[Dustpaw sat up, looking at Thunderflight. He had almost forgotten about training. Featherheart was probably getting impatient as the young apprentice leaped to his paws, butting his forehead lightly against Thunderflight's shoulder, he waved his tail enthusiastically when he got to the entrance of the nursery.]
"I'll train hard and be the best warrior you've ever seen," Dustpaw mewed, determination flaring in his belly.[Thunderflight was more like a mother it him in some ways than his own mother had been. She was constantly keeping an eye on him and offering him encouragement. The bushy tailed apprentice dipped his head politely to Thunderflight, Skywhisker, and Softspirit as he slipped out of the cozy den and into the bright, open clearing.]

could it be that this search will last unbounded eternity on tainted slate?
Twins are dangerous, tricky things, and when a second thunder rings too late

[Silently appearing at the nursery entrance Whisperblade entered, not making even the faintest sound as he drifted in at over to Thunderflight's side with a kind smile. Carefully he picked up his scarf and placed it back around his neck. It felt nice to have it back, he hoped the kittens enjoyed it while he was gone.]
"Sorry to have disappeared on you my love, i got caught up in a big event, i hope i didn't worry you. The ruckus out side i have found was a welcoming to Amberkit and Peachkit. They have returned to us from the realm of the two legs. As to what exactly i got caught up in, well, i was assigned to be Peachpaw's mentor, she was very eager to start training right away."
[He said in a clam, matter of fact tone as he adjusted his scarf so that it felt right against his fur.]
"She did very well on her first hunting lesson. She caught a few mice on her first try."
[Turning his loving gaze down to the kittens nestled against his love's belly he purred louder.]
"How are the kittens?"

The small kit was curled up happily beside her mother and her two siblings. The small kit stirred from her sleep and opened her dark amber eyes. She let out a small yawn before lifting her head and gazing around the den. She stared with interest at the two new litters of kittens in the nursery and stood up. The ginger she-cat padded over to Skywhisker and stared down at her kits. They were so tiny and small! Had she been that little when she was born? Why were their eyes closed? Had her eyes been closed and, if so, then why? The kit studied the kits for a few more seconds before returning to her mother, gazing up at her. she tried to spot her father but he wasn't in the den. She felt dissapointed since she had wanted him to tell her stories of his adventures as a warrior. Oh well, her mother was here too and she must have stories too! Maybe she could answer her questions.]
"Mother, why are Skywhisker's and Thunderflight's kits have their eyes closed? Were mine closed when I was born too?" she asked and tilted her head.
[Everkit stared up at her mother before looking at her two siblings, who were still sleeping. How could they sleep when there was so much to learn! They had to be awake to learn things about the outside world. Otherwise, they would be clueless. Speaking of the outside world, Everkit longed to go and explore it. Her father had told her many things about it but Everkit wanted to experiance it and learn things in person. She was excited to grow up so that she would learn and experiance new things. Unlike other kits who loved to play and have fun, Everkit was very serious and mature. She prefered to have discussions with the other warriors and learn about new things. Even her own siblings couldn't get her to play their games.]

Brightspirit pondered the question as she smoothed down her pelt, twitching her whiskers as she finished and looked down at Everkit, poking her softly with her tail] "Their eyes are closed because they were just born a short while ago! They'll open soon, and you'll have lots of playmates! Of course your eyes were closed, too silly, just like theirs" [Smiling softly, Brightspirit bent down and licked her kit on the head, green eyes sparkling. As she was doing so, Riverfang popped back into the nursery, a grin spreading across his muzzle as he spotted his mate and kits. Anyone could tell just by looking at his expression that the warrior just completely adored the five of them. Stepping carefully over the kits and the queens, Riverfang made his way over to the group, licking his mate on her cheek before settling down beside her] "Hello love, hello Everkit. Finalyl awake I see?" [He grinned again and tickled her nose with his tail, a teasing gleam in his dark brown eyes. Brightspirit snorted softly and nudged him with her shoulder. He was such a pushover when it came to the kits, and was really turning into a big lump of softness. He insisted on coming to check on all of them at least four times during the day, but, he was just being a father. Remaining silent, Brightspirit sighed happily, enjoying the scene in front of her] __________________________________________________________________________________________________ I CAN SURVIVE IT ALL WITH YOU Even after all this time,

[Blizzardkit had been asleep, his whole body wrapped up snugly and tightly in his father's red scarf. Not only was it warm, it felt comfortable as well, just like momma's pelt. He had fallen into a deep slumber, dreaming about...well, his parents and siblings as he didn't have much else to dream about, when the scarf he had so snugly wrapped himself around was rudely taken away. Blizzardkit squirmed as he snuggled closer to his mother for warmth, his stunning golden eyes snapping open for the first time, fixing onto the first thing in front of him - Whisperblade, his father.]
[At first it was a stare of genuine curiosity - he had no idea cats could be so big! Feeling bolder and more curious, Blizzardkit crawled a few steps towards his father, staring up at him with wide, innocent golden eyes. The stare lasted for a few long moments before his eyes suddenly narrowed and his brows furrowed into a frown. Blizzardkit had caught sight of the scarf around Whisperblade's neck, and thought it looked a lot like the soft-flappy-thing which he had deemed to be a good toy. And his Dadda (no it's not a typo, I meant to write that XD) had taken his toy from him! Blizzardkit's brows furrowed as if very deep in thought, his mouth opening and shutting as if trying to form words. [Looking down from Thunderflight Whisperblade was surprised to see that one of the kittens was staring at him with open eyes. He sat down to get a better look at them, they were a beautiful golden color. He smiled lovingly at his son. The warrior opened his own eyes just a crack to gaze into Blizzardkit's, his own eyes the same stunning golden color.]
"Hello there little one, welcome to the world. I have been waiting to meet you for a while now.~"
[Whisperblade tilted his head in confusion however when his son let out a loud sound looking at him with a frown. Did he not like him? Had he said something wrong? Following the small kit's gaze he could see that he was fixated upon his special scarf. He let out a sigh and smiled down at him.]
"I guess I wont be getting this back any time soon will I?"
[He said in a sing song tone as he playfully draped it over Blizzardkit, being sure not to cover his head while he did. Whisperblade purred as he licked the kit once lovingly on his head and layed on his side getting comfortable. He began to groom the fur on his neck, still getting used to the feel of not having something around his neck.]

