Battering the hell out of the mirror that startled her greatly made Lieutenant Moonstone feel much better - even as blood welled up and rolled down her hand wetly. Her eyes widened a little when she noticed that her fist was curled tightly around a key - finally! Something that might prove useful to them - but oh god...just at that moment there was a decidedly ominous sound - something she didn't recognize at all.
Good thing the gate clattered and slammed down with a resounding THWANK! to show her what that noise had meant. Pandora stared as her comrades (even the crazy ones) dove to one side or the other; she was fairly safe by the shattered remains of her mirror.
Those stuck with her numbered Alkaid, Myalite (whom she didn't know save that she'd tried killing her moments ago), the Lieutenant with the crazy greaser bouffant hairdo and the still shrieking Kazite (also unknown to her).
"Well now what?" Moonstone looked at her key once more, then started looking around for the lock that needed her key.

If you have not rolled for your side yet or are joining late, make sure you roll the ONE or TWO to determine where your character will go. A gate crashed down in the center of the room, slamming against the concrete floor with a deafening crack. It appeared to be some sort of floor-to-ceiling plexiglass window that spanned the length of the room. It was divided equally in half, leaving Negas on either side staring blankly at one another. Try as they might, there was no way that they could break through the thick glass. Those on the left side with Fluorite got an unwelcome surprise. The vent that held the lever that brought this wall between them was not done tipping the scales of fate. A tiny drizzle of water began to stream out of the vent. It grew heavier and heavier. It was as if someone was in a room above them slowly turning up the faucet. Fluorite turned to show the others the key. If she had known what was about to happen, she probably wouldn't have. The air vent exploded with water like a firehouse, pelting the purple-haired Nega in the back. The impact sent her flying across the room. Her body collided with the clear window with a hard smack. A smear of blood greased the surface as she slowly sank down to the floor. The room began to fill with water. The others scrambled, trying to find a way out, trying to help Fluorite. What had happened to the key she was holding where did it go? The water stopped flowing clear. It turned sickly green. In a manner of minutes, all of the Negas on the left side of the glass were floating in it. The water level began to rise until they were forced to go underwater. The last thing the Negaverse agents staying dry on the right side saw was a part of hand slamming weakly against the glass. Then they went limp. There was no more movement. There was no way to reach them. Those poor Negas knew only darkness. After watching their comrades drown, the Negaverse agents on the right side found themselves facing their own problems. The door in front of them flung open and every single light in the room went out. They felt hands on them -- and then, suddenly, they were somewhere else. Room Lists Left Room Lt. Fluorite Lt. An ominous cracking sound preceeded the roof beginning to collapse in on them - or so Hiro thought. The spell was broken and Hiro was a cat once more. A cat about to be crushed!
He had no time to see where Alkaid had gone. He could only hope that she was safe, and perhaps dodging in the same direction that he was. With all the nimble grace of a panicked cat (not much, really), Hiro dove to the left.
Shaking himself off, he looked around. No Alkaid. Hiro stared at the gate behind them, effectively blocking off the other side of the room. "Alkaid?" he called out, ears flat against his head. What if she was hurt? What if she was dead? Hiro could only hope that his senshi was safe as he reluctantly turned and watched Fluorite use her key.
Water blasted into the room. Hiro panicked. Cats did not like water! It was over his head long before the other Negaverse members were in trouble - not even furious cat-paddling could keep Hiro afloat.
As rushing water closed over his head and his lungs felt about to burst, Hiro spared his last panicked worry on someone else. 'Alkaid...!'

Kizakinite had been taken by surprise, which was not a good thing nor was it something he'd ever speak of aloud, and he took off leaping to the left side of the room. Had he a clue what would happen soon he'd have gone right.
As it was he stood on the other side watching Fluorite as she used some key, where it had come from he didn't know. It seemed it wasn't such a good idea, as he watched her hit into the wall and leave a trai of blood in her wake.
"Some how this doesn't feel good to me...."
It looked like this would be very bad as the water turned green...and he was left soon enough unconscious, lost in the water.

Sassolite had joined with the others and stayed close to her lieutenant for more then just work reasons. She liked him a lot and there were ideas of pushing him into a corner when the others weren't looking, such was their relationship if that's what you called it. The random darts followed by a rather numb arm had been nothing compared to the events that had followed.
The book.
She had just stared at it. She had heard of the book but really wasn't much of a reader. She knew a lot of people fangirled over it but what did it matter? Soon she was in the story and nothing made sense or did it? It was something that maybe she would or wouldn't remember at some point.
Then of course something else happened, again confusion but she ran, she ran to the side that seemed right at the time.

SLAM.
The gate crashed down and Fluorite nearly jumped right out of her skin. What had... ?! Oh, she could see it in the reflection of the metal. A... gate ?
Water slowly started to trickle down from the vent. She didn't take notice of it, or the fact that it was growing heavier and heavier. There was water all over the place in this hellhole.
"I found this..." She turned to show those who where with her the key. Maybe they could open the gate with it ? Or shatter it ? One thing for sure, they had to regroup.
She didn't get to ponder much more of this, through. The vent exploded behind her, and the poor lieutenant let out an high-pitched shriek as she was launched straight for the gate. She never had time to react.
She hit the plexiglass at full speed, and then her body slid down, leaving a trail of blood in it's wake. Fluorite didn't move, even when the water turned a sick shade of green and swallowed her whole.

