Team Alpha's Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location:Outside with team Alpha on grassy Bleachers Tsukino listened intently as Gideon spoke. He explained what his powers were through a demonstration.Seems the rumors were true that he was wolverine's clone. But that didnt matter to Tsukino cause he was definety cuter than wolverine. She looked down at his right hand that had fallen to his side.It was his book,'Art of war'.She loved chinese history and his book was written by the legendary Sun Tzu,and like her book,'Romance of the three kingdoms',it was written during turbulent times. She wondered if he would let her read it one day.Tsukino was almost finished with her book and was unfortunately unable to find anything that interested her in the library earlier. But she didnt really look that hard, so there may be a good book in there somewhere. She decided she would ask him on thier way inside.
She was staring at him when a young man(Elliot) came up to her, Aurelie and Alexandria asking if he could sit near them. She smiled and waved at him as he spoke to them. She scooted over so he could sit."Umm...I dont mind."Tsukino said quietly as she opened her book open again and began to read. She was so nervous she felt like the butterflies in her stomach were going to explode. But she didnt understand why she was so nervous. She kept reading as the boy got himself seated.
Halfway through the page she was on,abother new member introduced himself. His name was Robert or Rob for short. His powers revolved around the manipulation of flames and his name,Scorch, fit him perfectly. She smiled at him as he finished. She looked over at Gideon one more time before looking back her book and continuing to read. She was kinda happy since Robert was the only one who seemed to not get uneasy about her question. He was probably just as ready to practice his powers as she was. There were only a few more people who hadn't introduced themselves.Marcel and another man.She already knew info about marcel though. He had the power of water manipulation but the other guy she was unsure of.There were alot of elementals on the Alpha squad not a large array of unique powers like team omega. But this team was great nonetheless.

She's lost in the darkness, Fading away I'm still around here, Screaming her name She's haunting my dreamworld, Trying to survive My heart is frozen, I'm losing my mind ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Name: Ƞarcissa "Cissa" Ƚucania Team: Ѻmega Location: Lounge Thinking: Not another crybaby snowflake....XXXXXXXXXXXX═════════════════════════════════════════════Narcissa was trying to quell the urge to pinch the bridge of her nose as a gangly little street urchin started prattling on about…Absurd, and vaguely insulting gibberish. His appearance, and rather smug facial expression told her that for some reason or another he was…Insanely pleased with himself. Though to her credit, the sun goddess remained still on the couch—Cold eyes unflinching at the sight of the private jet that had gone down into the Pacific so many years ago. The photograph from CNN was grainy…The little, weeping blond girl in the rescue team members arms striking chords for her… Somewhere deep down, it pulled at her heart strings. Pulled at a very painful memory. Yes, somewhere deep down…She felt that pain acutely. Somewhere, very, deep down.
Things she hadn’t thought about that particular incident since coming to the Academy. When it resurfaced…She pushed it away. Of course, who would want to remember that she’d likely killed the only people that had actually loved her the first time her powers showed themselves… She felt disgust well within her, at the sight of this overconfident…Child… Using the photograph as some kind of bargaining chip.
As if he had a right to.
“Ladies, meet Hax.”, she introduced them with a bored wave of her hand…There was always at least one self-important upstart every year. And for some strange reason, hell bent on trying to make her lose her cool. It was a waste of time, really. All one had to do was ask.”He’s apparently known for his intelligence… Which the Headmistress thought would prove useful to my team. Though today, he must be feeling under the weather, because we are greeted with sheer idiocy at its finest…”
She drew her hands together as Orchid laughed, and clapped lightly at the performance—The pads of her fingers ever so slightly tapping her palm. It was cute, in a way. Almost flattering. Kerrigan, for the time being was ignored….Not out of disrespect, but simply because she knew what the woman was trying to do. After years of bending to her, simply out of personal affection…She knew when she was being handled. “Unless I’ve confused your power with someone else… That would explain why a green sixteen year old—Who, from the sound of your voice, hasn’t hit puberty yet—Would come in here, spouting such tripe.”
This was one reason, Narcissa had been thoroughly against sixteen year olds joining the teams… In her experience, they were just too young. Too stupid. And twice as likely to get themselves killed.
Narcissa leaned forward as the Alpha’s filed out of the room…Waiting for them to leave. Isabella always had a way of trying to scold her, when she didn’t like her tone of voice. Not for the first time, she felt like the parent, explaining something to a petulant child… Things like, Why they needed to brush their teeth… And, Why they shouldn’t take candy from strangers… And why they should look before crossing the street. It was for their own damn good. As the last Alpha filed out her expression changed… Her eyes that of a frozen, barren wasteland… She removed the indulgent parent from her façade, and replaced it with the Omega leader—Just as easily as one would wear a mask.
“You’re new. So I’ll understand this lapse in judgment once… And only once. This is not a business arrangement. You are placed in my care. To make it simple, I own you. Don’t wage a war, you cannot hope to win. Your place on my team in a privilege—Not a right. You don’t care about that? Fine. Your place on any team, with access to any piece of techno-crap that might get you off—Is a privilege, not a right. Let’s catch up the rest of those in the room so we’re not being rude…”, Narcissa spoke coldly, every inch of her seeming to have sharpened. She’d gone from deliciously relaxed, gorgeous, debutante to a harsh militaristic leader is seconds.
“Hax thought it prudent to hack into the schools server…I was made aware, that an unauthorized user had pulled a good chunk of my file. What he gave me a glimpse of, on his laptop was a still from a news feed from several years ago—Where my parents were killed in a plane crash. The police state that there was a bright flash of light before the plane went down…They think there might have been some kind of bomb on board… But what I know, that they don’t—Was that the bright flash was me.”, she explained easily…Almost breezily, as if the topic didn’t at all bother her. There was not a facial tick, not a flinch, not a quiver in her voice… She was perfect.
