Ok, here we go.
I'm first chair in the flute section.AND I DON'T TRY TO BE>
I draw waaayyyy too much(my pencil is gone by the end of first hour), I rarely practice at home(Beleive it~!), and I'm an Anime FREAK><
I also try to be last chair and never do.First chair is like, a burden.

Oraiste` I guess I'm somewhere inbetween average and perfectionist... I practice like crazy and try to be the best that I can be because I enjoy playing my instrument. Although I don't want to be noticed in band so I don't talk, and I never go first when playing my scales. Ever. same here

I'm an Butterfly chasing Average Joe, if that makes any sense at all. It depends who I'm with... Like when I'm with my best friends, I talk the whole time in band and mess up alot and yeah... but otherwise I'm just like whatever...

I fit nowhere into the three... I'm pretty quiet, I don't practice, I pay attention and...
I'm the wise one of the band they say...

let's see.....
i would practice more if we weren't playing grade 4 music.
so i used to be a perfectionist but now i'm mostly average-"butterfly chaser". in other words: now i just draw and read manga in band class.
oh, and we aren't required to know our scales. sad huh?

I'm a strange mix of all three. I don't have as much time to practice as much as a "perfectionist" because my normal school work takes up most of my time, but I can read and play through my music VERY well. ( Entire Circle of 5ths up and down in 31 seconds, baby.) I always know my part, am one of the best players, and excluding working on tone, I don't really need to practice my pieces that much.
Despite this... I space out. The moment rehearsal ends, I return to my normal out-there self. I don't spaz over going first, but if I were asked to play, I don't have any problems with it. :] I think I mostly go with the flow when it comes to things...

I'm a butterfly person.. but strangely enough, I made the lead Clarinet in our orchestra, despite the fact that I only practice about once a week. Needless to say, the clarinets in our orchestra suck.

Butterfly-chaser. But I'm terrified of butterflies. Annoying little things flying into my face in the su---...
It isn't that I have a short attention span. I pay attention about 85% of the time. That other 15% is because something more interesting is obviously happening in the brass section. >_<
Wait, where was I? Yeah, it isn't that I have a short attention span. I just have a hard time comitting things to memory. "Am I gonna be at school tonight? Why would I? Huh? What do you mean we have a concert today?!"
Day of the concert... "Why am I the only one at school? When'dyou change the time for the concert? Look, the paper you passed out says six of clock. Not six thirty, not seven, si-- of course I listen to you in class. When? All the time! Pshaw, why am I here early then? ..........Well, obviously you neglected to tell me anything. >____>" *insert rant that gets me pity-hugs later*

I'm somewhere between the average joe and a perfectionist. When I can't get something in band practice, I go home and practice that part for hours. But once I get it, I tend to not practice it for a while. Myabe it's because I'm first chair that I aim to be the best.......hmmm
