Riyo's eyes shot over to Blade as he mentioned leaving, then over to Klyde as he subtlety asked him to stay. Riyo knew how awkward the situation was, but what the hell could she do?
"Y-yeah. What about food?" Riyo asked, following Klyde's lead. She didn't particularly want to be left alone with this stranger just because he was a relative.
"Food?" Jess asked, eyes lighting up at the idea of being able to spend money. "Oh! What's the most expensive place around? We'll go there, my treat." He said in a giddy nature, apparently not worried about spending money on Blade or the vampire... considering the vampire probably wouldn't eat and there was no way he could get rid of him this early in the game.
Riyo cringed at the idea of a fancy-pants restaurant, not wanting to be the thing everybody stared at... Again. "It's that little diner right down the street. We're a poor town, yes we are." Riyo tried to sound convincing... Though Jess didn't buy it.
"What? Don't you want to eat expensive steak?" The vocalist pouted.
Well, yeah. Riyo liked the food... But was it worth the humiliation?
Sighing, she looked towards Blade. "You want a free meal at a fancy place?"

Eyes softening, he nodded to Mitsu, glad that she had enjoyed the music at least. The expression vanished in an instant as he saw a group of guys hovering around his bike. Narrowing his eyes, he stepped out in front of Mitsu and approached.
"Get the ******** away from my bike," he growled at the lot.
----
Raising a brow at Klyde, Blade tried to remember if he was going to do that. He supposed so, though he didn't have much of a chance to dwell on it when Jess jumped on the opportunity to offer to take them all to some fancy restaurant.
"Only if I don't have to dress up for it," he replied to Riyo before looking at the vocalist.

The guys standing around seemed to be chatting about something but their conversation came to a quick halt when one of them spotted Shun.
"Hey, I think that's the guy," He nudged one of his companions in the arm pointing in Shun's direction.
The leader, or at least that was how he appeared, looked around to see the assassin approaching. "Yeah, that's the guy." Smirk now on his face he leaned against the bike Shun had just told them to step away from. "We've been waitin' here for you so patiently and all you have to say is get the ******** away from the bike?"
They all looked to be part of a gang but which was certainly unclear. There was nothing to identify them with one group or another, though they all looked rather brutish.
"Look at what he has with him," Another of the group pointed to Mitsu who had stayed back when Shun had stepped forward. Now under the gaze of the men Mitsu shrunk back a bit more not sure what was going to happen.
"S..Shun? What's...going on?" Mitsu asked quietly.
"I'll tell ya what's goin' on," The leader spoke up to answer. "This little twit has a world of hurt coming to him. You thought you'd just walk away clean from that little restaurant incident didn't you? It's been a couple of months but we've gathered back our forces and we'll be sure to snuff you and your family outta this turf." The leader growled.
---
It looked like Klyde had managed to snag some company to suffer with, though he wasn't too thrilled about the fancy restaurant idea. He wasn't going to protest though, it wasn't like he was going to eat. If Riyo wanted to go he would follow.
"I guess lead the way," He said softly waiting for Riyo to take the lead.
((The restaurant should be the one Klyde got fired from lol))

"Wouldn't dream of it." Father and daughter said in an almost creepy unison as a response to Blade, Riyo immediately looking up at Jess.
"Haha, half the fun of going to expensive restaurants is pissing off the tight-wads that go there." He explained, a little wink following his words.
Raising an eyebrow, Riyo shrugged. "Alright then.. This way I guess."
As they were about there, Jess let out a huff from all the walking they had to do, but made no verbal complaints. "So... what happened with your mother?" He asked, trying not to appear too curious about it.
"Ask her yourself." Riyo responded, opening the door and holding it. Her eyes said she was more annoyed than bothered, but that was because she was making an effort to do so.
(( yes it should be. ))

Once they spoke back, it only took Shun a moment to realize just who these guys were. Narrowing his eyes some, his hands went into his pockets as he stepped forth.
"You really shouldn't try to take on things you can't beat," he growled at the group before looking back at Mitsu, "I think they're looking for some revenge... Just stay back and I'll handle this."
"I'll just say this one more time boys... get the ******** away from my bike," he repeated. Anger was evident in his eyes as he didn't slow down his advance at all.
---
Blinking at the two, Blade found it a little amusing at their response but he didn't voice it out. Following Klyde to where they needed to go, he glanced back at the concert once more before turning his attention back to those that were here.
It seemed that Jess was pretty curious of what happened with his ex, but the thief felt he should probably just drop it and try to ask some other time when Riyo was more willing to speak up and such.