Her eyes flickered back to Hax… Again falling silent. Her admission of the situation would benefit her…Far more than it could ever benefit him. She leaned back in the soft couch once more—Fingers lacing in her lap demurely, as if she were settling in for afternoon tea and biscuits. “How concerned you are…About the fires burning outside of this School… When you’ve no idea of the match you just lit.”
“We are Omega. And I do not have time for dissension, or a sneaky little rat working against me. There are enough of those on the other side. This isn’t some high school game… And if you think is, perhaps you should tell Emma you aren’t up to it. The lives of your teammates depend on you being focused and dependable… I won’t let your ineptitude jeopardize our chances of survival. We expect the unexpected and we do what must be done—No matter who crawls out of the woodwork to face us. No matter the price...”, she explained, in the same monotonous voice… Hax could choose to wave her off, ignore whatever he liked… But it didn’t remove the fact of it.
“The only side available to any Omega—Is mine. None of you have to like it, but you will suffer me. Insubordination is grounds for me to dismiss any of you. For me to assign punishment as I see fit. Or worse, as Emma, see’s fit.”
She stood up from the couch then, picking up the small glittering clutch from the coffee table…Moving to leave the room, before she paused, “Oh… One more thing.”
A ball of screaming light left her hand, smacking into the laptop bag Hax had brought with him—The smell of melted, molten metal filling the air. The offending picture, for the time being, erased from his possession. No doubt he’d made copies. Though she was careful, not to scorch the brat in the process—Pulling the excess energy back to her, once she was sure the laptop was mulch.
She did not harm her own. Until they no longer, were her own. But she could make life a living hell.
“Oh goodess gracious… I think my fragile emotional barriers must have gotten the best of me!”, she chirped out in a decidedly valley girl tone., her still glowing hand coming to cover her lips with mock shock, before her expression went flat—Eyes filled with a particular surety and confidence that could not be considered egotistical…It was merely earned.
“Here endeth the lesson. Welcome to the Omega’s…I’ve a Danger Room session to plan for.”, she spoke coolly, before taking her leave from the room—Heels clicking on the tile. ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

ℜ@√℮ Ѻмεℊα- The kitchen is the default Omega Hangout "Oh yeah, I had almost forgotten about that guy. Though it has been good to not have to deal with Narcissa's rage fueled danger room sessions, I kinda miss seeing her chase him around trying to kill him." Leion mused as Shandra walked in and spoke up about the previous mischief maker, "Yup, back when he was Snowflake. Though I don't know which was worse, Snowflake or Arctic. And it would have been amazing to watch Christian.""No, I did not know that, but I'm assuming you just figured it out, Spider-Man?" he choked out, having inhaled a rather large bacon chunk at the sudden appearance, it had been a while since he had called Jacen that, but then again it had also bee a while since the octo-man had made a surprise entrance. He really should be used to this by now, the only time Jacen doesn't attempt a flashy entrance is during missions when the mood is decidedly more serious. "But I bet I'd be able to do it without breaking the diving board," he teased, knowing he'd probably never try it. Then someone walked in, Leion didn't know him personally, but he had checked the files when he got back to catch up on team info and what had happened while he was away. This guy was Roland, a fellow Omega, though significantly newer to the team a slight nod was given to acknowledge his existence in the room. Leion closed his eyes and opened them again, revealing them to be a bright red now instead of their usual bright purple, a nice advantage that came with furthering his power control, he could make his eyes match the team color. "Not much here, just eating and that's pretty much all I've done today." Leion replied as he finished the last bite of his omelet. Leion + James ~ Evans

"They don't know... What I know... They never seen this side of you... They Know the lies, I know the truth "They say stay... I say go... They never saw our stars before They think our love is beautiful..." "Everything is beautiful when you see them through... Rose Colored Glasses" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel Porter ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel glanced at everyone around them. They either were asking questions of just introducing themselves. Was that really necessary? To say your name, code name, and what you were capable of? Couldn't it just be shorter? Say your name and go about your ways unless there was more and that was a buzzkill. When you had to sit around for a good few for something else. Not like he ever had that experience though. It was very seldom he had any kind of relation outside that miserable place. This was the present though and now he came running into yet another conflict. What to say.
Several things happened in that hideout of his. Training, listening to orders, the occasional goof off when allowed, and the back to training. There was no time to talk to other people even though he was in an abandoned house near civilization and a forest. That was messed up. His father was so worked upon his own child's survival, he neglected the oppurtunity of letting him talk to at least a random person when he was old enough to do so. Now he had to spend the next few seconds contemplating in that head of his what to say an how to say it. As he looked around, only two people didn't introduce themselves. That was him and some other boy. Well the others had nothing wrong with saying something about themselves. It could have even been worse. He could have been mumbling it all and then have that sudden outburst. That wouldn't have ended well. The next thing that came to mind was to end it in three simple words. His name, codename, and abilities. If people read files on him then they knew what he was capable of,
"Marcel. Tsunami. Hydrokinesis." With that, he was just about ready to go. Climb rooftops or just train more, without the others though. Not like they were a problem or anything, he just preferred to go at it alone with his usual sessions. If the team needed something else like team training, then he would be there. He was dedicated to the things he did after all. He could care less if someone said something about how he said it, even if they thought it. He couldn't read minds, which was a good thing. All he did was remove the unecessary words and left the important ones. This team was full of elementals, but he hoped the other didn't think he would be using that ability of his for a good while. The last time he fully used it was on people and that was unintentional. For the moment, he would rely on everything his father taught him since his father was capable of teleporting and had an athletic build. That did leave him with questions about what his father did other than the fact that he had to keep himself and his uknown son hidden from Mr. Sinister. "Everything is amazing when you see the view in... Rose Colored Glasses Take em' Off" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Team: Alpha Code Name: Tsunami Location: Student Lounge Ability: Hydrokinesis Thoughts: Did I say that wrong? ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

Alpha's, the winning team; interest or familiar game? Dimitri made a shocked expression, placing his hand over his mouth when Tara mentioned she could care less about what people thought of her. That means that she had something that Dimitri liked. He wished that some girls he met did not care so much about their apperance, especially if they looked good already. Plus when they were going to places that did not require one to look like their going to prom or a dance everyday.
