So, uh. I went back to Minecraft for a bit. And I have a penchant for bases in the sky. But I felt it was time for something a little more impressive.  Meet my Hovering Inverted Obsidian Pyramid Base, or The Silent Construct. What? Don't look at me like that, I smashed a champagne bottle on it and everything. Waste of perfectly good alcohol, really.  It has a tendency to loom as you get closer. Case in point, when you're right under it:  Oh, that water? It's the only entrance. Brings you straight to the top.   It's a long way up. I could make a way to get up that with a boat, but I am lazy. Instead, you get to swim up that and hope you don't suffocate.  When you do get up there, it's pretty barren. There's a way to get inside from the top, though. Speaking of the inside, it's actually rather quaint.   See that doorway? It's really just a long and winding corridor that ends in a hallway of [nearly] solid Nether-Portal. The whole hallways is cut from obsidian, and all of it is the perfect shape for a portal. Oh, and you can get to the room where I actually store stuff and use as a homebase.    If there's one thing I like about living in a giant inverted pyramid, it's that the place is large enough to accommodate pretty much whatever you feel like. Oh, and the odd discoloration in the last few photos? That's a cloud.

Got the attention of my first two slimfast men at the same time, and beat them off with a wooden sword. ******** yeaaaah.
But how the hell am I supposed to feed myself if I'm on a deserted island and wheat takes a year to grow? I am hunting spiders for a fishing pole, but so far I only have one line of silly string. :C
I kind of want to have everybody try playing a new world with that seed up there and then share world files once we have something to show.
I am fairly certain my world used Lagfest404. You should spawn in an archipelago.
Edit: If the above seed isn't an archipelago, try:
1173608486
I used an extractor to double-check, but it only pulls out the numeric value of the seed or something. :I

So, started a new world for 1.8. Ended up here.  Too many pines for my taste. But you know what's great about 1.8?    Mushrooms. heart    I love having an organic and self-growing skybase. emotion_awesome Brown ones create platforms, and red ones create rooms.   Put down a block of dirt, place mushroom of choice, add bonemeal, and bam, instant living space. EDIT: MELONS HOLY s**t I FOUND MELON SEEDS IN AN ABANDONED MINESHAFT I DID NOT EVEN KNOW EITHER OF THOSE WERE THINGS THAT EXISTED I WILL NOW BUILD A SUMMER HOME OUT OF MELONS

I knew I was gonna like the Adventure Update, but I didn't expect this. So I'm walkin' around, fillin' in a map, right? Center's on my mushroom base.  And I come upon this.  No, I didn't build this. It just kinda happened to be here. I found an abandoned village.   It's crazy how detailed this is. o_O

bleu_flame We should all play on a server. O: If memory serves, though, none of us really have the capabilities to host a server. Med and I invaded one for a time, but I haven't bothered going back there since we carved a path through the Nether a couple months ago. In other news, I found an Ocean Biome. I'm used to seeing about the same size for most biomes. I, uh, I wasn't expecting this.

I might want to run it on my second computer or my dad's computer so I can possibly host more people or run it smoother.
