The teacher continued to preach about theory for most of the day but stopped when there was a knock on the door. The teacher answered the door and then stepped out of the classroom. When he stepped back inside he had a big grin on his face. "Kaji since you're always wanting something practical there's someone waiting for you outside. Have fun." The teacher said mockingly as he sent Kaji out the door. "And take your mutt with you." He added as Kaji stood up. "Kurosai let's go!" Kaji said with a smile on his face as he walked towards the door. Kurosai leaped up from where he was sleeping and shook his body to wake up before running after Kaji. When Kaji stepped outside of the classroom and into the hall he caught a familiar scent. "That smells like blood." Kaji growled as he popped his claws. He followed the scent out into the training grounds. He dodged an attack from a hidden assailant as he stepped to the side. If it hadn't been for his keen sense of smell Kaji would have caught a kunai to the side of the face. "Kurosai it's go time!" He shouted as his fangs popped into place and he adopted his fighting stance. Kurosai tossed the kunai to Kaji and growled as he tried to locate the attacker. When he found the attacker he let out a sharp bark. Kaji nodded and threw a kunai into the tree above them. Kaji could tell his attacker had moved because of the rustling of the tree's leaves and the lack of wind. He sniffed the air and realized that his opponent was behind him just in time to duck beneath a strike. Kurosai launched himself at the attacker and bit down on his arm slowing him down long enough for Kaji to sweep out his legs. As his attacker fell to the ground Kaji saw that he was wearing a hidden mist headband. "What the hell?!" He growled as he jumped back and signaled Kurosai to fall back. "Why are you attacking me?! We're on the same side!" Kaji shouted as he dodged another kunai. The man gave no answer and continued his assault. "Fine you wanna play rough let's play rough. Kurosai!" Kaji growled as he leapt at the man. Kurosai ran in and severed the mans Achilles tendon while Kaji distracted him. When he fell Kaji pushed his claws into the man's neck drawing a single drop of blood. "Now answer me or I kill you." He growled as he bared his fangs. "You fight pretty good kid. Maybe you're ready for a real test after all." The man said just before he disappeared in a puff of smoke. Kaji growled and retracted his fangs and claws as he got to his feet. "Come on Kurosai let's go home." He said as they headed off into the wilderness. -67 lines-

Kaji knew that he was being followed by that strange man but he ignored him until they got into the clearing he called home. He leapt up into one of the trees and popped his claws. "I know you've been following me. This is my home and you're trespassing. I suggest you leave while you still can." Kaji growled as he turned to face his tracker.
"You showed great promise Kaji, your savage nature makes you ruthless. That's just what this nation needs. If you can kill the rest of your class you will graduate." The man chuckled. Kaji's eyes went wide and he let out a loud growl. He popped his fangs and lunged at the man.
"HOW ABOUT I KILL YOU INSTEAD!" He roared as he slashed at the man. He smiled as he felt warm blood gush over his hands but then the man disappeared. "You disappoint me Kaji, I thought you had potential. Now I have to kill you." He said nonchalantly.
A kunai came out of nowhere and would have slammed into Kaji's back if Kurosai didn't take the hit for him. Kurosai let out a loud yelp and fell to the ground whimpering. Suddenly Kaji's chakra level's flared up and a primal roar echoed through out the forest. "YOU SON OF A b***h! I'LL GUT YOU LIKE A FISH!" He screamed as he lunged at the man. He raked his claws across the man's face and sunk his fangs into his forehead. The man disappeared again, but this time he left a trail of blood from the first hit. "You little p***k!" The man shouted.
Now that Kaji could smell fresh blood he could track the man's movements. He lunged at where the man had hidden himself and tore open the mans chest with a quick swing of his left hand. The man teleported away again but Kaji was already waiting for him at his destination and speared him through the gut with his right hand. Kaji closed his hand and tore out his intestines. "DIE!" He screamed as the man coughed up his own blood and looked at the academy student in horror.
Then the teacher broke the genjutsu and looked at Kaji in amazement. "You...are...absolutely savage Kaji... you are a danger to the other students...I'm graduating you to gennin, now get out of my classroom and away from my students." The teacher said as he handed Kaji his headband. Kaji was panting and growling as he snatched the headband and grabbed the teacher by the throat.
"You don't ******** touch him! I warned you!" Kaji growled and with that he stabbed his teacher with his claws and tightened his grip on his organs. "Now you die" Kaji growled as he tore out his instructor's liver. Blood gushed over the floor and the coppery smell of blood flooded kaji's nose. A smile crossed his face as he heard Kurosai barking. He retracted his claws and let the wolf lick the blood off his hand. "Come on Kurosai let's go home." He said as his fangs retracted.

[wind country academy] “The gorge is in that direction… about 15 kilometers out…” Hatsuma stated outstretching a finger in the general direction of the gorge. “as for our exercise we need to simply learn from one another and develop a battlefield relationship that is effective for a shinobi team… I figure we could catch some desert hare for my elder since he favors them. It’ll also give you insight on my culture to which I could hardly explain with any value…” Hatsuma continued jumping from the topic of the gorge to the task they needed to complete in a fluid unbroken moment. “As nice as it is up here we need to get started now…” Hatuma hopped from the gates as she spoke these words and landed with little more then a quiet thump onto the sandy surface of the desert. Not all of the desert was sand; there were some areas of wasteland within it as well however the target that Hatsuma picked wasn’t in those locations on average so it would be better to search where they tended to be most often; burrowing in the sand. Kneeling down Hatsuma scooped the sand into a palm and let the warm granules slide free through her fingers as she looked across the desert while she waited for Oasis to follow her down. The desert hair was a tricky creature to hunt since it’s fur matched the sands color well and it tended to burrow too making it’s naturally swift movements difficult to deal with if it got into it’s burrow.

