The first man reacted very oddly in what Sennyo's mind was considered proper social interaction. He did not turn to face Sennyo, but instead turned the side of his head to the direction Sennyo was. Then, he made this flying leap and landed directly in front of Sennyo and began speaking rather loudly as though Sennyo were further back. Sennyo looked up at the man, who was nearly double his height; however, he could really only stare for a few moments until he realized that the person must not actually be aware that he was standing here which indicated that he could not either see or sense him. Sennyo cocked his head to the side and looked at his compatriot. They both were relatively strong people, possibly ninja or warriors in some way. Sennyo neither knew nor cared what special history they had mostly because he was unaware of most things in the world due to his rather small and sheltered Village upbringing. However, even if he was aware of it, Sennyo would have most likely forgot. Sennyo often forgot most things that he had not ingrained into his head, but that was neither here nor there.
"Fine? You guys looked awfully sad. You sure you're okay?" Sennyo's tone was both questioning and cheery as though he was genuinely trying to cheer them up. He did not really know what made them sad, but he was sure that it could not be all bad. He was under the impression that, once you talked out a problem, it went away. Plus, he had all the time in the world and talking to strangers (especially strong strangers) seemed an interesting way to pass the time. Clearly, Sennyo paid no attention in that 'Stranger Danger' class.

"Good observations Hibiki. My initial guess was that this was a setup made by the Mission offices, like a set used as only a trap. However, there was no notion of such a setup in the scroll, now that I think about it... There is a chance that the vandals simply haven't gotten to this building yet.. but why this one? The blackmail theory carries weight as well, but if these people are paying a fee to make sure they don't get it, they are likely not to admit it... We'll need to ask around town. The same is true for your third potential motive." Kyuzaku paused, and glanced at his two team mates. He couldn't trust these two as far as he could throw them, but he needed information now, before night hit.
"Here's the game plab bros, Hibiki, I want you to scope out the building. Find me every entrance and exit, and any nearby vantage points where you can see one or two entire faces of the building. Rinku, I'm giving you the job of speaking to the owner of this shop. Make it clear that you are a ninja who has been sent to take down the vandals in the area. Tell them that you are going to them with the best interests for their shop. If you can, persuade them to let us stake out their shop from the outside, and set up traps if possible. If they refuse, simply report that to me. If necessary, we'll survive staking out from outside, which is why I'm having Hibiki look for vantage points. Meanwhile, I'll be questioning people around town. I'd like to see what sort of information I can get from them, such as offers at protection, or if anyone knows any suspects. We'll meet back here... In an hour. If you feel your end of the job is finished, join one of the other two in their job. We can cover more ground that way. Do you two understand my orders?"

Rinku looked over to Habiki who was making acute observations than spurred on some ideas of how things should go down. He made a remark on Kyuzaku’s leadership. But either Kyuzaku ignored it, or failed to identify it. Kyuzaku then gave himself and the others a task. Rinku lightly nodded and walked to the nice building. Rinku sighed. “Hope this isn’t a trap…” Rinku opened the door and walked inside. It was very clean and well kept. Rinku peered around, he couldn’t quite figure out what it was the shop was selling, but it appeared to be miscellaneous and random. At the end of the room a young lady sat behind a desk, she looked rather bored and was simply thumbing through some papers. That’s weird… has she even seen what it’s like outside…? Ugh… whatever… this is just bizarre… Rinku stepped up and tried to put on a hero face. “Hello there, I’m a shinobi sent to eliminate thieves in the area, anything suspicious going on lately?” Rinku gave her a big smile. The woman sighed as if she wished she were deaf and unable to hear him. “Look honey, either buy something or get out… I’m in no mood for jokes…” Rinku let his smile fade. Damn… even the citizens are in a bad mood… I guess that’s reasonable, considering the state this place is in… Rinku stopped the tough guy act, realizing it wasn’t fooling anyone, not even the common people. He put his elbow down on the counter and said. “I don’t know whether you’ve noticed yet or not, lady, but the marketplace here has been in pretty poor shape…” The lady looked up and said “Yeah, tell that to my father, he said, “no Angie, we’ll be the best shop on the street, everyone will want to come here,” and yet not a single customer since we came here.” Rinku nodded, “So how long has this shop been up?” She sighed “I don’t know… couple of days now… they built the place so fast because my dad had a lot of friends.” Rinku then sternly said. “Well, your dad may not know this, but this place is kind of a hot spot for thieves lately, and we feel like your place might be targeted next. As