Klyde followed Riyo to their destination none the wiser to where they were going until she started to approach the restaurant in question. When he spotted the place he held back a moan hoping no one would recognize him. He hadn't been there more than two days but those two days hadn't been that long ago. Oh well here was hoping.
Once inside the group was greeted by a host, a rather well dressed younger man in his early twenties. He was rather nice on the eyes and dressed in black slacks with a red dress shirt. "Welcome." His voice was as smooth as honey, his smile warm and welcoming on its own. No wonder he was put up front. "How many in your...party?" He faltered a little seeing their dress but didn't say a word about it smiling despite that. His duty was to be a host not a fashion critic.
---
"If you hadn't noticed you're a little outnumbered," The leader grinned rather wickedly standing up as Shun started to advance. Apparently they didn't care about an honest or fair fight. "As for the bike..." Bringing up his leg the leader back kicked the bike almost like a mule sending the bike back a couple of feet before toppling over. "There, now I'm away from it."
His group of thugs came up to his side as if sensing a fight was on, there eyes focused on the assassin as he continued his approach though a pair of eyes here and there went back to the girl curious to where she was.
"S..Shun be careful," Mitsu warned softly really wishing they could just walk at the moment. The movie theater wasn't that far after all... When Shun's bike was kicked away Mitsu held back a yelp concerned about where this was going. What should she do? Should she go get help? But what would happen to Shun in the mean time?

Smirking as the waiter faltered, Jess leaned up against the podium the man stood at. "Hey there slick. Table for 4 please." He said smugly, slightly hoping the man would be paranoid about their social status and ability to pay for an expensive place. It was more fun that way, after all.
Riyo was... Slightly embarrassed at how under-dressed she was for such a fancy place. Just looking around at the people made it painfully obvious they'd stand out like sore thumbs... And while her father appeared to like that, Riyo enjoyed not standing out.
While Jess appeared to be distracted, Riyo reached back to grab Klyde's hand. He... Didn't look all that happy. Then again, neither did she. And she couldn't imagine Blade was either.

"I was outnumbered and out gunned at the restaurant," retorted Shun who paused when he saw his bike suddenly get kicked down. Twitching as a result of that, he remained where he was, having noticed a few of the men had glanced towards Mitsu.
"What are you waiting for? You want revenge right, tough guys?" he hissed.
----
Looking around the restaurant, it really didn't take much to see that their little group of four stood out by a lot. Jess seemed to get a kick out of this sort of thing, though.
Rubbing the back of his neck, Blade followed the waiter to their table. He wasn't exactly embarrassed... but he wasn't feeling all too comfortable here either. Mainly, it was the feeling of not belonging here. Even if he was in some fancy clothes, he doubted he'd feel like he fit.
That didn't stop him from swiping some fancy guy's wallet as they walked by.

"Doesn't look like you have a fancy little hiding spot this time." The leader smirked reaching into his pocket and pulling out a rather large butterfly knife, flipping it open with ease. The guys around him pulled out knives of their own before they advanced, the two immediately to his sides lunging toward Shun, both knives slashing at his middle as they approached.
While they were busy attacking another of the group slipped around and toward Mitsu. The wolf girl seemed rather focused on her friend and his immediate danger so she didn't even see the thug coming closer until it was too late.
The man's hand reached out and grabbed around Mitsu's shoulders and her middle and brought her close to him. "Hello, Love." He smiled down at her.
Mitsu took in a deep gasp when she was snatched up, eyes going wide as she looked over her shoulder at the thug. With a quick shriek she drew her foot up and then back, surprisingly landing a kick in the guy's shin.
----
Feeling the hand on his Klyde gave Riyo's a return squeeze, it seemed to be her way of comforting without saying anything...which Klyde appreciated. From there he stood in silence while the exchange between Jess and the Host took place.
"Four you say?" The host looked over the group once again a little doubtful but he was still always smiling. "We have a bit of a wait at the moment," Which wasn't true in the least but it gave him an opportunity to feed them another line. "Perhaps you would like to look over the menu while you wait?" He had a feeling if they went in they would only dine and ditch but he couldn't help but notice that one of them looked a little....familiar. "Is...that you, Klyde?"
Klyde's grip on Riyo's hand tightened momentarily but he didn't say a word. He just ignored the guy like his name wasn't actually Klyde and he had called to someone else.
"Klyde, I know that's you..." The host continued looking disapproving but still gathering up the menus. "If the manager finds you here he'll be very displeased."
Looking up Klyde sneered. "Listen, I dunno who you're talking to but you've got the wrong guy. Do you mind taking us to a seat...there are plenty open." Klyde pointed off passed the lobby to the mass of empty tables.
With a light sigh the host gave a nod, "Can't say I didn't warn you..." He said softly and mostly to himself while he took the menus in hand and stepped away from the podium. "Well, it seems we do have a couple of empty tables after all...right this way." What a cover up, but he was quick to lead them in not bothering to wait for comments.

