HayateHikari
Division 11
Taicho

"Don't assume that just because I'm nice..."

As Hayate took cover, he watched as everyone else made their moves with interest. Not being skilled in Kido in any way, he was hardly any use in attempting to block a massive cero such as that. Meanwhile, Dai and Shizuka both utilized their Bankais to block the incoming beams. Their attempts were admirable, making Hayate feel as though he were worthless. Being a purely physical fighter, the only person he could protect was himself, and he could hardly so that against beams of any kind.

The former 6th captain seemed nearly invincible to Hayate. He fought off the assault of two different captains without hardly batting an eyelash. Now he hung from the remaining part of the ceiling, resuming his watching position. It was him that had led the husks to them. Maybe if he was taken out, the husks would retreat...? It was a long shot, but Hayate's best work was done when he was put in desperate situations. As he stepped from his cover, Makaru's announcement echoed through his head, getting louder each time.

"Dyan Arashi is a Vizard, He is a traitor to the Soul Society."

The words hit Hayate like a ton of bricks. A traitor in their midst? Why hadn't he sniffed him out sooner? Though the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. It was still hard to take in. He was the one that invited all of this senseless destruction into their home? He had to die. If not by his hands, then by execution. But he was going to pay. And Hayate wanted the first chance. Now that Judge Ayaeda had taken care of the husks for him (In very bloody fashion), it would seem as though there was a clean shot between him and his target. He stepped out into the open, his damaged paws clenched into painful fists as they dragged behind him. Like the loyal soldier he was, he anxiously awaited the order from Takashi to finish off the disgusting fiend.

"...that I'll keep giving you second chances."

Dyan rubbed his hand along the wall as he began getting the feeling back, and his head had now been shaken back. Dyan now walked around the corner and looked at disarray at the husk attacking Husk and remembered the strike. Dyan stood straight and now was at 100% better and eyed the battle. A man now hit the roof and dodged the attack of the captain commander. Soon the captain commander soon made the assumption that Dyan was supposedly a traiter and let in the Husk.... Now the death of the Husk was almost silent as the zanpakuto sliced through each of them. Now the assumption was guided widely as the Judge made the same assumption too.

" What are you assuming...", said Dyan as he looked oddly.

Dyan took a few steps back and realized the seriousness of the situation. Dyan looked at the other man as assuming we worked together. The death penalty was on the line and Dyan wasn't the type to die easily.

" if you believe that, then fine. Pass through. Kurosuki "

User Image

The scythe rose in darkness energy that showed and resonated. Dyan stood straight and put the guard higher as the judge finished her speech. The room was as if all eyes was glaring at Dyan and kazei, who apparently was also a vizard.

Koga Tensei - 6th Division Captain

Although it was faint, he did manage to hear a thank you from Kira another predecessor of his. The thank dealt with the taking over of her squad and with that he nodded in repsonse. However it was then that the announcement came out. And what a revealing announcement indeed.

Dyan Arashi is a vizard, he is a traitor to Soul Society. He's the one responsible for opening the Senkaimon gate for the Husks and Kazei, betrayer of Soul Society.

With that their targets were all named. The Husks, Dyan and Kazei. But when the multiple cero were about to be fired, Koga noticed something miniscule though it happened very fast. No regular attack at best could do that which meant that a Shikai or Bankai had been activated in that second. Looking to his left he noticed one of the oldest most respected Shinigami within the Soul Society. Ayaeda Sarutsuchi. No doubt the Husks had been defeated by her. This simply left the matter of purging the Soul Society of both Dyan and Kazei. Usually Koga was not one to jump to conclusions, but Ayaeda Sarutsuchi, as well as the 12th Divison Captain had reaffirmed the situation at hand.