[wind country academy]
Oasis stood in the sand and looked out into the vast horizon. It was warm as always, and the sand felt nice under her bare feet. "Hare is tasty." she states offhandedly as she followed lightly behind Hatsuma, she paused for a moment and closed her eyes, a gentle wind blew by throwing some sand as it always would. She held her hands loosely at her side as she swayed from one side to to the other. How would they find that rabbit out here in the sand? She saw her father catch one on a few occasions using some of his overly complex devices and traps. She knelt lightly and held her hands out over the sand. Maybe, just maybe she could feel it. Oasis knew she could feel water in the ground, and she could find nearly any large body of water. So perhaps she would be able to sense out the water in living things."I'm going to try something." she states to Hatsuma as she held her eyes closed and dipped low in her stance kneeling to the sand she tipped her head to the side as if listening to the wind. A few silent moments passed before her eyes blinked open a light blue color visible in a ring around the amber of her eyes. "I... feel something in that direction. It doesn't feel like there's enough water in it for it to be very big..." she states as she peered at the spot that she was sensing it was far enough off that she couldn't see it. "Should we go and see?" she questions quietly.

Mist Academy
Sennyo walked through those hallowed gates for the first time. He had to admit that he was a little disappointed. This place had not really lived up to the hype. After all, as one of the least known actual ninja academies in this universe, Sennyo was expecting something grander or, at the very least, much more secretive. It looked so plain and ordinary. It was an ordinary building with an ordinary playground with ordinary dummies with ordinary writing on them. The children even seemed ordinary. They were all dressed relatively uniformly. In fact, it almost seemed as though they were dressed in uniform. This could not be the right place. He looked up at the sign. Haversham Academy for the Remarkably Ordinary. Damn it. He walked out of those supposedly hallowed gates. He now had serious doubts on just how hallowed those gates were. In fact, he was pretty certain that they were not even sacred. At most, they were not even awe-inducing. He walked further down the road until he came to a sign. The sign looked commonplace enough. In fact, if you were not looking than you might have missed it. The sign read 'Hello, New Academy student. You are going to be put through a test of sorts. Your first task in this test is to find the next sign. You may notice a small set of directions below this writing assuming it has not been covered by grafiti. If it has, well then you are pretty fu------" That part was covered by grafiti, but fortunately, the rest of the sign was not. "--ne Fonda's haircut. Ok so, on to the list of actual directions. First you must find the blue building. In this building is a ninja. He is wearing a distinct metal headband to symbolize the Mist Village. He will point you to the next set of instructions. Sennyo walked along the road in a direction that seemed to be indicated. He was, however, disappointed because, after going into many blue buildings (three of which were private residences) Sennyo was no closer to actually finding the ninja Academy. He walked along until he came to an obscenely blue building. Good Spirits, this thing was blue, and it just radiated blue if such a thing was actually possible, but hell, it's Naruto. In this friggin universe, it is theoretically possible to imitate nuculear devastation using modelling clay and sign language. So, hell with logic and reason, this building is radiating blue, damn it! And when I say radiating blue, I mean it has a blue neon sign. Oh, bet you didn't think I could use logic in that did you? I'll bet if you are actually reading this, you will find this quite amusing, but no doubt my scintiallting wit will be lost to the annals of the internet. Cest la vie. For those of you who don't know, Cest la vie is French and pronounced 'Say La Vee'. It means 'such is life' or more commonly 'That's life'. I am using it in this sentence in order to explain that my scintillating wit being lost to the catalogue of bullshit posts is a rather commonplace occurence especially in Gaia. I do hope that I get a shout out from anyone who actually reads this, but more than likely I'll get chided for writing a rather lengthy section that is completely irrelevent to the storyline in a blatant attempt to get lines for the simple reason that I am tired, and I really hate when I have writer's block. I cannot (currently) come up with interesting challenges for Sennyo to go through so I came up with this bullshit scavenger hunt that turns....well, you'll read about it later. However, good God, 100 lines. What were the mods thinking? I have to grind out 100 lines when I am by myself. Oh well, cest la vie. Hey, there's that French again. Anyway, back at the plot, Sennyo stared for a long time at the bright blue brilliance of that building. Ha! Alliteration is fun! Good heavens, my mind is certainly wandering today. I seriously am having a hard time focusing on this RP. Considering it will no doubt be left untouched and most likely unread, i seriously doubt that my inane ramblings will amount to any friggin consequence that I will regret. Oh well, anyway, Sennyo walked over to the building, and he looked around. Inside this building, it appeared to be no more than a hip clothing store. Some of the trendier people were shopping and purchasing things, but it looked like no more than that. He walked through, observing the people and trying to pick out one that would have a headband. None of them seemed to, but he walked on and.....you know what. I simply can write this no more. My mind is nowhere near random enough for this currently. Sennyo found this sign that he followed to be a rather elaborate prank thought up by some of the more senior members of the school. After the last sign, there was a picture. It had three older looking youngins on it. Sennyo thought that he would pay them a visit in order to get his point across that this kind of crap was not funny. Sennyo did a backflip off of the roof that he would have ended up on if I could have finished the story which honestly involved Sennyo getting pimpslapped by an uptight French maid. Yea, let that one boil in your imaginations and see what dirtly places it will go from something that would have actually been relatively innocent. He noticed, according to his senses, that there was someone with a great deal more chakra in the throng of people that were realing around him. He walked up to him. The man gave him a once over. Sennyo had to admit that his appearance was slightly odd. His short height often led people to believe that he was a child which he was not. In truth, Sennyo is 19 years of age. He also dresses completely in rainbows excpet for his bodysuit which is a deep non-faded black. I swear, I would just like to see a black in Naruto that does not look like it has been through the wash like 8 million times. Seeriously, was Cheer 2 not invented in this universe? They are telling me that they can create water dragons by posing their hands, and they cannot find a really deep black? Anyway, rambling again. Sorry, my apologies. The man looked at Sennyo before smiling and asking him a question
"So, my well dressed friend, what may I ask do you find so interesting about me" The 'well dressed friend' part was obviously a sarcastic and borderline childish response to the fact that Sennyo was covered head to toe in rainbows except for his legs which were covered by his bodysuit which was a deep black. Sennyo smiled brightly, and he talked rather loudly and highly as though he were a child. It was a rather odd thing of Sennyo to get so perturbed when people mistook him as someone much younger, but he acted the part so well.
