  Pluto && Nova Nova glanced back to Will with a nod. "I can take care of it afterwards."Pluto didn't have to guess much to figure out what the Scyther was talking about. The Leafeon tried to keep his face from dropping into a worried frown at the thought of Alfred. Worry and stress later, make diplomatic relations now. He tried to hide his surprise at the sudden change in colour Lynne had undergone. He had heard about this trait of the guildmaster, but it was still kind of alarming to see it. He also tried his best to ignore the episode with Solaris. Just when the Espeon seemed have been getting his act together too... "So your position of Guildmaster has also been passed down through the family. Tell me about the history of your guild. While you on the islands seem to know much about us, we have not heard about you until the barrier broke. I would love to learn more about our future allies."   Melissa && Katara && RandelRandel lit up at the last comment. "I would love ta! I haven't explored the waters of the mainland yet, and I wouldn't wish ta see it more with anyone else." He told Sereni excitedly. "I'd love ta show ya around the islands too. We have some lovely waters here."Melissa took the compliment graciously with a smile and a thank-you, and a bit of a twinkle in her eyes. She definitely saw the blush that time, and Melissa thought to herself that the two of them would make a great couple. Not that Randel seemed to know what he was doing at all, but that made it all the more adorable, especially since, as far as Mel could tell, the excitement and praise was all genuine. Katara inclined her head as her own thank-you, and then finally looked down to see the delicate pink petal's stark contrast against her shiny steel armour. Melissa decided to sit back with Katara and keep silent, happy to watch how the encounter between Randel and Sereni ends up. Katara is just being completely clueless.   Chronicler && CrownBoth Crown and Chronicler waited patiently through Luna's talking. Both knew how to interpret a child's words, and both knew better than to interrupt. Crown was more than pleased when a Mismagius showed up to claim the Mudkip. Good, they wouldn't have to try and find the little one's guardians. "Oh no, it was our pleasure. Luna's such a good girl, it was great to meet her." Crown directed the last bit more towards the mudkip than the Ghost-type, her voice adopting the tone one used when talking to small children. "Good to meet you too Geisha." Chronicler replied to the ghost-type with a small curtsy. "We're from Team Polaris." She declared proudly. Even if she and Crown never did the missions, bounties, or really any of the fighting-oriented jobs of a Rescue Team, they were still essential to keeping Polaris together. She was rather proud to have seen the Team grow from its very beginnings all the way into one of the few Champion-Ranked teams in the guild.    Aiden && Rebecca && ChristopherChris considered what Ethfael said and nodded in agreement. "I've never been down into the reefs, but I have spent time around the beach there. Beautiful place." At the mention of manaphy he let out a chuckle. "Ah, him. I've heard stories about Manaphy. Really helped the guild out of a fiasco huh? It's one of the joys of exploring. You never realize how many different kinds of Pokemon, even within species, within -families!- there are until you meet them."He chuckled slightly as if he was reminded of something funny. Different indeed.Aiden politely took the sword with his hand, examining it. "You made it yourself? The blade as well?" Aiden asked. "That's amazing. I don't know much about swordsmithing myself, but it must have taken you years to learn it."He handed it back. "Seems like we two have much the same problem. I always thought I could block every strike my way if I use my natural blades. They weren't much use when I was caught off guard though." Aiden once again drew both his hands back to clasp them behind his back. It was habit he had gotten into. "Beka here is teaching me how to handle steel, though I'm afraid I'm not picking it up as fast as I'd like to.""Maybe if you'd stop jumping and dodging like a nervous spoink and actually face me head on.' Rebecca retorted. Aiden chuckled good-naturedly. "Ah, but if I'd get hit by that cleaver you call a sword, I'd never get up again." And it was true enough. Rebecca was strong, was very good with her sword though she'd had some adjusting to do since her evolution, and a very straightforward fighter. Grovyles weren't exactly very sturdy, tough creatures.