Jess gave a scoff at the usher's attempt to shock and awe them with the prices. What a little p***k. But before he could say something, their little vampire 'friend' apparently had unwanted ties to this restaurant. How... Interesting and amusing at the same time.
As the usher called out Klyde's name, she looked back at him with a hint of confusion. Generally the vampire was met with lavishing comments because of the social status of his family... But this man seemed downright irritated to even be in his presence. And then there was the fact that Klyde was pretending that his name didn't ring a bell. What the ********?
"Yeah, there are empty seats. C'mon slick, we have as much of a right to be here as the stiffs in suits." Jess heckled as they were led back to a table, the smile never fading from his lips.
To say Riyo was... Embarrassed of her father was only half-right. While yes, he was annoying as s**t... He had a point. And to hear him call out these people on what she was thinking was rather... Satisfying.
Taking a seat at the head of the table, Jess looked like he was about to call the knights of the round table to order. Waiting for the a*****e to leave, the vocalist leaned in. "Alright kids, get what you want... and try to make it as expensive as possible. Lets ruffle their feathers, shall we?"

"I don't need cover with little shits like you," snapped Shun as he brought his hands out of his pockets, a blade in each hand. He had been expecting their attack so he dodged the strikes as he stepped closer to one of the lackeys to try and drive one of his knives between his ribcages.
The assassin heard Mitsu gasp, so he started to move on towards her if possible to try and keep her within his line of sight.
-----
Narrowing his eyes at the usher, Blade soon gave Klyde an odd look as the vampire was apparently known around here. He didn't know the story behind it all so he was rather confused on what could have happened. Then again, he supposed it didn't matter a whole lot.
The thief also had to give Jess some props for calling the waiter out like that.
Sitting down, he glanced around at the surrounding tables before looking at the menu. The prices were definitely... up there for sure. Staring at the choices, the steak was calling his attention more than anything else. Though, he still felt really weird being here.

Shun's counter attack was dodged, but just barely. His knife still cleanly sliced through one of the guys jackets, leaving a small cut along his side. With a growl the guy redoubled his efforts in attacking and lunged toward Shun aiming for the arm with the knife while his companion came from the other side, aiming a fist to the head.
Once Mitsu's kick to the shin made contact the thug let go with a yelp having not expected any sort of retaliation from the girl. "Why you little b***h!" He growled grabbing for his own knife.
It took a few seconds for Mitsu to get her bearings, normally she would be frozen in fear but this time she managed to collect her feet underneath herself and dart away from the man beside her. She didn't want to stray far though afraid to leave Shun alone, so she circled the perimeter, staying far away from the action.
"Get back here you little whelp!" The thug called after her, giving chase.
----
Being up front the host merely rolled his eyes since no one could really see him. Sure, they deserved to be here, but could they afford to be? More concerned about them ordering, eating, and leaving without paying the bill the host was going to be sure to tell the manager. "I'm sure you do, Sir. Right this way." His tone was hard to place but he lead them to a table none the less, placing the menus down and allowed them to take a seat. "Your server will be with you shortly."
With a sigh Klyde took a seat. He was hopeful that no other trouble would be stirred up...and was very doubtful that it wouldn't be with Riyo's father acting the way he was.
Not even bothering to look at the menu since he wasn't going to get anything, Klyde looked to the other two. "So what are you going to get?" He was going to do his best to just...ignore the problem for now and act like what had just happened in the lobby hadn't actually happened.

