Solaris---Tolin

"Solaris! Could you please take some people back to the hospital? We have a few injured." He called over to the Espeon who had since given Frost a bit of space.
"Who?" Solaris peered above the crowd, scanning the field. Tolin pointed out the Mismagius (who hadn't asked for help, but seemed rather distressed regardless) and Smeargle.
Solaris quickly reappeared beside the Smeargle and then quickly disappeared along with him, only to reappear alone by Ketsueki.
He looked at her, wincing as he noticed the wounds covering her face. "I'm going to take you both to the Hospital." With Nikolas's no doubt immediate assent to the teleport, he would place them both in the hospital and then quickly return to see if anyone else needed a trip. His tail twitched nervously, hoping that none of his guild had been lost; there were a few corpses, but the recognizable ones were from the guild of the Morning Star. Hopefully it would be something Frost could accept.

Tolin, meanwhile, had slid away from the attention of others. He had his silent concerns for Frost and others, including the injured Pichu.
But that could wait. Now was the best time. Now would have the most effect.
"This is why I need your help." He spoke to the Suicune, having kept track of her throughout the entire battle to gauge her feelings. His words were near-silent and escaped his throat as nothing more than a whisper that was lost to anyone but the two.
"He was mortal. That was nothing but the power of this pendant." He held the pendant up. Although he could only feel the power trying to enter his body, the Suicune should be able to understand it's true nature. As a legend herself, she would be able to feel the power that had been infused into the necklace.
"The Elite are going to be much stronger than that. We brought three of the guilds together and almost all of us were injured. A few of us died. There are fourteen more pendants before we're done. The next time, they might not be insane. They might not even be alone. The guilds aren't enough; we need the power of legendary pokemon. Please, help me stop this. Help me save this world."
And then he knelt. One knee to the ground with his sharp scythe planted to the ground and his other arm held against his knee, as if here were a knight.
After all, he was speaking to someone much stronger than he was.
Someone he needed. The Suicune had easily doubled their fighting strength. Not only had she, in a single attack, done as much as the rest of their small army, she had also torn away the pendant and ended the fight much sooner. If anyone else had tried that, they would have died. She had single-handedly cut down the injuries significantly.

**********

Although there's still a post round to happen (getting people out of ye forest) I thought I'd post the rewards now! They'll be handed out once you return to the guild, but I know how much you people love your rewards~ Especially since the chapter is effectively over. So here's what everyone gets!

Rewards!
5000 PD
3 Mission Points
A Flying Type egg or Stage 1 Flying-type recruit. With the disbanding of the Pidgeot's "clan" as it were, plenty of young pokemon now need a home. Many of these eyes have turned towards the Guild. Maybe one wishes to join your team?
A Tailwind or Air Slash TM.

Rev

"You'll need more than just the power of a legendary to stop them."
Not far from Tolin and the Suicune, Rev was etching something into one of the trees.
It looked like a tally mark.
"Even with Suicune's help, we lost too many today. This has happened before, at the hands of another legendary, Heatran."
He turned his head to look at Tolin.
"You've worked yourself quite hard as of yet, he who I assume is known as Tolin. I wont let you die before we have lunch together."
The Zangoose then looked over at Suicune and bowed his head in respect.
He wasn't much of a kneel-er.

Frost & Kenna & Maisha & Kaiyou

+ Guild of Morning Star Members

The Arcanine swayed dizzily, shifting to further support himself with what little strength his legs had. His shoulder hurt like hell, but he flat out refused to allow himself to lie down. His guild needed him, and he didn't want to let them down.
"Anyone injured, head back with the Guild of the Sun... Their hospital is better equipped... to deal with injuries..." He told some of his guild members, as they stood closer to him. A few of them nodded, diving back through the crowd to fetch their teammates.
At Sonata's words, he swung his head dizzily, frowning slightly as he listened. "...I can rest... once we're home. For now, I have to stay on my feet." His voice was quiet, weary.
His eyes were dark with a mixture of grief and pain, but he couldn't help but feel relieved, that it was all over. They'd be home again soon.
Kenna trotted up to Frost and Sonata, her ears flat against her head.
"We lost a member in the fight. Three others, aside from yourself, are injured; they've be transported to the Guild of the Sun, to be treated for their injuries. Nik's gone with them." She reported formally, her voice sharp and disapproving at Sonata's closeness with the Arcanine, though she said nothing about it.
Frost flattened his ears, uncertain as to why she was acting so strangely. "Thank you... Kenna. We'll head back, soon...."
The Ninetails turned and left, Frost still swaying awkwardly on his paws next to Sonata.
"...Sonata..." He murmured quietly to the Absol. "...Just... thank you...."