Her attention was drawn to the blade that Aiden and Beka were examining and she felt a pang of sadness. The Pikachu hadn't given much thought to the blade on Beka's back, nor the one the Lucario who had introduced herself as Jessica carried, but now that the others were discussing them, she found her eyes drawn involuntarily to the swords. She hated the sight of them, her very self was repelled by the swords. Swords weren't like Pokemon attacks. They were a sign that you intended to kill enemies, not just deal with them for the moment. It made her feel a little sick that such pleasant Pokemon could actually be able to kill so many in cold blood like that. She knew of course, that they weren't the only ones, that even Tolin did the same, but it never really sat well with her to think about. Of course, she could be misinterpreting things, perhaps they only used the weapons in the worst cases, but she couldn't be certain. "Do you fight with weapons often?" Era asked Chris, the question seemingly out of nowhere. Her voice didn't quaver and her gaze merely looked far away as if she was seeing something else. She wasn't afraid of the answer, but she needed to know.
Ethfael was once again surprised by Era, this time because she was asking about the weapons. He had had his eye on them for a while, admiring their making. He was intrigued by the idea of using actual weapons in a fight. It would be a useful thing to have at one's disposal in his opinion. Something to be used alongside your natural powers in combat seemed like a practical idea. "They must be quite useful in difficult fights..." he added in thoughtfully, eyes on them once more.
Sereni smiled a bit nervously at his excitement, but for the most part it was a smile of happiness. She'd never invited anyone to do anything with her, not alone, and especially not...well a guy. His excitement was reassuring though, encouraging her to not clam up in embarrassment, although his seemingly constant stream of flattering remarks made it difficult for her. Through her now far too prominent blush she managed to get keep the conversation going. "That sounds lovely..." she said to him, "I don't know much about the waters around here, but I'm sure they're very beautiful. And I, well I'd love to take a swim with you." She smiled a bit, looking at him a bit uncertainly, having never really done this before. Her light was pulsing very softly and quickly, in time with the rapid beating of her heart.
Riley laughed a bit at Neo's eagerness, "Well I'll tell you that once I've finished showing the trick to you, shall I?" he replied to the Riolu's comment. When they both told him it was not their card he smiled and once more passed the deck around behind his back with a twirl, since Eevee can't naturally do that, he had to make do. Then he shuffled the cards again, to prove that he hadn't stacked the deck or anything, and then began to look through it. "Let's see..." he murmured, eyes skimming the cards quickly from lots of practice. "This card was yours," he said to the Totodile, handing the boy the Five of Spades, "And this one was yours," he said to Alice, handing her the Four of Diamonds. A grin sprang readily to his face as normal and he said, "...And that's the trick. Now I'll teach it to you if you'd like." The second part was added mostly for the benefit of the Pokemon who'd just arrived, the others already were in agreement with the proposal. With the flick of a paw his deck of cards vanished, including those held by his two volunteers. "Alright, everybody pick up your deck of cards, and I'll explain how it works." With a wink at the Totodile he handed the boy a pack produced from who know where, and a second for the Pidgey beside him, although it might be a little difficult with wings he didn't want to leave anyone out."Rather well thank you," Maestro returned smoothly to Lia's question before Tris could jump in. "We haven't been about the palace much I'm afraid, Tris brought us here immediately after they confirmed us as a Team so we haven't even seen our own Team Room yet." The statement was accompanied by a slight glance at the Ditto, who merely laughed at his partner's serious attitude. "Being associated with the Eclipse family must be very trying at times," he said to Lia, "And one associated with those who associate themselves with the Eclipse family makes one rather improtant I would say." The latter comment was directed to William; Maestro was quite astute, having already deduced that William's Team must in fact be of a higher rank, dispite the Togekiss not mentioning anything in that regard.
"He's always like this I'm afraid," Tris said cheerfully, "But every once in a while he'll lighten up a bit, definitely something worth seeing." Maestro rolled his eyes, eliciting yet another laugh from Tris, "Anyways, you two both are very nice, regardless of what rank you might have." Tris's eyes danced merrily as he looked about at the sights around them, "This party is great, isn't it?"

