"Mm...." she comically glared over at him, "Well I am neither a Phim nor a perma so.....I guess that means I am s**t out of luck." She stuck out her tongue to the back of his head, "Mmmm...." Then she went back to looking at the water. "Mm..." That log was definitely moving toward them. "Marius.....I am pretty sure that it isn't a log....are you finished yet?" She looked over at him slightly panicked, though trying to hide it.

"well that means you just have to be really good at dodging or the one that isnt bitten. My mom is a normal and she drove off a crocodile from my dad" Marius pointed out. "Well then it probably isnt a log. Dont worry unless you are right on the rivers edge at this time of day its going to try and lure you into the water. However I am done" Marius stated uprooting the last herb that he needed. There done" he smiled and cast a glare out towards the "log" it wasnt mating season so there should be too big of a problem.

"Good..." She smiled in relief, then she looked out toward the water and gestured rudely to the 'log'. "Stupid piece of......" She rambled off some obscene comments on the crocs mother and mating. After that was done she turned to Marius and smiled, then trotted off on her merry way. "Right....so now that we have the herb...what are we going to do now?" She looked back at him, "Head to the tribe? I wouldn't mind meeting your family. Maybe I might even stick around....I mean...you are rather cute and all....It wouldn't be so horrible to see your face every morning."

Marius raised his eyebrow at the flow of colorful language and used a paw to cover his smile. Oh she was just like his aunt minus the bad luck. Since the crocodile was still in the water. "well I guess get a couple more like it to store encase of something else and head to the tribe..." Marius slightly trailed off. She what? Was she? Well he wasn't do terribly concerned after all she was not that bad looking herself. "well sure if you can stand my family" he shook his head with a chuckle.

"I am sure that I will be able to handle them just fine." Xylara smiled over at him, "If I could handle my own family, I can certainly handle yours." She chuckled good naturally, then continued to walk off. "So, your Elder....would he might if I stuck around for a little while...at least until I figure out if there's anything...here...." She gestured between them, "With us....I have a feeling that there might be something....but I would like to give it time....just in case I am wrong."

"haha thats true. Then again different families have different dynamics." He teased. Ah so he was right and she was doing what he thought. " Horus, no horus wont mind at all. He's kind of lax about that as long as you dont endanger any part of the tribe. however I dont think Anubis would let you. There definitely is something, but where it goes is the question. I think I would like that seeing if it could be something else." Marius stated.

She arched her eyebrow, "I have a feeling I am going to take an immediate dislike to him....I would simply say I would kick his a** until he allowed me to stay, but considering that he is a Tribal Guardian and far superior to me....I will refrain for the time being. But If he thinks that a little Tribal Guardian is going to scare me away. Ha." She laughed, then smiled at Marius, "I am not so easily scared off." She winked.
"You are a handsome fox Marius, and appear to be strong. A girl could do worse then choose you for their mate." Xylara smirked again, "And I don't intend to let any vixen near you until I can convince you to take me as a mate....even if that means beating every one that comes near you."

Marius kept a blank face but inwardly was frowning didn't she just say that she wanted to stay around until she knew something better. Did what he say convince her other wise. Well he supposed she was pretty and definitely had an attitude on her it would make life interesting he supposed and he had to admit a small part of him was looking forward to it. "oh you are, are you?" he teased laughing.
"Anubis wont mind as long as you dont try anything unless he is having a seth day. Oh well I should have probably mentioned that shouldnt I. We have three modeities and one most of the time is out to get us. He's apparently sending some sand storm in the future. Guess that makes a perfect time to get the relatives to like you ne?"

"What? every vixen has the right to pursue a male that she is interested in...And you interest me Marius.....very much...." she looked at him with an unreadable face, "Seth...and I am guessing that it is a bad thing when he has one of these days." Xylara nodded her head, "Well then I shall try not to do anything to piss him off...No guarantees though....Some on my mannerisms are....less accepted....I tend to have an opinion, and like to express it."
She followed him through the desert, "But I am looking forward to meeting your family." She smiled at him, "I hope that herb makes everything better."

It would take a while but he wasnt so worried about that. "Ah no its hard to figure out what seth is thinking about He's the modeity of chaos and the desert so" Marius shrugged. "and like I said before you'll fit right in we have two no three members that do exactly that" Marius pointed out. "ah well mom will be all shy and seemingly weak but, and dad will be probably nonchalant about the whole thing. Akori sees these weird dust particles so he'll probably talk about Narbles." It was then he looked down at the herb 'I hope so too, hang in there dad' he thought.

"well then....I foresee no problems with me staying for awhile then." Xylara smiled at him. She smiled and listened to him talk about his family. She could tell that he had great affection for them by the way he spoke. "You love your family very much don't you?" Xylara looked at him softly, "I am sure that your father is going to be fine....along with the rest of your tribe...We will make it there in time....and give the shaman's the herb so that everyone can be healed....You just have to have faith Marius." She leaned over, and for some reason she couldn't decipher, she nuzzled him against his neck.
"Don't worry Marius....everything is going to work out...I know it."

"If they were good parents and actually stayed by a fox and care for their well being. Its quite natural to love your family. I must admit I dont get along too well with my youngest sister and oldest brother so you probably wont ever met them. " Marius commented but smiled back. "yeah he probably will be I mean if a crocodile cant take him down then some little cold wont, but its still natural to worry I guess." he stated but he was very happy she was trying to cheer him up. "I guess off to towards the tribe then"

"That's fine with me...i have no brothers or sisters...or even parents anymore.....So i'm not used to being around a lot of people." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not very good in large crowds as a result so...." she shrugged. "Right the tribe." She nodded her head, and had to admit to herself, though she would never voice it out loud, that she was a little nervous about meeting his tribe. What if they didn't like her? Tried to convince him that she was a poor choice as a mate, not that he had agreed to accept her but she was hoping that he would eventually.

"well they shouldn't heard you too much, mostly because at the moment in time most of them aren't there. Persephone and Jaci went out to get water with Rynn I think. Dad is there, Horus should be there (not any more he's not) um and he sent everyone out to go do stuff. I believe. Mom might be there with Aunt Hollow though" he mumbled mostly to himself. "You know you dont have to worry if they dont like you, they will. Like I said everyone in the tribe is different. Bunch of misfits really but we are definitely there for each other.... most of the time."

"I have a feeling that I am going to like this Aunt that you keep talking about." She chuckled as she looked over at Marius. "I like misfits....they are my kind of people." Xylara winked at him, "So..." She smirked and continued to walk beside him. "How long until we reach the tribe?" She leaned over and nuzzled him, just because he was standing right there and she could. "I wouldn't mind eating some more food....and drinking some water. I'm not used to the desert life...it is something that I am going to have to adjust to."
