Oh I know, but remember what I had said earlier? How if someone wants to convince me and change my mind I need facts a passion. Some people have given me facts, and some people have given me passion... Never both at the same time though.
She moved her finger along the desk, drawing out pictures as they crossed her mind. She began to hum a gentle tune, like a lullaby.

Deep in thought, Tuomas poured the water into the two cups and started to seep the herbal tea bags.

What's on your mind? Please, I would love to hear anything you have to say. It would help my research immensely and it will also help me better understand you.
She looked up at Tuomas and watched him as he prepared the herbal drink.

Tuomas brought the tea over to the table and sat beside her.
"I tend to be very quiet, so I apologize. I was actually-"
A dark voice echoed through the tower and into Tuomas' mind.
Tuomas, further precautions need to be made. Move your research as well as Ari to the Crystal room immediately. Ryn has escaped from the dungeon and your location has been revealed.
Tuomas looked around, but nodded in understanding before turning back to face Kirche.
"Forgive me, but I must attend to my duties."
He bowed respectfully.
"You may remain and look through the books if you wish."

She bowed her head and turned to the book she had glanced at earlier. She sipped her tea and began reading.
The boy left with the sleeping maiden, and Kirche pondered what could have occured. Trying not to be nosey she sat and waited patiently while browsing the books and even glancing at some of the chemicals.

As she finished browsing yet another book, she took her last sip of the tea and stood up from her stool. She straightened up the room and piled the books up in a stack unknowing of where Mister Tuomas kept them. She cleaned her cup and placed it back where she had seen Tuomas remove it from. Before she left she found a sheet of paper and a pen and wrote a note which said,
"I greatly enjoyed my time with you. Please come and find me anytime you wish to chat again.
~Kirche"
And she left the room

As the flames from the burning wreckage of the lab subsided. a few large pieces of debris shifted to reveal a figure. His clothing was tattered and singed as he stumbled forward to the gaping hole facing to the outer courtyard. He coughed, desperately trying to catch his breath and regain some sense of where he was as a noise from below caught his attention. Two beings were engaged in combat with each other near the grand gazebo. Peering closer, he recognized one of the men as Luferius, the Captain of the Royal Guards. The other was somewhat more difficult to decipher. Catching snippets of the conversation, the man's countenance became grave. He would have to draw closer.
