(OOC: I think for the purposes of saving time, the former is probably the best.
Wait a minute... the chuunin's attack was aimed at Hyouton genin as well? Shoot, I thought only Hibari was going to be hit by the attack. If Sora could see that the genin would be hit, she would have done something else....
And did you mean Sora when you mentioned Haruka?)

As Haruka's illusion caught the enemy, it made her sure of her skills but unfortunately it was too late. The enemy genin had already sliced through the neck of their client. 'I can't beli...' she was thinking but her thoughts were interrupted and she was quickly brought as Hibari shouted her name, telling her to hurry. It was obvious that if there was anything that could be done about the client it would be only Haruka the one who could do it. She did not even think twice and rushed in the camping site while the other two attacked the foes.
While Hibari distracted the chuunin, Haruka made her way to the client while the genin was left terrified for some moments by her genjutsu. The chuunin was sent backwards by Hibari's attack and there was nobody to stop her, but at the moment she got close to Asuka, she noticed something wrong. When she crouched and touched Asuka's neck, the kunoichi found out that the scholar was alive, but that was not all, she had used an illusion to make it look like she was really bleeding. 'How...?' Haruka found herself facing another doubt but it was not time to feel relieved nor time to wonder.about how the scholar was safe.
Haruka quickly made handsigns as the enemies were still distracted, the genin because of the illusion that would be ending soon and the chuunin was fighting Hibari. As it would not be good if the enemies found out Asuka was alive, the kunoichi decided to pretend she was angry. She turned around as she finished the handseals. The handseals she finished would be done by the time Sora's attack was performed and after the enemy would be caught, or not, by sora's technique, Haruka would release a small lightning bolt aimed at the head of the genin. She would be careful enough to not hit Sora with the jutsu, by moving herself if needed.

(OOC: Right, finished the edit on my post. I now have Sora between the enemy genin and the place Haruka was before she moved to heal Asuka. That's not a place where she would be blatantly hurt, right?)

((Since Hibari is taking his time I'll post. We gotta keep things moving, after all. Keep those few active RPCs moving. I'm not giving up on POTS just yet.))
Asuka:
Noticing the other team members and enemy ninja were all distracted, Asuka's hand shot out grabbing Haruka's foot and yanked it out from under her. The young medical nin dropped to the ground just as the Chuunin's shadow attack flew over their heads. She then quickly returned to her original "dead" position. The girl would probably not be silly enough to bring attention to Asuka's life. Not when the enemies were around.
The girl's jutsu would have been ruined, but it was a small price when compared to the damage the Chuunin jutsu would have dealt.
((sorry for ruining your jutsu, but it was auto-trip you or let the shadow jutsu auto hit you. (you ran right in it's path)))
Genin:
The genin had recovered from the first genjutsu just to be caught in another. He stared the young girl right in the eyes, for only a fraction of a second before something powerful crashed into his side. he found himself flung several feet where he landed on the ground, clutching his ribs. The attack had dealt a powerful blow. He felt the blood trickling down his side but could not be sure how much damage had been dealt. He stood unsteadily as his hands flashed. His injury was indeed grave, but if they could finish the fight quickly he just might be able to get some medical attention. That was of course assuming his partner wouldn't leave him for dead. A duplicate version of the boy formed beside him and rushed towards the girl Sora. He needed to keep them occupied so his partner could turn the tides of the fight
Pressure clone
Description:Creates a Kazebunshin that bursts outwards when defeated, knocking any ninja off it's feet, or blowing projectiles thrown at it back at the attacker.

There is a dragon hidden in the clouds
Though Hibari's speed was not enought to surpass that of a chuunin, it was surely on the same level of a normal chuunin. His attack did not deal as much damage it could to the enemy's body but he should surely feel the pain for receiving a direct impact with his hands.
Hibari would did not stop with his attacks though. As soon as the enemy was launched backwards, the genin once again prepared himself to attack. Another runic circle of flames was formed in front of him and within the next moments he released another spheric blast of purple flames forward. "Karyuu no Houkou!" He had not paid attention to the attack of the chuunin but the two attacks would end up on the same route as they aimed at each other. If both techniques were on the same level, it could possibly generate an explosion with the impct, and even Hibari was unaware that he sent an attack towards the chuunin's because of how he launched his attack.