shinobi of the mist country, we would request that you let us stake out at your shop and set up traps around the area.” The girl seemed to not be listening. “Uhh… umm…” Rinku tried to think about how he could get her to pay attention. “This would really be within the best interest of your shop, if us shinobi can apprehend these criminals quickly, then the less chance your shop has of being robbed.” The girl finally looked up as if to say, great your still here. She stared at him in disgust for several minutes and then said. “Ugh… fine, let’s go.” She got up and began to walk away. “Wh- Wait!” Rinku chased after her to the hallway. They walked in the hallway which had a very nice red rug on the floor with an interesting black design on it that Rinku’s never seen before. Lining the hallway were several lamp stands as well as lamps of different colors on them. Hard to believe this place was set up in a matter of days. She began to walk to downstairs, as Rinku followed he began to smell tobacco and coughed a little. They soon came to a metal door. The girl knocked on it really hard and said “Daddy! There’s some “shinobi” here to see you.” When there was no response she sighed and kicked open the door. She then pushed Rinku inside and walked away. Rinku peered into the dim litted basement area. Everything was musty and smelly. Rinku called out “Is… Is anyone there?” An old man suddenly popped in from a corner and said “Ah, hello there mister shinobi, what can I be doing for you?” Rinku tried to back away a little, the man reeked of cigarettes and wasn’t too pleasant to look at either. “Uhhh… hey, we-“ But he was interrupted. “You’re a ninja who has been sent to eliminate the little thieves problem we got in this market place are ya?” Rinku nodded. The old man smiled and said. “What is it, I, a humble shop owner, do for you?” Rinku felt something strange about this man. Either he was hiding something up his sleeve, or he was just the most awkward old man he’d ever met. “My team and I would like to set up traps and use your shop to stake out, seeing how your place is most likely to be attacked in the near future.” The old man grinned fully. “Yes, yes my boy, do as you will, apprehend those no good miscreants on behalf of our store… though I hope you won’t mind my daughter. She’s been in a bad mood ever since we left home” Rinku wanted to get out of there as soon as possible so he nodded and said. “Yes, thank you very much old man, we will do what we can to apprehend the bandits as quick as possible.” Rinku closed the door behind him and walked back upstairs. When he got back to the first floor he walked through the main hall. He began to shuffle through some of the things around here. He found a couple of ancient scrolls, that seemed to have no definite meaning, he also found an old hard cover book. He skimmed through it, but found nothing of importance. Inside the shop the shelves were so inconsistent that it made Rinku wonder what exactly they sold here. Rinku couldn’t even find a price tag on any of the items. Rinku walked up to the front desk again and although he was not excited for his next engaging conversation with the lady, he became curious. “This shop… what do you guys sell exactly.” The girl looked up, once again her look was piercing and angry. “Ugh man… look… I just work here… and no one has even come in here yet, so I really don’t know… From the looks of it… we just sell crap… old things my father used to have, but now he’s trying to sell to make money…” Rinku stroked his chin. “How did he get the money to build this place anyway?” The girl sighed again, irritated that he was still there. “My dad had a couple friends that helped pay for the construction, I forget what he gave them in return… like it matters… now you! Buy something or get out of my sight.” Rinku smiled and nodded. “Thank you for your help.” The girl smirked “Buzz off…” Rinku began to walk towards the exit. Well, weird place indeed, but if we stake out here we may be able to learn more about what’s going on exactly.

Novvus tensed when Kaji told him that they had been followed. The prospect of not having been able to detect their pursuers on his own told the dark-skinned boy that he needed more training in the art of tracking. " Don't worry Kaji, i will take care of this." replied Novvus as he dried himself off with the towel, having hydrosynthesized on the way to the house. Man! he thought, Kaji must have really done something outrageous to have someone follow him through a storm. Depending on how bad what he did was, i might not be able to help him out... A non too gentle knock came from the door, causing Kaji to drop down into a battle stance. "So you gonna turn me over to them?" Novvus sighed, walking over to the door. Before he opened it, the dark-skinned boy weighed the situation in his mind. His mission was to terminate anyone who had threatened the village, and Kaji had proved to be that after killing an academy instructor. Then again, Novvus had witnessed Kaji being very caring for Kurosai, so he was at a loss of what to think. " There has to be more to this story." The dark-skinned boy turned his gaze on the visitor. " Kaji, listen to me. You are in a very tough spot here, and i am the only person who can help you. Tell me exactly what happened earlier today. Leave nothing out. If you tell me the truth, i might be able to convince them not to take your life."