As the usher turned around, Jess promptly gave him a middle finger, gaining a couple of gasps from around them. Though he didn't particularly care who saw.
Riyo couldn't help but sneer at the usher a little herself, the attitude they were getting from the establishment less than acceptable... Though when she noticed her father flipping the man off her eyes widened. What the ******** was he thinking?
"Um..." Pulling her eyes away from her 'parental figure', Riyo looked down at the menu. "Filet mingnon... Which is just a fancy way of saying beef wrapped in bacon." And expensive. When Klyde took her to these kinds of restaurants, she tried to order something cheap because she felt bad for spending all his (parents) money, but since this was her old man, she could give less of a ********. "And the wine."
Jess looked up from his menu at the sound of an alcoholic beverage being uttered from his daughter's mouth. "You're not old enough to drink." He mumbled, glaring out from behind the laminated paper.
"Haha!" Riyo immediately exclaimed with a smile... Then she saw the look in his eyes. "Oh... You're serious." He was really keen on playing this concerned parent bit, wasn't he? Well... "Mother let me drink." Riyo pointed out and glanced to the side.
"Your mother was an alcoholic." Jess pointed out and glanced back down at his menu, apparently shutting the book on that.
Glancing back and fourth from Klyde to Blade, Riyo looked both unimpressed and worried. This meant she'd actually have to sneak liquor around, didn't it?
"So, Clark." The vocalist called, looking Klyde's direction. Did he realize he'd gotten his name wrong? It was hard to tell. "How'd that douche know your name?"

Narrowly dodging the next slash, Shun heard one of the guys giving chase to Mitsu. With a low growl, he broke away from the ones before them and charged straight for their friend. He tried to come up from behind to attempt to stick both knives down into his backside.
"Leave her alone!" he hissed out, "Your fight is with me" ------
"I was kinda thinking the same," Blade said quietly, though he looked up at Jess as he took on the parental role for them not being old enough. Though, he supposed it'd be tricker to get alchohol in this sort of place at their age anyway, unless she happened to have her fake on her.
Silently and somewhat awkwardly, he just stared down at the menu.

The guys fighting Shun were suddenly confused when the assassin broke away from them to chase after their comrade. Not liking being ignored they gave chase as well, reaching out for Shun's jacket and arms, fingers clawing for anything they could grab.
Their friend, was not so lucky when it came to avoiding Shun's attacks. The knives cleanly pierced through his back into his lungs impairing his ability to breath. For a moment shock was the only thing on his face before he yelled out in pain, his back arching forward trying to get away from the sharp objects impaling him. He didn't get far though as he soon collapsed, his lungs filling with blood which he coughed up in a vain effort to breath.
"Jimmy!" The leader yelled out, anger very apparent in his eyes. "Why you son of a b***h!" The leader had a knife in hand but he quickly discarded it for a different weapon. Pulling out a small handgun he pointed it toward the assassin before taking a hasty shot. His aim was probably off but the direction was fairly good.
Mitsu's eyes widened when she saw Shun run her attacker through, holding back a scream as the guy started to cough up blood. It was like the restaurant incident all over again and to add to that effect there was a gun blast shortly after. The loud noise left Mitsu's ears ringing despite the earplugs, her body going rigid as her legs refused to move at that point.
---
"Filet Mignon?" Klyde didn't have anything against the normal food that humans ate, especially the sweets, but the smell of cooked flesh was often unbearable. That's why he was thankful Riyo got her meat mostly raw.
Listening to the short exchange about drinks Klyde gave a shrug when Riyo looked his way. He had nothing to offer, his parents let him drink but he had nothing against helping Riyo get alcohol if that's what she wanted. He really didn't see her dad being much of an obstacle.
Klyde had just started playing with his silverware out of boredom when Jess asked him a question. And what a dozy of a question it was accompanied by the name 'Clark.' Did he honestly think that was his name or was he doing that on purpose? "Klyde....and like hell if I know." He was obviously lying staring intently at his plate and silverware that would go unused in this venture.
"You're rather quiet, Blade, why don't you offer up something for the conversation." He was kind of throwing Blade under the bus but he really didn't want the focus on him...which was a strange turn of events for the vampire. Normally he would soak up the attention like a sponge, but at the moment it was making him feel uncomfortable and....something else.