"You mean we have something in common? Next thing you know we're going to be on the same team and......oh wait never mind."
In the back of his mind he could tell what was happening, or what was going to happen when he saw Tara unable to hold back her laughter during mid-chew. He laughed a little bit, joking around as usual telling her that he's sorry if he said something bad. It was just that those sorts of laughs were the best. A regular laugh was always good but it was something about watching him or her being unable to do simple actions like chew food because what they said was too funny. Similar to spitting out beverage after hearing a funny joke.
Dimitri thought that if she lose her clothes and put her in a jersey and some shorts that she could make it for the basketball chick. Attractive girls always looked good in shorts. They looked even better with nothing but jersey's too. But Dimitri had to disagree with his so called reputation that Tara assumed he had. In his eyes he was just the above average guy when it came to apperance that liked to have a good time and even a better time with women at night.
"Of course, not to mention leave them with something to make the date memorable to them." he added, quickly raising his eyebrows to her as a response to her wink. She had to be kidding around when she winked at him right?
"And i don't have a reuptation here. Im just a guy that likes to have fun. But since you're so concerned about me, what do you think my reputation is?"

I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Outside - Bleachers Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Desnudate... █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ She was gladdened to hear that Leonardo was fine, and she nodded her head faintly to show that she’d heard, murmuring an equally secretive, “Good.” The Alpha leader tended to mother her brood…Far more than the Omega leader ever word. But she felt responsible for each and every one of them… What kind of leader would she be, if she didn’t grow to care for them?
Isabella sat with her skirt tucked down on the bleachers, to avoid any kind of wardrobe malfunction—And sighed rather happily at the feeling of sunlight on her face. She missed the hot…Desperately dry weather of home. She’d been born, and for the most part raised in Columbia. Snow had been confusing to her upon arriving at the Academy so many years ago…Something from Hallmark cards and children’s stories. Smiling happily at her new recruits, she looked thankfully to Alexandria as she stopped the high winds… They because a far more gentle breeze after that.
Though, it still looked as if it might rain the next few hours…Bella could smell the ozone in the air.
She noticed that the girl had used her powers easily, and liberally. That was a good sign for an Alpha… They couldn’t be afraid of their powers. Hesitation wasn’t something they could afford…How Isabella wished that weren’t the case. Truly wished that they could all do as they pleased… But with the way the media had been pushing things as of late…With the way politicians were fighting over mutant-human laws… She knew that it was a sound idea to bulk up their ranks.
Even just to keep the school safe.
Even with their security…They couldn’t afford to be taken by surprise. There was a whole group of elementary school children that lived here, too young for the teams—But unwelcome in human schools. They had to be prepared for any threat.
“Trust me, Lexi…Gideon is right…Twice a week will soon be more than enough for you.”, she chucked as she spoke to the aerokinetic. The Siren smiled , and tilted her head at Tsukino’s question about a Danger Room session… “Soon, mi amor—Soon.”
It was a cryptic reply, one that she made potentially even worse with a teasing smile. Isabella was hesitant about danger room sessions with new recruits to the Alpha’s.
They didn’t always turn out well.
Though her usual dazzling smile fell a notch, just slightly as she saw Reggie backing away—Pale as a sheet…For all the world, as if she had seen a ghost. It wasn’t hard…For the songstress to put two and two together. As team leader, she knew the majority of the Alpha’s personal history… And likely some that they wished she didn’t know. But she didn’t acknowledge it, didn’t speak of it—Unless they had a problem that demanded it.
Everyone had a history…Everyone had a past. But the Siren decidedly looked beyond any indiscretions. They were X-Men now… They were brothers, sisters in arms. And she would care for them all equally.
Calling Reggie out in front of the group would have been poor taste, and might have made things worse… So she let it slide, for the time being. Besides… It wasn’t herself that the girl needed to speak to. It was Leonardo.
She smiled when Aurelie kept the conversation going, and Isabella, seeking to take any curious eyes off of Reggie chuckled…Finding it a little odd that she hadn’t mentioned her ability. “How is it that you lucked out twice in a row with lovely aliases… I won’t even tell you, what my first codename was.”
Oh no, Bella would be taking that to her grave.
Her gaze turned back to Tsukino when she spoke up, and the sweet latina nodded her head—Noting her nervousness. “Barriers are always a good thing to have… You never know what an enemy will throw at you. An old crusty sock…A bomb. Whichever.”, she murmured nonchalantly, again passing a teasing grin… To show for the most part she was kidding.
About the crusty socks. She didn't care to specify about which part though. Bombs, were always a possibility.
An older, but familiar face popped up—Though Bella heard Eli coming long before he arrived. “Eli…Meet some of the new Alpha’s—Sit Sit…”, she encourages with a smile, having mostly forgotten what had transpired on Catalina between them.
Briefly, she went over their names again for him.