Brow furrowed, Sai took his time crossing over to where the strange elven looking boy stood talking to his brother. He was in no rush, whatever the person wanted was more then likely nothing that was going to be of great importance as the only people that talked to him and his brother were those that were on orders to do so, and in Sai's eyes they meant nothing. In any case it was what they're plan was to evolve into that was most important at the current moment, that was where Sai needed his thoughts at not some random kid.
"So what is it this time?" Sai asked in a dull tone when he finally reached the two, his thoughts so scattered that he hadn't overheard anything that the two had discussed. Letting his bright blue eyes fall upon the small but lean built boy, Sai let his mind wonder away his current objective and allowed himself a moment of questioning curiosity. Whoever the person was had a unique body, that was for sure, as it was definitely not common to see such a short and leaned built person with different colored eyes... and more so with horns sprouting out above them. "Anything I need to care about?" Unlike his twin who was sightless, Sai kept his eyes trained on the person before him not sure how to evaluate him yet.

Kaji looked at Novvus and then back to the door. He let out a growl as the knocking on the door became a savage pounding. "I warned the teacher not to touch my dog or he'd regret it. He put us both into a genjutsu, stabbed my dog in the genjutsu, and then broke the genjutsu. He hurt my only family, so I ran him through and ripped out his liver. I warned him not to, and everyone else new what was going to happen, but he did it anyway." Kaji growled. He realized that he was probably going to have to fight his way out and sighed. "You Seem like an alright guy." Kaji said as he backed further into the corner. "Don't make me fight you. I can't guarantee your safety." He warned as his muscles tensed and he got ready to bolt out of the house.

Sennyo turned to Sai, and he had to say that he looked to be the sadder of the two, but perhaps he was mistaking sadness with some other emotion, possibly preoccupation. However, he was exceedingly happy today, and he really did not like the look of sad people. In fact, all he really wanted to do was make these two happy or at the very least happier. He had no idea why he was drawn to them in the first place, but they seemed an interesting pair. Plus, this was the day he graduated. No one should be so displeased today.
"Well, whether you care or not is entirely up to you, but you guys looked sad. This is far too nice a day to be sad. The sun is partially out behind the mist, there must be birds singing somewhere, and i just graduated the Academy. Come on, you guys can cheer up, right?" Sennyo put his hands behind his back and smiled. Sennyo's tone was always bright and cheerful. he just hoped that the concern of a stranger would help them out. Usually, he enjoyed the company of other people, so it must be so that everyone would be as social as he was.

Of course my observations were good, I'm no slouch. Hibiki thought angrily in his mind as he was given a small job to do. It was a simple job, it was basically in the job description as a tracker nin. Gather data, and then report to someone. Or at least its kinda close to the job description. At least he didn't get the boring job of talking to the store owner, he would have gotten on someone's bad side. "Sure thing Kyuzaku."Despite his easy job, he did not want to show how he wasn't able to do it. So retrieving his flute from his bag and setting up, he turned from his two comrades to his pal, Kuro, "Alright boy, this is how we'll do this." With excitement, the Ninsune began wagging his tail merrily, "I want you to go on the north side of the building and search the area. One tone is an entrance, Two tones is evidence, Three tones means its an emergency, I'll also return a noise to make sure I heard you. If you are in any trouble, you should know what to do. Same for me, I'll give you an A for an entrance, a C for evidence, and a G flat for an emergency, return the note with the appropriate tone so I know you heard me. If I get in any trouble, don't worry about me, you should probably contact Kyuzaku or Rinku. However, you should know by the sound of my flute if that is necessary. Got it?" Kuro yipped twice as Hibiki continued on, "Alright, start with the north, and go east. I'll do the south and the west. Meet back right here."Kuro bounded off down one of the side allies, which was the west side of the building, and was out of sight within seconds. Hibiki sighed audibly before testing his flute by playing a quick scale and arpeggio. He adjusted the head joint and then produced the same sounds, although with better quality. Alright, the south side, which is coincidentally the front of the store. The Inuzuka played a loud A note, and paused. After hearing a yip from Kuro, he advanced towards the front of the building, sniffing around curiously. It was no