  xx xx x x  Epitaph --- Saileithe --- Alice -- Ver --- Taciturn -- DariusSai responded to the attention with a soft, ongoing purr like the feline she was. She listened carefully, though her eyes traveled elsewhere. They were stuck on her mother. "Sounds good." She replied simply before going silent for a few seconds. Sai finally took a breath and shut her eyes; breaking the visual she had on the large Flareon then turned her head up to look at Lucy. "Alright. Let's 'dance'. Not like I plan on doing much else. " The wonders of being a quadruped. She sighed and hopped off of Lucy's lap, allowing her to stand.
"It's nice to meet you, Zorora." Alice replied cheerfully while watching Riley carefully after rejecting his answer as to either of their cards. The Ralts almost got worried-- thinking Marcus might have lied and her focus scattered before finally reeling her attention back to the Eevee as he showed them their actual cards.
Alice stood dumbstruck for a moment; unable to make sense of it, but ended up just smiling brightly and giggling.
In response to Riley showing them how to do such a trick, Alice sat down on the ground and watched him carefully. Taciturn finally peered back up next to Alice and glanced at all the new Pokemon. She seemed to calm down quite some bit and waiting patiently as to what was going to happen next while just watching over Alice's own deck.
Ver remained to himself at a far wall. The Flareon was slowly dozing off before a voice addressing him made his head fly up from the ground.
"Thought you were that... plant for a moment again..." Ver sighed quietly as the Zangoose rested his back against the wall and slid down it into a sit next to the Flareon. "Is my voice really that high?" Needless to say Darius' voice wasn't feminine at all. The pitch of the matter was just that this 'plant' was obviously going to be female given the Flareon had spoken to it.
"You're funny." Ver looked away, watching the party again. "Didn't think you were comin', why so late?" Darius shrugged. "Dunno. Bored I guess." The two went quiet and Darius' eyes traveled to Epitaph and Solaris.
"Is she still--"
"Yeah."
"I see."

Melissa && Katara && Randel Melissa struck up a rather one-sided discussion with Katara. Randel nodded enthusiastically. "I can show ya around right after the festival." He said excitedly, briefly wondering why Melissa had cut off from the conversation. "Since we're already here and all..."He stopped as he turned to look at the large Gracidea flower. "Actually, I think the festival's over soon, it should be any second now."Aiden && Rebecca && Christopher Christopher paused at Era's question, trying to figure out what her motive had been behind the sudden question. He nodded at Ethfael's comment. "Beka is the one who uses her sword all the time. She never picked up hand-to-hand combat very well. As to myself, well, I always prefer to depend on my own natural skills but from time to time, you're very glad that you have something to block an attack with that's not your own flesh." Chris, who wasn't nearly as tactful as Aiden, patted the morningstar on his back. (A Morningstar is a spiked mace.) "She's saved my life quite a number of times." It was clear he was referring to the weapon.

      Solaris---Moonfall---Ivy---Diane---Zachary---Genesis Solaris sat up and glanced to the Joltik that squirmed about in Epitaph's grasp. The tiny spider squeaked in displeasure. He'd only wanted to say hello! The Espeon frowned but shook his fur out and stepped from the fountain with his tail curled under his stomach in embarassment. Oh, damn. Why'd he do such a thing. His shame was not long-lasting, as he turned to the center of the room where the great Gracedia flower had begun to emit a bright glow and unfurl it's petals even further. The Espeon's eyes grew wide as he watched a small sprout appear in the center of the plant and slowly begin to stretch upward and grow. In moments it had gone from tiny plant to a massive tree and it's branches stretched out over the room, tiny white flowers blossuming amongst the green leaves. "What is...""It's the Tree of Life." A voice explained, and he turned to see Diane trot back into the room with a...plastic...raincoat on... Oops. The Purrloin ignored his apologetic smile in favor of looking to the tree with a sparkle in her eyes. "It only blooms in the spring, each year it bears five pieces of fruit. No more, no less. This is the fruit that we use to make the Audion's Grace tonic. Each fruit can only give us one potion and the making of it is a well-guarded secret only Will knows. It's handed down from teacher to student..."Solaris eyed the tree as a small group of pink and white Pokemon scurried forward to collect the fruit. He turned back to Epitaph and returned to sit back at her side and watch the ending of the festival. Ivy turned sharply away from her friend and Rem to watch the plant open and she immediately turned back with a broad smile. "Look! Look at it! Isn't it lovely?" "It certainly is..." Lynne's moment in the spotlight was slowly waning as he began to feel constricted by all the interest in him. Fortunately it seemed that the ceremony was closing up soon enough with the reappearance of his teammate. Things, despite all the instances of utter horror mainly with Zachy, went a lot better than he originally anticipated; in fact, so smoothly that time swept by with ease.
The botanical Pokemon before him having ended his own line of questioning for the moment it seemed, he was back to being spoken to by the quadruped guildmaster that he was beginning to now idolized ever so slightly more.
"Well, as far as I know, we arrived into existance around the same time..."
He paused a moment to recall the rest of the story and let out a hoarse cough.
"...But Arceus separated our lands and since then on we just always felt it best to leave it that way, respecting what has been decreed upon us until we found ourselves in need of your help. The guild itself was established by my great-grandfather and passed through the male population of my family ever since; our teams having the same purpose of keeping order as yours."
There were obviously some in-depth details left out by the Deerling. He was well educated on the topic of his homeland's history by the best teachers available but one could not expect him to pay all that much attention by nature.