Rob seemed like an interesting character, so he liked to be called—And whereas some might have felt discomfort…This was orientation for the Alpha’s… These would be the people that would be working with them elbow deep in danger. It would be imperative, for them to know one another. Marcel have his power, and codename, and the songstress nodded to that as well…
So many new faces… How she would manage to keep them all straight, was going to be a miracle.
“All right…Danger Room sessions will happen. However, we may have some other team related exercises before we attempt that. Many of you are newer to this kind of team… Where as some of you are not. So you will all need to help one another. If you have any problems, you can always come to me…It doesn’t matter what it is. There are a few rules…”, she trailed off with a faint grimace, knowing of course, that rules never went over well. “One... Is that you must have your comm link on you at all times. Alpha’s can be called in to fight anytime…Even in the middle of the night. On sanctioned missions, uniforms are required…Due to the…Political unrest, if you are to leave the base…Scott asks that we do so in pairs… And that you shoot me an email before you go. Be sure, to keep your ability use to a minimum outside the school. You don’t want to attract any undue attention.” Her head tilted then, and she smiled for perhaps the millionth time… “I forgot… Just in case any of you were curious… My ability is related to sound manipulation. And on the field, my codename is Siren.”
She paused, taking a deep breath.
{“My name is Logan, and I wear pink and watch Hello Kitty with Emma on Saturday mornings.”}, Isabella spoke aloud—Though it was not her voice that came from her lips, but Wolverines. Chuckling at herself—She shook her head. “It’s mostly good for parlor tricks.”
So… That was a gross understatement. But the new Alpha’s would find out eventually.
“Other than that… Is really all I have for you at the moment. You’re all free too leave and do as you please… I’ll wait here, awhile, incase any of you need anything. You can always reach me by comm... Or just, ask for me out loud.”
This would also break the fragile thought that there were actually secrets in the academy. Oh no, not when she could hear a mouse crawling around two miles away. [OOC: If I missed anyone, I apologize-- It is early for me.]

Aurelie Nissleyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [Team: Alpha ]xxxxxxxxxxx | Telekinetic | Bleachers, Outside | Meet and Greet. | ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxx Azure eyes narrowed slightly with a frown when she caught the quiet exchange between Leo and Bella. He'd been hurt... likely doing something on the teams. Oh this bodes well... just the way Quill in the Danger Room bodes well. She thought, a little bit of humor threading her mind. The woman remained quiet with this, however, dubbing it not her place to say anything.
Moonlight giggled, somewhat akin to a school girl as she stared at the platinium blond man who had gifted Bella with an apple, and then introduced herself, giving way to what she'd be doing on the field. I probably should have done the same. “Nice to meet you.” Aurelie murmured, trying not to be too hard on herself for not following status quo. Since when had she become an awkward duck?
Oh right... the loss of the comfort zone. Thanks Scott. I appreciate it.
Gideon introduced himself, and then seemed a tad bit foreboding when he responded to Alexandria. “Ominious sort, aren't you?” She asked, grinning just a tad bit to try and lighten her mood. Shortly after he began speaking about how they might have known what his ability was if they'd listened to any gossips at the Academy, but she didn't follow until the metalic claws came out of his skin. “Gotcha.”
Bella added her own reply to the 'trouble' remark from the friendly Aerokinetic, and Aurelie silently agreed. Rumors about the Alpha and Omega teams shrouded the school... and it was hard to deny some of them when the school ended up as a pile of rubble. That had happened far too many times with the teams' names attached to it to not believe that they'd at the very least be busy. Another guy hollered out towards Leo (Eli), and asked if he could join them on the bleachers. Tsukino answered for them, and Aurelie gave a casual shrug as if to say “feel free.” Aurelie grinned at Rob's codename, finding it clever. And something she'd name a pocket dragon, and altogether fitting the short man at the same time. ”I hope it's just your codename and not indicative of your prowess in the kitchen.” the telekinetic joked quietly, mischief spelling itself in her eyes – almost the way it would have had she still been with the Corsairs.
Marcel gave a very concise introduction of himself, quite obviously not one for small talk. He seemed as though he didn't want to prolong his visit with the new team... but she didn't think anything of it. A lot of people were not keen on new settings – herself included.
She grimaced only slightly when the team leader answered the question about the up and coming Danger Room sessions, not at all anxious for those to commence again. “No hurry on that one, Bella.” The woman teased, only hoping that it wouldn't be too soon.
Her teeth pulled at her bottom lip when Bella complimented her codenames, giving way to a small chuckle. “Just lucky I guess. Though, now I think I do want to know yours.” Now would be the perfect time to seem less awkward about forgetting her ability. “Oh, by the way... I'm sorry.. I forgot to say what I'll be doing on the field... I'm a telekinetic.” Most people would know what that was without her further explaining it. “With a heavy emphasis on transvection... as I've the most practice with it.” After all, it was how she excelled so fast in ballet. Using her abilities to freeze her in the air so that she could figure out how to best perform a move had been really the only way she'd used her telekinesis before coming to the academy. Of course... that had changed when she'd first been promoted to the Corsairs... and with private sessions from Emma and Jean, she'd expanded its uses quite a deal.
Bella dished out the rules and then gave a demonstration of her power, and then downplayed it by saying it was only useful in parlor tricks. But given the fact that the woman was their team leader, Aurelie doubted that very much.
Something about the latina made the blond at ease, made her smile and feel infinitely better about the transfer of teams. “I'll take you up on that music session later... but I doubt I'll be nearly as gifted as you, what with the sound manipulation there to aid you.” She laughed then, knowing that... if she had to be placed on a team, one with Bella Stone leading it was perhaps better than any of the other options.
Maybe she'd actually thank Scott later. Doubtful... because she'd probably regret it later.