To make matters worse for Dyan, he did not even attempt at speaking in defense for himself. Regardless of whether or not it would fall on deaf ears. Instead he took it upon himself to transform as if ready to engage a battle against all of the Captains in the room.
" Though the battle does not favor you at all Dyan, the smart thing to do at this point in time now would have been to surrender. With your transformation, you make it out as if you wish to actually engage each of us in a fight..Which if I might add would not be wise on your part given your level of expierence to ours." spoke Koga looking directly at the boy now. Indeed Koga did hope the boy had some sort of common sense to stop what he was doing. Did he truly believe that simply because another visard was among them that they would work together? Let alone that his predecessor would even acknowledge him?

Kiyoshi glared at the woman who had approached him with praises. Was she trying to be nice to him? She better not. He hated people with ulterior motives and those were usually what pushed others to be 'nice'. "The day I stop using my head will be the prologue to my demise," he shot back, knowing that said prologue had already unfolded the day he had agreed to let a certain sadistic b*****d be his third seat. "I couldn't care less if that fool died. I'm only surprised that someone of your rank had chosen to waste precious time on a dead man."

However, as Kiyoshi looked back at where the lieutenant had been dumped, he noticed that his prediction had been wrong. Things seem to slow down as Dyan rose, hollow mask crumbling. He numbly registered the Head Commander releasing his spiritual pressure so focused he was on the emerging Vizard. He snapped out of his trance quickly and sneered at the one now branded a traitor. Smart one. No one had doubted him one second. The captain of the second division tightened his grip around the last remaining ring he had in his wounded left hand, having felt one of them split in half earlier under Kazei's blade. "Hado #54, Haien," he growled, willing his scythe to shrink back to the size of a glowing sickle.

At that moment, a voice broke through the sudden silence that had settled in and as he looked back, he was met with the husks' gory remains and Sarusuchi, a judge of Central 46. The sight of her sparked an old grudge, but on the bright side, she had ordered the execution of the traitors. With an almost too cheerful toss, Kiyoshi sent the ring he had been holding into the air a few feet before him before swinging his elongating Bankai. He smirked in satisfaction when the curved tip hooked into the ring, pulling it along in in twirling motion. He had to act fast as Tekidanhei had finished warming up and it wouldn't be long before it melted the ring, but the same could be said to anything that touched his scythe with a melting point below that of steel. "Too naive. You heard the hag. We are not to detain him. We are to execute him." The ex-lieutenant looked determined to resist so Kiyoshi felt no remorse when he swung his scythe. His zanpakuto grew once more to reach its target, cutting through the air from Dyan's left, ring firmly lodged around the searing blade. As his attack was about to land, Kiyoshi released the spells he had stored and scattered on the battlefield. Three Haien spells exploded simultaneously, two of which cleared whatever was still left standing of the White Castle and the third at the tip of his scythe.

User ImageOroshi walks to the battle ground picks up his zanpaktou and begins to walk away from the arguing leaving the others to bicker about the Vizard. As he walks away he shouts back,
"Arguing only makes you look old." He walks over the back of the white castle and hops down to the soul society below to head to his barracks to look for his lieutenant. Wandering he looks at the sky and his cloud envy begins to grow.
If only I could float along like a cloud. He thought to himself as he continued away from the conflict. As he feels spiritual pressure building up rapidly behind him by the new Vizard was born he quickly flash steps back to see the events unfold he, shouted down to the crowd.
"Don't kill him he is still innocent. How can you condemn someone by what was beyond his control? Aren't we about to go to war? Shouldn't we befriend those with great powers?" All his yelling was to save the soul of this poor boy only if to help the soul society. As he shouted he again flash stepped closer and shouted,
"Bakudou: Hachi-jyu-ichi: Danku" Sending up a barrier between the attack and the young soul reaper turned hollow.
"This person is a free man. Let him decide his own fate exile or death but first lets see if they will join us in the upcoming war."

"Don't assume that just because I'm nice..."