"The first thing that interests me is that you are a ninja. The second thing that interests me is that your strength of chakra would suggest you graduated the Academy. The third thing that interests me is that you would know where the Academy is. Apart from that, you are a relatively insignificant person." Sennyo remained bright and cheery even during that little quip in the end. My goodness, isn't funny to watch a child just go off on someone and actually have something relatively amusing? 62 Sennyo put his arms behind his back and began to sway front to back as though he were the most innocent thing on this planet. He actually kept his rather bright tone not because he was in a bright and chipper mood, but he usually sounded bright even when he was mad. In his Village, it was almost impossible to take his fits of rage seriously. It always came out as a really happy lecture. The ninja, however, did appreciate the humor in this, as he began to Ell Oh Ell. Yuk yuk, text speak being placed in this. Sad, I know, but there was actually a pretty recent thing in which a person petitioned a College English Department to let her use text speak in essays. I figure if it is good enough for a college English Department, it is good enough for Gaia. Scary thing about that is that person almost won, but the Dean stepped in and disallowed it, so points for Academia. Anyway, despite the fact that this will not be the last side rant that is put in this horrendous grind, I must draw your attention back to teh plot. The ninja caught his breath and patted Sennyo on the back.
"You got some balls boy, I'll give you that. Yea, Academy? Well, you are on the wrong side of town...." Rather than give geographical directions that would be a complete waste of my time as I do not know the layout of the Hidden Mist, I will simply leave it to your imaginations to assume that (off screen) Sennyo is given directions to the Hidden Mist Academy and makes it there obviously way after the bell rang. He walked into the classroom that he assumed was his and was greeted with a rather stern Chuunin and a group of snickering wannabe genin.
"Looks like a rainbow got lost. Hey, fruit, take a wrong turn?" The Chuunin silenced him, but the boys continued their rather annoying snickering and could not be silenced by stern glances from the teacher who immediately made his way to the roll call. He checked off the box labelled for Sennyo and made his way to his seat. He passed the snickering boys. This was simply too much to go unpunished. He swung his fist at the closest boy. Considering the arrogant young brat was secure in the knowledge that Sennyo would quietly take it with a teacher present, he was caught off guard. His head was forced back and a small spatter of blood from his nose hit the desk behind him. The occupant let out a squeal before jumping back. The boy sitting next to him was about to fly to his friend's aide; however, before he could, Sennyo had placed one hand on the desk for balance and heaved his body upward and over planting a kick on the side of the boy's head. The boy went toppling onto the front of the row immediately behind him. Sennyo landed in a crouching position on the desk before standing up. The final boy grabbed his legs and was apparently going to attempt to throw Sennyo off balance; however, Sennyo wrenched his one leg free and planted a donkey kick into the boy's face. Sennyo jumped down only to be grabbed from behind and held in a submission pose by the teacher who was none too pleased with this turn of events. Sennyo attempted to struggle, but it was not like he could just rip out a Chuunin's vital organs with no pretext or real reason. He simply stood there, but the Chuunin had been gripping him rather hard, and Sennyo finally relaxed. He was about to escort Sennyo out before Sennyo said something.
"Listen, I am a ninja of the Hidden Mist. These gentlemen played a rather juvenile prank on me and, despite me falling for it, I could not ignore such a sleight which interfered with my own education. The reason i could not ignore it was because my furthered education is important to me so that I may better protect the Mist Village. I think it only fair that they got what they deserved, as no real punishment would have come to them, but they need negative consequences in order to instill the idea that the people that they ******** with are their teammates and brothers in arms. This type of childish bull must be left behind. I also believe that this is rather lax if I was able to beat three students with a sneak attack and it took a Chuunin to subdue me." The Chuunin smiled and laughed before releasing Sennyo and pointing him to where the graduation office was so that the proper paperwork could be filed to let him out into the world as a Genin of the Hidden Mist.

|| Leaf Village/Konohagakure Academy || Aya lay on the deck of her house as she stared at the sky from where she was, Aya signed as she watched the clouds float by above her looking like large marshmallows or candy floss, this cause her to remember the first time she ever saw the sky while outside, it was so huge compared to what she had seen before from the research facility windows, from time to time, it seemed so amazing to her as she looked at it like that for the first time.
Laying back Aya smiled a little then looked over a little her 'mother', who looked at him with a smile. "Aya what are you doing, weren't you meant to go do some training in the Dojo with you father today". The woman said moving and sitting on the deck with Aya, placing a plate down between them, on the plate was some water melon wedges, Aya smiled a little taking one of them looking at her 'mother'. "Yeah I am meant to be there, but while I was getting ready here to go, I looked at the sky and began to relax, I'll head over soon, its only been ten or so minutes". Aya said sitting up and smiling a little, as she began to eat the water melon she had, her 'mother' joining her a little after that.
"Alright then, take the lunch box I made for you two, it on the table with your alright, it hard to believe you've been out of the academy for almost a years now, an haven't done much in terms of missions, seeing as you're still doing some basic training, it's alright I guess, but you must be getting restless". The woman said to Aya as she look at her, then smiled a little an pet Aya on the head lightly, Aya looked at the her 'mother' and smiled a little at her. "It's alright, I kind of enjoy not doing mission at the moment, I get to relax and take my time doing thing, the fighting training is a little hard but it's kind of fun spending time with father". Aya said with a bright smile as she got up, she gave her 'mother' a hug happily, before heading inside to get the lunch box, an heading off to the Hyuuga clan main branches Dojo.
Aya signs a little as she put on her shoes, before calling out to say goodbye to her 'mother', and heading to to begin her training with her 'father', Aya knew that the two people she called mother and father weren't her biological parents, but they had raised her for the past seven to eight years so they were the only real bond she had the related to parents, the only other thing she had that was similar was the woman the used to hold her when she was really young, it was the oldest memory she had to her knowledge. In the memory a woman held Aya close to her chest, close enough to let Aya hear the woman heart beat, the woman would hum a song lightly most of the time, but from time to time the woman would sing the song, it was from a long time ago and Aya didn't have a clear image of everything or even the woman, but she remember her eyes, her glowing pale violet eyes that seemed so sad, now that Aya thought about it, and the song when she sang it, it was also a rather sad song when she thought about its worlds and melody.