different than the second time he had studied the front of the building, however, it wasn't long before he heard another yip coming from Kuro. He played an A note again before moving to the west side. That tone came from the south side, obviously a back door or some cargo loading ramp. I'll have to personally check it out when I have time. The alleyway was nothing less than what was expected. With a half broken down store next door, there was debris scattered aimlessly around the alley. The only thing that was here was a large dumpster, which was obviously used by this store. Not one to overlook anything, he gingerly opened the top of the dumpster. "Oh god damn it all!" Hibiki shouted as he practically fall backwards and crawled away from the trash heap. "That has got to be the worst smelling dumpster I have ever laid eyes on!...But it's for the mission..." He tried to psyche himself up for this moment. The smell was horrendous the first time, he didn't want to lose his sense of smell because of a stinky trash can! This time, he flipped open the dumpster as fast as possible and then jumped backwards. A flurry of flies escaped the heap and began to encircle it, not wanting to evacuate their comfortable homes. Hibiki sucked in as much breath as possible, then looked over the top of it. At first glance, there was nothing but trash bags, but a closer look revealed something else. From where he was standing, he could make out a doorknob, which was part of a very well camouflaged door. With a surprised gasp, the Fox-like tracking nin jumped backwards and inspected the area. His eyes traced from the dumpster to the building, and tried to imagine a small hallway connecting the two. With an excited smile, he played a A, and then a C. One for an entrance, another for evidence. Kuro returned the yips, one yip for the A, and two for the C. There was nothing else noteworthy from this alleyway beside a half-broken fire escape on the building next door. However, as he was about to return to the front and await his companion, three yips were heard coming from the north side of the building. Quickly playing a G flat, Hibiki sprinted towards the back side of the building by going back the way he just came. Jumping over the dumpster, he skidded to a stop as he rounded the corner. Upon seeing Kuro's back, as the fox was too busy staring at what was in front of him, Hibiki slowly approached his friend. The Ninsune glanced at him then looked back at what appeared to be a blue cloth. "That's it?" Hibiki questioned, approaching the item. He thought it was just a blue piece of fabric, but Kuro isn't some dumb canine, if it was just evidence, he wouldn't have made the emergency call. However, picking it up, he noticed that there was a piece of metal attached to it. As soon as he flipped it over, his eyebrows flew upwards. "Nice work, Kuro! Only problem is, what does it mean?" The Inuzuka closed his eyes, trying to make a logical fit to it all. The only thing he could do was draw assumptions. "Although this is a powerful piece of evidence, we must move on to our next objective. We must find a good, or several good, vantage points. The only ones I've seen so far, is the fire escape on the next building over on the west side. However, from what I have gathered, that may be the only one we need, since you could potentially see the back door, front door, and the dumpster from that position. Alright, this is good, we should report back to that obnoxious Kyu now." Kuro yipped once in agreement as Hibiki put the Mist Headband that his Ninsune found in his tool pouch as he returned to the front of the store.

When the other two ninja left to do their duties, Kyu did an about face. It was his turn to do his. His job, as he said, was to gather information on the streets from the people of the marketplace. Kyu made some quick plans. First, he would question the shop owners. He needed to know if they were offered protection from damages in the past. He would also ask them if they knew of any suspicious people who might be doing these crimes. Second, he would question non-shop owners. Perhaps someone saw a break in, or maybe they’ve noticed something odd about the new shop on the street. Kyu looked at the battered buildings, shops, and stalls, and picked the one that stuck out to him most.
Directly across from the nice shop was a dingy shop with broken windows and a removed door. The splintered wood door sat outside in a trash pile. Over the open doorway was a sign that read, ‘South Kirigakure’s Best! Ninja Tool Blacksmithy!” Kyu walked up to the doorway, and entered the room. Tables were shattered into splinters, and the shelves were empty. Kyu saw a bit of metal in the back, and saw that it was being shaped into a kunai; however, the maker had stopped half way or something. Kyu looked around for the shopkeep, but saw none, so he called, “Hello? Is anyone here?” A call came from the back, then a young, irritated-looking man came out. He had reddish hair and a goatee, and wore tight fitting clothing.
