Ѳne ɦand σn ϯhe ϯrigger... ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ╔══════════════════════════╗ Rain walked around the hallways very casually, not in any hurry to find her first class. She wasn't too fond of school -- part of the reason why she'd never taken the time to go. She was more of a hands-on learner. Her time in Fortree, watching Winona from outside the Gym, and in Team Rocket helped shape her fighting style. She didn't really *need* to be there, but she figured it would be better to have a future open up to her this way than to try to find one by herself. After all, every single one of her attempts had failed. Not good.
She walked by the photography room and wondered how people could think that taking pictures of pokemon as their career would possibly be fulfilling. Of course, people could say that about her and her attempts to make Team Rocket a permanent "career" of sorts as well. She shook her head and walked down the hallway, looking into each of the rooms briefly to see what kind of class each contained.
"All of these classes seem so...mediocre. I still don't know what I want to do." she said to her partner as the two walked. She stopped at the end and looked out of the window at the grounds below. "I guess I should go to class though, shouldn't I?" She laughed at her Absol's face and nodded. "Alright, alright, let's go. Wouldn't want to keep them waiting." She kept chuckling as she slowly made her way to the double battles room.╚══════════════════════════╝ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ...Ѳne ɦand σn ϯhe ɦeart.

Chase Chavez slowly trudged his way down the halls, staring at the pattern on the floor as if memorizing it would give him a hint of comfort in the school which was so obviously new to him. Quite frankly, he had no idea where to go, but he didn't let it bother him, he hardly cared because he knew that the staff would be lenient on the first day. After all, how could you be angry at a student for being tardy to class when they had no way of knowing how to get there? He pulled a folded paper from his pocket which contained his schedule. Double battle class is first? Really...? He sighed as he put the paper back into his pocket. He had never been the battling sort, much less a boy in support for double battles, for all he had was a lone Absol named "Strike". Chase stopped still an looked around for a bit as he fiddled around with the Pokeball attached to his belt. He noticed several tardy students making their way into a specific room. Curious as to whether this was the double battle room, the mid-teen made his way over to take a peek through the door. His assumption was confirmed by the numerous amount of paired trainers and double battle related posters that decorated the room within. He entered slowly, and glanced at the teacher near the front of the room, "Sorry I'm late... he said, flipping the hair out of his bright gray eyes, then he quietly sunk himself into a desk in the back corner.

"Oh right... my turn, sorry partner."
Loki the Eevee was nipping at Joon's ear, begging to get into battle.
"Alright, Lokie, go ahead," and with that Lokie pounced off Joons shoulder just ready to put her tricks to good use.

"Riolu and Eevee, huh?" Dalton thought. "Aralyn, are you ready to battle?" He looked over to his partner, and the near clueless expression made Dalton want to drop to his knees in adoration. "Xatu, start off the battle, Confuse Ray on that Eevee!" The green bird stood with its wings folded in. As Dalton gave the command, its eyes glowed blue, and it suddenly flashed opened its wings. "Oh, and one more thing. Josh, good luck to you and your partner."

Raiu sat down as the battle started to take place. The Xatu opened up with a Confuse Ray. Shinx hopped up on the desk and onto Raiu's head. Raiu was taking mental notes of the battle as it raged on.
Xatu and Marril versus Eevee and Riolu... Already the Xatu team has the advantage. Xatu is the more powerful Pokemon on the field. It opened up with Confuse Ray... Status affliction on the first move. Lower your opponents ability to battle before starting to dish out attacks. So that's how this guy fights.
Raiu noticed the little electric cat on his head. Shinx was Electric-type, so it could paralyze its opponents. Maybe that could give him an edge.
After the Eevee was left stumbling in Confusion the door opened. A tall student with piercing black hair and gray eyes walked in and sat down in the back corner.
Oh good. I'm not the last one here. I wonder if anyone else is going to come. This class doesn't look too interesting as it is.

Lynda silently thanked the girl, who she noticed was quite shy. Even more so than herself. She quickly walked over to an empty desk and plopped down on the seat, hoping the teacher would cut some slack for her since it was her first day at the school.

Oh no, not good
"Come on Loki, you can do it!" Joon tried to encourage Loki, but the confuse ray was taking its toll on her. But Joon can see Loki's sheer determination within her eyes.
Well my partner looks like he needs some help, that Xatu can wait.
"Loki, try and help Riolu out with Helping Hand!"
Loki tried all she can to focus on Riolu, but as soon as her eyes fell on the little pokemon they quickly looked away, dancing in confusion.
Then Budew pitched in. She chanted Loki to keep going on. That's all Loki needed, for a few seconds, she was able to focus on the Riolu and perform Helping Hand.
"Alright man, hit'em hard," encouraged Joon to Josh.

nitori watched the confused eevee impresive confuse ray.... cant say helping hand was the best option though... she said as she watched the battle

She walked from one end of the hall to the other and soon came across the room she was looking for.
"Well doesn't this look boring." she said to her partner as the two walked in. She didn't bother addressing her tardiness, nor did she speak to the professor. She took a place near the back of the room and watched with feigned interest as the battle before her unfolded.╚══════════════════════════╝ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ...Ѳne ɦand σn ϯhe ɦeart.

~Flandre Scarlet~ Flandre took her Arcanine by the mane and slowly walked her way to a desk at the front of the class so she could pay extra attention.
Arcanine sat next to her side as loyal and as loving as ever. "I hope no one here tries to talk to me..." she said as she lowered her head. "May as well brush your hair a little Arcanine, you're so messy," she said with a happy smile and pulled out a brush from her bag. She started brushing her Arcanine's fur and mane.
"There ya go," she said with a smile, "Nice and clean and beautiful." Her Arcanine looked back with a loving smile that showed the full capacity of the bond between the two friends. "I wonder what I'm going to learn today. I can't wait for class to start." she said to her Arcanine while continuing to brush his fur.

Raiu noticed yet another late student walk into the classroom. But this one was different. She was... beautiful. She was followed by an Absol and had an absolute not caring expression. She didn't even announce her lateness. Raiu watched her as she sat down in the back of the room. He saw that she noticed him and he gave her a quick smile. Then turned around and thought he must look absolutely stupid with Shinx on his head...

"This place will either be very interesting, or a complete nightmare," she said with a sigh as she leaned back in her seat. The battle in front of her really didn't look all that interesting. The pokemon didn't seem like anything special, that's for sure. Of course, the people on the other hand....
Rain was always one to watch people. She enjoyed seeing how they handled things. They usually did such a good job making fools of themselves. It was hard not to enjoy something like that.╚══════════════════════════╝ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ...Ѳne ɦand σn ϯhe ɦeart.

Silver Gurufine  Silver caught the battery in surprise, looking at the boy who had thrown them to her. "Thanks," she said, smiling brightly. She popped them into her camera, putting the dead battery into her vest pocket. "Hm..."
Looking back at him, she gave him a calculative once-over. "Uh...Dillon, right?" she said, her tone unsure. now, the party don't start 'til I walk in.