A metal grating in the wall fell out on to the floor, clattering loudly against the smooth concrete. The Negaverse agents who had seemingly drowned in a green deluge several minutes ago appeared unharmed as they crawled out of the vent and into the room. The survivors lacked any visible injuries, but they absolutely reeked of sulfur. The smell permeated the entire room. It was enough to make a weak-stomached warrior vomit out his or her Breakfast of Champions. In the room, there were three doors: Door One was painted red and appeared wooden. Door Two was metal with some sort of green pine-like plant pinned on the wall above it. Door Three was completely nondescript, like that kind of door that was totally just like that other door. You can hear fighting going on nearby -- perhaps even make out the voices of Moonstone, Myalite, Alkaid, Proustite, Kazite, Sassolite, or one of two strange female tones that you do not recognize. You have no idea how to reach your allies. Which door will you open? Post to investigate the door of your choice.

Bismuthite wasn't sure just how he and the others survived the drowning, but he was now well aware that just because he had a cold, he could certainly still smell some things. Ugh, it made his stomach churn... His body felt heavy because of the water still clinging to his uniform too. He didn't think to check and see if he still had those three darts tucked away. The sound of voices though took his mind from all that and put it back in to a more serious place.
Was that fighting? Some of those voices sounded familiar.. He assumed it was coming from one of those doors, but which one? He chose to first examine the plain third door. It stuck out to him, since it was disturbingly...normal and plain. In his mind, the other two were done up to be like some sort of decoy. Of course, his reasoning could always be faulty, but it seldom hurt to check things out... Right?
Riiiiight?

Fluorite slowly came back to her senses. Still alive, but... god, she had one hell of an headache. Her jaw hurted...
Sure enough, looking down she saw splatters of red. Rising one hand to her cheeks, she felt the sting of a rather large cut on her cheek.
What had happened ? She remembered a loud noise, then... nothing.
And god, it reeked like hell in here.
She shook her head once, twice, trying to get the room to stop spinning. "Im fine." She called out to her compariots, slowly working herself to her feet. Which way... There was no exit. Beside...
The vent.
Green eyes narrowed, and she peered in the hole. Yep, sure enough, the had fallen through the vent, and so she worked her way out, and it was then that she figured that the smell wasn't the room.
It was them.
Ugh...
She watched Bismuthite head for the plain door, and pondered for a moment. They probably shouldn't separate any further, but... it wouldn't hurt just to take a look, wouldn't it ?

Despite its flimsy appearance, the third door was actually quite solid. Pushing would not make it budge. Placing an ear against the surface would give back no sound. There were no scratches or markings. The rest of the warehouse was old and cave-like, but this door seemed unscathed. There was a keyhole, but no doorknob. The pink-eyed Nega realized that there was a weight in his pocket aside from the heft of the darts. Somehow in the Twilight Encounter, he had come into possession of a key. Would Bismuthite try his key in this door, or would he go explore another?
The red door felt warm to the touch. The metal handle looked clawed and scraped as if opened a hundred times before by a hundred different hands. If Fluorite touched the handle, she would feel an engraving etched on the side of it above the keyhold. Would Fluorite investigate the engraving, try her key in the hole, or go investigate another door?

Lucky for Bismuthite, who didn't puke. Kizakinite had gone right for a corner of the room to puke. He couldn't keep it in any longer, he'd been trying the whole time in the vent. He couldn't manage any longer.
"Oh god." The scent was going to take forever to get out, he could foresee many showers and hair washings.
Watching the other two, picking doors, he headed for door number two and pushing it open headed in. Hopefully he'd not find himself in more trouble than he could handle.

As Bismuthite examined the door, a hand went to his pocket as he almost subconsciously reached for the key he didn't know was there. Once he had it, he glanced down at it, then to Fluorite. She had taken to ecamining another door. He wanted to know what she had been able to gather from her examination before he proceeded with this one.
It seemed too new to be of no importance in a warehouse so old and ratty. He was certain it was put up for a reason... Still, just like he had thought the others were a decoy, this could be too. He was second guessing, and even third guessing himself.
"What do you think?" He asked the other lieutenant. Should they investigate further before picking a door to go through, or would they dangerously part ways? "This door seems too new compared to the rest of the place. I can't hear anything trough it, so I'm not sure if the others would be on the other side but... What about that one?" He jestured to the one she was examining.
For now the third member of their party who had spent some time puking in the corner was going ignored. It wasn't on purpose. he just didn't seem to be too far along with his own examination yet...

The second door swung open easily -- way too easily. The tiny green plant that was pinned just above it began wiggling from the motion, released a tiny white powder. The flakes fell in Kizakinite's hair. Bismuthite and Fluorite might have noticed it, but the other lieutenant did not. Lt. Kizakinite stepped into the door without stopping to alert his teammates, or to scout it out ahead of time. One foot crossed the threshold and suddenly Kizakinite was plummeting downward! ROLL ONE 100-SIDED DIE IF YOU WISH TO TRY AND CATCH KIZAKINITE'S HAND.
ROLL ONE 20-SIDED DIE IF YOU DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HELP HIM.
KIZAKINITE MUST ROLL ONE 100-SIDED DIE TO TRY AND CATCH THE LEDGE OF THE DOORWAY BEFORE PLUMMETING TO WHAT MIGHT BE HIS DEATH.
THE GM WILL INTERPRET THE RESULT OF YOUR ROLLS.

She looked at Bismuthite when he spoke to her, head tilting in his direction. "I dunno... I can't tell if the noise is coming from here." She admitted. The noise seemed so far away... "It looks like it's been used a lot, through... There are marks on the handles, wear and tear."
"We probably shouldn't separate any more than we already have, through." She bit her lip. "On our lonesome we'll be easy pickings..."
The young girl squinted. "Wait, there's some engraving..." She learned in closer to examine the engraving

There was a crescent moon carved on the handle of the red door with a staff-shape crossing it like an X. Fluorite did not have much time to think about it. She had to make a choice about Kizakinite!