Hayate listened to Koga as he approached and attempt to talk him out of a losing battle. It wasn't the solution that he wanted to take, but if he was subdued, that was all that mattered. With a reaffirming nod, he took a threatening step forward and yanked his paws, letting them now rest in front of him, showing that he was ready to bring the pain if Dyan didn't use some sense. But before they could get a response from him, Kiyoshi seemed to want to take the non-diplomatic approach that Hayate originally wanted to take. As he brought his scythe down to swipe at Dyan...nothing happened to him. He was completely unharmed. It was then that he noticed the barrier that Oroshi had erected to protect the new Vizard.

"Get out of the way, Oroshi. You know the laws. He's a Vizard. Innocent or not, the judge has already given the order. He decided his fate when he walked onto the battlefield like some kind of hotshot. Now let us finish him!

Hayate shouted anxiously, hands and paws trembling with anticipation. Oroshi had now become an unnecessary road block in the struggle for peace. He was defending a rule breaker! A Vizard, no less! Justice needed to be served, and it almost seemed like Oroshi didn't quite understand that concept.

"...that I'll keep giving you second chances."

User Image"I refuse. I won't move until he is given a fair trial. Also what about the war he is still a lieutenant and would be willing to fight with us in the coming battle. Why would you 'smart' men and women be willing to throw away such a powerful ally, if the enemies can enter the soul society so easily, it would be best to get as many Vizards on our side. As one who understands that the world need balance so do we if we as a culture wish to survive." The man looks at the other captains with a stern look of disbelief as if they are breaking themselves to try and murder someone even though moments ago they were debating to ask the same race to join them in the war.
"You of all people seem to have forgotten that Vizards can think and more over are sentient. Self aware. Which means they can do good. Or evil." He stands infront of the other captains and looks at them,
"I refuse to watch a coldblooded murder in broad daylight." He stares at the judge of the central Forty-six.

".......Erase their faces; Erase their names....."

(( Quick post because im studying - I ask that you please disregard Koto ONLY IF I go missing. Schoolwork or internet problems may come over me. If I can get on and have knowledge of these things I will ensure Koto leaves. Just advance notice.))

As the chaos and calamity within the White Castle raged on a new presence could be felt creeping its way into the area. A large circular portal would appear near the Vizard Kazei which seemed to suck in even the light in the room. The vicinity in which it appeared was assuredly out of the line of fire, giving Koto time to react to anything that would come his way. It was only as a figure emerged from the portal that the room would significantly darken and the gravity increase. The massive reiatsu that this new man brought with him was enough to make even the strongest captains struggle to stay standing. It was rare for somebody to have such a commanding presence even among captains; the fact that he was here showed that things were serious. He was careful to step a safe distance out of the portal, which would remain open until he wished it closed.

Few would recognize this man as the fabled former 2nd division captain and stealth corps commander Kotonashii Matsudaii. Most would only recognize him from stories, legends and perhaps books. He now wore a rugged black dress shirt, with its sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a pair of black jeans. Long onyx hair fell down past his shoulders and in front of his face; it appeared darker than shadow and even blacker than black. It was safe to say that this man appeared dark and mysterious, although he did have a kind and respectful look about him.

" It always saddens me to return to my former home. You are all so quick to jump to conclusions, so quick to accuse and so quick to murder. All it takes is a little trouble, a little thought, for the tone to change from kindness to intolerance. In stead of rewarding a person for their bravery you commit him to death because of a one in a million chance. You could be the next one to go through the same process. Nothing has changed and it seems that nothing truly ever will as long as this prejudice exists."

Koto said with a hint of hatred in his tone. He hated that all of these people were so vicious and so judgmental; it always sickened him to return to his former home for any reason. Though many people would despise the man for his words against their home they did not have a grain of falsity in them. He would continue to speak, all the while making sure that nothing was going on without him knowing.

" Do tell me, what are your definitions of a traitor? Are they defined by motive? By Intention? Or are they defined by misfortune? Now, Kazei. What do you suggest."

Koto stood motionlessly with his blade gripped firmly in his hand; if anything were to happen he would be prepared to react in an instant. If things were however to get too intense he would depart back through the portal.

".......Be calm my brother.... Their death's will come soon...."

