"I really do think you should! It's never good to keep thinks secret anyway~" Gwyn giggled to herself. Would it be hypocritical of me if I was keeping a secret too? Gwyn mauled the thought over the thought in her mind. She still kept up with Kit and still had a smile on her face.

Kithara hummed to herself, turning to Gwyneth, nodding. "I see." She mewled, sitting on her haunches and looking at the sky, sighing to herself. Fine, she could do this, right? Of course she could. She could battle wolves! So, this was easy compared to that! Then again, feelings were hard to express.
"Gwyneth."
Her eyes looked to the side, glancing over back at Gwyneth before humming in her throat, thinking over her options. She could back out, wait longer? See if Gwyneth even felt the same?
No! She was an Elder, it was time to act like one!
"Gwyneth, I care for you."

Gwyn giggled. "Oh I knew that! You care for everyone in the tribe." She smiled at the Elder. But she did wonder why she needed to say that to her. Of course Gwyn knew Kithara cared. Kithara even watched her as a kit. Then something popped up in Gwyn's head. Maybe she means something else... Her cheeks flushed thinking about it. Was 'care' supposed to be 'love'? She became quiet for a moment. "Well, I care for you too Kithara."

She was failing. Worse than she had failed ever before. How was she supposed to say how she felt to Gwyneth? How was she supposed to express herself? She focused on the female, shaking her head. She had to admit, simply saying the words care were not good enough.
"No." She grumbled, looking at Gwyneth further. "I care." There she went again! She could make this work, right? "As in, if anyone was your mate I would feel heartbroken. If anyone made you theirs I would grow jealous." She shook her head, looking to the side.
"As your Elder, I'd have no right to feel that way. You are my clan-mate, yet I feel this way for you."

Gwyn smiled and blushed. She would really feel that way if she was already taken? She totally understood what Kit was trying to tell her. "Actually... You have every right to feel however which way you want." She chuckled lightly and looked over Kithara. "Kithara?" Gwyn stepped close to her and nuzzled her neck the rested her head on her shoulder. "I" she paused briefly "Love you." Gwyn closed her eyes, the first time saying it, and meaning it, was always the hardest.

"You love me?" She whispered, shaking her head and backing away. She was unsure what to say back. She loved her? Did she? Was she ready for not only a commitment to her tribe, but to a mate as well? What if they had kids? Was she ready for this life-style as not only Elder, but as a mother?

Gwyn's heart was about to burst, she couldn't contain the pure joy she felt when Kithara said those words back. She glomped Kithara, knocking into her. Her tail wagged almost uncontrollably. She was the happiest fox alive. She nuzzled Kithara lovingly. "I'm sorry if I'm over reacting." Gwyn smiled and giggled at her new mate.

Kithara laughed, letting herself be knocked over and curling her tail around Gwyneth, holding the vixen before rolling to the side and curling around her. "You aren't." She mused lightly, resting her head on the vixens shoulder. So, her mate now? What did this mean? Should she tell the tribe? Yes. She needed them to know, and besides, they enjoyed Gwyneth's prescience. Turning to look at the vixen, her lips twitched.
"Now, you are the mate of an Elder, you have a responsibility."

Gwyn snuggled close to her new mate. "Responsibilities?" She blinked at Kit. "More than the ones I already have has a Scout?" She tried to think of some other things she might need to do. She knew the bases to each 'job' of the tribe, so Gwyn wasn't really worried.

Kithara looked at Gwyneth, nudging her softly. "Being healthy for one. As my mate, if an enemy tribe wanted to harm us they could go after my mate. Therefor, that means I also think Nitya should teach you how to defend yourself." She smirked softly, looking at Gwyneth, voice lowering slightly.
"Raising our kids."

Gwyn giggled. "Ok! That's easy enough!" She pictured herself fighting of some crazed foxes, her tail flicked as she giggled. Then she heard the 'K' word. "K-Kids? Now? What!?" Gwyn looked at Kit with wide eyes, she leaned in and said quietly. "Are you pregnant?"

Kithara blushed darkly, jerking away from Gwyneth and nearly colliding into a nearby rock, eyes wide and ears back. "N-No!" Where would she get that idea from? Kithara, pregnant? Never! Well, not never, but.....she....but... Oh what was this girl thinking? She frowned at the girl, flicking her tail before looking away.
"I mean in the future." She whispered, nearly not able to be heard.

Gwyn smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry. You just kinda caught me off guard with that." She nuzzled Kithara. Though Gwyn did want kits, but goodness! Not so soon! "Shall we head back to the tribe now? Or would you like to do something else?" Her tail wagged happily.

Kithara shrugged in response. What more could she do? She had made Gwyneth her mate, that was pretty much unexpected and had eaten away at her entire day. What else could she do? The feeling of being mated was amazing, and nothing else could top the feeling. Her tail flicked, nudging the vixen.
"No, I believe everything I wanted to do has been done, except," Kithara leaned closer to Gwyneth, kissing her and smiling at her, bumping foreheads.
"There, now we can go."

Gwyn almost melted from the kiss. She was so overly happy, she nuzzled Kit and stayed close to her. "It's funny~ I wanted to do that too~" She giggled a little more and gave Kithara a kiss of her own. "Ok, Now we can go." Gwyn almost pranced around Kithara, but she refrained her self and nuzzled against her mate.