A flash of pale blue appeared near Raven's head, and a translucent-looking Gastly bumped gently into the back of his skull.
"You. We're leaving." She informed him bluntly, not bothering to listen to him or any of the Pokemon around her.
She just wanted to sleep; she'd had enough for one day.
A hand reached up, grabbing the Gastly in his hand. Though his fingers merely slipped through her, the effect was the same.
The startled Ghost turned to face Kaiyou, meeting the disapproving glare of the Water-type. "We leave as a group, and not until everyone is in safe hands, and well-accounted for. That's the way teams work, Maisha." He growled, narrowing his eyes.
The Gastly didn't respond, looking away as the Marshtomp spoke.
Kai turned to Raven, looking less angry, and more worried. "I caught sight of Suki.... is she?" His voice was thick with a mixture of grief and guilt. He should have been there to help her...

User Image~Sonata

Sonata could feel the hatred in Kenna's eyes directed towards her as the fiery fox approached their guildmaster, unable to retain herself from letting out a smirk at this fact. She didn't have anything against the Ninetales really other than some friendly competition; but when moments like these arose the chuckle at her expense is so worth it. This victorious moment only getting better as she was thanked for her efforts by Frost.
'You've done all you can here."
Sonata spoke as the battlefield slowly began to clear, all injuries having at least someone attending to them by this point.
"Maybe we should even stop by the hospital ourselves just to play it safe."
She spoke as a collective but it was obvious she was not the one possibly in need of medical care, and it wasn't like she was about to leave him alone or anything in this condition.

User Image ~Raven

Raven glared at the ball of ghoulishness near him as she spoke, not liking the vibe he was getting from the ghost at all. Kai thankfully rejoined the group in that moment and straightened things up before directing his words to the Lucario.
"I-...Uhm... She was just taken back to the team; things aren't looking well..."
He spoke somberly of his fallen teammate not getting into any more detail on the topic.

Frost & Maisha & Kaiyou

+ Guild of Morning Star Members

Frost nodded slowly, trying to remain upright as he did so. Everything was swaying weirdly, and it was making him feel a little bit queasy.
As Sonata's soft voice echoed again in his ears, he sighed silently. "I... think that might be... a good idea..." He admitted, grimacing as he attempted to put a little weight on his wounded leg.
Pain spiked sharply through his shoulder, and the Arcanine gasped, quickly gritting his teeth. He would probably be doing a lot of sitting down and lazing about for a while. Walking was not on his to-do list.
Luckily, it didn't really have to be, since he and Sonata would probably be able to hitch a ride with any stragglers Teleporting back to the Guild of the Sun.

Kaiyou looked away, nodding silently. There wasn't really words, to reassure his teammate, to reassure himself. It was just... a strange, sickening situation.
It seemed to take forever, to return the guild, even if, in truth, it wasn't a terribly long trip. Maisha disappeared before he and Raven, presumably due to a mixture of impatience and irritation. It had been a long time since she'd been a part of a family. She'd forgotten what it was like to care about someone, what it was like to worry over someone who was injured. Kai knew he should be more patient with her, but... it just didn't feel right, to be understanding with someone who could toss aside a teammate so easily.
It was Kaiyou who grabbed the rewards for their team, in the place of Ketsueki, who would normally have done so herself. She was the team's deputy. Their second-in-command. He didn't know where things stood, now, but he knew without a doubt that she would not lead as she had before. The thought was not pleasant.

Suicune

Suicune eyed the pendant cautiously. Such power in the wrong hands would surely prove devastating. The carnage today struck a cord.

"Is there no other way? Is there no chance to convince these Elites to help us? Surely if they understand the the nature of the situation..." She sighed and shook her head. "I will do what I can, but please, promise me that we will avoid bloodshed where we can. It's too sad."

Her eyes were drawn to her right paw, covered in the drying and dried blood of the Pidgeot. It acted as a glue, holding downy pieces of feathers to her fur. She glanced aside to see the Zangoose talk, feeling herself reflexively shirking backwards in an effort to hide herself from sight. She looked back to the Scyther, motioning for him to get up.

"If it is aid you seek, power by your side to combat this Destruction, I know of one who may help. The Rainbow Bird created the original Suicune, possibly created me. I have met it once, at the Tower of Ashes. It holds great power, and it is said to have the ability to raise those who have gone Beyond." Ho-oh was to Suicune what Arceus was to most other Pokemon. Ho-oh was her creator, her god, some powerful, omnipotent force that had the ability to change everything. She firmly believed that whatever was going on, the Rainbow Bird can fix it.

Solaris---Tolin

Solaris proceeded to teleport around the field smacking people in the forehead with his paw in order to get them back to the guild. Asking people got boring when everyone was injured!
BOP BOP BOP BOP BOP
Only the injured ones, though. If they weren't bleeding and they could still walk, then tough!