The man said, “Whattaya want, can’t ya tell that we’re out of business!” Kyu was stunned, “Out of business? Listen bro, my name is Kyuzaku Hoshigaki, and I’m a Kirigakure ninja. Me and my team have been hired to take down the gang that’s been vandalizing this side of town. Please, any information about them would be much appreciated.” The man shook his head, but Kyuzaku continued, “First, I need to know the extent of damage upon your shop. Maybe a list of what has been destroyed or stolen… I notice that you have no wares to sell in your shop, did they steal everything, sir?” The irritable fellow scoffed, “They took everything, every shuriken, every kunai, every ninja wire, and even all my coal for lighting the forge. They destroyed my safe and took all my money as well. As it is now, I’m broke and bankrupt. I can’t afford coal, I can’t afford metal, I can barely afford food to stay alive. Not only is my business ruined financially, but even if I did get the materials to forge again, why would any sucker step into a shop that can’t even afford a door!?”
Kyuzaku frowned beneath his mask, and his brows softened, “Well… That sucks…” The angered man slammed his splintered table with his rough metal-worker’s fists, “Sucks doesn’t describe what this is you dolt. This is an atrocity. And I’m not the only one, every freaking shop on this street has felt the same level of destruction. Except… Except for the shop across the street. New as it is, it gets new supplies often. Although it’s rather unknown right now, and it’s consumer base isn’t large, we’ll have no chance of survival once they take off. They sell everything there, and the word is that the owner is looking to buy out the buildings next to him. He’ll pay, what, a hundred ryo for those buildings? Because that’s all that those poor people will be able to sell it for! Before you know it, he’ll have three lots to sell his wares! Don’t you see where this is going! Monopolization! As long as we are crumpled in the corner, and he stays as shiny and new as he is, we hard-working tradesmen are in huge danger.”
Kyuzaku scratched his head. Economics was never his strong suit, but this was something he could understand. One way or another, this building was benefiting from the gang in a huge way. “Do you suppose that the shop owner is behind the gang?” The angry man stared deep into Kyuzaku’s eyes, “No doubt about it, but there’s no proof. His shipments are legitimate; I’ve seen them come in from suppliers that once supplied me. Not only that, but he had a sizable load of trinkets to sell the day he opened shop.” There was a silence in the room, “But you know what?” he said, shaking, his face turning beet red, “I don’t even blame him… I BLAME YOU!” Kyuzaku jumped back, “What?!” “You ninja, all high and mighty on the other side of town! You are so busy with your damned commissioned missions that you don’t even pay attention to the crimes in your own town! Your captains would make you jump off a cliff if it meant making a couple hundred ryo! But if a town that’s bankrupt from crime asks for help and, Buddha forbid, they don’t have a single coin to give you, you’ll look the other way until it affects your flow of money! Don’t lie, that’s why you’re here! The ninja city can’t collect sales tax on their shops if the sales have run down to nothing! I’ve given you your damned information shinobi, now get the hell out of my shop!” Kyu nodded, and walked to the doorway. He solemnly looked back, and said, “Thank you, sir. I promise we will right these wrongs.” Kyu exited the forge and sighed, “That was much more information than I expected, but now I can safely go on to Part Two. I need to speak with a market goer… Too bad there’s barely any looking around anymore. Kyuzaku looked up and down the street. People in the street were either trying to fix their broken shops, or were looking in vain for any sales at all. This once-thriving marketplace is such a wreck now… But… There must be someone around… Someone who knows or has seen something…” Kyuzaku heard a ding-a-ling from across the street. Exiting the nice shop was a lady. She was in her fifties or so, and was quite rotund in shape. To match her roundness, she had a very round bun. Together with her round face, she looked rather like a snowman. Unlike the rest of the town, she looked pleased, as if she had bought something she liked.
Kyuzaku walked over to her, and introduced himself, “Hello, ma’am, my name is Kyuzaku Hoshigaki; I’m a ninja of the Mist. Right now, I’m on a mission to investigate the vandalism in the marketplace. However, I noticed that you just bought something from this shop. Can you please tell me, have you found anything… odd about the shop?”
