A quick glance over to Mihira showed that there hadn't been any improvement on the situation with Regulus. The poor girl was trying so hard to help out, but her luck wasn't doing her just that. He felt sorry for her, and was glad that he was here to help her.
He then turned his attention back to Alex, who had just finished telling him that formalities weren't his thing, though if he felt like calling him sir or captain that he wouldn't be stopped. It was his rank after all, and he was his superior officer in a different department. He then moved back to taking over the position that Mihira and Zeiss had been covering, which was recruiting new people.
Kneeling back down by Mihira, the man Regulus had gotten himself back up, and...seemed to be hitting on Mihira. While it was not his business to say anything about those comments, he merely shook his head, and just went back to his usual, serious look. Now wasn't the time to be relaxing, though he couldn't help feeling something from the comments Regulus said.
I apologize for my rude behavior. I have not introduced myself to you. I am Regulus. What might be your name my beautiful flower? Although Mihira could have spoken for herself, Zeiss went ahead and said flat out, "Her name is Mihira. But since it seems you are conscious now, then will you decide to join the guard? We are in need of some new members, and someone of your stature would surely help us out. If you are interested, fill out the form on the table."
He then stood up, and went back behind the booth. There were already a couple people who had signed up for the guard. He had been right before. All they had to do was be patient.

Saifer Griimro Saifer visibly grimaced at hearing that comment about the lockpicks. This precious coat of his admittedly did make him look like a person of dishonorable practices (which would not be incorrect), but he couldn't bear to part with it even if someone offered him an alternative.
Surprisingly, though, all he did was offer a simple nod and a mumbled "thank you" as he took the quill. He knew his swordsmanship skills were hardly noteworthy, but he did have his secret weapon - a Light Brand - with him whenever things got really dicey. Since he knew it was an object of some value (at least in Elibe), he didn't like showing it off to anyone if he could help it. Luckily, all that was required of him now was to just fill in some information about himself.
It had been a long time since he had to spell out his name on paper. In fact, it had been a long time since he'd wrote anything. He usually never had to, really. Saifer usually just read whenever the situation presented itself, and at that merely signs or labels that he passes on the street. Still, he could write well enough that he could pass for someone with basic educaiton. As he did write, though, he stopped a bit on his last name and just sort of stared at it. It was an odd name, really, but fitting for the Black Fang his father was. Hell, it was probably a fabrication, now that he thought about it. Shrugging, he finished writing it out anyway - the thought of whether or not it was his family's real name hardly mattered now.
"S-so...where do I go? What do I do now?" he asked, having finished up his form. Saifer felt oddly eager to find out if there was a benefits package - that is, if he'd get a room and pay. If not, he could easily skip out of Eyris.

Blaise turned in the form and was felling rather hunger. She reached down into her pocket for a pouch with the little money she had and was shocked to find nothing. "...I am going to starve..." She sighed and saw a shady looking thief with full pockets with part of her pouch sticking out at the recruitment table asking where to go from there. She walked over to him fueled buy hunger and grabbed Saifer's arm. "How about we go to the pub for a meal... your treat." Blaise poked his fat pocket to letting him know she was on to him as she whispered harshly to him. She looked roughly five years older than him yet her eyes where much older.

Saifer Griimro Strangely enough, it was not Leon who was the next person to interact with him, but a girl near the table whom he had hardly even known existed. "W-wait...!" he stammered, surprised at the girl's touching him so suddenly. Suffice it to say that he wasn't used to girls coming onto him like this...but what she said next was a bit contrary to that assumption.
Oh s**t, was she robbing him? It sounded as if she was 'requesting' money so that she could get a little treat for herself. Saifer visibly panicked at the thought of getting mugged and thought to either pull out his weapon or call for help. There were plenty of people that could help him out here - hell, he was almost certain that the blonde boob lady would be more than happy for an excuse to run someone through with that spear strapped on her back.
Right, if he was being mugged, then the best option would probably be to ask for help, right? Or should he simply pull out his katana and slice at her? Or...or...oh hell, he'd try reasoning first! "M'am, umm...can you, uhh, leave me alone please? I haven't...got any money for you," he said, trying to keep his voice low so that no one else would hear. He didn't want any trouble until he was absolutely sure there would be some.

The myrmidon's stomach painfully growled loudly causing her to flinch from not eating for some time. She realized he was timid and tried to be nicer to him. "...Kid... please give me my pouch back... I have been rationing that money for weeks..." Blaise whispered as she had a disappointing look on her face. "...The main reason why I am going to join this army is so I don't have to worry about my next meal for a little while... We are going to be allies anyway... right?..." Blaise whispered and began to feel dizzy from hunger.