Mikhail requested lightly of the Weavile at his side, now trying his best to tone down the conversation to something less tense.

Era & Ethfael & Sereni & Riley Riley explained the trick slowly for all of the kids to understand, showing how it worked. After the participant in the trick returned their card to the top of the deck, the magician had to turn that card over as he brought the deck behind his back without the audience noticing. "It takes some practice to do that really fast," he told them, "But once you have it down, it's really easy." Then he showed them how, because of the flipping of the card, when the magician flipped the bottom of the deck up it was no special card, but it allowed the magician to see what card the audience member really chose. "Once you know that, you just have to pass it behind you back again, and turn the card back over. Then you shuffle through the cards and find the one that you saw before. That's the magic behind this one." He smiled at those around him, pleased with how delighted they had seemed to be; it was his pleasure to do things for the kids, they made the best audiences sometimes.
As he was about to pull out another trick from his repertoire so that they wouldn't bore, Riley froze, noticing the light that was coming from behind him, and turning to face the Gracedia flower as its petals began to spread. In awe he took a step back as the sprout that appeared in its center grew to a huge tree, canopying the entire room with the lovely little white flowers of the tree in bloom. "Wow..." he said in amazement, eyes shining, "That's amazing..." The tree in itself was true magic, the magic of nature, unlike he'd ever seen it before. His thoughts were drawn to his mother who had long since passed away; she would have loved to see it. He looked at the tree intently, although it was silly he felt he could almost sense her presence there. He blinked to keep the tears from his eyes, the memory too over powering. Wouldn't you have loved to see this...
"Afterwards?" Sereni said, a little startled by how sudden it was, but it did make sense, "Oh, alright, that sounds fine. I'll just have to let one of my Teammates know so the others don't worry about me." She looked around a little distractedly, not able to find any one of them before she caught Randel's remark about the end of the festival.
She looked back at him, and as Sereni's eyes followed Randel's gaze to the Gracedia, she was just in time to watch the magnificent conclusion to the fesival as the tree burst forth from the flower, covering the ceiling of the area in multiple flowers from the tree itself. "It's so beautiful!" she breathed, looking up at it with delight. The spectacle had only lasted a few moments, but it was more beautiful than anything Sereni had ever seen on land before. "What a wonderful way to mark the coming of spring!" She smiled contentedly, feeling that the festival had been very much worth coming to. "Does it change every season?" she asked Randel curiously, "Or is it just springtime?" Yes, maybe she was embarrassed and stalling a little bit, but she was curious too.
Era mutely nodded, her thoughts still troubled. Just because they used them didn't mean that they were cold-blooded killers. Chris had just said that his own weapon had saved his life multiple times, so maybe they were more for self defense. And using weapons offensively didn't always have to mean killing needlessly, right? By drawing enough blood with one you could knock a foe unconscious or maybe even just hitting them hard enough with a blunt side. It didn't mean that they killed off innocent Pokemon who came astray of them necessarily, it couldn't! Era was very peaceful by nature, even a harsh battle against an enemy trying to kill her made her unhappy. The few who she had killed she regretted the loss of life, and it would have haunted her terribly if she weren't able to assure herself that it was for a good cause and saved countless other lives. The very idea of disregarding any life was atrocious to her, but she could believe them to be bad people, knew that they weren't bad.
Ethfael took over the conversation in Era's place knowing that this wasn't quite her comfort zone. "I'm certain it's been very useful," he returned, "Both defense and offense would have more options with a weapon. An extra piece at your disposal to help you out when things turn against you." He knew that this wasn't going anywhere that Era would care to hear, but there wasn't really much else one could say, luckily, both were saved by the blooming of the Gracedia. The glow caught their eye and both turned to witness the majestic blossom that created the tree. "My my," Ethfael said, "I've never seen anything like that before."
"It's wonderful!" Era said, grabbing onto the distraction immediately, "Look at all the flowers!" The whole room seemed to be wreathed in them, it was really a sight to be seen. "Have you ever seen something like that before?" she said to the group as a whole. ((Not my ending post so I'm not claiming anything yet))