The woman put a sausage finger to her inflated red lips, “Well, not really… Wait… there is one thing!” Kyuzaku’s eyebrows rose, “What would that be?” The woman answered, “The shop has prices far below any the market ever had! I might go as far to say that it was a real bargain! I got this cute wallscroll calendar for just one ryo! According to the shop owner, this is a unique scroll from a man from an artist in Fire Country. Oh what stories that man has! Stories so fantastic they’re almost hard to believe! But, they’re so detailed, it’s like he was there, so I assume he was. Like the story of another thing I was looking at… I found a decorative tanto in there, it looked just like one that Mr. Ejiki had a month or two ago. It was one he had handmade just for him by a master sword smith outside of Kirigakure, so, unfortunately, he wouldn’t sell the beautiful thing to me. But then, I found one at this shop, just like it!” Her voiced dropped to a whisper, “Now, naturally, I thought that maybe it was stolen, considering that Mr.Ejiki had lost his maybe… A week before… to those awful bandits,” her voice piped back up again, “But that old man in there explained to me where he’d gotten it! It was a thing he’d gotten in his travels. Apparently, his decorative knife was made by the very same sword smith! He found out afterward that the smith wasn’t as skillful as he’d originally thought, as so many of his swords looked so alike. That’s why he was selling it for such a low price! Oh my, I felt like such a fool, suspecting him of theft! Well, I really must be going Mr. Hoshigaki, I bid you good luck on your mission.” She chuckled, then walked around the shark ninja, and down the street. Kyuzaku held his chin, “That’s interesting… Interesting indeed…”

Rinku sighed as he began to walk away from the store. He took one quick glance around. Then a slight glimmer caught his eyes. It was a very large box to the left of the store. Rinku tilted his head and walked over. Inside was a bunch of ninja tools. ninja tools…? That’s kinda odd… The way the tools had been put in this bin were sloppy, the shuriken’s and kunai’s were mixed together. The set up was so dangerous he wasn’t sure if it was being sold or collected. He messed around with the tools and looked around at the rest of the shop. Dolls, scrolls, there was even small packages of food. He shook his head and looked down at the tools. I don’t understand… what’s going on here… something’s just not right… He looked up to see a dusty mirror. But when he peered in it he saw a masked man behind him. He threw a dagger at Rinku, but Rinku moved his head to avoid the blow. “Teh- What is this!” He turned around and reached into his satchel. Pencil… notebook… Oh crap that’s right… I never picked up my ninja tools this morning did I… So he pointed instead. “Hey, you!” But the man who had realized his attack had been foiled ran outside of the shop. He ran after, but looked towards the desk woman first to see that she had either not cared or not noticed as she did not move an inch. Rinku shook his head and ran outside. Where did he go… He looked left and then right, then backwards to find that he was scaling the building. What… he… is he supposed to be a shinobi? Rinku ran after him scaling the building. Rinku never quite got the wall walking technique down, but in the academy his instructor told him “Well, you never had a thing for chakra focusing, but when it comes to power, you’ve got some potential.” His instructor taught him to infuse nature manipulation into his step. Using static electricity to keep his footing. Rinku has since been capable of doing the wall walking technique without it, but preferred the static as it made him feel a little more comfortable and was a little more easily executed. Rinku yelled at the man “HEY, JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!!!” Rinku grabbed the pencil in his satchel and threw it at the escaping man. It missed the man, but he was now aware of his follower. When they got to the top of the roof the masked man stood still. Rinku smiled and said "Prepare to be apprehended bad guy!". The man shook his head and put his arms by his side. Rinku ran at him very quickly and punched the man straight in the chest. As the man hit the floor he dissipated in smoke. “Crap… a clone…” Rinku looked off the edge of the building. “Man… what did that guy want anyways…” Rinku began to think. I wonder… if that Inuzuka guy can identify the smell of that guy’s kunai… Rinku dropped off the building and landed and walked back into the building. The woman had still not moved a muscle. Rinku sighed. “Did you even realize what happened?” She looked up in agony then realizing it was him again she sighed and got up. Without a word she walked to the back hall to where Rinku met the smelly shop owner. Rinku sighed and walked over to where the ninja tools were. The Kunai that strange man had was an interesting shape compared to the others. He took it by one finger in the small loop then gently put it into his satchel. I suppose this counts as important enough to tell the others… I wonder if that man was the thief… or perhaps he was just out on an assassination mission… wait that doesn’t make any sense… what did I do? Ugh man… what a pain… this mission couldn’t just be as simple as catching the thieves right in the act. Rinku walked outside of the store and turned back around towards it. “It’s weird… this store doesn’t fit in with anything around here… what did this guy have to gain by building the shop in the middle of a financial downfall…”

