"Naw, that's okay, I don't need ta say nothin'," Keichii drawled from the corner of the room. He felt very ignored at the moment, though at the same time he wasn't really in the mood to give a speech. Hell, he was hardly ever in the mood to even enunciate properly.

"But I guess if ya'll're gonna twist my arm, I've gotta say I don't really care none if these Buchi're Kishi guys get nominated, but I can't help be a tad bit s'picious've a guy named like a disease." He quipped, likely referring to Virus.

"'Sides, wasn't it Sound's fault we got these here murderers runnin' 'bout killin' 'mmortals? Why sh'd they get a say'n this?" He crossed his arms and leaned back.

"Not that I really care. 'S'not like I got anything to add..."

Keichii continued to pout in his corner.

Keichii's Theme

Hakubo nodded as the Representative of sound denied his son the vote. "Indeed you are correct, I can see that might cause some issues if things become heated between the villages" He said nodding; even though he didn't have to LIKE the Sound village he was still going to remain polite to the Ninja from the Sound. "As for the two remaining Ninja; The Village hidden in the Falls agree's with both; from the reports of the incident at the Chunin exam; He would be a fine selection for the position" He said nodding slightly to the other Kage's in the room. Buchi had essentially been able to stop one Shukaku on his own; a feat that Even the Kage's would have trouble with on there own. "And I see nothing wrong with this Kishi Fellow; From the information I have on him; he seems to be quantified; however as Kirabachi has stated; he may not be willing" He had nothing to say about the Ninja offered by Sound; seeing as how the Kage from the stone had said exactly what he was going to.

"The two choices seem to be, Buchi of Kurofu and Kishi Moto."
Denrei was content. Neither of them where Sound's plaything. She'd have to watch either of them... Sound would try to get their hands on them...

"The vote goes to the Stone and Grass Kages. They will decide."

"Thank you..."
Her dryness was all but rushed.
"Then it comes down to you Lady Kusakage. Your vote will decide who is the next Head Ninja of the Udai Council."

Garou

Listening to the reports and the debates around the table garou was impressed at the fact that this high level meeting is to call in a new head ninja into the ranks, he was also very bored at the moment but as an ANBU Black Ops member he was on duty and he was not going to move from his post. Remembering from the beginning of the meeting the sound representative seemed to be the only one that barely said anything at all and just listen in to the status of all the other villages, but what really pissed him off inside was the rains representative. The guy was thinking that he could buy out the other villages or buy the votes to make himself the head ninja, well that was not going to happen and if it did come to that he was not going to follow suit in fact he had other plans in the future like saving lives of the people he knew and cared about but he was working himself up for nothing. Sighing a silent and hidden sigh garou focused more on the task at hand and continued listening in to the entire kage council debate, voting for the new head ninja who he hoped would bring peace with him and for once he nodded to himself in agreement.

in the Midnight Black?

When the Amekage made his offer, Akeru couldn't hide the temptation in her eyes. She was almost drooling with the thought of all that money, and it was pretty easy to see. However, she wasn't tempted to accept the offer though, not that she even could, only being a bodyguard and having no say in the proceedings. Her temptation was to take it from the guy, since he obviously didn't know much about the ninja world, she thought it would be all too easy to do. She had already considered following this "kage" into a dark alley, slotting him, and asuming his identity with a Henge and some genjutsu manipulation. Or possibly one of the more old-fashioned ways: either breaking in and pilfering some of this fortune, or waltzing up and taking it all by force. Of course, she decided to force the thoughts out of her mind. She was no criminal, and definitely wouldn't risk damaging Suna's reputation or sparking a conflict by doing such a thing.

Still, she was wondering why someone didn't just shut the guy up. He obviously didn't belong there with all the other kages. They were an odd bunch with extremely varied personalities, but all of them were at least deserving of some kind of respect. Except for the stand-in for the Otokage. From what she was hearing, Sound was causing problems, so Akeru was wondering why all these kages didn't just crush the village. She supposed she needed to learn more about the politics in these kind of situations, especially if she wanted to be a kage one day too.

When Masato spoke, however, Akeru couldn't help but put her hands on her hips, a little annoyed. Surely there was more going on in Suna than that, he had skipped over the whole replacement of Tanto, a recent but still significant event. He was making Suna sound like a boring place compared to some of the others. And what was that he said about the quality of ninja declining!? She was proof enough that Suna's quality of ninja was just fine.

Akeru was glad to hear some news of Ichi, however. She had been worried about him ever since he was forced out of the village since he was a friend. It was good to know he was alive, even if that was all she knew. She remained quiet, waiting for the kages to reach some kind of decision. In all truth, this meeting was a lot more interesting than she thought it was going to be. Still, she was craving for something to do besides listen.