Aya looked up and notice that she had reached the Dojo, while she was thinking on things, she looked around a little on edge now, her 'father' had a habit of appearing out of no where, this was mainly there to get Aya used to being surprised, so she can keep thinking clearly while panicked a little, her father had been involved in the last ninja war, and knew the danger of being panicked while in battle, so he had gone out of his way, to condition Aya so she wouldn't ether, as Aya looked around she relaxed a little after a while, only for her 'father' to appear and place his hands on her shoulders, an speak up. "Your late Aya, you were slacking off weren't you". Aya yelped as she was surprised by her 'father', and turned to look at him a little upset, she knew he was going to do it but it still got to her a little, but she nodded to him and then held up the lunch box. "Yeah I was staring at the clouds, and 'mother' make some lunch for later so that is good". Aya said with a smile.
Her father move past her and opened the Dojo's doors, he then looked back and gave a small nod to Aya as they went in, Aya following after her father, most of the time the main branches Dojo was empty, so most of the time it was only Aya and her 'father' here, most of the time he spend teaching her how to use Taijutsu and practical jutsu, he showed her a few basics after a few month and she had settled a little into life in the Hyuuga complex, Aya got weird looks when she first got put into the Hyuuga clan.
The first thing he cover was how to use the Byakugan and a little on the Hyuuga clans place within the Leaf village, covering thing like how they normally were Taijutsu users, and were part of scouting or spying missions normally, but could full most any role, medical Hyuuga had been seen from time to time and were rather good thanks to the ability to see into people, an combat was all a option, he also showed Aya the basic form of the "Gentle fist" form of Taijutsu.
After covering the basics of the Hyuuga main skill, he told Aya not to use the Byakugan unless they were doing training that needed it for it, this was mainly to make sure Aya was able to use her other senses as well, but it was also partly because the main clan upper level didn't want to train her to use the Byakugan fully this was the reason why she was able to learn some of the more advanced "Gentle Fist" attacks, this of course was blamed on her not being in the clan and her entering the academy.
It was at this point that Aya enter the ninja academy itself, once in the academy Aya was able to make some new friend and catch up with some of her follow research subject who were now living in the village, Aya rather enjoyed the academy and going there, she didn't get all the weird looks she did in the Hyuuga complex, it was a extremely fun few years in which Aya did a lot of training. While in the academy, Aya learned how to throw Shuriken and Kunai, and even learn more on chakra and training to control it, she had learned a little so she could use the Byakugan.
As her time in the academy went on, Aya like all students learned of the history of the Leaf village and how it was founded it former Hokages, and a little on what type of people they were, Aya didn't actually care that much about the Hokages or the classes on the past great leaders. In terms of things Aya did enjoy going to the academy, but it wasn't for the training it was more to be near people of the village outside of the clan she was now in, she did focus on her study's because her 'mother' would held her with homework, and her 'father' would help her with the more physical part of things, this was a wonderful time for Aya, and she enjoyed it a lot.
Toward the end of her academy stay, it had been three years sense she started at the academy, and now a few weeks before the exam to see if the ninja were ready to leave the academy, the final exam was on Ninjutsu, Aya choose to learn the "Clone" jutsu for her display Ninjutsu on the exam. To learn the jutsu itself she went to her Kunochi class teacher to help her learn it, it took a few days to learn the jutsu fully, this was mainly to her learning not only illusion clones but how to form real ones as well, which took a little more effort then the other ones, her teacher also showed her a new step to avoid attack if used properly. Training for these was first for Aya to build up her chakra levels so she was able to use to jutsu, meaning a lot of running for stamina and a lot of meditating on the jutsu, and using chakra to walk up tree and wall, and even further training which lead to her learning to walk on water, before even trying the seals that form the clone jutsu.
Finally the day of the exam came, first off was a written exam on what there had covered during the class, some history question, but the test was mostly technique question on how to preform task, some just being how to throw a Kunai an so on, some on what would be the best course of action in a scenario, once the time time was over, the ninja to be were to wait in a line before being called into the room next door for the practical part of the exam. Aya was in the middle area of the roll for the exam, many of her classmates had gone into the testing room, and walked out after a few minutes with massive smiles on there face and a skip in they step, others had gone in, and came out of the testing room head hung low and a depressed expression on they face.
Before long it was Aya's turn in the room, she took a deep breath and made her way to the door, and stepped though it to the other side, once in the room she looked around there were three people at a table at one end of the large room and some of the teachers around the room two, a man form the table spoke up. "Please stand on the 'x' over there, from the results of the written exam you have passed, Aya, you only need to pass this potion and you will receive you graduate form the academy". The man said with a stern voice as he look over at her, Aya had moved right to the 'x' that had been marked on the floor, she had been waiting and training for her now all she had to do was wait for them to till her what to do next, the woman on the end of the table spoke next. "Aya, for this part of the exam we would like to see you hang from the ceiling only using your feet, once you are standing wait five seconds, then preform a Ninjutsu of your choosing, and finish by throw three Kunai at the target boards around the room, you well gain a number of points for each task, if those point total more then 60 you will pass". Aya nodded as the woman finish, the other man sitting in the middle of the table then looked up and spoke. "You will gain between one and ten points from each of us at this table, if you do not reach the needed amount, you can continue on to another stage of testing, now begin".
Aya nodded again and begin on the first task, it wasn't that hard she had practice a lot on, the skill used to cling to things using parts of your body, Aya went over to the wall and gather herself and climbed up the wall and then onto the ceiling, she then let her hands free from the ceiling and walk back to where she was, over the 'x', looking towards them remaining in place even after the five second count was over, the man on the edge held up a sign with a seven on it, the man in the middle held a eight, and finally the woman had a eight as well.
"I will now preform the Clone jutsu, if that is alright". Aya said in a soft voice as she gathered herself a little, a little unsure on herself, she collect the chakra she would need for the jutsu and then began hand seals slowly, once done three clones of herself appeared, one next to her and another two on the ground, one clone on the ground was real while the other two were illusions, the man on the edge held up a score of six on it, the man in the middle held a seven, and finally the woman had a seven as well. Aya moved on her clones preparing to throw kunai as well, the illusion targeted the same target as the real one on the floor, while the illusion on the ground targeted the same one as Aya herself, after throwing the Kunai Aya released her clones and fell to the floor, landing on the 'x', Aya's Kunai hadn't manage to reach the targets fully, one had hit the target and fallen out, another had hit the wall next to a target and the last one had manage to stay on the target but it was three band away from the center. The judge looked around and then showed her scores, the men had given her a 4 each and the woman a 5, this meant had only gotten 56 points so far and needed 4 on the question to pass.
