocritical b***h. and Justin finds his CtC empty when he goes to cash it in. For his own good, he needs to stay banned. Okay, really Fox. Stop. Justin's getting better, you need to relax. Keeping him kicked out is stirring more bullshit than it's solving. Really guys, learn to ******** get along. That goes for everyone. Sure, we might not all like eachother, but we need to learn to tolerate. Just ignoring someone or hating them constantly is going to cause bullshit, which we need to try to stop. Find some damn common ground, learn how to deal with problems respectfully, and start getting along. If we keep stirring new bullshit every few days, this community is going to die. We're scaring off rookies and some vets and we're causing people to refuse to work with eachother over stupid s**t. If you enjoy doing this, look back to the old days, and learn from it like I have: learn to hear someone out without flipping your s**t, work out your problems respectfully, and simply get along. Or this place is going to die faster than the token black guy in a horror film.

See, THIS is what I'm talking about. What's going on right now in this thread.
This s**t has to stop FROM EVERYONE.
Don't give me that "Well you're a n00b" crap; I'd rather be a n00b here than be a veteran with this kind of history behind it. Do you see how terrible that sounds if a n00b in the community would rather choose to STAY one?
Seriously; I've never met a more dramatic group than a bunch of high school girls on their periods simultaneously. Put on your big girl panties and work it out with each other, and if you can't...well then I feel sorry for you.