"Whoa..." Anastasia mused as a tendril from the center of the plant grew upward, sprouting branches in the matter of seconds that reached around the room and finally budded and blossemed small flowers, giving the room a beautiful look. Reginald, eyes still glazed, unconsciously lifted a paw and shut Desdemona's jaw which she had no idea was gaping wide open in shock and awe.
"It's beautiful." Desdemona said, smiling and laughing. It was amazing, how the plant grew before their eyes from a really small plant to a gigantic tree that crowded the room. The three stood in silence, just looking at the tree before they realized that the party was over.
"Shall we go?" Reginald smirked, motioning toward the way back home.
"Okay. That was fun; I'm glad we came." Anastasia laughed. Before the goup left, Desdemona noticed a table lined with goody-bags of different colors. She randomly took a pink colored one and followed the other two back home.((Taking a pink giftbag :3, no recruit. I'll try to strike up a conversation with someone next time [guess I'm too shy -_-"])) Edit: Luvdisc Egg!

Max intently practiced the flipping technique that Riley demonstrated. His tongue stuck out as he concentrated. Neo, meanwhile, seemed to be practicing his game of fifty-two card pickup.
It was then they noticed the tree. Both of them turned, as fascinated by the plant as Riley. The sudden sprouting and beautiful bloom had even driven the normally talkative Neo into reverent silence. It was during that time that Duke, the Pawniard, slipped away. He didn't feel this was the right team for him.
"That's amazing..."
"Yeah..."
((I had 6 really crappy posts. But I didn't feel like Duke had the sort of attitude the team was looking for. Maybe next time I'll have some better ideas. And more time to right them. I apologize to those of you who opted to try to work with my posts. I had a hugetastic paper for science I needed to work on. Not claiming reward yet either.))

"People are the same everywhere, they say." It was a reassuring comment directed at the young Deerling... he was so terribly naive. It would be difficult for him in the times to come.
At least the Second and Third seemed to have things under control.
"Ah... How wonderful."
The sprout popped up and in mere moments took control of the room, drawing in the attention of each and every pokemon within. It was a beautiful sight; the small, white flowers dotted the canvas of green. The slight rustling and the subtle hustle as the crowd of Audino set to harvesting it's yield.
She leaned lightly against her husband with a smile. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"Ah... Beautiful this year, as always." The Braviary forgot himself, for just a moment, as he did every time. The passing of a single moment had his composure return, and with a quick glance back at the assembled group he dismissed himself. "Excuse me for the time being. I must see that the fruit is properly handled and preserved. The slightest mistake may destroy the fruit or ruin the draught. Miss Nova, please return in an hour."

