As Nyx thought, Shun wasn't up to par on his left side just yet. It was a weak point, proven all the more when her blade managed to penetrate flesh. Taking a step back she readied to attack again, only partially watching Shun flick some blood to the ground.

"Really? I feel that it was aimed pretty well." Nyx growled in an almost animal like way when Shun lashed out at her. She managed to block the shot toward her knee not wanting to take any further damage but the shot to her midsection managed to graze across, slicing her shirt open and leaving a thin cut. Thankfully she had moved back or it would have done some hefty damage.

Not wanting to stand still and give Shun another shot Nyx leaped to the side, bounded off a nearby structure on the roof and back toward Shun slashing at his face and his chest again. For as lazy as she was she was pretty acrobatic.

Mitsu didn't want to cry, but she really couldn't prevent it as the tears rolled down her cheeks. She felt pretty stupid for being in this situation again which made her question the attack that had happened on her and supposedly Nyx before.

Her struggles only came to a halt when she heard the tension on one of the lines holding her begin to strain. Looking up as her vision was starting to clear a little she could vaguely make out where the rope was rubbing against the gargoyle waterspouts making it fray and unravel. Panicked all the more Mitsu tried to figure out what to do, her heart racing as she managed to look down again seeing the cars moving on the street below. This....was the highest she had ever been.

Nyx was about to rebound in for another attack but had just managed to step outside of the range of one of the bubbles of darkness. Narrowing her eyes she took in her new playing field. This trick again, she had seen it at the warehouse. He could apparently move throughout those different bubbles. Only this time she had a plan.

Trying not to idle in one place Nyx darted about the roof crouching down and coming to a sliding stop beside one of the bubbles. Quickly she dropped one of the blades in her hand so that she could touch the ground, a bright flash emanating from that area. It only took seconds for the ground to begin to change, spikes jutting up from the floor heading toward the bubble before spreading throughout it. She didn't have enough time to ensure the entire area was completely covered but it would be enough of a deterrent. If she stayed in one place too long she would invite an attack so quickly she scooped up her blade heading for the next bubble intent on doing the same thing. If she lucked out maybe she would hit her opponent as well.

Rigid with fear Mitsu took in short almost labored breaths. At the rate she was going she would hyperventilate long before she fell to her death. "I-I want down..." But she only said it loud enough so that she could hear. There was no way her voice could travel over to the building where Shun and Nyx apparently were.

Nyx had just enough speed in her step that she missed the throwing blade, though she could feel it fly passed the back of her head. That was close. Sliding to a halt in front of another black bubble, Nyx had just managed to touch the ground when Shun lunged out of the darkness toward her.

Instead of creating the spikes like she had done before the floor followed her hand as she pulling it up and over making a barrier between her and the assassin. Being quick to turn toward the new wall Nyx thrust her hands toward it another flash of light blazing as spikes jutted out on the other side toward the place she had seen Shun last.

Nyx heard the yell and was fairly confident she had landed a blow. About to move she was suddenly stopped in her tracks when she felt a blade pierce her shoulder, a second barely missing her. Her face contorted to anger as she reached for the blade and jerked it free throwing it back in the direction it had come from before darting off to the next shadow. She was going to make sure he had no where to hide.

"You can't win, Shun!" Nyx hissed as she stopped by another bubble of darkness and filled it with spikes, her rage fueling her ability making the spikes pierce through the top of the bubble and out the sides. "I will do anything I can to see you suffer!"

Mitsu had only managed to stay immobile for so long, her fear driving her to struggle wanting desperately to be anywhere but where she was. "Get me down!" As she continued to move the rope that had started to fray continued to rub against the gargoyle until it finally snapped sending Mitsu another couple of feet down in a hurry. Letting out a loud yelp, Mitsu went rigid for a moment wondering if this was really the way she was going to go. Honestly it was better than what she thought, she always expected Suto would be the one to take her life. This way he wouldn't have the pleasure.

"You'll have to beat me first, Smiles and I don't see that happening." Nyx's eyes darted to Shun as he ran across the roof to another bubble. Making chase after the assassin, Nyx lightly hopped over an air duct protruding from the roof, using it to propel herself forward to slash at Shun's back.

She wasn't sure she was close enough and she wasn't willing to follow him into the pitch black. That was his territory. So instead she threw her other khopesh, the blade leaving her hand spinning in a circle aimed for Shun's midsection. When it and Shun disappeared into the darkness she took a giant leap to the side, nimbly landing on the ledge along the roof top.

Nyx looked about as the rooftop started to fill with bubbles of darkness....and it seemed to be following the path of blood he was leaving behind. If that was the case she was going to have to keep moving. As long as he kept bleeding the better chance he had of creating a larger area of disadvantage for her unless he managed to bleed out.

Eyes following the blade Shun tossed she noted it was far to low to make a hit. Either he was losing his aim or he had something in mind. As the blade made contact with stone Nyx barely saw the blood on it before she looked back over the ledge to see what was around her. If her theory was right she would soon be shrouded in darkness and no doubt have Shun right in her face. As a precaution her weapon started to change, a bright light flashing as its shape started to shift.

Nyx looked back a little surprised to find Shun right in her face all of a sudden. She had expected there to be darkness first. The weapon she had manifested from her last khopesh had turned into a chain whip which she used to lash out toward Shun. It managed to block the shot toward her chest but she could not avoid the stab to the gut at such short range.

She let out a slight noise from the impact, the blade slicing in as easy as a knife through butter. It wasn't something she was unfamiliar with but it was a regrettable injury this early in the game. Snapping up the chain, Nyx's tried to snag one of Shun's limbs, her other hand reaching for a fist full of shirt. Whether she had either she took a step back off the ledge, a broad smile on her face. "Time for a new playground." She said trying to drag Shun with her to the fire escape below them.

As they fell over the edge Nyx landed on the railing almost like a cat, her pupils actual vertical slits as she looked back up at the assassin. When he came charging toward her she didn't allow him the opportunity to get close again. Instead she tugged on the chain that still had a limb, falling over the edge and swinging to the next level of the fire escape below them.

Being injured she was going to have to conserve her energy now, especially with a stomach wound. If she was to wager a guess she had about ten minutes before the wound became serious enough she couldn't continue. She had that amount of time to finish this...so the clock was ticking down.

((But in DBZ time ten minutes will last two years LOL))
