Nanashi looked at his friend, "No you're not going to go home Jake. It's late, and your going to stay here." He knew that his friend was just afraid that Ash wasn't going to choose him and was trying to avoid that heartbreak. Nanashi didn't think he had anything to worry about though, he was sure that Ash was going to choose Jake.
"Jake take Tsuzuki's bed...and Ash you can choose to sleep next to whoever you want. Sorry that there isn't a third bed though. I've never had more then two foxes here before."

"It is not that that late..." He looked at his friend then looked outside where it was already sun set. "Well... it didn't so late on our way here..." He glanced away. "Besides its not like I cant fly in the dark or anything... I'll be fine." He shrugged. "What happens if your son decides to come see you and sees me in his bed? He won't have anywhere to sleep."

Ash eyed the boys quietly, tail flicking side to side. Her ears flipped back, looking up at Jake, then Nanashi. She didn't want to force Jake to stay, though it'd be a shame if he left. Then again, it wasn't her place to make him stay, so quietly she pawed at Nanashi.
"Don't force him." She whispered quietly, tail flipping under her.

"Mm.....Fine...." Nanashi sighed as he looked at his friend, "Your welcome to fly home if you like." He looked at Ash, wondering why she was letting him go so easily. But it wasn't his place to question her in front of Jake. "You are more then welcome to stay and rest. Tsuzuki hasn't been home for many months, I doubt he would come home tonight. But you can do as you please." His tail flicked behind him annoyed. God his friend was such a stubborn fool.

Well to be honest he really wanted to tell them that he didn't feel like stay around. Especially with them being so close together and being so friendly. He already knew who she was going to pick and frankly he didn't want to stand around and watch Nanashi be so flirty and lovey with her... and leaving would make a lot easier when he was shot down. If he stayed he was sure to make and a** of himself.
"What? I can't leave if I want?" His tail flicked in annoyance. "I heard the tone in your voice. You got something to say to my face then say it." He growled. "Its none of your business what I want to do and frankly I see no reason in staying."

Her eyes widened, ears flying back in shock. W-What? Ash moved backwards, head lowering. "J-Jake?" She asked softly, nails digging into the ground. "I..I think... Nanashi I think we really shouldn't force Jake to do something he doesn't want to." She looked up at him, then at Jake.
Ah, the two fighting wasn't to fun. She moved to the cave entrance, tail flicking. "I can go, if you like?"

"I never said you couldn't leave Jake. If you really want to leave I wouldn't try to stop you, I was just saying that there was plenty of room." Nanashi looked at him baffled. Why was he so angry all of the sudden? He didn't understand it. And now he was upsetting Ash, and Nanashi would not put up with that.
Looking at Ash, he wrapped a paw around her trying to soothe her. "I don't want you to go Ash." He smiled at her softly, "This is isn't your fault alright." He nuzzled her face, "Why don't you go lay down huh?" He smiled, squeezing her softly before he pulled away and walked over to Jake. "Listen if you want to leave and go sulk that's fine with me, but when you start upsetting Ash then it's not okay. So take your attitude and get the hell out of my den." He growled quietly to Jake so Ash wouldn't overhear. She was upset enough that he didn't want to add to the problem.

Nodding, just a little, Ash padded off into the back of the cave, curling into a tight ball. At the yelling she barely heard she twitched her tail gently, sighing softly into her paws once she had them under her chin. She really.... wasn't sure what to do with herself right now.
So, she waited patiently for Nanashi, gently, worriedly humming to herself.

Nanashi argued softly with Jake for several minutes before the other male took off into the air. Sighing heavily, he turned and walked back into the cave and smiled at Ash. "I am terribly sorry about that Ash....Jake is...well....I don't know what was wrong with him. I think he just got uncomfortable." He shrugged, "But I hope you will still stay the night. I would be very worried about you flying alone this tie of night."

Once Nanashi padded back to join her, her tail wagged. A soft smile touched her mouth, though became a grimace when he mentioned Jake being uncomfortable, ears flicking against her skull.
"Was it something I said?" She whispered gently, lowering her muzzle on to her paws with a heavy sigh. Her eyes flicked upwards to look at the entrance, shaking her head. "He is flying at this time, isn't it not safe for him as well?"

Nanashi frowned as he looked at her, "No...it wasn't anything you said." He nuzzled the back of her neck as he laid down next to her. "Jake is just...he's...complicate." He chuckled, "But his cave isn't that far away...and he flies at night all the time. I'm not worried about him."
"The damn fool is too stubborn to let anything happen to him." Nanashi smiled at her. "So I don't want you worrying over it, alright?"

Watching the man, a soft smile touched her lips, sighing gently. "Alright." His nuzzle made her blush, tail flipping to cover her blush. Patting the spot beside her, she looked up at Nanashi, her muzzle still hidden due to her tail.
"Lie down beside me?" She mewed quietly, nervously. Her ears flipped back gently, red eyes looking to the side. "I'm glad... you stayed.."

Nanashi chuckled as she tried to cover her blush with her tail. God she was the most adorable creature in the world, and how he adored her. Smiling, he curled up beside Ash, and nuzzled her neck softly. "Of course I stayed....I love being around you Ash....you make me....happy."
He blushed. Nanashi actually blushed.

Blushing even more, the vixen flipped one ear when he nuzzled her neck, looking at him briefly before nervously looking away when he spoke, her tail twitching.
"Eh?" She turned to look at his paws, to nervous to meet his eyes. "Really?" Another twitch of her tail. "Do....I?" Oh, was she looking to much into it? P-Perhaps. "I enjoy spending time with you, t-too."

Nanashi smiled at her, "Yes Ash....You make me very happy." He licked her cheek softly as he nuzzled her neck. "Ash...you have to know...that I...Mm....have feelings for you." Nanashi blushed as he licked his lips. "I was too nervous to tell you with Jake here but....I've...fallen for you...hard."
The phim watched her, trying to gauge her reaction to his declaration.
