Sprawling out in her room, she thought over ways to occupy her time for the trip. Honestly! There was nothing to do on board this ship! She was booored! Sitting up upon recalling the Trick or Treater's attitude; Mei considered drawing something in hopes of lightening her mood some. The plan wouldn't be a guaranteed success---it would probably have the opposite effect actually, but at least this way she could kill some time! Reaching for any scrap piece of paper and drawing materials she could find, Mei quickly drew up what she considered to be a masterpiece (far from it) and quickly set a course for the ToT's quarters, grabbing the needed materials for it along the way. Arriving at her destination, loud 'bangs' could be heard as she tacked the newly made drawing to the ToT's door. "There! Perfect." Mentally patting herself on the back while she stood there observing her work, she then retreated to the deck of the ship, leaving her present behind. (( sorry, I would have put more effort into my entry, but I'm pressed for time. xD;;; /is also lazy/ ))

Viveca had followed the others down to her room, which ended up being right next to Sin's. Well, she could always go bother her if she got bored. The ghoul didn't sit around long, though. She never was good at sitting still. She mad her way back up to the deck, in time to here Winter's song.
That was reassuring...
Upon seeing the irritated Cloak, she set about fiddling with scraps that were in the corner. After she finished she stood up proudly, dusting off her hands.
She let a ball bearing roll down a plank of elevated, slanted wood. It fell to another placed just below and opposite the first, then landed on a rudimentary wheel. The wheel spun and as it did, it wound up some fishing line. A hook at the end of the line caught on an off white canvas, which unfurled to a hand painted message from her:
Don't worry, be happy!

"There once was a ToT'er named Cloak, all the students she wanted to choke, they tried to make her happy, but came off way too sappy so her wrath they still did invoke." Her attempt at a poem was poor. Sighing, Rain sat down and pulled out her little notebook. She began to sketch out Cloak. She really didn't know how to make anyone happy so she tried to draw Cloak at least looking happy. Perhaps she had gone a little overboard? At least it was a little better than her poem. ((Sorry for it being late, I thought it was pst, not est.))

GM POST As the students slowly wrapped up with creating their gifts for Cloak, the sky began to darken, and a thick, swirling mist began to creep over the boat. It was damp, and cold, and the fog began to amass, making it near-to-impossible, to see even the nose at the end of your face.
Due to the hefty fog, there will be an additional 3 days of travel and a loss of 50 food.
(( BOAT STATS FOR THE OVERBOARD : MARCH 11THSize of boat:Large Food left: 150 Fear Tries left: N/A Days traveled so far (Icly): 3 day travelled so far. Adding +5 to required travel time. Student HP27 HP ))

BOAT FEAR
Despite the fog, it would appear Xypher was able to retrieve 25 additional food, leaving the boat with 175 Food.

OMJ WTJ BBQ?!?Once the fog set in, students found themselves fumbling around, reaching and grabbing at random areas, trying to find their way back around. It was infuriating, to say the least.
But... a reprieve!! There appeared to be some light peaking it's way through the mist. Soft, and glowing red. It had a strange, calming effect on everyone..
That is.
Until they appeared.

Fish.
LOTS AND LOTS of fish.
But not just any fish... Angry angler fish.. jumping all over the boat! Nipping and biting at students! Oh no!
HAVE NO FEAR!
Xypher, at Winter's request, has tossed each student what appears to be... a laser tag gun.
Wait what? What's that supposed to do?!
Well, Xypher fires off a beam towards one of the fish, and anyone nearby can watch as the fish combusts almost instantaneously. Mmm yummy.
Time to defend yourselves children!

After a quick visit to her room, Shine re-emerged carrying a couple of things. Her fancy shoes now dangled from one hand (because, as she'd reasoned, this probably still counted as wearing them) and a crumpled little paper was clutched in the other. With a much better grasp on her balance, she quietly made her way past the other dorms, stopping at the door she hoped belonged to Rain's room. Her memory could probably use some help. Kneeling down, she almost tried to slip the shoes under the door, before giggling at herself. That was really stupid. The paper found its way partially beneath it before she gave up. Why did that little space between the door and the floor have to be so tiny? note dear rain, i miss you. the water is scary. it is loud at night. we should hang out soon, like at school. ♥ shine (:

Cloak reemerged from her cabin sometime later, only to be assaulted by all sorts of gifts. One student flopped onto her in what she could only assume was a huge while another shoved treats into her arms and yet still others drew pictures or gave her cards. For a moment she seemed stunned, like she might have a hissy fit and stomp back into her cabin, but then she gathered all the gifts in her arms and stared down at them.
Was that a smile? It was hard to tell.
That was when the angler fish jumped on board and, with a renewed sense of affection towards the students, she hurriedly shoved her presents into her cabin and leaped out onto the deck. Who needed exploding fish? With an expression that belonged on a Spartan warrior, she began to kick the fish as hard as she could over the side of the boat.

