Keep my safe heart Safe, For I have left it with you.

Farodon looked at Almeda again as if she were crazy. Did she really expect him to climb UNDER that thing? Just for candy? There was NO way! It may have a HUGE hole in it but it was still moving. He was not going to get trampled for a few bogie flavored Jelly Beans. He looked around and everyone else was going for the candy too. Didnt they realize it was still moving? Had they all lost their minds?! Well not him, he decided now was the time to attack now that it was injured. He cast a spell flying at it...... *nonverbal Tripping Jinx. He hoped it did something!
But just as he cast it Almeda grabbed his arm and jerked him UNDER the darn thing.

Ezra watched the shell crack with wide eyes. "Oh, that's just wicked!" He exclaimed happily. He saw the colour in the gaping hole of the creature and grinned. Knowing the egg couldn't hurt him, Ezra ran underneath the egg, delivering swift blows via his fists and feet to it's underside. 'Screw magic, this is way more fun!' He thought with a cheesy grin.

Farodon had notice that many of the other students were slowing down in their attacks. He knew if things continued like this theyd never be done with it. Then they wouldnt get all that candy that he knew this 'egg' was full of. He began throwing rocks at it. THey seemed to work just as well as any spell.

Clarissa watched as the egg began to produce sweets from the cracks in it's shell. A giant demented piƱata? There was obviously something left in the egg, it wasn't gone yet. She walked forward towards the egg, searching for things to toss at it. Finally she spotted a branch it has nocked off a tree earlier. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she flicked her wand, tossing it at the egg with as much force as possible.

Almeda seeing the others start thinking the same thing, began tossing random objects and spells at the giant treat "egg". She was cautious to not hit anyone else. Including Farodon. But she had her eye on that prize, and was looking forward to seeing what was inside that thing.

Farodon finally decided that this creature was not going to be able to hurt him, at least not beyond the nurses healing abilities. So he decided to have fun, trying some spells on it. "Incendio!"

Almeda started laughing. She decided to follow Farodons suit and start practicing some spells that werent really on the books. She just had to decide which to try first. She thought and rumbled around in her memories. She couldnt think about it. She wasnt able to get anything to come to mind. She decided to get back out of the circle a few feet and think about some spell she had been wanting to try. She figured this would be her one chance to try a spell without being in danger of getting in trouble...... Which would she try first? Oh maybe the stinging Hex! That was it. She knew it was a 3rd year, but she was pretty sure she could remember it.

Dorian continued to levitate and throw stones at the egg. He was a bit impressed by the fire spell that had hit the egg, and paused to look around to see who had thrown that. When the egg finally broke open, to and the broken piece turned into a pile of candy and jelly beans Dorian dove for it almost immediately.

He stuffed a few handfuls of the choicer candies into his pockets and then turned back to the egg, which was holding much better prized on the inside. He eyed it closely, his eyes narrowing in thought. The opening looked big enough for someone to jump inside, but he wasn't about to do that while it was still bouncing around.

He jumped up and began firing rocks at it mercilessly. He knew he could have picked them up and thrown them just as Faradon was, but his spell made the stones pick up velocity and speed that his arm never could. "Break, break you darn egg!" he cried.

This is The Feeling Is Gone (hope it's alright I'm posting on a mule, can't get onto my main account till after exams are done but I'm done studying for the day D : )

Quillan had sat down for a while, watching as the others hacked away at the egg. It was getting pretty boring--everyone was so worked up about it... So not cool! They were so into it too, even Dorian, who themed so annoyed at the mere thought of even participating in this event, seemed to be enjoying himself! In fact, Dorian was sending a rather enthusiastic storm of rocks at the giant egg, which by now, had cracked quite a bit. Mm... Quillan's eyes wandered over to the seventh years. Merriam seemed to be enjoying himself still, and Calendar still seemed disgruntled.

By now, a few others students had joined in. Quillan hardly even recognized any, and he was thoroughly surprised that everyone here was a first year. Where have I been all year?--oh yeah, sleeping... Quillan mused, pushing himself up from the ground and into a standing position.

Spotting Dorian once more, Quillan hoped over to him and grabbed some stones from the area his friend was getting them from. Nonchalantly, he tossed the rock at the giant egg. It'd be cool if this thing exploded--WHOA! As he thought that, a jelly bean whacked him on the forehead. "Bloody hell! You're going down now!" Quillan swooped down and grabbed several more rocks, chucking them as hard as he could at the egg.

Clarissa watched as the egg was pelted with a barrage of rocks, spells, and sticks. She moved as close as she could without being trampled, eyeing the stash of possible shrapnel that had built up next to it. She aimed Wingardium Leviosa at several of the rocks, hitting the egg rapidly with them and avoiding its giant feet.

His rage quickly died down after he threw a few rocks. "Pah." Quillan was once again bored. As he casually threw a rock--actually, it might've been a discarded Easter egg--in the egg's direction, another round of jelly beans burst out. "AH!" Quillan ran forward, attempting to catch one in his mouth. It bounced off his lip and he had to lunge for it to land onto his tongue. "Dshorian! Dslorian!" Quillan exclaimed, running back to his friend with his tongue sticking out. "Swhook what I haaghh--" The jellybean bounced back and slipped back into his throat, causing Quillan to violently cough.

"Y-yikes!" Quillan exclaimed, hitting his chest a few times to stop the coughing.

With Quillan's final attack, a discarded prank egg tossed at it almost casually, the large enchanted egg seemed to throw a fit. The magic holding it together finally started to crumble, the massive creature stumbling forward as its legs started to melt away from the base of the thick shell. The goo left behind was nothing more than a huge mound of yellow and white marshmallow.

Since the legs were no longer behind him, the egg had nothing to keep it from rolling forward, spinning wildly about the grounds with no sense of control or direction. Ego chuckled lightly, watching his creation take its final spin around the grass.

"About time they took the damn thing down!" Laughed the seventh year. His companion, the extremely irritated Sophie, nudged him sharply in the side, causing him to grunt and whimper.

"You shouldn't have made it so hard to defeat! They're only first years!"

"Oh come on!" huffed the Gryffindor, "they probably had fun, and look at all the candy! Kids like candy, don't they? Plus, they're better at their spells, too, so that'll help with school. I'm all kind of helpful!"

Sophie rolled her eyes. "You mean all kinds of stupid," she corrected him quickly.

As they fought, the egg continued a wild rolling spree, finally stopping when it slammed into a tree. Like a pinata getting whacked by a large plank, the egg split open right down the middle. From the chasm exploded a geyser of eggs, none of them the dastardly prank kind. The rainbow of colorful plastic and candy wonder descended from the sky, eggs plopping safely into the grass as though they had been placed down by a gentle hand.

There was more than enough for everyone: the sheer volume of eggs spurting up from the former monster seemed impossible given the available space, but what was magic if not the master of making the impossible, possible?

Ezra had given up on the 'festivities', leaning on a nearby tree and eating chocolate as the other students attacked the creature. He was about to heard back up to his dorm when he heard triumphant cheers. Eyes widening, he looked up to see many colours spraying from the giant egg. 'E-eggs!?' He thought in awe, approaching the remains cautiously. Other children seemed to be picking them up in handfuls, so the young Gryffindor shrugged and joined in, grabbing as many as he could hold.

Clarissa quickly jumped back as the egg fell, avoiding the gigantic shell. She watched the fountain of plastic eggs spew, simply watching it for a few seconds before realizing the eggs were the whole point of the battle. She walked forward fearlessly, opening her bag and reaching for as many eggs as possible.