 Hibird Hibird Oh God...I forgot to post here, my bad. And concerning Asuka's move, the chuunin's attack would have to deal with my own jutsu before Asuka would be able to know if it would get past Hibari and have the chance of reaching Haruka. By the way, how would that shadow blade react to a sphere of flames with 1 rank advantage in power and that is also a source of light? I didn't see anything concerning how the shadow jutsu reacts to light in the description of the clan so that led me to this doubt. "Enemy Clone!" Sora shouted as her hands began forming seals. Just then, a kunai headed straight at the far left side of the clones back. The kunai had come from the raiton clone Sora had made before entering the fray of battle and the words she had shouted were a signal that marked the target. A moment before the enemy clone would be hit by the kunai if nothing wrong happened, the girl finished her hand signs and murmured, "Yurayura Ranpu no Jutsu," emitting a flash so bright it would disable anyone looking directly at the girl. At the moment, that would most likely include the genin and his clone (if it had survived, that is) at the very least. If the clone had been hit, something Sora would be able to see since the light wasn't blinding her, the girl would move in for a strike, giving the opponent genin no time to recover from the effects of her jutsu or little time to set up a defense should he not have been affected by the bright flash of light. If the clone hadn't been hit, then things got trickier for Sora. Yurayura Ranpu no Jutsu (Flickering Light Technique)
Description: Charging electrical chakra throughout the Cloud-Nin's entire body the shinobi makes his skin light up giving it a bright glow that can allow him to see it at night. With an additional five control one can control this bright glow to make the light flicker, using it as a code or a signal. ((I'm going to move this along a bit anyways, we're starting to stall. sorry about the anticlimax, perhaps you will see the Chuunin return one day (maybe even with a name) to reclaim his glory.))
Chuunin:
The Chuunin watched as the kid threw another fireball at the shadow blade, and whatched the majority of it mix with the blast performing an intimidating ball of shadow and fire. While it didn't have the same explosive force that the fireball would normally have, he would bet that anything that was caught in the blast would get double the force. It was likely that the Chuunin could have defeated the boy alone, but his partner was not looking too good, and as soon as he fell the other Genin would be on him too. So he turned and made a tactical retreat. This battle was not worth the prize, especially if he couldnt be sure there was one anymore.
((Wild Chuunin has fled))
Genin:
The Genin was about to dodge the shadow, when a bright flash caught him. He had dove to avoid the blade, and narrowly missed Sora's kunai. He rolled onto his back and looked around to see the damage of the moon blade, only to see a red and black fireball off to the side. He had dodged nothing... He didn't see his partner flee, but knew the way his mind worked. There was not a lot that could be done at this point. They had suffered a crushing defeat as far as the Genin could see, and he did not stand a chance of fleeing like his partner did. He raised his arms in the standard signal of resignation and sat up waiting for the enemies to make their move.

Sora rounded around the genin so that he was as well surrounded as could be. While focusing on the enemy, the girl asked, "Haruka, how's the client doing? Still alive, right?". Sora felt that it would be best for the group to first deal with the safety of the client and then deal with the matter of what to do with the genin.

Haruka's jutsu was interrupted by the sudden action of Asuka. She did not see why that happened nor how she did that as she had not paid attention to the enemy chuunin, a mistake that could have meant her death. The chuunin sent an attack that would have hit her if it was not for Asuka's movement and Hibari's jutsu. "A-gh..." she said at the moment she was tripped by Asuka.
After she returned her focus and regained her stance, she noticed that the enemy chuunin had fled and the genin surrendered. "She is alive." she said with a displeased voice tone. Asuka was not alive because of their help, but because of her own ability. If it was a different client, it would probably have been the end of the mission. Haruka got back up and offered her hand to help Asuka to get up. Afterwards she would go help Hibari and check if he was injured by the explosion caused by the impact of the two techniques.

((anways, this mission is getting dragged out, and honestly because of that it's getting a bit boring. We'll probably wrap up and head back, then hopefully we can keep the village running as long as we can. I think there are some potentially active RPCs there that can help make Kumo fun again.))
Asuka stood and brushed herself off as the "blood" faded from existence. After straightening her cloak she brushed several dead beetles from her collar. "Right then, we probably should leave in case they return I'm thinking. I don't want to have to die again." She looked back at the crater that was their gear. "Well, all my drawings were lost. Have we at least caught some bugs?" she muttered to the rest, hoping someone had successfully caught a spider. She was obviously avoiding the big question of how she had survived, the dead bugs probably explained her survival, but she had used genjutsu. Even a low level genjutsu simply isn't something that a non-ninja would know. Her cover was probably as good as gone, but she would leave that to the team to bring up.

A blue jay flew to the bug forest with a note tied to it's leg. The note read "Nagisa in Konoha with Ken for the chuunin exams. You can send the genin here and I'll watch them until the exams are over. - Kensei Uchiha" The bird landed on Sora's shoulder waiting for someone to take the note.

Sora's eyes were wide with shock at first but then frowning concentration a moment later and then wide once more as she realized that she did have a bug on her. "Oh, here, I managed to catch one!" the girl exclaimed as she pulled out the seal that she had trapped the bug in and then handed it over to Asuka while thinking, . At this point, Sora once more had an expression of shock on her face. Luckily for her and Nagisa, though, the convenient timing of the blue jay that landed on Sora's shoulder had the genin turn her head to look at the bird at the instant her expression changed. The end result: Sora looked as if she was extremely shocked at the blue jay for some strange reason. With a shake of her head, the girl quickly regained control of her face muscles, and then took the note from the blue jay. She read the short letter out loud, "Nagisa in Konoha with Ken for the chuunin exams. You can send the genin here and I'll watch them until the exams are over. Signed, Kensei Uchiha." The girl tilted her head after reading the letter as she went over the first part again. "Ah," the girl sounded out shortly and quietly as she though,
Looking up, Sora tried to judge everyone's reactions to the letter. Before speaking her own thoughts, she would let the others say what's on their mind. However, personally, as much as Sora wanted to attend the chuunin exams, she did not think it would be either wise or proper to simply have Asuka return to Kumo unescorted.