Lifting my paw up, she crawled forward and I rested my paw softly on her, letting her use it as... Whatever. She soon fell fast asleep though. I looked over when I heard a loud sound. Chuckling, I saw the source. One of Thunderflight's kits. He had opened his eyes! And. since my kits were born not too long after her, they would soon too. I looked at Burrpelt.] "Look! Thunderflight's kits are starting to open their eyes" [I meowed, happy for her and the kits.] ((Out Of Cats: Annoyingly short post. [Everkit looked at her mother before glancing toward the other kits. she studied them in silence for a few moments, not even noticing her father enter the nursery. Everkit observed as the small kits nursed from their mother. Her eyes were drawn to one of Skywhisker's daughters and she watched the newborn kit move toward her mother. She wondered if the kits would remember any of this when they were older. Would she remember this when she grew older? Looking back up at hhr mother, the kit smiled and flicked her tail.]
"Oh, but why? Why can't they be born with their eyes open instead of closed? What difference does it make on whether they are born with them open instead of closed?" the curious kitten mewed. She finally took notice to her father and smiled up at him. "Hello Father, how are you?"

[Being pulled back to his mother's side, Briskkit started to growl until set back down. Without knowing what was picking him up, the tom kit hated it. He didn't want to be picked up, mother was doing this against his own will! Picking his head off his paws, the brown tabby stumbled up onto his paws and climbed onto Skywisker's back. Once up, he began climbing onto his mom's head. Clinging onto the neck, he started slipping a bit, but ended up making it onto her head. Limbs splayed out and his tummy touching Skywisker's head completely, Briskkit touched noses with Skywisker.]"Hello, I am on you're head."[He said mentally, wondering if anyone else besides him could hear. Suddenly, the kitten slipped off of his mothers head, landing right on his rump. He let out a small whimper of pain, but then got up, and headed towards Thunderflight, wanting to climb more.]"Mom has a slippery head. I think she purposely did that to ambush me. My butt hurts! I'll climb other things."[Briskkit thought, approaching Thunderflight and squirming onto her back. Once up, he wrapped his limbs around her neck, trying not to slip. And then all of a sudden, he slid back down onto the black she-cat's back. growling with anger, Briskkit rolled back down to the ground and blindly went over to Thunderflight's kits, setting himself right next to the queen, thinking that was his mother.]
[Amberpaw padded into the nursery once again, smiling and giggling happily. Looking around at the many kits and queens, she noticed something interesting about Thunderflight's kits. One of them looked like... Briskkit? No way! Approaching the queen Amberpaw began fretting over Briskkit.]""Oh my goodness Thunderflight you gave birth to a Briskkit look alike! Now I can poke two Briskkits! Yayyyy!"[She squealed happily, before turning around and noticing Briskkit was gone from his mother's side. Turning back and Picking up the brown kit, Amberpaw returned him to his mother's side, while Briskkit growled.]"Here ya go! When's he gonna open his eyes I want to be the first thing he looks at."

[Softspirit giggled lightly as Halokit came close to her paw. She loved kits, they were always so entertaining. Her blue eyes drifted down to the kit she asked about. Briskkit seemed to be moving away from her. Did he not like her? Shaking off the thought, she turned back to Halokit and purred. Well, she liked this kit a lot.] "Hi there Halokit. I'm Softspirit, a warrior for Stormclan." [She meowed softly to the young kit.] "You are one adorable kit, you know that?" [She purred gently. Looking around, she noticed a newcomer and squinted her eyes to see the face of the cat. Was that.. Amberkit? If she was here, her sister must be too! She didn't know why, but she liked Peachkit a little more. The two sisters acted like a sister to her when she was in her apprentice years. Looking down at Halokit, she excused herself and made her way to the she-cat.] "Amberkit? Is that really you?" [She meowed, silently hoping it was.]

I blinked as he touched my nose.] "Hey there sweetie" [I meowed softly. I let out a gasp as he fell and nosed him back to his paws, only to have him crawl away. I gasped as I realized where he was heading] "Brisk-kit you get back here!" [I meowed and stood up.] "No Amberpaw, that's mine" [I meowed, about to pad over, only to have Amberpaw return him to me. I sighed gratefully and lay back down.] "Brisk-kit, don't crawl away from me like that" [I mumbled, picking him up and pulling him closer to me] "Thank you" [I meowed softly.] "We'll, they were born a little bit after Thunderflight's litter. So it shouldn't be to long now. Since her kits are beginning to open their eyes" [I meowed, eager to see the eyes of my kits] [Halokit purred as she was under her mothers paw. She really liked the big thing. It was like a blanket for her. She turned her head to point her nose at Softspirit. Though, that thing that she had been chewing on (Softspirit's tail). That was real soft. Then her mother had to go an pick her up.