"That's odd." Hibiki commented, as he sat outside the store waiting for his teammates. Kuro looked curiously at the Inuzuka. "Our hour is nearly over, and I haven't seen anyone here yet. Think we should investigate a bit more.?" He asked, awaiting the answer from the fox. Kuro looked down at the ground for a long moment before looking back up. "Sounds good to me." Standing up in unison, Hibiki explained himself further, "The north, south, east, and west sides have already been checked, only place left is the dumpster door, which I refuse to do without backup, and the roof. From the roof we could also scout out the surrounding areas." Kuro nodded in agreement as the two set off for the roof. Or they would have if a rather plump lady did not just bump into the young tracker-nin, knocking him over. With a small "Oh!" the woman giggled a little, "I am so sorry hun! Didn't see you there!" She quickly apologized as she waddled around him and kept going. Hibiki growled under his breath while muttering an obscenity. His eyes saw a small glint on the ground ahead of him. It was a rather decorative knife, something one would see only if they had enough ryo to buy out a village. "Excuse me, miss!" He called out as he grabbed the weapon and jogged to catch up to her. "You seemed to have dropped your one-of-a-kind, and overly expensive, decorative tanto when we collided!" The Inuzuka said with child-like innocence, hoping she wouldn't notice the excitement in his eyes. Kuro sat down on his haunches as he too examined every aspect to this meeting. "Oh my! Thank you dear! You shinobi seem to be everywhere today!" She snatched her purchase out of his hands and began to go on her way. "Wait! What do you mean we seem to be everywhere today? Have you encountered more than just me?" He called out as she began to walk away. "Oh dearie, lets see." She turned around and began to look towards the sky, obviously searching the contents of her memory, "There was you, a blue-skinned fellow, and another man, he had this eye catching green scarf. Ugh! It was simply horrible! It clashed so much with the rest of his outfit! However, the blue man was simply charming! I told him about my savings from that new shop right over there. The sales are to die for! Did you know, I just bought the cutest little scroll..." Hibiki began to tune her out as she began to prattle on about the things she had bought. There was me, a blue-skinned fellow, and good ole' Green Scarf. I'm going to take a WILD guess here and say that second ninja was Kyu, but Green Scarf? I'm beginning to see that there is more to this mission than we thought. Even though his mind began to work out the evidence, he still kept an ear out for anything noteworthy in the woman's speech. He nodded, laughed, and gasped in all the right places to make sure she knew he was listening. "I'm sorry to cut this short, but I have other duties to attend to." The flute player said rather randomly. "Oh! Quite all right, dearie. I do have a book club I must get to. Marge will have my head on a silver platter if I miss this meeting, we're just getting to the climax where the brave heroine of the story just fell head over heels with the macho coal miner..." Hibiki smile began to tense up as he spoke over her, "Goodbye Ma'am!" He replied rather loudly, as he turned around towards the store. I don't have to be nice anymore, she gave me the information needed. He thought, reassuring himself. The mist genin glanced towards Kuro as they walked back to the store, "It seems something is up." He simply murmured as he spotted Rinku exiting the shop. "Hey!" With a slight wave, he rejoined his Kiri Comrade. "We are in over our heads." He stated to Rinku, slight worry in his voice as Kuro nodded.

Sorain held a puzzled expression on his face, even without his eyes showing the pure bewilderment was obvious. This guy was weird to say the least simply from the way he spoke. But what was getting to him even more than that was this guys needless happiness. Up until this point Sorain had always assumed that the Ninja world was a cruel one and that all whom walked the path of a Shinobi was just as toremented as he and his brother were, but now he stood in the presences of someone who was actually exited about the life that he had chosen. Sorain wondered for a moment if he was like that when he first entered the academy. After several moments of silence Sorain finnaly decided to speak, allowing those thoughts to slowly take the back burner. "Congratulations, when your first coming up will be the best part" He said in an attempt to hold back his jaded outlook of the Shinobi life. "eh.. I hate the sun" He said folding his arms back into his sleeves and moving towards a tree that stood just a few steps away from them. Turning and leaning his back against the tree, it instantly frosted over causes the leaves to fall to the ground and shatter against the cold ground.