Aya Hyuuga, you have gained 56 point so far, do you wish to go on an face the last trail?, or do you want to leave now and try this test again later once you have learned more?, just to warn you, none have passed the next part of the exam. The man in the middle said as he looked at Aya, the woman then spoke up. "The ones who have passed today did so because of they skill in this first part, the next task will at times go well beyond the ability you have now". Aya thought about what they had said and wondered if she should go on, if she fails outright she might let down the people who had helped her, but they would still be there for her, but if she passed her 'parents' would be happy, with that in mind Aya nodded to herself and looked at them with a smile. "I'll go on".
The man at the end laughed a little and smiled at her, holding up a thumbs up, then spoke up in a jolly tone compare to what her had before. "Then you pass, whether or not someone can move on knowing the next part will be hard or not is something important to have, and you have that, Aya". To say Aya was confused was a bit of a understatement, the judges got up and walked over to her was did the teachers, who congratulation her, and then her Kunochi studies teacher smiled and took out a blue banded headband an handed it to her, then patted Aya on the head. "Aya you passed because even though being told that at time what came next would be beyond your ability, you went on, because now that you are a genin at time you will face challenges that will past you ability, and at time you will need the courage to move on and face them".
After a little bit Aya went on, and joined the other who had passed that day, in a total of 30 odd students only 10 had pasted and become Genins, once the students had been briefed on what was going to happen, Aya was informed that she wouldn't be place into a ninja team for a little bit, because there weren't enough members to make up another team, she was ok with this because it meant she would be able to relax a little unlike the other who seemed a little stressed to Aya. Aya smiled happily and run out of the class once they were released, and meet up with her parents who had come to the academy because it was graduation day, they praised her for passing and becoming a Genin, an told her that she would be doing training for the next year or so, seeing as she had it off anyways, she signed a little but agreed as they walked home.
Aya after a while got used to going and training with her father, and doing things around the house with her mother, she also gained a lot of free time which gave her time to have fun and enjoy herself a little bit, she would meet up with some of the other who had become Genin at the same time, but had gone on to join a team, she would hear about the fun things they would do as missions, and Aya wanted that too after a while, before long it became clear to Aya that she wanted to move on, and it was nearing that time, in a few times Aya’s time off would end and she would have to become active in the village itself, which she was looking forward to. During her time off Aya had be able to think on the style of ninja she wanted to become, she had chosen a very normal role for a Hyuuga in that she wanted to learn sensor jutsu and become a ninja in that field one day, an so Aya learned about that style of ninja and how she would reach it one day.
Aya looked up and over at her ‘father’ as he prepared for training today, Aya looked at herself and pulled on her shirt into place so it would restrict her an pilled her pant up to do the same, Aya looked to her ‘father’ an bowed to him when he bowed to her, this was what training with her ‘father’ had come too over the year sparring, Aya knew her father held back and by a lot, they rarely use the Byakugan, of Gentle Fist attacks. "Aya are you ready?". "Yes I am, are you?”. Aya replied right back, her ‘father’ laughed a little , as she got into the basic stance for the clan styles of fighting, her ‘father’ also taking the stances, it was tense as things began, in the moments before ether began the assault.
Aya was the first to move taking a step in, rushing her ‘father’, she opened with a rush at him using her right hand to perform a open palm strike, followed by a second using her left hand, her ‘father’ move his left arm deflecting her opening strike away from himself an moving her second strike enough for it to miss him. Aya feeling her momentum moving she readied herself and gripped the floor with right foot as hard as she could, and used it as a pivot point for her change in direction, moving her knee up and aiming for his stomach this time, this time her ‘father’ moving forward into her knee, and shifted his weight around and brought his right hand around himself, and pushed on Aya’s side, and forcing her over onto the ground, using her own placement to throw her down, before she was able to recover, he pushed down with his left arm and forced her into the ground a little, after a moment of trying to free herself, Aya gave and asked to be let up. "I give, please let me up". Her ‘father’ released her and smiled a little helping her up, and then pats her on the head. ”That was a nice start Aya but you still need some work on your basics, your not planting yourself fast enough, ok then let do some more work on you footwork today then”. He said cheerfully as she move back into place waiting for her to do the same, Aya signed and wished to look at the clouds again, as she took her stance again for another round. || - Lines 163 - ||

[Wind Country Academy] “I need to hand you something and I’m going to set up a base of operations we can work from, these hares are pretty tricky to catch even if you can spot them, and we need to catch twenty-five, one for each house in my tribe… and of course one of our own if we want to… to do that we need to create a holding area for the ones we’ve caught…” Hatsuma explained as she reached a hand into the shawl and pulled a small corkscrewed object from it. It was sandy in color and had a whole through its entirety. “This is a tool we use to communicate without speaking in my tribe. It also is effective at sedating the hare thanks to their sensitive hearing; we’ll use it for both purposes. The most effective way for catching then is to blow on this for five seconds when you are near it’s den… like so…” Hatsuma put the small thing to her mouth and blew through the hole, as she did the sound came out as a high pitched windy sound she held the note for five seconds and then stopped. “Just like that, it’s simple… here take this thread to snare its feet together as well, it’ll make them easier to bring back to the base camp.” Hatsuma handed a spool of simple white thread to Oasis as well as another of the whistle devices. “When you’ve capture one whistle three times in short bursts with the device and I’ll respond with two. This will give you the direction to head to in order to return to base, which I’ll be moving around, so it’s imperative we communicate properly doing this, I’ll be moving to keep pace with my tribe’s caravan so we need to catch them quickly which is why you will be the one doing it… your senses seem to be suitable for this task so it’s a good allotment for you.” Hatsuma explained calmly pausing to think a moment before speaking again. ‘ and if you come across trouble just blow on that thing as long as you have the breath for it, that is my tribes danger signal even they will come to it so don’t be afraid, the desert is hardly uninhabitable after all.” She finished before turning about. “You go towards that source you’ve spotted I’ll head this way…” Hatsuma explained before she began moving out to begin the preparation of their base camp.