㊍Daichi Nagano...

8th Division Captain...
╚═══════════╝

▂▃▅▆Take root... Sekai no Ki▆▅▃▂

Daichi 's blast from his shikai... did nothing, because the Husks were already dead from a single slash from the blade of a Central 46 Judge. The 8th Division Captain knew of their power, yet he was still constantly baffled by the sheer power they all possessed. In many ways it made him feel very small and weak, but in other ways it gave him something to aspire to aspire to become, and he did very much aspire to one day become a Central 46 Judge. The events were going on around him so fast, he only barely noticed the Hollowfication of the lieutenant, but when he did, he knew what it meant. The boy was going to be sentenced to die. It was Shinigami law, and while it was not a law he agreed with, it was law none the less.

When he heard the Judge brand Dyan a traitor, he was not shocked. The circumstances would make it seem so, and they as a military force could not be allowed to take such risks, especially on the brink of a possible war. The boy looked as if he was about to fight... what an idiot... There was no chance he could take on a single Captain, not to mention all the Captains and two members of Zero Division, and a Judge. He had just signed his own death warrant, and it promised to be a very painful death. Until the 5th Squad Captain protected the one branded traitor... This was not going to end well for anyone, and it seemed the younger Captain could not be dissuaded from his stance unless by force.

"Oroshi, listen to me very carefully. I understand you're intentions... I respect them... But if you protect this man you will either be branded traitor and exiled, or worse, executed, either by decree or by the hands of someone here. I'm asking you to step down, before one of us has to kill you."

Daichi's voice was calm and cool, but not unkind. The lieutenant he could do nothing for, but Oroshi didn't have to be branded a traitor. He had a chance, but if he didn't take it... Daichi might have to kill his fellow Captain himself, and he didn't want it to come to that... but if it did, he would not hesitate. Daichi pledged himself to uphold and follow the laws and declarations of the Shinigami, and he would not betray that... even if he hated himself for it sometimes.

[[ooc. Awh s**t, things are getting tense. Also, Daichi is only in Shikai XD]]

Dyan's shikai went up to protect him but interupted by another captain's plea. Dyan's face was puzzled after the captain spoke. Dyan lowered his weapon as he noticed that oroshi's brave and loyal justice that he had just done. The mask was the only thing that had seperated him from the shinigami and his robes apparently was just as they were made from. Thread and blood. The years that was spent in constant training wasn't enough. The honor he wanted to be noticed for was not enough. The rank he had obtain like anyone else. Again didn't matter. The mask began to form even larger as Dyan thought and more of the matter, but stopped as he realize there might be good here. Dyan used the hilt of his zanpakuto and nudged the oroshi.

" Thank you, Oroshi. But I am different now I am persecuted and I'll accept my fate...."

Just then Dyan shun po'ed away from Oroshi toward the gate that was created. It was clear that whatever was going on was not because of the mask, but of Dyan being different all around...such as the quincies and bounts. It tore Dyan up inside but it wasn't nothing that anyone could do. The order was carried and the doubt of the judge changing it was slim to none. As she was definately not going to let the soul society be overrun with visards and shinigami.

" If this is the end so be it... I'll be exiled if that is a choice." said Dyan in a distorted voice.

Dyan's black cloak blew in the wind as he realized there was no turning back if exiled. But Dyan still thought of the world out there beyond these walls. He didn't understand what was going on, but it was obvious that he knew what was going to in the coming time.

User ImageOroshi smirked and stated his argument now that his head was more level,
"I'm not disobeying the law. A single judge of the central Forty-six has made her point but we are leaving out a few," he signaled on his hands the numbers 4 and 5,
"other members, if anyone is ignoring law and protocol it's all of you who are willy-nilly obeying a single judge without the other Forty-five sages. Executing him here and now would be nothing more then coldblooded murder. I refuse to let the Thirteen Court Guard squads be degraded so low that we resort to murder. We can subdue the boy and keep him in control. Killing him where he stands is not what our laws allow." The Fifth captain was adamant on his loyalty and faith in the squads but also brought what he perceived as a fair and extremely logical issue to the problem at hand.
"I love my squad, and the soul society I'm simply protecting it from acting rashly." With this he turns to the Vizard and whispers,
"I'm sorry Lieutenant, your fate is not in my hands. Bakudou Nana-jyu-san: Hakufuku." Feathers would fill the eyes causing deep slumber in a average lieutenant.