“In the mean time, I'd better go practice... or go see if my roommate has checked in yet.” She announced, standing up to leave. “Any one is welcome to join if they'd like.” Her eyes darted from Bella to Leo, who looked a bit nervous earlier, but was masking it well enough now that she hadn't a clue, and then fell back to the team leader. “Thanks for the warm welcome, Bella. I'm sure being with the Alphas will be splendid.” At times. Times when you know, they weren't destroying the school and fighting for their lives. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Kitchen The idea of Jacen breaking the diving board seemed a pittance compared to what she’d broken and was still paying back with her monthly “allowance” at the school. However, the idea of just how he could have done that was amusing enough.
“At least Alexander…Arctic…isn’t active anymore. I mean imagine if you’d slammed into a solid block of ice because someone had set him into a hissy fit again,” Shandra commented softly from atop her perch on the counter. “I still think…even over the bathrooms that his – well I mean when he kind of froze over Antonio’s hand shows the lack of whatever it was that he had. I mean at least a bathroom can be fixed – elixir is just a godsend we have here, not everyone has someone as skilled. Think about what would happen if everyone had to resort to only using regular medical attention without the use of healing mutants.”
When had she gotten to mouthy and talkative again? Shandra’s eyes flickered over to Roland as he first entered the kitchen. It seemed that the academy’s kitchen had once again become the hodgepodge of people who had nothing better to do once again. And it might have been because of this that she slipped off the counter where she had previously been sitting and took to standing with her hands behind her back, at an angle with the counter instead of being on top of it.
“Thank you,” Shandra felt oblidged to say, despite the fact that she didn’t have any dishes that needed washing this time around, when Roland offered to do them.
She had always hated cleaning up her own mess…took way more time than creating it. But then again, that’s what a lot of work was about generally. It just didn’t mean that she had to care for it.
Shandra’s eyes tilted with her head as she stared at the newer Omega (Roland) for just a moment. She was trying to remember anything she’d gotten from him in the previous month – more over the time in whatever that Nightmare world had been. Had he been the self abusive one? Or had that been Leonardo? Shandra tried to pick at him mentally, but it was like…a fog. A dream that didn’t want to be captured again. She couldn’t actually recall much about him – his name and team and that was about it. And that, by itself, was probably a great disadvantage to her. She was having such a hard time storing information from personal experiences that it wasn’t even funny anymore. Or was it so hard because she had felt like such a bystander and had not personally interacted a great deal with him?
Whatever it was, this lack of being able to grasp at thing she should know was definitely not the most fun thing in the world.
She turned her head over to where Christian seemed to be relaxing or planning something. Omegas were always planning something – it just didn’t always have to be an important or relevant something.
“Do you know if Narcissa has anything in store for us today?” Shandra asked gently.
She didn’t pay mind to the fact that some of her hair decided it didn’t want to stay in the balance it had previously had of being not quite over the shoulder but not exactly neatly behind. Perhaps she was too casual for the liking of their Omega leader, but Shandra found it was much less stress to not worry over the fact that her hair was not always in perfect place. But if they did have something in store for the day, Shandra could already guess that hair-ties and a quick change uniform would be the tools needed to have on hand. Generally making Narcissa wait was not a good thing…generally her patience was not something that Shandra cared to test the length it could go before it snapped back on her like a rubber band. No…she’d learned early on with Derek that you do not test Leaders – you either leave the group or follow step.
Shandra turned her attention, glowing eyes and all, over to Leion as a random thought trespassed on how to keep the leader of the Omegas in a pliable and lenient mood – besides keeping Alphas and fools away from her.
“Do you think you can…I don’t know…make a really good cake or something incase we do have something of a surprise planned?” Shandra questioned Leion, a slight smile caressing her lips.
Shandra did everyday meals in a way that she could eat, which meant that they took a good portion of her time to prepare if she wanted something more than a salad. Antonio took the stage with Mexican (Hispanic, she supposed as a general area) dishes. But Leion used to practice making deserts. She was willing to bet he’d gotten better with them over time…
Now if only they knew what Narcissa’s favorite flavor was – besides tea.

Name: Lexi Blythe Abilities: Aerokinesis Team: Alphas Location: Outside still Alexandria listened intently to the others after having taking the blind leap and introducing herself first. But she was getting a tiny bit fidgety. Something about sitting still, staying in one place always got to her, but she also knew this introductory meeting was necessary. The next of the gathered Alphas to speak up was the girl with short, black hair, Reggie. Lexi couldn’t help but to return the smile that Reggie had given. But one had to be completely oblivious to see the girl was on edge for some reason. "Hi, Reggie," she offered to the girl.
Her attentions were shifted to the blonde girl who offered a ‘nice to meet you’ and promptly replied with her own introduction. Aurelie was her name, and again, she seemed rather friendly. “Likewise, Aurelie,” Alexandria replied as she shifted in her seat a tiny bit. Her gaze shifted down towards the ground when she saw Leo come join the Alpha’s congregation. Odd that he’d come to the introductory meeting, she thought, but maybe he was just taking a vested interest in his new teammates.
Again, Lexi shifted her eyes to Tsukino as she introduced herself and what exactly she could do. A creator of barriers? Very interesting and intriguing. “Hi, Tsukino,” Alexandria said, hoping the barrier creator heard her over all the commotions going on.
Then, her blood ran kind of cold. The silent guy from the lounge, Gideon, had followed them outdoors and what he said in response to her joke was a bit.. ominous. Careful what she wished for? Ugh, why did people always have to be sooooo foreboding? Then, she understood why when the guy flashed a fistful of claw. No, she’d not heard any rumors about anyone, and if she did, she simply did not pay attention at all.
Another guy she didn’t know, (Eli) had joined the group. He must be an Alpha too?, she questioned in her head before listening in on the next person to introduce themselves. Of course, she moved over even more to allow the guy to take a seat.