It looks nice.
"I can tell. It's a wonderful scent." If maybe a little overpowering... It really was rather strong, at least for her. It was nice all the same, though.
"It's fine once you get used to it."
"My name's Laura. This is Albus." Polite introductions were first, of course. One could converse after knowing who they were conversing with.
Unfortunately, any semblance of a conversation faded when the sapling in the center began to burst. "How wonderful..." The eyes of the room turned towards it, and just as quickly the excitement settled.
"Does that happen every year?"
"No, it's just simple work. It's never difficult to be a maid, only time-consuming." Most of her work came down to helping with the delivery of paperwork, making tea and some general cleanliness. Though she didn't do much of that, since there was staff that meticulously covered the entire building to make sure it maintained sanitary status. Pluto's health was taken seriously.
"Oh no, hardly." The Togekiss quickly retreated from the notion. His association with Tolin had become somewhat trying. "We're just friends."
William took the Pachirisu's comment as a welcome chance to change the topic. "Yes, it's a wonderful party. I can't imagine how they put it together four times a year; it must be trying for whoever organizes it."
"I can imagine it must be. After helping with some of the activities back in the Guild of the Sun... Something like this must be quite difficult."
The tree burst forth, pretty flowers, looked nice, etc. etc.
"Oh, my. How beautiful."
"Ah..." Serrin's mind chased back, to something far below the surface. A similar event... something centuries past. "...That's probably gone by now, though, isn't it...?"
"H-oh~..." Sam observed the tree as it grew and each flower burst open in good time. Rather than be entranced by the beauty, however, it was the science that called to him. "I wonder how it contains the energy necessary for such massive growth..."
 
Marcus & Zephyr
"Th... That's so cool!" Marcus was shocked and impressed to find that the card picked had, in fact, been the correct one. He was eager to learn the trick, and although he fumbled through it, he managed to pull it off. Though, with the speed of his clumsy hands, it was rather obvious. He was hardly a magician.
Zephyr merely looked at his wings, then at the deck, then back at his wings and shrugged apologetically.
"Thanks! Where'd you learn all of these tricks? Did someone teach you?"
Both of them looked over at the tree, their comments identical to one another.

"I-I'd like to leave... We shouldn't have come..." She said softly.
All she had shown by coming was that she wasn't fit to be doing anything public.
Lucy smiled a little, watching the tree bloom.
"C'mon, let's celebrate~"
She scooped the Glaceon up, cradling her as the Weavile began to step and sway to a little tune she hummed herself.
It was a modest moment, but sometimes the smallest moments can be the most romantic.
Tammet was staring at Sam's feet before turning and watching the tree.
"... Are trees allowed to do that?" He questioned, pulling up his drooping pants.
There wasn't anything mathematic about the situation, so he was baffled.
"Well, I'll tell you your problem!" Jessica explained as she took her blade back and sheathed it.
"You seem like a swift guy. What you need are small blades, things you can strike with fast and deadly! Like this little contraption I made..."
She lifted her left arm, slapping the top of the brace she had on it.
Out from the slot in it came a small, thin blade.
"Perfect for a stealthy attack, or..."
She pulled a throwing knife from the strap on her leg.
"A long range weapon!"
Arizona was simply wowed by the spectacle of the tree.
Then again, she'd be wowed by paint drying.

Pluto && Nova Pluto's attention was taken by the blooming of the flowers like everyone else. Diane wasn't exactly near, but the Leafeon seemed to hear her words so clearly. He had heard about the Audeino's grace of course. Another cure-all that could do nothing for him but temporary relief. He turned back to Lynne and Will with a slight bow. "I thank you for the hospitality you have shown my guild. Know that you will always be welcome within the halls of the Mainland, and we look eagerly for a visit." Not that there was much to show off what with all the demigods destroying the place on a regular basis. Melissa && Katara && Randel Melissa didn't find herself nearly as impressed as most of the mainlanders. It was definitely...pretty, with a mystic aura that Pokemon are naturally drawn to, but she just couldn't bring herself to be wowed like the others. Katara on the other hand, was staring up at the flowers, mesmerized. "Just t'Spring. And see the fruits the Audinos there are gettin'? We make a magical potion from them that can cure any injuries. It's saved quite a few lives in the guild.""Me and Kat'll go back to the guild then." Melissa interupted, one of her vines drawing something out of her bag. It was a badge engraved with the symbol of Team Azalea, their Explorer's badge. She handed it to Randel. "Just in case if you don't want to swim all the way back to the mainland and then walk overland to the castle." Melissa wondered if the Tirtouga had even considered this. "Thank you Mel." Randel nodded happily, slipping the badge around his neck. Chronicler && Crown "Oh my, if that isn't a pretty sight." Crown commented, her eyes shining. "Mmhmm." Chronicler noted absently, hardly hearing what the Butterfree had said as she was busy trying to draw the scene in her notebook before it faded from her memory. Crown turned back to Geisha and Luna with a bow. "It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope we'll cross paths again."Aiden && Rebecca && Christopher "I reckon it's one of the prettier things I've seen." Chris admitted, looking back down from the sight of the tree. Aiden nodded at Jessica's words. xxxxxx Epitaph --- Saileithe --- Alice -- Ver --- Taciturn -- DariusVer and Darius stared for a moment before standing and returning to the portal. It was nice, but it wasn't really mesmerizing enough for them to plan on staying.
Epitaph placed the Joltik back on the ground and smiled down at it as Solaris approached. She finally looked back at him as he sat beside her.
"It just wanted to say hello." Epitaph smiled. "The flower... It's nice, isn't it?" She leaned off to the side slightly, as if foreshadowing something bad happening if she nudged the Espeon again.
Sai sat staring at the tree dumbfounded. She finally jumped slightly as Lucy lifted her up and the Glaceon went red. When Sai finally relaxed, she smiled and rested her head on Lucy's shoulder.
Alice smiled up at the flower before turning her attention back down. Her expression quickly changed to confusion as she stood and walked over to Riley, placing her small, white hand on the Eevee's leg. "Are you okay?" She smiled weakly.((Uuuuhh, pressureee ;_; White!)) Edit: Litwick Egg!

