Following Akori’s example Ion wiped the small amount of grime that she had picked up while cleaning. She just kept close to Akori and tried her best not to embarrass herself more. She looked around the room and noticed that even though it was obvious that no one had been in this room for quite some time it didn’t look as dusty as she had suspected. She then saw that Akori was in front of her further in the room so she trotted to catch up. Her voice was a whisper of awe. “this is a b-i-g room.”

Akori laughed a bit and nodded. "well it is to be expected Modeities themselves are extremely large or so Horus tells us. Even larger than tribe guardians and those are bigger than daeva's" he pointed out. Having cleaned all that he could He made a note to tell his father when Kaname was better and turned towards the little shrine/house/Boat looking thing. Carefully grabbing the food he lay it on the offering platform and held the incense chanting the prayer for Osiris.

Ion watched Akori go up and place the food in the shrine. She didn’t want to come to close to it afraid she would upset the modeity so she hung back a bit and listened quietly while Akori chanted. When he finished she trotted up to him and smiled. “You looked really cool up there.” She blushed not meaning to let that slip. “Ah well. So shall we go collect some herbs and see the elephants?” She fidgeted a bit wanting to spend as much with Akori as possible. He was just so amazing.

Akori blushed back. He looked cool. No one had really ever said that about the orange lace covered phim. Mostly all of the complements went to his brother Marius. He paused and shook his head hoping to kill the blush that way. "ah okay herb collecting sounds good" he pointed out doing one last look of the temple before turning towards the exit. Maybe after the elephants Akori could ask the question that was on the back of his mind.... maybe.

Ion smiled from ear to ear as she trotted out the way she came in. “Well just point out what kind of plants to pick.” Her tail was wagging as Ion was imagining coming to meet Akori’s family and being useful to them. The air felt good and Ion’s heart was light. She wondered what they would be able to do after the elephants… come to think on it what did elephants look like exactly? She was excited and wasn’t sure how things were going to go today but they just felt like something amazing was coming.

Akori on the other hand was thinking of the safest way to watch the elephants. They would still be next to the river and the plants he needed where also on the river bank. Hopefully they wouldnt be too angry or jumpy today. Elephants had a weird color of narbles and where taller than even tribe guardians. "Alright I will, so you'll know what to pick and I can look out for the crocodiles" Akori told her. He hoped nothing like yesterday happened again but he did have his mother's luck if not to the same extent

Looking back Ion more or less lead the way out of the temple. She sort of knew the way to the river but still waited for Akori to be certain. After all getting lost in the desert would be a wrench in her plans. Smiling she nodded feeling safe under Akori’s watchful eye. He knew what to look for and she trusted him completely. Who knows maybe they’d have a nice walk picking herbs without any fox eating lizards trying to take a bite out of her today. "Ok. I'm all ready to go."

Akori sighed and stared at the said plant, which was only a few yards from both the crocodiles and the elephants. Hopefully said elephants wouldn't get too spooked by their presence and the crocodiles would be more focused on the elephants by them. he carefully inched Ion and him towards the patch of flowers and sighed. Was seth in charge of the tribe today. Normally he had pretty good luck. Well maybe every thing would go smoothly. "ah well those are elephants" he pointed out. "and that blue flower with the purple streaks is the herb we need" he stated

Oogling the elephants Ion was shocked at how big they were! If one of them stepped on her she would be flat and most definitely sore… She nodded and then looked to the fox eating lizards with a frown. She didn’t want to get close to them. Dropping to her belly she slowly crawled to the plant. She looked around her and didn’t see any immediate danger. Though Akori probably had a better view. She reached forward and snagged the flower. She saw some ripples in the water and hightailed it back to Akori without looking back. A slash sounded from behind her but she was too scared to look. She proudly presented the herb to Akori. “Here you go.”

Akori smiled and took the plant placing it safely in a little bag he had grabbed from the temple and looked over towards the elephants. He needed only a couple more flowers for the medicine and it just happened to be right in the middle of the elephants. He didnt think he could handle watching Ion walk in between them knowing they could freak out. He looked over at her before slowly inching in between the elephants. They looked down at him and he looked up which continued for a few more seconds before they went back to ignoring him he quickly grabbed the plant and high taled it out of there. "So I guess start making our way back to the tribe?" Akori stated.

She didn’t realize she was holding her breath until Akori was back beside her. Her breath came out in a rush. “Woow. Weren’t you scared you could have gotten crushed?” Ion really really wanted to scold Akori and tell him that he nearly killed her by doing that but she could yell at the male who had given her so much. Instead she fidgeted and bit her lip. “Y-Yeah I’m ready to head to the tribe with you. I’m a little nervous about meeting your family though.” What if they don’t like me? What if they send me away. It’s not like Akori can tell them to accept me or lump it.. they are his family. They come first. It’s not like I’m his mate after all. Her fears drove out her concern and anger at Akori for risking his life a moment ago. After all he was safe.. she was walking into what could be a fire. I don’t want have to leave Akori.
(and where do you wanna stick the orphan in the tribe?)

" I was a bit but then I thought 'I have things to do I cant get crushed here'. I refused get all worked up and scared here and if I believe in my self then everything should work out right" Akori stated tilting his head to the side. "Dont be nervous. Aunt Hallow should like you enough and Mother is really kind and gets along with everyone and since Mother will like you Father will like you. Marius might be the only problem but Marius is awesome so he'll be okay eventually too and I was thinking maybe I could um... possibly, perhaps if you agree, I mean you probably dont even want to but.... maybe I could introduce you as my mate" he said getting lower and lower in decibels as he talked.

How on earth can he be so calm? Ion thought as he explained how he handled the fear of being crushed by an elephant. Ion looked at Akori carefully when he started speaking about his family. He was just so certain that she would be accepted that Ion felt herself starting to believe or at least hope for his words to ring true. She leaned in as His voice lowered his voice. She blinked when he spoke of introducing her as his mate. She opened her mouth and had to close it again. From the sounds of it he didn’t think she wanted to be his mate. Does he know that I like him in that way? Well I suppose he might not since I can’t ever seem to work up enough nerve to tell him. Unable to articulate her desire Ion opened and closed her mouth another time trying to find the words to let him know that that was exactly what she wanted. After a moment Ion gave up on all reason and dignity and kissed Akori on the lips and tried to show him that way that she was ok with his plan.
(Scribe please. If Ion is a carer she will lose her mind always worrying over kits…. >.> I’d like to keep most of foxes at least halfway sane if that’s ok with you.)

Akori watched as she acted like a fish for a little bit and his mood balanced weirdly on a shaky ledge. Was she acting like this because he had over stepped his bounds. could he dare hope some one wanted to be with some one as weird as him? Then all of a sudden he was being kissed and his mind had decided it was a brillant time to go on vacation. He... akori, the weird little narble kit was getting kissed by a girl. A girl he had liked. "ah... um... I guess that would be a yes?" he stated shakily. inwardly he believed he could go and win a wrestling match with those crocodiles.

Ion nodded her head shyly. “Y-yes. I would really like to be introduced as your mate.” Ion shifted her wait and smiled at Akori. She felt like she could skip and dance. Her tail was waging behind her as she looked at Akori letting his image fill her mind and burn itself there. He was going to be her mate. She would be meeting and a apart of his tribe, and his family. She felt as though she had found a place she belonged. Taking a step forward she nuzzled Akori. He felt so soft and good.