The shorter, red-haired guy made his own introduction. Rob was his name and he could manipulate fire. Interesting, to say the least. “Hi, Rob,” Lexi said to her new teammate. It was definitely relaxing to say the least, the longer these introductions went on, the less nervous she became. The darker skinned guy finally decided to speak up after quietly following the group to the bleachers. Though his introduction was quite succinct and to the point. Marcel, or so he said his name was, and he was a hydrokinetic. She offered the quiet guy a small ‘Hello’ before she laughed to herself. Just then did she finally realize that it seemed all but one of the elemental bases was covered.
The smile on Lexi’s face didn’t go away at all during these proceedings and if possible, beamed a tiny bit brighter when Bella had given her a gracious look for calming the winds. Though that smile faded slightly when her new leader had echoed the same warning that Gideon did. Another ominous omen as it seemed they were heading on a collision for a Danger Room session. Not that Lexi didn’t like those, but she’d honestly rather just kick around a punching bag or work on her rusting tumbling techniques. Not be cramped inside a stuffy metal room. Besides, she could never really feel the wind upon her skin inside there and that just didn’t sit well with her.
Just like that, ground rules were given for the team. Commlinks on them at all times? Check. Though that was a small adjustment Lexi was going to have to make. Always wearing their uniforms? That’d be fine, as long as she could make her own adjustments to it. And they couldn’t leave the grounds without a friend or two accompanying them? That was fine, she had really wandered off grounds since she’d arrived a few months ago.
In a surprising demonstration of her abilities, Bella had mimicked Wolverine’s voice pitch perfect. It was all Alexandria could do to not bust out laughing heartily. “Thanks for that, Bella,” Lexi said, “Now I won’t get that image out of my head.” She couldn’t help but to chuckle at the thought of Logan and Emma watching ‘Hello Kitty’.
Just like that, their meeting was dismissed and the kids were free to go about their way. And as much as Lexi wanted this to be over and done with, she couldn’t help but to feel a miniscule amount of remorse. She knew when she went back inside or even left the general vicinity, the winds would pick right back up in her absence. But she did have something to do, something that was quite important.
“That sounds like a good idea,” Lexi said to Aurelie as she stood up from the seat she had taken. She didn’t bother to climb over and across all the other bleachers, instead, guiding the currents of air around to her effortless float down to the ground. Gently, her feet hit the soil and she turned back to the group of Alphas.
“It was nice meeting everyone,” she said to the group with a very gracious smile. “Hope to be seeing everyone around.” After she spoke, she let her concentration slip, allowing the winds to pick back up again. It was unfortunate that the storm was brewing overhead and that she needed to move her things to her new room. She wouldn’t have minded taking a few aerial laps around the institute’s grounds to pass the time. Unfortunate for her there was too much for her to do before she could have any semblance of fun.

Alphas Bleachers – Thanks Scott…you made me late. ~~~~~~~~~~ There was a certain casual air to Brayden Callaway as he made his way to the meeting he’d been asked to join by Scott Summers – better known as Cyclops or Boyscout. Of course, this had been after he’d gotten a lecture from good old one-eye on the responsibility of his powers. Which just meant that he was utterly and indiscriminately late for the meeting. With any luck he’d have missed it so he could just blame Summers as to why he didn’t show up on time.
Was it his fault that a girl wanted to see just how potent he could be? (His venom’s potency of course…but his method of deliverance was generally entertaining.) Brayden didn’t think it was - the Boyscout of a headmaster obviously thought differently. Though he wasn’t sure if he was most agitated on the fact that he’d missed two of his classes ‘cause he had better things to do or if it was because he’d made the poor girl faint and miss one of hers. Either way, fact of the matter was that Brayden made himself late for the switch over of the teams that he didn’t know was occurring until…well it had slipped in at some point during Scott’s lecture about personal responsibility.
As he hung into the corner he was turning to get to the bleachers where the alpha team meeting presided over by Isabella the songstress with a kick, he decided it was a very good idea to leak some of his powers out to soften the blow. His powers ebbed out, creating very fine sheen over his skin from the moisture. People in the near by area would smell whatever they found the most appealing scent – kind of like each person getting to pick out their perfume or room scent based on what they instinctually liked the most. It would have been better if they hadn’t been outdoors and had been in a confined space, but beggars can’t be choosers. Of course this was in no way a mental manipulation trick – he just found, and he was certain there was research somewhere that backed it up, that when people really liked what they smelled they weren’t as harsh or cynical about whatever was going on.
“Huh,” Brayden let out as he took a spot on the bleachers, bracing his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands, “Now here I thought they braided each other’s hair as they watched Teletubbies. Go figure.”
Oh yes, he loved being the smart a**.
“Sorry about being late…Mr. Summers held me hostage to one of his responsibility lectures before he told me about the team switch. Which was about,” He looked over to the nearest clock he could find, “ten minutes ago.”
Funny thing was, because he was often late for random things you’d never know that he actually was raised to be extremely time-orientated. And of course Isabella might not know that, so she could just take his lateness to be offensive. The fact that he’d missed her little meeting probably wouldn’t have helped. He’d have tried the “kiss-to-make-it-better” approach but that clawed boyfriend of hers (Gideon) was uptight about anything. Oh the stories that went around the Academy about those two.
Okay, so he admitted it…Brayden was curious about how Gideon himself was going to react to having a scent he found pleasant randomly flood the room. He really did want to watch the metal man do a back flip as he tripped over himself. But, all things considering with his reputation, that was about as likely to happen as Emma Frost going back to the way that genetics and not surgery and make-up meant her to be.