He stood and nodded. "If there had been another option, today would have been different. It will be bloody no matter what we do, but I shall try." It's true that the Pidgeot would have died on his own eventually, likely before doing anything, but the result would have been an all-out war within the clan. The group would have either slaughtered each other and simply birthed the threat anew or a clear victor would come out and their position would have been many times worse. And the deaths would have skyrocketed accordingly.
Tolin turned sharply at the Zangoose's words, then immediately relaxed his posture.
"Hah, more than a legendary? What could stop a legendary? We've got a Suicune on our side, we'll be fine."
His tone was dripping with a mix of sarcasm and obvious falsities, and although he looked relaxed his mind was focused on the Zangoose's stance. They had nice, wide necks... it could be over in a few seconds if he was fast enough. Just dart forward and one... quick swing. Wouldn't be hard at all. Tired as he was, things seems a bit... easier, now.
Even the seemingly reclusive Suicune would be able to pick up on the tone, but any "normal" pokemon would simply regard him as strange unless they knew forbidden knowledge.
If the Zangoose knew of the Elite, he would likely place himself as friend or foe immediately. If neither... restrain, rather than kill. Probably.

Era & Ethfael & Sereni

Era noticed Solaris teleporting about, and stood on all fours, keeping the weight off of her sprained paw. She was determined to get through this without having to be given special treatment. It was possible to walk with a sprain, albeit rather painful if you misstepped, but possible. "Come on," she said to her teammates with an attempt at a smile through her pain, "We should get back."

Ethfael looked at her, frowning. "You're not seriously considering walking back, are you?" he asked her. Anyone who looked at the Pichu could tell that she was in not state to do such a thing. She was covered in cuts and bruises, and she could scarcely stand on three legs, let alone walk the hour or so back to the Guild. "Since it's the one time that I can stop you from doing something harmful to your health, I'm not going to let you." This same thing happened constantly, and Era was always the one to take the brunt of the pain for some reason that he couldn't decipher.

"Don't be silly Ethfael," Era said, trying to sound better than she looked and felt, "I can make it, no problem." She began to hobble forward, away towards the hole in the trees only to be stopped in her tracks by Sereni.

"Ethfael's right I'm afraid," she said gently, "It's best if you get some help getting back."

Era sighed indignantly, feeling rather guilty. "But can't you see? I'm-" The Pichu's protests were suddenly cut short as Solaris appeared with a crack in front of her and pawed her on the forehead. In an instant and another crack, she was gone, whether she liked it or not.

Ethfael sighed, closing his eyes and breathing a sigh of slight relief. "Why will she never accept help when she needs it?" he asked in exasperation.

"She has some pride, believe it or not," was Sereni's reply. "You'd do the same thing in her situation."

"Maybe so," he said, "But that's the problem, it's never me; it's always her." He sighed, defeated, "I just worry, that's all."

Sereni smiled knowingly but didn't reply. Instead she turned back towards the hole in the trees and the journey home. "Come on," she said, "Solaris was teleporting them to the hospital, so we can visit her once we get back." She led the way and Ethfael followed, as they returned to the Guild.

Rev

Rev idly twisted his torso, cracking his spine a bit.
"No need to get at all snippy, Master Tolin," He said with a flick of his claw to get the wood from the tree he had been carving out.
"I am here for your aid and convenience. My name is Rev, I believe I asked your acquaintance Puer to speak of me. We were to have lunch Christmas day, but things came up. Speaking of which, I'm still to give Pluto his gift..." He began to trail off.
The Zangoose looked off into the distance for a moment before shaking his head.
"I am aware that you are the basic ring-leader for the fight against the Elites."
He took a few steps forward, speaking now in a low whisper.
"I've seen what they're capable of. I hope you are prepared for the worst, or soon will be..."

Reaver regained consciousness shortly after the battle was done. He

shook his large head, trying to clear the cloudy thoughts but almost

succeeded in falling over due to the fact his body was still slightly asleep.

His inner core ached and he could feel that he was damaged on the right

shoulder. Looking back, he could see pieces of wooden debris sticking out

from his back pores. He shrugged and decided to remove it later, scanning

the grounds for the living among the guilds. He began to walk to the group,

trying to avoid seeing the bodies. If he didn't find Quazi with the group,

he'd have to find his Captain among the casualties and that didn't sit well

with him at all.

Quazi blinked at the words of gratitude from the Pichu. He turned his head

away, hiding the blush from his face. He'd never been thanked by a female

before, and even though it was just a pichu, it still felt unnatural and

strange to him. Quazi grunted a quiet "yer welcome"

and turned to the Marshtop. "Thank ye for th' save

mate. 'Ye have yerself a hand when ye need one. I be in yer debt."