From his right side Sorain could here the faint cries of a shop owner yelling out as a group of what sounded like Shinobi fleeing from the area. The klang of metal from their attached weapons was all the indication that he needed to know that these were not regular villagers. No, these were ninja, Ninja whom's jobs it was to protect this village and were instead using their training to steal and pillage. Sorain grunted before returning his focus back to the conversation. He was not sure if he really felt like being bothered with such a thing. The way the villagers had been treating him and his brother, and especially after the incident at the Mission Post, he was not in a very patriotic mood. Sorain remained silent, wondering if his brother would pick up on the event as he had.

Sai raised an eyebrow at the strange fellow, his bright blue eyes watching him even more curiously before turning away to stare into the skies above, his eyes only closing slightly to avoid the glare from the sun from hurting them. "Congratulations on graduating." Sai muttered after his brother gave his congratulatory, but that was all he said on the subject for the moment's baring. Instead he simply stood there with his hands firmly on his hips, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his skin as his breath smoked from his lips in white wispy clouds and puffed up before disappearing in the air. After a moment, however, Sai sucked in his lower lip and bit it as he turned back to look at his brother and then the short person with a heavy frown. "Eh... Kid's got a point, its boring right now. Lets go do something. Any suggestions?"

Sorain gave his brother a slightly devilish grin, "Well, before this guy showed up I was thinking that we should go make some perpetrations" He said, hoping that his brother would understand what he meant. At this point he knew that in due time it might be necessary for Sorain and Sai to make a quick escape from this village. As he began pondering it further he continued to consider the fact that if they did leave then undoubtedly the Anbu, or at the very least a few teams would be sent after them. They would need some sort of distraction or at the very least a deterrent that would buy them some time should they ever find the need to escape rapidly. Sorain turned and began to pace around, mentally planing out their route and how his new found idea would be the perfect solution for their boredom while still giving them some sort of long term advantage. "We need to head down to the market district" he said giving his brother a nod. They would venture to the market area, purchases the necessary tools and then head through out the village plant as many traps and other nick nacks that they could. That way if they should ever find the need to cause a massive smoke screen they could do so. Sorain frowned as he remembered that they had a 'guest' in there presence. No matter, this could actually be to their advantage. "Hey, umm" He said as he remembered that he did not know the kids name. Had he said it and Sorain simply not noticed? That was possible, none the less he continued, "Wanna tag along with us for awhile? Were gonna head down to the market area and pick up a few things."

Sai grinned widely in turn to his brother the hint hitting completely on target for him, "Yea, that's a great idea. We're up for that long mission haul, so it'd be a great idea to pick up some supplies." Chuckling, Sai began to count things off on his fingers as he made a mental list in his head of all the things that they would need, lips moving to mouth the words soundlessly. It was a given that the two would need a large supply of explosive tags if they wanted to accomplish their job but they would require other supplies as well if they wanted to make sure they would also get away with it. Wires, kunais, shuriken, a dozen powder kegs, smoke bombs, and varies gas bombs that included the variants of tear gas and knock out gas. "We wont be able to get everything we need there though... We'd probably only be able to stock up on a quarter of our supplies if we do go." Sai replied. The market district would be useful in getting their tools and it was more then likely they would have everything they needed but it was a given that they were being watched, definitely after the incident in the Mission Office. And even if they weren't it would have drawn too much attention for some random shinobi that never made business there before to suddenly show up and buy such a large supply of dangerous equipment, it just would sound off too many alarms.
"We're going to have to head down to the slums and possibly into the next village. Hopefully not though, we should be able to get what we need in the slums." He remarked before turning too look at the short kid that had joined them, a smile stretched across his lips, "Yea bud, you should definitely tag along. This is going to be a fun day, one I promise you'll never forget and will definitely leave this celebratory day of your graduation with, mmm, fireworks." The boy chuckled before turning away to walk down the tree bridge's path towards the market district.