"

... Aerin had been very still and silent as he watched the captains planned to kill this new vizard and even more silent as they threating him. Now though... "You..." The shinigami high marshall's reiatsu was rising at an alarming rate and now that the others could see his face, it was masked with rage as he drew his sword. "Leave this vizard...Or I'll kill you." they had picked the worst possible time to enrage the high marshall and unless he did something, he was going to regret it. Aerin spoke to Oroshi and Kazei. "Get out of here before they are going to kill you but I will hold them as fast as you get out. I will come there with you soon!" He hold his sword and point it to them."

Madarao Sugiura

Rank: Captain || Division: 10 ||

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤| "To accept the strength of the sword, you must accept the flaws as well." |├▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Madarao strolled toward the White Castle at his usual pace. How much trouble would he be in for not showing up on time? There was an off-chance that it would be major, but the Captain Commander was that harsh a guy to punish him for not being punctual. Yes, he would most likely get chewed out for it, but actual punishment didn't seem realistic. Sighing heavily, the Captain of Squad 10 was set on getting his tongue lashing over with. As he marched in toward the massive structure, a dull explosion could be heard. Looking up, he could see the dirt and debris that was coming from the smoking hole. “s**t! Either that’s a pretty heated argument, or something of epic proportion is taking place,” he murmured, spitting out his toothpick. Not sure what to expect, he placed his hand on the hilt of his zanpakuto and shunpo’d up the steps.

Upon reaching the ruined wall, voices could be heard. Some the 10th Division Captain could distinguish at the drop of a hat, while others didn’t register. There were a couple of mentions of a traitor. I guess I can rule out the debate as a cause for this. As the conversation progressed, new information was unraveling before he’d even made it into the White Castle. So there were Vizards and Judges present. This was turning into one hell of a party if he knew of one. Oroshi’s lieutenant had been transformed into a hybrid and there was an argument about what precautions had to be taken. Madarao sighed and rubbed his temple slowly; trying to relieve the ache that seemed to be a precursor for the trouble was brewing just around the corner. I should probably make my presence known, he decided. Halfway in taking a step toward the hole, someone called out about a plan to cover the Vizards’ retreat. Not really wanting to allow a traitor to escape from justice, Madarao climbed through the broken wall with his zanpakuto drawn. “I hope I’m not interrupting with my tardiness. I was… a little indisposed, but I’m here now. So that should count for something,” he drawled starkly. Normally people took the captain’s laidback tone as a sign of weakness, but this was not so. “I don’t think you should leave. That would be incredibly rude since I assume it was one of you Vizards that put this hole here.” As the man spoke, he scanned the room, attempting to see who was injured or whole. No one appeared to be hurt, but then there were also some captains that weren’t present. Then he turned his attention to Aerin. A disgusted expression could be seen on the Captain of Squad 10’s visage. So it was Aerin that wanted to put his life on the line to protect fleeing enemies. “I would advise you to stay where you are… sir.” It was Madarao’s duty as a Captain of the Gotei 13 to preserve its laws.

