"mmm well" Aisling took a deep breath. She could do this. She could calmly tell him what was going on and he would either think she was utterly stupid or maybe... no she would sort this out with out breaking either of their hearts. Oh she should have waited till later but she was blushing and he was asking and it was polite to answer back right? "well when you're really nice and heroic and stuff I get all these sorts of butterflies and..." she hissed a bit at the leaf touching her injured leg. Seriously it wasnt that bad... she had definitely had worse. Oh yes she had to stay on topic. "and I blush alot when you touch me because" and here she made the mistake of looking him i the eye. With an eep she went back to hiding again.

"Well....that does kinda sound like a crush...." He looked at her, then blinked when she quickly averted her eyes and hid. "Why do you do that....It's not like I'm going to hurt you." He nudged her paw away and licked her cheek. "If it helps Aisling....I.....I've started to like you....even if you do confuse the hell out of me sometimes...."

"I dont mean to confuse you. If it helps I confuse myself. There is just this whole bunch of idea's on what to say in my head and alll this stuff just rushes out and gets shoved together because when I get nervous I tend to speed up in my talking." Aisling pointed out finally looking up. "and I do that because its a girl thing to hide their face when they become too red I guess or maybe its just me. Its not because I think you'll hurt me no. Its just an engraved habit or something"

"well you don't have to hide from me..." He nuzzled her cheek. "I don't mind that you blush....in fact....i think it's kinda cute...." he smiled at her, "I even like your nervous talk....even though half of it I don't understand..." He smiled and licked her cheek.

Aisling took a deep breath and tried not to let the blush over whelm her again. Oh at this rate Airashi was going to kill her before the trip was over. Ah the trip would eventually end right. Maybe they would both know more about their feelings at the end of it. "alright I'll try. No guarantees though." she stated raising her head even higher. "I'll even try to be less confusing... maybe" oh she would probably fail in that regard.

"Can you walk? Or do i need to carry you on my back?" He smiled at her. "You didn't forget about the journey did you? The sun is up....and it's not too hot...it's the perfect time to cover some ground before the sun sets again...." He looked at the entrance to the cave, "Just point me in the right direction and I can carry you at least half the way."

"No... no I can walk. I would probably strain something since I'm heavy" Aisling stated rising to her feet. her knee buckled a bit and she glared down at it. It would work it would not let her fall face first into the ground. For once everything would start working out. "No I didnt forget about the journey. I was just thinking about it in fact" she stated trying out a few steps. "I think I'll be okay. we'll have to go down the coast for a while and we can rest when we get to the area's thick in fog" she commented on.

"Mm!" he looked t her worriedly, "are you sure about this?" She was less then steady on her feet, "Come here...." He walked over and helped support her. it would slow them down, but he didn't want her to take the chance that she would reopen her room. "Fog huh?" He looked at her, "Alright..." he steered them toward the coastline.

"Yeah I'm sure. I always have bad luck so things jump out and attack me. I just need to get used to walking for a little bit and then I'll be racing you" Aisling stated nodding. "Besides it just wouldn't do for me to be a bother.. and even if you say I wouldn't be I would still feel that way. Its only fair I carry my own weight." none the less until the wound got a bit number and she got used to it she would lean against him for support.

"Yeah that doesn't really make sense to me...but...." He shrugged and continued to support her. It was the least he could do after all. He walked along the beach, making sure to go at a steady pace that would not harm her. He didn't want to strain the wound and have it reopen.
"SO.....how long does it normally take to reach your home?" He looked over at her and smiled. He was trying to distract her from the pain.

Aisling laughed a bit wondering if she would ever stop being confusing ah well she guessed it was just a different gender thing or just a case of being two individuals."um quite a while. I've been away for so long I dont remember exactly how long it takes. I just know its a pretty far distance." Aisling pointed out trying to remember vaguely how she had left. she remembered walking on ice for a long time but... mmm they would find a way. She was certain of that. her knee still stung a bit but that was natural.

"Alright....well it takes as long as it takes i suppose..." He shrugged his opposite shoulder. "I don't mind...It's not like I have anywhere to be...." he continued walking, wondering about his family back in Caledonia. He wanted to know how his mom was, and Grandma Kina...was she mated to Freyr yet? He sighed. Maybe he shouldn't have left like he did. It hadn't been very nice, and he was positive that his mom was worried about him.

Aisling of course felt guilty. It would be really hard to get back to her home and what if he was just saying he had no where to be nice...."but since you'll be gone so long and we need winter I think. we could stop by your family and tell them you'll be gone and stuff." Aisling stated... oh he had a family right. She could have sworn he had mentioned something about a brother. She took a deep breath to calm herself down. Well if he didn't have one she would fix her blunder some how.

He looked over at her surprised, "You think that we should stop by Caledonia to see my family?" he blinked, "Um...sure....I suppose we could do that...I mean....Winter you say....I guess that would take up enough time but.....Why my family...?" He blushed slightly, "It's not like I miss them or anything...." he looked away.

"well I think my parents are dead and before I was forced to move away from them I never really talked to them saying what I had planned or what I was going to do. I figure I should bring it up with other people so they take advantage of the things they have" Aisling nodded."but enough about me, we can just think of it as a way to pass the time until winter gets here and that way if your family does try to look for you they wouldnt get worried when they cant find you" she stated.