Era & Ethfael & Riley & Sereni Era nodded in concise agreement with Chris' statement, it really was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen. The Pikachu remained enraptured by it until her partner tapped her lightly on the shoulder. "The festival is over Era," Ethfael informed her, nodding towards the Teams who were making their ways out already, "We should probably collect the others and leave as well." He didn't want to ruin her enjoyment, but now that the party was over, there were, as always, things to be done.
"Ah right, we should be going, shouldn't we?" Era said a bit sheepishly. She turned to the three members of Team Trinity with a last smile, "It was great to meet all of you, maybe our paths will cross again some day." The Pikachu gave them one more friendly nod as Ethfael began to walk off, "Until then."
Riley was surprised to feel a gentle touch on his side and turned to find the Ralts, Alice, standing there. "I'm fine," he said, with a bit less spirit than usual, but still not quite half-heartedly, "It just made me think of something I hadn't thought about in a while." He smiled slightly, "I'll be alright, don't you worry." Spotting Era and Ethfael out of the corner of his eye, Riley turned back to the kids. "I'll see you all around," he said, and quickly hurried off to catch up with the others.
Sereni smiled thoughtfully, watching the Audino all hurry up the newly grown tree to retrieve the fruit. "That must be very useful to have," she murmured offhandedly, watching a few seconds more before Melissa interrupted. The Bulbasaur and the Skarmory would be leaving and that meant that she and Randel would be... Sereni's blush crept back slightly as she turned to spot her Team Leaders heading towards her.
"Who's your friend Sereni?" Era greeted her.
"This is Randel, he and I made some plans for after the festival if that's alright," Sereni told her, wondering what they would think.
Era looked puzzled for just a moment before a look of comprehension and a slight gleam of something else came into her eye. "Ah, well then, that's fine. I've sure you'll have a great time. Nice to meet you Randel." And with that, Sereni was left alone with her escort, feeling nervous but exhilarated at once."Well, if you say so," Maestro replied, his expression masked. He was rather suspicious sometimes, but he at least believed he had every right to be. He continued with the conversation though, the tree blossoming speeding up that process. "It is quite beautiful, isn't it?" he was thoroughly underwhelmed having seen it before, but he pretended to be occupied by it well enough.
"Wow! Would you look at those flowers!" Tris said excitedly, beaming up at the tree with almost childish delight, "It's like a miracle that something so lovely and huge could come out of something so small!"

Neo and Max may have been younger than most. But they weren't idiots. And they were both emotion-sensing Pokemon, in one form or another. So they knew Riley was holding something back. They chose not to press the issue, however, because they didn't want to embarass the Eevee. Grabbing one of the gift bags the Guild of Seasons had offered and thanking some of the host-guilds' members, the two small Pokemon made their way back through the portal.
