Unable to have got another attack in after the first, Mei tried for a third time, but instead missed entirely. How the hell could she miss that damn robot?! Scolding herself, she stepped back and prepared her next attack.

Johan lay huddled on the floor, stunned and battered by the waves of JOY and beams of LOVE the metal monstrosity was tossing at them. This was disgusting! He clamped his hands over his ears at the latest attack, and ended up tumbling end over end into the wall of the workshop. With his heels swaying above his head, an angry flush of color came to the Sorcerer's cheeks, and he finally pulled himself to his feet. The indignity!

Giving his group a quick scan, he saw that a number of them were hurting from the robot's attacks. Considering he rarely did well with physical attacks, Johan decided that at the moment he'd be of more use using his bell.

Seeing that there was another student, a demon, using his own bell on a ghoul who'd recently tried to fire a bazooka, Johan ran over to give her a little extra assistance.

"It's nothing," Barth said to Hedera valiantly. ...But it really was nothing. He just had to shake a bell. It took very nearly no effort.

Barth noticed the other student on bell duty giving Hedera an extra boost. He thought they made a pretty good medical team. He might consider going into medicinal something-or-nother if there was a similar bell-oriented system in Halloween.

"Nice ring you've got there," he said, "good err, tone. Very important job, healing instead of trying to punch giant metal constructs. ...I'm Bartholmew Mudd. Barth, if you don't like managing all four syllables."

If only she had her camera, she certainly would have been able to attack that thing. Unfortunately, she didn't.

It didn't help that she got smacked with a beam of hearts either. Alwine was sent tumbling ungracefully back to the groud, where she lay contemplating about why it was so hard to hit the blasted thing.

Christof tumbled as the shrapnel hit him, dangerously severing the bandage on his leg, but still the limb just barely held on. He could feel it getting rickety. Better work fast- he swallowed, glancing around once more for anything to attack the giant metal creature- it had called THEM villains?? They were just walking through and all of their Christmas Citizens had attacked, nearly..... had their way with.... or even tried to HUG him and his fellow students! How in the heck did that make THEM the creatures of horror?

Alright, so maybe the heart-broken Elf had a point, but as far as Christof and his aching, stubborn wounded limbs felt, the Christmas Town people DESERVED what was coming to them!

He limped quickly back to the nearby abandoned workbench, this time finding a tiny circular-saw. With a muffled howl in the back of his throat, he ran towards the robot, managing a good sparking slice up one of it's legs before the power cord reached it's end and popped free and the tool's whurr went silent. For good measure, he chucked the now useless tool at the scratched and cracked window where he could see the horrible little red-clad elf still gibbering away.

Tybalt shook his head violently. Having been hit by one of the bits of metal, directly in the face, was making his head spin. It wasn't serious damage, but it still stung!

Steadying himself, he gave one more shake of his head before he noted that his wreath was still placed atop the machines and unfortunately, not budging. Which meant that he was going to have to go and retrieve it himself. Damn... If fighting wasn't going to drain his energy, running after this freakin' wreath was!

With a exasperated sigh, the black dog lept into a run and darted towards the enemy machine; weaving in between debris and students before he came close enough to the enemy so that it was possible to ram the machine. Which he did. As soon as he was close enough, he lunged forward and slammed his entire body into the robot. Which successfully knocked the wreath loose and left a nice dent in the shiny red metal as well.

Mandy had just been struggling up, ready to attack again, when the shrapnel from the box hit her. Thrown to the ground again she gave a groan, ok maybe another round of wait-till-the-room-stops-spinning.