Saifer Griimro Saifer was now very confused. He hadn't swiped anything from anyone in Eyris...ever. Sure, he'd thought about it, but this was only his second time in Eyris and his first time had been mostly trying to stay alive rather than trying to get eating money. That's when he realized that she was probably hussling him - claiming it was her pouch when it was really his.
Wait...was she trying to frame him in front of all these people? He'd joined the city watch merely because food and lodging sounded good to him...and while she claimed that she was in it for the same reasons, she also seemed to be attempting to swinde him out of his dishonestly-earned collection of coins. "It's...it's my pouch, m'am..." he mumbled, now trying to lightly shake her off of him by moving the shoulder she had gripped. At first, he thought the lady was flirting with him or something. Now, however, he was scared she would turn this into a fight if he didn't comply with her demands for cash.
Saifer began to move his other hand inside his coat and felt out the handle of his sword. The motion of his hand was quick and fluid - a similar motion to when he was picking pockets. Most people didn't even notice he had done anything besides walking past the majority of the time. He was only doing this for some added security. If she was going to shake him down for cash, he at least wanted to feel like he had a chance to resist. There was still the fact that they were in a very public place at the moment, though. He could ask for help, but then this would be an 'incident'...and he really wanted to avoid that.

The myrmidon's grip on the thief's arm wasn't at all strong enough to cause pain, but just enough to not let him get away. She saw that Saifer was reaching for something other than the pouch. "...I don't want to fight you lad... I would have harmed you earlier if I really wanted too..." Blaise said softly as she guessing he had his hand on the hilt of something. She left her blade's hilt alone to reinforce her words, after all she just wanted to eat something. She sighed and whispered, "...If the pouch is really yours... why does it have my initials stitched onto it?... Just give it back so I can eat... your killing me..."

Jack had all signed up he had supposed and was now a member of the watch. The friendly fellow named Leon seemed to want to have a practice match sometime in the near future and Jack grinned back at him. "I'd like that, though I'm fairly certain you'd win Leon." He laughed, sliding the form across to the watchman.
Oh it seemed that the blonde woman was going on break, what luck! He jogged after her, catching up with her easily and fell into step beside her, a nearly un-noticeable limp of his own matching hers. "If you don't mind I'd like to come with you, as much as you say you're fine you don't look it." He'd known her for five minutes and already he could tell she was going to deny it, so he raised his finger to stop her. "I'm coming along mainly because I'm thirsty, and I want to know who I'm working with better, so you'd be doing me a favour."

Amelia looked startled to see one of their signers suddenly accompany her on her break. She brushed her hair off of her face and tried to keep the surprise off of her expression. "Ah..." she watched him with wide eyes, starting to edge away from him. "Sir, I really think--"
"I'm coming along mainly because I'm thirsty, and I want to know who I'm working with better, so you'd be doing me a favour."
The General held her breath for a moment, eyes still focused on Jack, and then sighed. "All right. Come along." The little Crew member rubbed a hand against her uninjured side and straightened up a little more. "There's a little restaurant a few blocks away that serves some good lemonade. We can sit there for a bit and then come back with a glass for Leon."

Saifer Griimro Saifer was now certain that there was no peaceful resolution to this little exchange. He was getting robbed in broad daylight in front of a bunch of people - never mind that the money had been stolen previously from other people in different places, for all intents and purposes it was still his money.
There were absolutely no initials on the pouch. It had been his 'wallet' since he'd been a street rat in Elibe, and all it was was a simple leather carrying device for his (or anyone else's) cash. To be honest, he was beginning to get angry at the woman who was making up all these nonsense lies. She had him pegged as a thief all right, but she was completely clueless in every other aspect. Regardless, her grip was something he couldn't shake out of unless he made a quick movement that would likely be considered aggressive. Hell if he was going to get knifed or something by a random mugger, though! Saifer then began considering his options. He certainly wasn't going to give anyone anything if he didn't have to, so he could either slice her with his blade and put some distance between them or simply shout for help. Seeing where he was, he figured the latter was likely the better option.
And so, with a raspy voice, Saifer spoe out moderately loud - just enough for the people around him to hear. The people at the table would definetly hear him, at the least. "Ah...this girl is...I think she's robbing me!" he somewhat exclaimed, trying to wriggle free again. It was true, actually - she was robbing him. He had never taken anything from anyone in Eyris - he had in other places certainly, but no one here could prove that.
[You do know he didn't take anything from anyone here, right?]

 Regulus
When Zeiss spoke Regulus turned his head to the side to look at him. "Thank you sir for her name. Yes I would like to join the guard if it will get me a steady job and somewhere to live." He then smiled back at Mihira, "My sincerest apologies again beautiful flower, now I must sign up and find my horse." With that he stood up and walked over to the booth and wrote down his name. He looked up after signing, "Well good sir, it seems the guard now has use of me." He whistled with two fingers in his mouth Regulus whistled and the horse walked over to him. Once the horse reached him, Regulus grabbed the saddle and climbed upon the saddle using one foot. He looked down at Zeiss from the saddle, "Good sir where should I report to?"

"That has to be my..." Blaise stopped mid-sentence and became stupefied as she came to realize that it looked much like her pouch, but it really wasn't hers. She put her hand in her pocket and found a hole that she didn't fell before. Her face became flustered with embarrassment and her timidness emerged. "...I'm... I am sorry..." Blaise stepped backwards and saw that he was calling for help. "...Honest mistake!" Blaise looked at the people staring at her and felt like they were looking at the brand on her face. The myrmidon put a hand over her cheek as she backed up feeling a wave of dread rolling over her.