Oasis cocked her head to the side and listened as she looked at the whistle device, it seemed pretty clever, she saw a lot of wind instrument style devices her father had created but she actually had never seen one quite like this one. "Its neat." she coos with a grin as she nodded her head "Makes sense." she states as she thought about the numbers and such, so for catching a rabbit she blew on the whistle for five seconds to stun them? She was thinkinga bout that when Hatsuma gave an example, and Oasis went wide eyed and her head twitched. Sensitive hearing, perhaps not as much so as a rabbit but it seemed she shared something in common with her pray. It wasn't bad, just obnoxious, like fingernails on a chalk board or something of similar caliber. She took the whistle and thread as offered by Hatsuma and nodded her head curiously it would be a fun mission, if not a little difficult because of the number of them that she needed to catch. So she needed twenty five of them, and hopefully she could avoid 'that place' because she really didn't like it. She stowed the string and whistle away in a pouch at her side and lowered her stance digging her feet into the sand slightly she took the sensation of the sands movement and calculated it into her own, as she did with all surfaces. She took a few steps forward and then before darting she looked back to Hatsuma and nodded "Be back soon with some tasty bunnies." she states with a nearly sinister little smirk before she bolted kicking up a plume of sand behind her, yet this only occurred at the initial take off, the rest of her movement barely even disturbed the sand leaving hardly a footprint in the sand. She bounded in the direction she had sensed a small life form earlier. She paused as she neared it, she pulled the string from her pouch and pulled a length out, working a sort of lattice of string between her fingers she closed her hands preparing her hidden 'traps' her eyes scanning quickly the entire area as she lowered her stance and put her hands on the sand. She saw a movement, a light hop, the twitch of an ear. Her target was in her sight, and its distance wasn't that far from her she maneuvered like a cat stalking its prey as she moved in closer to it. Her hands opened revealing the string like a sort of net just above the sand and she jumped landing right within reach of the rabbit. She threw her hands out and in a sweeping motion she spun her hands around the rabbit as it jumped to get away from her and the string being released methodically from each finger at the right time snared the rabbit in a bind that it would not be escaping any time soon. She grinned and reached down picking the struggling hare up she looked it in the eyes and grinned "You gonna taste great." she coos as it squawked and bawled and carried on as rabbits tend to do when being toyed with by a predator. With her other hand Oasis reached down and pulled up the whistle giving three short burst whistles she put the whistle away and perked her ears to listen for the direction she needed to head, wondering if Hatsuma had caught a rabbit herself by now. It was possible, Hatsuma seemed to be a really smart person. However as she was about to head back to Hatsuma her ears twitched she heard something skittering about, perhaps... Yes there wasn't just one rabbit! she spun about using some of the string she stuck the rabbit to her belt and in a matter of seconds she snapped string onto one hand it wasn't going to be as clean as the first but it would work, she launched after it like a cat. She skittered into the sand and spun about landing near the rabbit she jumped again and when it jerked and jumped a different direction she followed and without thinking about it she bent her legs and then like springing off the air itself she changed direction and landed nearly on top of the retreating hare, she dropped her snare hand first and deftly conked it on the head with the other to keep it from struggling and biting her or harming itself. She grinned now holding two rabbits and then listened for the response whistle. Thinking perhaps she missed it she gave another short three, just in case.

[Wind Country Academy] Hatsuma heard the familiar bellowing of the unique wind produced by the device, at this range it sounded like the wind of the country to the untrained ear however there were a number of subtle differences that even Oasis would notice, the whistle bellowed forth again in a succession of three as hatsuma brought the device to her lips and blew two quick bursts on it before finishing the weaving on the bag she had made thanks to her own unique talents attributed by her blood. “So she got two, this is good now she only needs to bring them back… catching more then that without a bag is difficult since even tied up they tend to be quite clever…” Hatsuma commented to herself as she shoulder the bag and moved onwards pausing a moment as she spotted a hare moving about ahead on her path… silently and without mercy she whipped a thin thread from the tips of her fingers and flicked it delicately and mercilessly around the legs of the hare mid jump. Her quota would be less then that off Oasis since she would be carrying them as well. As hatsuma reached the hare she knelt by the creature and placed a hand on it calming it a bit as she stroke it, as it struggled less Hatsuma’s finger’s delicately went around the creature’s neck and with a swift grasping twisting motion a tiny cracking noise was heard and then silence and stillness from there hare was all that remained. “I thank you hare, for the sustenance you will bring to my people…” Hatsuma stated solemnly as she picked that carcass from the sands and placed it into the large silken bag she had delicately fashioned in the short time the two had been apart. Fastening the bag she stood once more realizing she had probably given oasis the impression of live capturing. “She’ll know it needs to be done I’m sure…” Hatsuma stated bluntly as she awaited Oasis’ first delivery. The sands were warm this night that meant the hare would be easier to catch then normal as they’d be venturing forth to cool off in the evening air which was already cooling to the skin.

Oasis looked up into the sky and closed her eyes, picking out the sound of the response whistle and its direction, she turned and faced it before opening her eyes and running off in that direction. As per Oasis style she did most things all or nothing. She ran full tilt to Hatsuma's Location only stopping once she got there. She held the unconscious rabbit out in front of her and plucked the, now quite tied up one from her side. "Two." she states with a grin. "... were they supposed to be live catch?" she questions looking at the unconscious one, which she was sure was still just unconscious, maybe... She touched it's chest and felt a light rhythm, yep still alive. She knew all to well that hunting meant killing, but a lot of hunters she had learned from used live capture methods, 'it was better for the meat that way' they said. "I see you got one." she states pointing at the dead rabbit, which didn't answer her question, once they were caught and brought to base they would be killed so they would be able to be prepped, though since it seemed quite dead it made her figure that Hatsuma's group must be nearby or else she would likely have opted to not kill it so as to keep it fresh as long as possible. She nodded a few times, deciding it was a good observation. "ya know... I will just catch'em alive, an you will do to them what you gotta do." she states with a broad grin before she put the two rabbits down where Hatsuma could deal with them. "Gonna get me some more." she states before turning around and bolting away from that area.