“So what’d I miss?” Everything he was sure which did suck but hey, two periods of free time and a decent kiss were things he wasn’t going to complain about.
Mildly, as people started to leave, he gave them a salutary wave to see them off.

Chameleon
Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Dorm to the food. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia was still in bed, her body curled around a few pillows. It was indeed spring break, the perfect time to have 'aunt flow' in for a visit. A sigh escaped her lips before she forced herself to shift positions. She had found that one comfortable spot, the spot that made the cramping seem to go away, though as she moved it came back full force. Oh how she just wanted to lay there and not move all day, but she couldn't. People would think she was just lazy, though of course that wasn't really her motivation for getting up, no the motivation for that was the temptation of food. With a soft groan she swung her feet off the bed and sat up before grabbing her bottle of pills and slamming back two more, forcing them down without water. When was the last time she had cramps this bad? She couldn't recall.
Daylia forced herself to her feet, feeling like she was dressed well enough to go into public. A pair of loose fitting sweat pants, a bright blue tee and flip flops to match. Quickly she pulled her hair back into a messy bun before adding a head band to keep her bangs out of her face. Hopefully she didn't look as crappy as she felt, but of course she was never really that lucky. She made her way into the hall, wondering what kind of 'fun' would await her today.
The Chameleon made her way to the cafeteria without incident, ignoring most people she had passed on her way there, or at the very least, greeting them with a nod of her head. She made her way through the line, grabbing a few things she felt was necessary, like the chocolate cupcake and the three things of jello, all lemon of course. She had also thrown a hamburger up there as well as a thing of fries, but that wasn't as appetizing as the sweets were. Once out of line she made her way to an empty table, one that was well placed in the corner of the room so that she could watch everyone. Perhaps she was being a bit antisocial, but at the moment she didn't care. All she cared about was that cupcake. ""

Name: Leonardo "Renaissance Man" Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Bleachers Well, Orientation Seems To Be Over… Scatter! Like any normal person, Leonardo perked up when he heard his name being shouted. Turning his torso slightly and turning his head the rest of the way to see who it was, he spotted Eli, the magnetokinetic that he had met before the whole Halloween town mess had gone down. From what Leonardo remembered, Eli had missed the entire ordeal with the goblins, ghouls, and flying killer bats… lucky b*****d. Nodding to the fellow Alpha Leonardo gave a friendly wave, saying, “Hey man!” Other than Bella, Elliot was the first person from the Alphas that Leo had had a full blown conversation with. This orientation was different from the last, though… no one had gotten kicked in the balls. Bella continued to explain what the low-down of being in the Alphas was going to be like, which to Leonardo seemed reasonable. He couldn’t remember how many times he had been woken up in the middle of the night by that horrible witch Nadine Portman to help avert the next national crisis or stop a new mutant from nuking a town. Those were the old days… the S.H.I.E.L.D. days. Besides, Bella was much different from Portman; Portman was cold and calculating, yet Bella was gentle and actually had the ability to laugh. Even though Bella was much younger, Leonardo would pick the songstress’s leadership over the half-faced witch’s any day. Leonardo had to deal with uniforms as well on a daily basis… except he normally just called it his ‘gear’, seeing as how it was merely an outfitting of practical tactical gear modified to suit an unarmed mutant’s needs. “As long as we have real missions and not teleported to another dimension again, I’ll be fine,” Leonardo joked to Bella, sincerely hoping they wouldn’t have to go through another transformation again. When Aurelie said the word “telekinetic”, Leonardo was instantly interested. One of his old teammates was a telekinetic… a fairly powerful one as well. Her name was Kelly, and she had joined S.H.I.E.L.D. soon after Leonardo had. After she joined, they completely abandoned DropSuits for the Mutant Operations and Response Team (MORT). Instead, they used her ability of telekinesis to HALO jump out of airplanes and descend safely to the ground. It seemed Aurelie was a flier was well, and Leonardo briefly wondered if she had ever tried to jump out of an airplane… without a parachute. He doubted it; Scott might have been willing to push his little Corsairs to the limits… but that was a bit extreme. Bella informally announced the meeting as being adjourned, and Leonardo briefly thought as to what he was going to do now. It was Spring Break; he didn’t have any classes, and at the moment he felt too lazy to suit up and hit the Danger Room real quick. Aurelie announced that she was going to go practice, and was quickly followed by Alexandria. Leo saw that Aurelie had briefly glanced over to him, but it was too quick to get any sort of reading. Was it supposed to be some sort of hint? Still, whatever Aurelie and Alexandria were going to do seemed a lot better than the bumming around Leonardo was bound to do if bored. “I think I’ll go with you guys, if you don’t mind,” Leonardo said to Alexandria and Aurelie, standing from his seat on the bleachers and moving his arms from side to side, loosening up the muscles in his shoulders. He looked over to the west; dark clouds were converging on the Mansion. “Looks like a storm’s on its way… better get inside before we get drenched,” Leo stated, stepping down from the bleachers and onto the soft grass.

Adam nodded off to sleep and had a dream, the contents of which are to graphic for the readers here at AX to see, but I can inform you that it involved, his car, potatoes, a ferris wheel, llamas, rubber gloves, cinnamon, whipping cream, hand cuffs, a rocket ship, cows, pie, a latex suit, the smurfs, a kitten, and also featuring several people, including Kate Hudson, Katy Perry, Jason Statham, Olivia Wilde, the guy who played Richy Cunningham on Happy Days, The Buddha, Homer Simpson, Michelangelo from the ninja turtles, and roughly ninety percent of the women attending Xaviors Academy for Gifted youngsters. I'm sure you can piece those things together quite easily with that adult imagination of yours.
