Once the report was complete she set the Pad back down, nodding in agreement to Hayes, and prepared to turn back to her own work. when she hesitated.
"Uh, Agent Hayes," she started "You seem to be losing a little of your color."
After all he was still injured from the recent mission, he was coming back to work very soon, and he had been jarring himself quite a bit since he got here.
"If you need to take a break and get some water..."
It wouldn't be good for him to pass out here.
Umbreon looked a little indignant when her act inspired a yawn from him as well, snorting after his jaws closed and he turned his head away

A few seconds passed between Faleen's advice and Hayes' distracted "Huh?" as he sat up, followed by a quiet "Ngh."
He wasn't listening.

She couldn't help an amused grin at this, knowing exactly how that was.
"Your looking pale."
The soft grunt from him, clearly indicating that he was still very hurt, and the pain seemed to be increasing since he got here.

Hayes spun around to deliver this Very Important Information and regretted it. "Y'know, this almost looks like some kind of stasis rout- .." Wince.
The agent put a hand to his side and was silent, bands obscuring his expression. After a little bit he raised his head and gave Faleen a rueful half-smile.
"..routine. Sorry. Think I need a break."

Her eyebrows twitched up for a second in a moment of surprise when he turned quickly around, almost wincing with him when he was cut off from his pain.
She blinked a couple of times, watching as he hung in a moment of shielded silence, Lips parting slightly as if she wanted to say something out of concern.
"Agent-?"
She cut off when he looked up at her again, and spoke.
"We won't be able to do very much until the scans are done, and I won't be able to get all the scans complete till at least tomorrow." She reassured
"I can handle this part, feel free to go take a break."

"Kay. Thanks." Arceus, it hurt to breathe. What had he been doing? He'd been all right this morning, before he'd come down here and gotten wrapped up in talking and the project and moving.. around..
Oh, well. There you go then.
Hayes didn't get up just yet; he took a few moments to save the data he'd extracted and upload it to a drive he could access later.
Binary got to her paws and trotted toward Hayes, gold eyes wide and ears laid back. "Breon," she barked, and butted his ankle lightly.
"Guess I'll see you tomorrow then," the blond said as he got up, Umbreon almost tripping over his boots.

She nodded, standing up straight as he returned to his feet, glancing over when his Shiny Umbreon walked over to him, watching the beautiful dark type for a short time, before Hayes got her attention again.
"Yes, see you tomorrow. take care of yourself." She offered as a parting, allowing him to leave as she returned to the large amount of work she needed to attend to.
Umbreon watched the two of them leave, not moving from the spot he was in.
Letting out a sharp breath through his nose, his head laid back onto his paws, and he closed his eyes.
