Taryn sat down on the grass and opened her pack. From inside, she pulled out some herbs and clean wraps. Taryn mixed some of the herbs and water together, then took some water and cleaned the blood off of his arm. Next, she applied the herd-water mixture to it, and wrapped it tightly.
"There."

Taryn looked over at Eztli.
"Oh he's just pouting." Taryn said with a smile. She got to her feet and walked over to the sulking creature. "Don't be sad, Eztli." She petted his thick fur. Eztli scooted away, still pouting.
"Oh come on." Taryn said walking over to him. She was dwarfed next to this massive beast, but Taryn was in no way afraid of him. She scratched his head and he abandoned his sulking.
"See, that's better."

"I need to send Eztli back to the other side now anyway." Taryn said, petting him. Eztli wasn't pleased about the idea of leaving her alone with this strange man, but Taryn was his master, and she got to choose. Bowing his head he backed away.
"Goodbye Eztli." Taryn said, smiling at him. Picking her staff up, she began sending him away. This dance was only similar to the first. They weren't exactly the same. Soon a gale brushed across the clearing again, and Ezli disappered into a great sweeping of wind.
When she had finished, Taryn collapsed onto the ground, exhausted once more.

Taryn followed him, tired both physically and spiritually. Summoning is difficult and drainging, and Taryn hadn't summoned her demon in a very long time.

In the dream, she sat in a field beside a lake. Zentaro stood out on the water, walking towards her. He was saying something, but she couldn't hear him over the waves. She stood and walked to the edge of the lake and called out to him. He beckoned her out onto the water. Taryn shook her head. She couldn't walk on water. Her shook his head and gestured for her to join him. Taryn looked down at the water and took a step out onto it. At first she stood upon it, solid and firm, but in an instant, she fell below it surface and drowned.
Taryn woke up with a start. She knew she just had an unpleasant dream, but she couldn't recall what had happened. Something about water... No the dream was gone.