Though Aksaja perhaps should have cared about cheering up their ToT'er, he had honestly been busy with some other things and thus totally forgot about it. The lightning dragon definitely noticed when FISH quite suddenly started attacking their boat, though.
Ha! Now this was something he could do! Gripping the gun tightly, Aksaja aimed and shot at one of the fish . . .
But his shot missed, and on top of that, he actually tripped over something he couldn't see in the fog. "Jackdammit," he muttered from his new position lying face-down on the deck.

"Ugh, really?" If it wasn't one thing, it was another on this boat! Right after she'd finished her makeshift contraption, a strange glowing red thing burst onto the deck (wrecking one of her carefully placed planks in the process. The nerve!)
As she was handed a laser gun, she held the trigger awkwardly. She wasn't entirely sure how to fire it...
As she tried to aim, she stepped back to get a better angle on the fish, but managed to step onto the hem of her gown (jack-damned dress!) and she fell backwards, thudding hard against the deck.
Her shot when wild, totally missing every fish around her.

Tsetsiliya had retreated for a short time to her room after being scolded by their faculty chaperon (through song, even). If you could call it scolding, anyway.. she saw it as part warning and part scolding. She set her sash out on top of the dresser to dry and fetched her warmer sash. Luckily for her, it didn't clash too badly with the dress she was wearing, and provided a bit of extra warmth. All of the splashing water and spray from the ocean had left her feeling a little chilled.
Finally returning to the deck, it seemed like chaos had erupted. Winter's assistant was passing around weapons of some kind, and by example she was seeing a student or two shooting at something just over the bow of the ship (was this a laser gun?). Squinting through the red light and fog, she could make out the forms of some rather ugly fish.. a countless number of them. The ghoul had never fired a gun before, what were they thinking? She turned back to Xypher in hopes of reasoning with him.
"I-I am not thinking --" Before she could offer it back, one of the fish reared its ugly head. In her surprise the gun slipped from her hands and dropped with a clatter to the deck, squeezing off a misfire as it did so. Tsetsiliya cringed at the noise, hoping to Jack she didn't hit a student, but as she opened a wary eye and uncovered her ears she saw one of the offending fish burst into pieces.
She swallowed nervously and reached for her gun, brushing away small bits of exploded fish. Well, that was one fish down! A gun shouldn't be so hard to handle. At least she hoped not.

Okay, time to try this again. "Die, fish!" Aksaja yelled as he took aim to try another shot. Other students were out on the deck now, also fighting - which was good. Cause there were a lot of Jackdamned fish. Where were they coming from. Okay sure it was the ocean but. COME ON.
However, the fog had created something of an odd effect, bending light around the fish so that he completely missed hitting anything. For a moment, the lightning dragon considered flying upward to get a better view, then thought about that. He could easily lose sight of the boat all together in this mess. Nooo thank you.

Viveca got back on her feet and took aim again, this time pulling the trigger without any real difficulty.
The fish just whizzed around her, apparently unharmed by her poor shots.

Viveca was getting sick of missing. Out of annoyance, she aimed her laser at the shiny, reflective railing (which had failed so miserably at keeping all the students on board) and fired.
To her utter surprise, not only did the laser light bounce back, it went straight through the mouth of an equelly surprised fish, exploding it on contact.
"All right!" she yelled. Now to get a few more. Maybe her aim (and luck) were improving!

Upon spotting one of the ghouls . . . Viveca he thought? . . . Aksaja moved over toward her, gripping his own gun tightly. "We should try to work together, maybe!" he called, taking aim at another fish.
However, once again the fog made him miss, and the lightning dragon cursed under his breath. At least it seemed like someone was doing a better job at this than he was. Maybe the ship wouldn't be overrun. Hopefully.