in a few moments Oasis had made her way away from Hatsuma and into a calm quiet place in the desert. She lowered her stance as before and then closed her eyes. She could feel the rhythm of the air around her and the shifting sands, but it was the movement of water she was looking for. She narrowed her field of sense and pushed on that odd water sensing ability she had, it dulled her sense of hearing as the whistling of the wind became a muddle rumble and she could hear her blood more clearly than the wind, a gentle 'woosh, woosh' sound as it coursed with the beating of her heart. In that state she opened her eyes and heard a faster rhythm, that would have belonged to a small animal with a high pulse, but as she listened she found it to be not just one. She turned her head and her eyes picked out her target. It was a pair of rabbits coming out of a sizeable den. She didn't know much about rabbits, but perhaps there was more in that hole than just the two, though if they were only little babies then they weren't worth capture, at least not for eating. when captured young they were better for rearing and breeding your own food. She thought about the best way to approach her quarry. She could use the same technique she had last time, it was effective. however... She put her hands together and thought about it as she watched the rabbits move. She nodded her head as an idea came to her, the rabbits until startled moved relatively slow, just short bursts of speed, little, predictable hops. With one hand she metered their movement before pulling the string from her side, a pounce attack, just run and scoop that would be the technique. She draped loose loops of string into her hands forming something similar to the first rabbit. She then approached once again like a desert cat. Quickly narrowing the distance between herself and the rabbits. Then at the last moment she opened her hands and dropped the string down from between her fingers to the right length before taking off at maximum speed while maintaining as much quiet as possible, she was a few steps away when as she counted on the rabbits took note of her and turned to run, as they did she took advantage of the extended gait and slung the string down from her hands casting her snare down from her open hands and allowing the rabbits own rapid movement to tie itself up. After a few moments of struggling she lifted her hands and held two bound up rabbits. "Viola." she coos as she held the rabbits up like tangled puppets. Oasis switched the rabbit from her right hand and held it in her left with the other as she pulled out the whistle and gave it a three burst as instructed before turning and moving slowly in Hatsuma's last known direction, she would save full speed for when Hatsuma responded.

Leaf Village/Konohagakure Academy As the day was breaking over the village hidden in leaves, a slight wind blew though it's streets. Makoto was already up and moving and the wind had given him a slight chill up his back. It was the start of his day and he needed to eat something before going to the academy. He looked around the streets and it was like it always was, nothing good on the streets so it would be up to him to go out and get it himself. He sighed as he knew that there would be a long time of training ahead of him, but then again he'd been doing this for almost seven years now, ever since those events happened. As he walked through town, he thought of what he'd go and try to get for breakfast. He knew how he'd get it, but in the end it was going to be what-ever he found first. He didn't live far from the village but it was far enough that it was always a pain in the rear. It was about a seven minute walk in which he had to take some back alleys to get to the lower area's. Once at the wall, it was a simple run and vault over to get into the thick of the woods. With that, he was now outside of the villages embrace and outside without notice for his own needs. It was a relatively quiet day in the forest, nothing new and he knew where to find something because it was were he got his last kill and also where he left his own creation. With plan in mind, he took of as quickly and silently as possible. Once about half way there, instead of dodging tree's he jumped up and started to bound off the tree branches. It took about forty five minutes to get to his spot but he knew it'd be worth his while. Looking around, he ended up realizing where he was. It just happened to be the same tree he had hid his most prized item. Climbing the tree slowly, he reached up and into a hidden hollow branch. Inside were a home-made bow with only two arrows left. With a slight sigh, Makoto looked at the wooden arrows he had carved. Only one was in good flying condition so he snapped the other one since it wouldn't fly straight even if it wanted to. As he got his equipment ready, luck found his way as a large hare came out from no-where and just sat still munching on something. He grinned under his cloth and raised the bow to his face in his outstreched left arm. With the arrow noched in and bow readied, he reached forward, grab the string and pulled it back. There was a slight creek in something. It didn't sound good so before anything else happened he released the string so that he might have something to eat. About 2 hours later, he was sitting at a ramen shop and looking around. His bow snapped when he took that last shot, and so did his last arrow... but he ended up getting that rabbit after all. " Is it done yet?" Makoto asked as he placed his arms on the bar. " Give me two more seconds already..." Someone replied from the back. " Why? I did all the work, I just don't have time to make a fire..." With those comments the person who responded came out from the back and shoved the plate infront of him. " There... happy?" He stated sarcasically as the cook went back to his grill. After the meal Makoto made his way to the academy and looked around. He hadn't missed anything so he was all good. He looked around and paused for a second. It was getting close for him to leave the accademy soon yet he still need to work on a few minor points that he noticed in his training. It was about that time though when a proctor came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. " Looks like you desided to join class after all hm?" He'd stated as Makoto turned to face him. " Ya... my meal desided to also end up destroying the last of my home-made equipment so I have nothing left." He replied while still thinking of what he should work on next. " You must realize what you need to work on... You have a gift not from this village that must be utilized and you are the only one who can do so" " You're right... Fine... I'll do this once but I want you're help on somthing else alright? I need to work on something else other then that." " Fine... but show me that you can use this technique faster then you have... eventually you will be able to use it and set it to your needs." With all of the conversation over and done with, he closed his eyes and started to focus his chakra on the air around himself. He could feel it slowly get thicker and thicker until he was almost getting drenched by the air. It was at this moment, he created a pulse of his chakra in which all the moisture quickly gathered into pannels which froze once enough moisture gathered. He opened his eyes as they were now Ice blue, which normally signified what he was doing. He lept backwards and disappeared into the Ice behind him and visions of himself were instantly reflected onto each pannel. The pannels started to move and quickly surrounded the proctor. " Yes yes... you've made your point... Now tell me, what would you like to work on?" " Well all you've ever focused on is that stupid damn ability, nothing else... it's about time I learnt something else..." There was a pause for a moment and then the proctor nodded. " Fine then.... I got the thing for you... Keep your mind clear..." Makoto's eyes started to narrow with a glare towards his teacher. Just then he started to get a