Quazi nodded his head a bit before running off to find Reaver, his face

growing a strange tinge from both embarrassment and mild frustration,

despite the fact he was truly grateful to the Marshtop. "If

th' lubber were gonna save th' lass regardless, he should've been done wit'

it afore I lost th' treasure! I Missed out on precious booty... Blasted Reaver

better 'ave collected from th' dead lot on th' ground..."
A thought

struck him. Reaver saved his life by knocking himself out of the fight. Quazi

ran panicked across the battle field, leaping over bodies, his eyes wildly

looking for the aron.

"Just like th' Cap'n, th' damn fool woulda been killed 'cause o' me-"

With a clang, Quazi ran head first into Reaver, coming to a painful hault.

"OWWWW!! WHAT IN TH' HELL YE FOOL?!"

Quazi shouted, his eyes tearing with a mix of both relief and pain.

"Quazi! Aren't I glad to see you're oka-"

"Belay that, fool! Ye snag any booty? Let's pick these

blokes clean o' their pendants an' be off if ye didn't."
Reaver looked

to the side before shaking his head. "Better not, Quazi.

We need to get back to the guild and get checked out."
Quazi

growled,"But we went an' won! Th' spoils be ours to pick!"

Reaver began to push Quazi with his head, over powering the

weakened mudkip. "Now, we'll be rewarded at the guild.

And besides, we didn't win the battle. We survived it. The fact that some of

our allies lost their lives is proof we lost more than we won."

"Speak for yerself! No mates o' mine be dead on this

ground. But.. guess yer right. We survived an' that alone.. Least I snagged

one o' them."
Quazi began to walk willingly, Reaver walking by his

side. They both made their way out from the circle of gigantic trees and

went on the path back to the guild, the adrenaline in their

system keeping them from feeling the real impact of the battle on their

bodies.

By the time Elly was able to move again, the battle was over. Bel looked around, a mixture of happiness at victory, sadness at death, and anger at not being able to fight more! Seriously, he felt a bit cheated, as he later expressed to Fon whilst carrying Elly home. "It's messed up! I mean, we were fighting BIRDS! This was my chance to shine, and I only managed to take out ONE. Next time, I'm going alone!" He ranted. Fon, meanwhile, tuned him out as he himself contemplated today's events.

Zaru

Okay, now he probably just had to wait until he could be certain Solaris wouldn't come popping up out of nowhere, and until Tolin finished chatting with some Zangoose he didn't recognize... Why did he have to be getting help from the apparently busiest person in the whole stupid Guild?! Well, he had to admit he couldn't think of very many other pokemon who he'd be comfortable approaching about this problem, so he might as well just settle down and wait his turn with the Scyther.

Tolin

"Pardon me, I was trying to figure out whether or not I was going to have to kill you." Only someone with knowledge would be able to respond. "I'm still not sure."
When someone just showed up and proclaimed that they knew what Tolin was doing and they knew of the Elite, their supposed "allegiance" was of little matter. He was far more likely to be someone sent by the Elite themselves. If the Elite knew that he was gathering the pendants then it was likely either an attempt to monitor or trap him.
Either way, his blade was at the ready.
"You'll have to forgive my mistrust, but normal people don't know. And there's no way you should know what I'm trying to do, either." Tolin had been incredibly secretive. A few people knew he was screwing in matters beyond his control, but only four people knew what he was actually doing. Two of them were good friends and the third would die again before he let anything go.
"Meet me at my team room when you get back. I'll hear you out there. Then you can tell me what you know and how. This isn't the ideal place to discuss things."
Especially not with the Infernape staring right at them. Tolin disappeared with a harsh crack and reappeared in front of him.
"What's the matter, Zaru?"
Of course he knew his name. He knew everyone's names. He made it a priority to know who might knock on his door, since it happened fairly often.

Despite hanging around Jonah and Flash as much as he did, Zaru still flinched when Tolin suddenly appeared in front of him, not even aware that the Scyther had noticed his presence before now.
"Ah, well, it's sort of something Solaris can't know about just yet. Jonah, Flash and I found... well, you may need to just see for yourself." he explained, or at least tried to explain, still nervous about Solaris showing up again. The last thing he needed was to have to deal with the Espeon sticking his nose in where it didn't belong.

Tolin

"Flash?" He was surprised. This was good though.
"Let's go then. I'm teleporting us to the city, just tell me where to go from there."
Tolin slowly shifted his scythe up to tap Zaru on the shoulder. He made the motion carefully and obviously in order to prevent the Infernape from thinking it was some sort of attack, just in case.
Provided the Infernape didn't decline the teleport (in which case he would not raise his scythe at all) the pair would disappear with a loud crack, almost as if an explosion had been set off.
He wasn't sure just how well he could teleport two people without Orion's Gem, but given that he could feel the power of the amulet leaking into him against his will he could probably handle it.
Even on the off chance Blade wasn't in the city, Tolin needed to deposit the amulet before it started taking control of his mind.

And he was right, although the distance made it somewhat... eventful. It involved a roof and a few feet of air.
