Raziel had gotten hit pretty bad, and the only way to stay alive at this point was to take one of the dreaded pumpkin pills and sit this go out. Upon swallowing the pill, he could feel his body slowly returning to full health

Basil was knocked back and hurt badly. "oww- ugh!" she had better not talk, she was hurting so badly.
She picked up another snow ball, and threw it as best as she could toward the ninja, she was much better at ranged attacks it seems.

Barth felt that one. He was beginning to regret his choice in nice, straight paths. But he still wasn't going to climb those stupid mountains.
He looked at Colette, and everyone else that was going to die. Everyone from the car that had followed him in here. They'd said it, hadn't they? They were worried he would die. They weren't here to prevent it, they came so he wouldn't die alone.
He straightened from his slouching position, and gave his claws a good shake. He was tired, but there would be plenty of time to rest when he was dead.
His hand had four fingers, and each of them were going to be doing some damage.

Where had the witch conceived such a poorly thought out plan to come on the one trail she was instructed NOT to go on?! Oh yeah, friendship.
So with another yell, the witch advanced toward the ninja with the intent to attack. But then he pulled out his freakishly damaging sword and she was knocked back into the snow with a shriek. OW!! That REALLY HURT CHARLIE!!!! That wasn't the ninja's name, but that's what Belladonna was calling him now.
"Good Hecate Charlie, that was MEAN. We just wanted to be your friend!" She mumbled, trying to sitting up and clutching her head. Braum was going to be so mad at her when he found out she had gotten sliced and diced up by a jacking JOY ninja. Well fudgesickles.

Tsetsiliya fell back into the snow with the force of the attack. The headache that resided behind her temples now throbbed harder, more painfully. He had a sword now. They had been told to avoid this path, but the fact was that they were here.
And she was not going to go out whimpering. Her trembling arms raised her out of the snow, and she stumbled to her feet. The wreath clutched in her hands, she gave it one more heave. It was substantially weaker than the last attack, but it still hit and caused damage.
They had to hold out, they just had to!

Mandy just barley resisted screaming when the Ninja's second attack hit her. Dear Jack That Thing Was Powerful.
Around her she saw some give last desperate attacks and hurriedly take their pills.
She saw one choice. TANGLED LIGHTS TIME. With a angry roar she whipped the lights at the Ninja, snaring him in them.

Colette cried out in pain when the ninja's attack hit her. She regretted ever choosing this path and causing most of Krumm to face such suffering. She wimpered, "I-I'm sorry guys.. I should have never brought this up."
The Reaper sighed and gritted her teeth angrily, frustrated at whole situation, "What are you even doing here? You don't look joy filled like the trees did!" This time she was speaking to the ninja, if it even cared to converse.
Colette revved up for another attack and did better this time despite her injury. She couldn't let her friends die without a fight.

"Oh god am I still alive?" He shuttered as he felt himself breathing (or what a ghost considered breathing). It then came to attention that the Ninja was tangled in Christmas lights. It couldn't move. He wiggled a paw. Neither could he...he was tangled in it too "CANDLEJACK!" Then he remembered HE WAS A ******** GHOST and phased threw the lights to the ninja's frozen hand holding out the sword. He latched onto it with his teeth trying to redeem himself for being such a pansy before. He could bring it to Sin and show her how strong he was. Then again the Ninja was just going to lop his head off when the lights fell off.

Good! One of the other ghouls had managed to trap the ninja in a string of lights! Raziel took this opportunity to make another run at the opponent. It was his chance to shine. He headed forward with growing speed, but at the last second managed to trip on something and go sprawling across the candycane path.

Barth slumped in the snow after his last attack, tired. The ninja was tangled, for this turn. And Mandy still alive, for now, because...

Not a mantra he normally employed. Slowly, slowly, he stood.
The attacks were getting closer together, and when the ninja attacked again...

Those lights had flown with such accuracy that Belladonna had never been so grateful for their tangled mess. Now that jerk-face ninja Charlie was caught in a web of plastic brightness, which rendered him unable to move. It was the perfect time to slip the wreath from her head and put it to good use. So with quick movements Belladonna jumped up, armed with the wreath in much the same way one would be armed with a frisbee.
"Hey Charlie! Think fast!" The witch shouted, jumping into the air and twirling at a fast rate while letting the wreath go at the right moment so that it flew with a touch of destiny and smacked the ninja right in the face. "TAKE THAT MOTHER JACKER!!" She shouted, jumping up and down with joy. So they might not survive another attack, but she could at least say she TRIED and that was something.

This was a freebie, they got lucky. Colette aimed another and hoped it would be as successful as the last.
She hated this ninja. It was hurting her, her friends. She didn't even understand why. He was no bouncing, giddy, or drunk tree asking for hugs.
She swung with all her might, determined to protect her friends and even the strangers she only recently met.
"Just leave us alone!"