As this continued on Kira's mouth opened slightly to escape a sigh. She didn't like all this drama when the decision was simple. Her eyes looked towards the Vizard who had come in and then the Captain who was protecting Dyan. Her red eyes looking at them with somewhat of a softness. She then looked to the Judge and spoke clearly to the others. Despite the rude comment she had received from the Captain she complimented she was not afraid to speak her mind on the situation. This is not directed at a single person but too all who seemed to jump on the decision "I am not going to disagree that this is indeed law and that order has been carried out, however I believe there is another alternative other then death. As much as I don't wish this on the Lieutenant may I suggest a removal of his rank and possibly an exile instead? I do not see a need for bloodshed.. However... I do not condone his stupidity." Kira gave a swift glare at this at the Lieutenant. "This continuous cycle of killing and blood shed will never end unless we use our heads and rationalize the situation, in my belief a Shinigami should be looking at all sides of the equation before jumping to a conclusion. Which is what several of you have already done. I sure as hell would not just be so quick to murder someone without looking at circumstance, but I would definitively suggest strict punishment regarding the degree of circumstance. Why do people be so quick to use their blades and not their heads. I can say that I do agree with those to jump to murder but in this circumstance I do not believe it is the right sense of action. However, I will not forgive this Lieutenant for making the move that he did" Kira looked to the new Vizard especially and the Captain protecting him and gave a slow nod to them in a somewhat approval motion. "What Central 46 decides is out of our hands... but I will stand my ground with what I suggested, whether you all agree with me or not I do not care. But this whole time from the start of battle we have not been thinking clearly."

"So the Zero Division has resorted to assisting criminals of the Soul Society." A voice spoke from the nearby exits of the White Castle. He hadn't been there very long, however he had been standing there long enough to take in the series of event that had transpired in the White Castle. "I see." He stroked his beard as his shiny spectacles scanned each and every single person in the room. He noticed that Judge Ayaeda Sarutsuchi had made an appearance as well. This in itself told him that the situation was dire, however he never expected that a zero division captain would sank so low to assist criminals. Turning towards Oroshi, his his eyes squinted with disappointment. "I should have you sentenced to the nest of maggots for 200 years for disobeying a direct order from a central 46 judge Let it be the first and last time." Strangely the man spoke softly, or perhaps it was just his natural calm demeanor. His beady eyes then directed towards the Ring Two High Marshall. "Yes. I cannot promise that your death will be painless as you pass on into the life. Zero Division or not, you will pay the consequences for your actions." He spoke softly before lending his attention in the direction of the vizards. All three of them to be exact. "Kazei, former 6th Division Captain. Your treachery knows no bounds." His old voice cracked. There was disappointment in his eyes. To see such fine shinigami lose their way and fall so far had saddened him. Old Tengo would glance back towards the rest of the shinigami including his colleague Ayaeda. "The Kidou Corps has been informed of this situation and they have acted. Therefore, all Senkaimon gates are being temporarily locked shut until further proven noticed. The sekkiseki in the walls surrounding the Seireitei are also being enhanced by the kidou corps troops as of right now as well, meaning very soon nothing spiritual will be able to enter nor exit for a while." He sighed before shining his spectacles across the room and back towards the people in it. "With this being said, these traitors will have no choice but to face us. There is no escape for them. There deaths had already been executed the moment Judge Ayaeda had given the order. "Kira." His eyes averted to the Zero Division High Marshal of Ring One. "I take that you will 'deal' with your colleague Aerin for his betrayal. And by deal with, I mean make sure that it will never happen again." It was painfully obvious that his orders meant kill the Ring Two High Marshall. "If you cannot do so, then I will instruct someone who will guaranteeingly do so. With that specific statement, he averted his eyes towards Madarao whom had just stepped into the White Castle. "Madarao, since you are late for your Sotaicho's meeting, I will leave it to you to take care of the Zero Division High Marshal of Ring Two in case Kira doesn't." He was sure that Madarao was more than enough for the Zero Division Captain. Zero Division Captains were chosen upon their exceptional skills, however in stature they were still former captains and could be faced by captains as well. The only thing that separated the two was their duties. "The rest of you will focus your power towards preventing the rest of the vizards from escaping. They are to be executed where they stand." This was the way of Soul Society. Although many would not agree with it, this was the law. To gain hollow powers was treason, to assist those whom had been labeled as traitors was treason, and the rules would not be changed no matter who disagreed with them. This was the way of the Soul Society.
