"Ooooh dear oh dear oh dear" said the man, knitting his eyebrows. "I have never even heard of that race of elves before. Whatever am I to do....oh dear oh dear oh dear......Tell me kind sir, is there a map of your kingdom I might glance at briefly? I fear I am terribly lost..."

With a nod of his head, Tuomas retrieved a rolled up map from his pocket and unfurled it for the man to examine. He pointed to an area beneath the castle.
"This is where we are located now. As you can see, the castle alone is quite extensive. As for the actual kingdom, there are many areas not yet put on the map. There is a small village nearby that may have even more maps of nearby locations."

"Many many thanks sir!" the man said, bowing. "Uh, do you mind?" Before Tuomas could answer, the man placed a sheet of parchment onto the map and gently rubbed its surface. The parchment glowed faintly gold, and then the map appeared onto the parchment as well. "My master has many useful little gadgets.." the man said offhandedly to Tuomas as he rolled up the parchment map into his coat. "Oh, my apologies" he said , bowing again "I am Kufa Vizuri of the land of Kerajann,orphan son of Xeao the Wanderer and Lady Lonya of the Elves, servant to Wartswood and friend to all!" At these last words he opened his arms wide, smile beaming across his face as he picked up Tuomas in a giant hug. Placing the slightly stunned Toumas back down, he reached into hi cloak and took out a small leather bag tied with hemp. "Here" he said, still beaming "My master gave these to me to give to anyone who assisted me well. He knows me well so he knew I would invariably get myself into SOME sort of trouble." He chuckled as he said this, but tinged with none too well hidden shame. As he opened the bag, he poured the contents into Tuomas' hands"Even over here, you folk DO find diamonds valuable dont you?"

Stumbling backwards, Tuomas adjusted his glassed and blinked a few times.
"Y-Yes, well, that is quite generous of you, sir."
He struggled to contain all of the gems within his hands.
"If you would prefer, I could escort you to the main floor. I am certain that may be a more comfortable location for you. If you would like, there is plenty of food and drink available. You may wish to rest for a small amount of time."

"Ah, many thanks! I do hope we meet again soon!" With that, Kufa tipped his hat and disappeared in a cloud of smoke like the one he had appeared in.

As Kufa left, Tuomas stood there momentarily stunned. He snapped out of his reverie quickly enough and looked down at the large amount of diamonds in his hands. They did not keep a treasury within the castle, so he was near at a loss as to what to do with them. After a moment, an idea came to him and he quickly left the area to return to the remnants of his lab.

Deep in the center of the crystal room, the numerous crystals surrounding the ominous pool of blood seemed to flicker. Their glow dimmed, going out slightly before shining forth with an even brighter light than before. The ground beneath trembled as ripples broke out on the surface of the pool. Slowly a crimson soaked hand stretched forth out of the blood, sharp nails digging into the side. Following it, a male body emerged from the scarlet pool covered from head to toe with the ancient lifeblood. With difficulty the figure stood, a deep cry echoing from the depths that could very well have been mistaken for the victory call of Death himself as two crimson eyes snapped open and shadows consumed him to leave no trace.

Nero began what would likely be his final adventure to save his new queen. After hearing that his queen was endangered from a raving madman and several of his friends we also in danger, Nero headed off to a place he swore he would never return to. Nero found himself seeking the lair of the blood crystal for what would be one of the few selfless acts of his short life.
