Still feeling shaken and not really wanting to move away from Natalia or Gabe, LW was curious as to what the others were heading into the fog for. Squinting towards them she noticed something...shiny? Glistening? What was that? Whatever it was, that seemed to be what the others were trying to get to. If she tried, that meant she had to let go of Natalia. Oh Jack!
With a heavy sigh, the she-wolf patted first the lemur's, then Gabe's head. "Lets give it a try...shall we?" That said, LW advanced towards the trees to attempt to climb them.
....Yeah no. She DID NOT LIKE THIS. Her hand reached for a branch just a little higher and it snapped. A squeak later, the she-wolf was down on the ground tail clutched in her hands again.

Unfortunately, it was not Israfel. In fact, it was something altogether un-Israfel like in nature - but just as she reached for it, she realized the tree was moving.
No, wait. The tree wasn't moving. The world was moving.
No, that wasn't it either..
A few seconds later, as she rubbed the injured tentacles that she had fallen on when she fell out of the tree in a faint, she grumbled and walked back out of the fog. I knew this was a bad idea..

"Seem's like you had no better luck?" She gestured to Riley as she stumbled out the fog, her own form still sitting dropped on the ground from where she fell. "You saw the light too?"

Groaning, Jericho laid on the ground for a few moments, staring up towards the shiny longingly, before gingerly sitting up and staring at the light through the fog. That was quite a fall he had taken, but it didn't feel like anything was broken. He wanted to scale the tree again, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to with that strange fog around. The dragon was still feeling a little sick right now from it.
"Riley?" he called, seeing a purple mass nearby. It also seemed like Sammy was here as well.

Sammy blinked turning to face a voice that was familiar, though not near as loud and deep as she last recalled it being in Christmas town. "Jericho?" her head cocked ever so slightly as she squinted at the edges of the fog making out the dragon as he walked closer. "So that's what you look like when you aren't carrying a mindflayer on your back and twice this size."

Barth's past experience with Breck's shed had been...informative, at least.
The shed didn't have a bathroom. That he had found, anyway.
His experience with the edge of the Forest had been cold. This time he was very bundled, and not planning on letting anyone relieve him of his coat. However, it was, in fact, one of his A-list napping locations. Maybe because it was close to the guy in charge of gardening equipment, but the ground here was especially loamy, and the eerie forest sounds especially calming.
The fog was new.
There were a few students falling out of trees, which was also new. He hoped there wasn't another game going on...no. Something else. He happened to be an exceptionally talented tree climber, albeit not a very fast one.

Tybalt spat the last leaf out of his mouth and began dusting himself off when the sound of a loud 'CRACK' caused him to look up. Apparently, Mei was doing quite well until the weight of her body proved to be too much for that small branch she was clinging to and resulted in her falling. That was going to hurt. Yep! Definitely.... Wait. Was she? HO s**t! SHE WAS!
Scrambling about and getting no where, the black dog 'caught' the broken doll, just as she was about to hit the ground. Unfortunately, knocking him to the ground as well. Yep... Definitely hurt...
"Does it count as 'catching' if I catch you with my back..?" He asked; his voice thick with a mixture of sarcasm and pain.

Looking up towards the undead girl, Jericho nodded slightly while rubbing his head some. He couldn't quite tell if it was because of the fog or if he had bumped it on the way down but it was aching at the moment.
"Yeah, that's me alright," he said, now recalling that Sammy hadn't really seen him in this form before now, "Haven't seen you since.. Christmastown. Good to see you're in one piece and not.. a pile of ash."

Barth began his climb. The fog seemed to get thicker as you went up. But he wasn't up far enough for that yet.
He was taking his time.
A stitch in time saves nine, or something.

Sammy could only shiver at the remark about being a pile of ash. "The last thing I remember was falling off Tahki's back, and burning. So much burning..." Her voice trailed off and she shivered again curling in close to hug herself while she has a brief flashback. "So how did you fare actually? I haven't really asked anyone what happened back then. Tahki turned out okay, but we both got hit and well; it wasn't pleasing at all."

Frowning as he heard the humming noise in the trees, Aksaja squinted into the fog, trying to see what was making it. Oh well that thing looked interesting enough. Frowning at the thick fog, the lightning dragon considered trying to fly up and grab it but... not with this visibility.
So he chose a tree close to the one with the pendant and started trying to climb it. Admittedly, he wasn't a very good climber, but he managed to get a good start.

Tybalts response could have not been better. It was HILARIOUS! and Astra could not help but cartwheel in the air as she almost laughed herself silly. Plus, it seemed the other student was laughing as well. She seemed really cool, but before she could find out anything about her she noted that other students had turned up, and it wasn't long before she herself could see something sparkling in the treetops.
But,t hat was all she could see, The fog was so bad, she wouldn't off been able to fly p and grab it even if she tried. Since she couldn't see, she didn't want to risk bumping into a tree or tearing her delicate wings. But it seemed others had thought of the idea of climbing up the trees to reach it. Many students were falling off, which was weird. She thought at least someone would of been able to climb up by now?
Well, perhaps that someone could be her? She ran towards one of the trees, finding one that seemed easy enough to climb, and began her slow ascent. Would she be able to climb it? she wasn't a expert on climbing, since most of the time she just flew...

He couldn't take it anymore. The pressure was just too unbearable, the dizziness making him sway unsteadily on the branch he was holding onto. Shifting, he pushed off of the branch, landing ungracefully on the ground below. Staggering a few steps, he stumbled from the forest, pushing sweat-dampened hair back away from his face. He was greeted by the all-too-welcoming sight of a familiar head of flaming red hair.
"LW," Ren croaked, dragging himself towards her and all but collapsing on the ground beside the werewolf. In the process, he nearly crushed the snake that was there - was that Gabrian.
"Oops, sorry," said Ren, not sounding sorry in the slightest as he tried to get his breathing back to control, pressing his face into the dew drop damp grass. "Didn't mean to try and squash ya there, snake boil."

There, he'd hit the fog. He took a deep breath...
And promptly fainted, hitting the ground with a very pathetic-sounding crunch.
Sloth demons, apparently, could not take their fog.