Ignis Draconis sum. Thema fabulae, thema apologi.c** igne sacrō, Flametongue, (prō amicīs pugnō) prō pace volō. Miliibus annīs supervivē, cicatricēs temporis possideō. Mirate corpus meum, pinnās meās, ignem meum! Fire Dragon “No need for concern, nephew. I can assure you I’ll be fine. And yes, it seems it’ll be a big family affair,” FD answered his nephew, Roy, amused by the prospect of working with even more family. And as far as his health went, the dragon certainly wasn’t doing anything to its detriment. He could probably transform and Flametongue s**t if need be since that didn’t require using the parts of his body that were injured, even. Not that there was any need or reason to do so, of course.
Roy’s interest in joining his uncles as Hosts was mirrored by both Magvelian kings. Which mean all three of them were interested, even if with varying degrees of enthusiasm, going off of their responses! Excellent. “I’m glad that you’re all interested. If you guys just fill out these forms,” FD explained, pointing out the very forms upon the booth’s table he was speaking of, “we will get back to you within a week most likely and you all should ideally be hired by then! FD didn’t see why they wouldn’t be, but he couldn’t say they would be hired by then with authority nonetheless. Maybe it would take more than a week or something. It would be a matter of getting the paperwork through the system in a timely matter, and he couldn’t make promises about that. But chances were there wouldn’t be a Host Club sponsored event in that time anyway. “Let either Sue or myself know if you have any questions with the paperwork.”
The dragon saw Amelia amble by with a man she didn’t recognize at this point. She had been seriously injured from the attack on Eyris as well. In plenty more ways than FD had been, too, (non-physically speaking). Even her walk indicated the state she was in. To strangers, she seemed to be carrying on perfectly fine, but the Fire Dragon knew the small-bodied General’s movements and mannerisms well enough from working with her in the Host Club of all places, to know the manner in which she was carrying herself wasn’t what it normally was. But the dragon wasn’t primarily concerned with her physical injuries – she’d live and recover from those, no doubt – he was worried about her emotional health. She’d lost her family and yet she was out and about, working at this Job Fair on behalf of the Watch. FD wished to see how she was doing. How she was really doing, as a friend both to her and to Rhys… Who better to empathize loss than a dragon of the Scouring? As soon as he got the chance, FD planned to leave the booth to Sue and check on Amelia… after Roy, Josh, and Ephy filled out their paperwork (perhaps sooner).

Its not my fault you’re such a moron
Derrin, Angry Mage Extrodinare Just leave me alone ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The mage trudged through the streets of Eyris, heading for the market. He wasn't pleased today, or any day really. Today was especially grating on his nerves, he'd meant to avoid this ridiculous job fair like it was the plague, the market was bad enough when it wasn't busy imagining it crammed with people as it was sure to be made him feel sick. Unfortunately his cloak had finally torn when Blossom had tripped over it and he couldn't put off buying a new one any longer. The only reason he had waited so long was because he was so used to Jaren sewing any rips for him.
So off to the market then, grumbling all the way. It was bound to be packed full of people all bumping and jostling each other and generally pissing him off. Before he'd made it all the way however a voice called his name causing him to turn around. The little ball of sunshine that was Blossom was coming his way, and threatened to brighten his cloudy skies.
As always this made him sweat. "A-ah Blossom. Hello. What? Job fair, no I'm trying to avoid that actually. My cloak has a tear in it and I suppose I have to buy a new one now, lousy rotten piece of garbage."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please... Magic is my life, my soul, my heart

Something seemed rather odd about Derrin as Blossom approached him. That nervous expression, the sweating... it wasn't that hot, was it? No, it wasn't. She was sleeveless right now, yes, but even with the strong sun, it still wasn't particularly warm today, at least not in Blossom's experience of hot and cold. There had been much more hot, stifling summer days before. The breeze was nice, actually, catching her skirt and rustling it...
Wait, of course! Blossom knew exactly why he looked so uncomfortable. Because of his cloak! Oh, the poor thing, and now Blossom's face fell into one of apology. "Oh, I'm so sorry, that was my fault, wasn't it...?" She hurried over to him and grabbed his arm. "Here, come with me. I'm going to the job fair now, you can come with me and I'll go with you to get you some new clothes." She smiled brightly at this idea; going shopping for necessary things like that was always more fun when you had someone with you to help you with it. "I'll pay for the new cape, too. Since I tore yours. I could mend the cape you have now, too, so you have a spare just in case! C'mon!"
Well, apparently Derrin didn't have a say in the matter (at least, in how Blossom was acting, Derrin still had all the room in the world to b***h at her and pull away), because she was hurrying off after that, holding his hand and leading him off towards the marketplace. "The tailor's shop is just a block away from the marketplace, too! Convenient, huh?" Blossom looked back at Derrin and grinned at him, eyes lit up with excitement.