We now return you to the confines within the fourth wall.
Adam awoke in his car, looking around all shifty eyed to make sure nobody was around. He wiped the drool from his seat, slimey as always ... he got out of the vehicle and grabbed a chem wipe, going over the affected area with it before tossing it off to the side. He picked up his flight jacket, brown leather with fur trim, more meant for the fall, but his cold blooded body required the warmth within the ice cold air conditioning of the academy, especially in the lower levels. He threw on his sunglasses and walked outside into the sun, the sun beaming down upon his green skin as he walked the short path towards the mansion. In time he arrived at the back door, shoved his keys in his pocket and was about to walk inside when he caught sight of Bella talking to all of the new Alphas. He made his way towards the other students smiling as he thought about the fresh meat. He walked up behind the group and spoke to Bella, saying, "Well well, if it isn't Raggedy Anne (Bella) and Teddy Bruxsman (Gideon) in the flesh. Hows the welcome wagon going?" He hinted at their meeting in the realm of a rather disturbed boys head. He scanned over the new Alphas and instantly locked on to one who was walking away. A beautiful little angel with blond hair (Aurelie) and quoted something from a romance movie he had seen, giving a slight boy. "Enchante mon cher, jusqu'a ce que nous nous reunissions de nouveau." It meant something like goodbye so far as he knew, but he could have been calling her a fat pig for all he knew. He approached the group and said, "Hey new guys. My name is Adam. Most of the guys call me Fink, but you ladies can call me any time you want." He winked at the group and sat next to Gideon. Then he scanned over the rest of the group and leaned in toward Gideon, "Pretty young girls, you keep getting older, they stay the same age." Then he leaned back so he could see Bella's face and said, "So Siren, are we gonna train during the break or is it gonna be all beach parties and bathing suits for us? Because I'm pretty sure if all we're gonna do is make fun of teachers, you may get tossed into detention for the duration of the break, and where does that leave me?" -Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit-

══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇═Flintlocke═⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ Location: Student Lounge Power: Molecular Mimicry Chill out, Reggie. You'r starting to get weird looks. ══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇═Reggie Lambchild═⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ ══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ Reggie forced her to relax. She didn't want to seem like a complete freak to everybody on the first day. She gave a grateful smile to Bella, realizing that she had took attention off of her. Because lying came so naturally to Reggie, she was able to do it with her body language. Her stiff shoulders relaxed and a bit of color came back to her face. She smiled a care-free and content smile. As the introductions continued, she realized that she hadn't told the others her power. She shrugged mentally, they would find out soon enough.
When the red haired boy walked up and introduced himself as Rob, Reggie raised an eyebrow. A fire manipulator would be cool to have on the team. Who knew what cool tricks he could do? She looked around, wondering why there were so many elementals on this team. Was that on purpose. She decided to ask about it later.
Everyone seemed really cool, although some were a bit standoffish. But, that was to be expected.
The rules didn't bother her, she had been expecting things to be strict. Now, if she could bring herself to obey the rules at all times, they'd be in business. She grinned when Bella imitated Wolverine's voice. She knew that her power had to be more than just parlor tricks, but she remained silent. She leaned against the bleachers as everyone talked. When Lexi readied to leave and the winds picked back up, Reggie jumped in surprise. The metal of the bleachers flowed up her arm and she clenched her fist. Metal screeched and Reggie pulled her hand back quickly. The railing now had one beautiful dent in it. Her face turned beet red and she ran her metal hand through her hair, "Uh, sorry. Scared me a bit, Lexi." She looked at her hand, "Well, I guess you all see my power now. It's molecular mimicry."
When Fink walked up and made his introductions, Reggie dropped her hand. The metal began to fade as she decided what she thought of him. After a moment, she decided she wouldn't jump to any conclusions. She smiled at him, about to introduce herself, when he spoke to Bella. His words made her raise an eyebrow, what could she possibly have done? Reggie was interested in what had transpired between these two. Well, three, actually, because he didn't seem to really like Gideon either.

Team Alpha's Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location:Outside but walking back inside with most of the team Tsukino smiled as everyone gave thier introductions and listened to Bella again. She explained that they would be doing different team excercises before actually ever going into the danger room. That was fine for Tsukino because she needed to do some personal Training before going to the danger room with any of them.Bella Introduce herself and explained what she was capable of with her powers. She burst into laughter as she impersonated Wolverine using her sound abilities to change her voice range. That was probably the highlight of the whole meeting. She watched as everyone got up and began to walk back inside.
Alexandria came up to her and said hello to her for the first time."Hello,Alexandria.It's nice to meet you."She was going to ask her about training with her.Because Tsukino needed someone she could rely on in battle who could make up for her lack of a offensive ability while she helped them with defensive skills. She didnt feel up to it yet, then she looked over at Auerlie who had welcomed anyone to come train with her and spoke to Isabella about a music session.Tsukino's eyes gleamed at the prospect. She sang as well and wanted to show her voice to Bella if possible. She walked down the steps carefully but fast so she wouldnt trip in these heels and make a fool of herself. She walked past the one known as Fink.If she was correct he had a frog lke mutation and was the reason his skin was green.Tsukino's favorite color was green, well that and orange, the color of her barriers.
Tsukino caught up to Aurelie and began to speak."Is it alright for me to train with you Aurelie? I'd actually need to train with a few of you so I can know which people to stick with during battle.I need to practice making 'combos' with you guys to make up for my lack of offensive skills. But my defense will be useful to all of you."She said happily to Aurelie, who seemed really Nice and would understand Tsukino's perdicament about her abilities. She looked over at Alexandria and wondered if she would Train with them as well.Tsukino wanted to train just so she would have a reason to wear her uniform as well.