headache. He looked to the ground for a second and then glared back at his proctor. " Like I said... clear your mind and you will do just fine. Now attack me" He was puzzled but could notice that his sences weren't all there... He stood there trying to do what his sensei had told him yet he couldn't get everything back. " Attack me or I'll attack you" Even though he wanted to, it wasn't worth waisting the energy to attack somone he couldn't hit in his current state. " Good... first part was to not attack if you know the odds are against you, but this you have no choice in." And at that moment, the proctor lept forward and started to attack Makoto with a few light punches. Makoto's reflexes were a little slower then what he'd normally have without the headache and distration. He tried to follow the movements but it failed as when he tried to move he ended getting hit with the third punch and was knocked to the floor. Once on the ground, Makoto got up as quickly as possible and looked around. It was then he felt a punch to the gut and dropped to his knee's. He looked up and saw that there was no-one there, which ment that it wasn't over yet. Makoto paused for a second and then rolled forward and looked behind him. What he saw was his proctor standing there with a grin. " See... clear your head... and you'll be fine." He stated as he looked around. "Well it looks like everyone's getting together for the test so we'd best join them." With that the proctor took off and headed for were all of the students were gathering. He kept still for a moment and the headache and blurryness left him soon after. Once it was all gone, he stood up and followed in his teacher's steps. {54 lines}

While all the students were gathering around, Makoto just slowly wandered to the back of the group. The proctors were speaking but just infront of him a few students were whispering about. He closed his eyes and shook his head until there was some information that caught his intrest. "So... did you hear? They failed two thirds of the first class this year." On boy whispered over to his two friends "Really? But the teachers chose all those students above all else... and only ten passed..." The only female of the group responded. The look on the three of thier faces was in shock, and fright. Makoto had a hunch on what they were thinking. They were scared to fail. Not only because twently of the top students this year failed, but because this class was the fourth group chosen so they figured that they were almost surely going to fail. Makoto just shook his head, and this was brought to the attention of the third person who had been silent thus far. "Hey... what are you shaking your head about? you were the last one chosen in this group you know... right?" he said as the group turned and faced him. There was a slight pause then Makoto gave them a quick look over. "I'm shaking my head at people who are worried without all of the facts. So what if they were the very top of this years class... all that means is that they had the most to loose out of the deal. So far, I have the least to loose since they choose me last. I believe you three were chosen around the same time but you never know how that will pan out in this exam. All you can do is do your best and just don't worry about what others think." There was a slight pause, as they all looked at eachother then at Makoto. "You know that's the most I've ever heard you say to anyone... period." The female stated as both the other two boys nodded. Makoto just shrugged his shoulders and looked forward as one proctor stood up and looked like he was ready to speak.
"Alright, so we shall now commence the final exam of the year for this class. In order to graduate, you need at least 70 percent or better. Every class has been assigned different exams so there will be nothing the same as the last exams. The proctor whom was standing stated. "We shall start in the order the we have chosen you in this class. So those not testing yet, get ready and we'll take the first student now." With all of that said and done, Makoto knelt down and started to streach his inner thigh muscles. The three of the students that spoke to him earlier were looking more and more nervous as student after student took the exam and ether had their headband or hung their heads. There was even so far as one girl walked away crying because of how she felt about the exam.
Eventually it became his turn for the exam. He stood up since during everyone else's exams he had desided to lay and rest, and made his way to the testing area. Once there, he noticed three judges sitting behind a table and he stood infront of the table, awaiting the oders for his exam. "Ah... Makoto. Is it your turn so soon? well lets get started then. As you know, you need to get a grade of 70 percent or better in this exam to become a full fleaged shinobi of the hidden leaf village and all of the Fire Country. My first question is are you sure you are ready for this? If not, please leave now and only return when you are ready." As he stood there, a slight gust of wind picked up and then shortly died off. There wasn't any movement and the proctors all nodded when they figured that he was going to be saying here for the exam. "Alright then. Makoto, First thing is first... your first test of two is this..." Right when the words stopped, a puff of smoke came out and there were exact copies of the proctors standing around him. "Task... neutralize them even though out-numbered."
The clones didn't even hesitate as they all set out to strike at him at once. From where Makoto was standing, he suddenly took a few steps back and planted himself. In the heat of the sudden strikes, he realized that they weren't as strong as the actuall proctors but they had real weapons so they were no joke. He knew what he had to do since he was out numbered, out equiped, and out matched. It was time to pull out his only way to win this. At that moment, his eyes started to change from a normal dark green to a completely glossed ice blue. The air around everyone was getting thick and out of everything happening, the clones were grinning. At that moment all of the clones threw a throwing weapon at him in a spread so he couldn't dodge it flattly like he normally would have tried. Instead, as the kuni's and shurikens came towards him, the one ice pannel formed behind him and he fell backwards into it. As soon as the weapons hit the ice, it shattered, but the shards didn't just fall... All of the shards grew into full sized pannels and surrounded both real and non-real proctors. In every pannel, there was the image of Makoto. He was smiling and holding all the weapons that were thrown at him. In a flash, black blurrs came from all of the pannels and once they stopped, the two proctors that'd been silent the whole time poofed and their clones dissapeared. "Very well, now time to add your second part of the exam into this part" The proctor stated as his clone disappeared as well and so did the real ones too. "Now... you must hunt for your passing mark. Find me and you pass, don't and you fail for this year." This was very unexpected from Makoto's point of veiw. He looked around in the mirror's and couldn't see anything. There was no point in being in the ice so he stepped out and de-activated the jutsu. Using ever sense he had, Makoto tried to figure out where they'd gone... it was flustering and just completely annoying. A hide-and-seek task? he was getting more and more upset as seconds passed by that he found himself quickly kicking a chair. Then without warning, the chair poofed in white smoke. Once it cleared the other male proctor was laying on the ground holding his groin. Makoto's eyes went wide, then narrow. 'That's what happened... they all changed themselves into something when they disappeared.... sneaky. This way they can keep an eye on my if I give up...' He thought to himself as he went back into the battlefield and looked around. There were three different types of weapons in the ground. normal kuni's, double bladed kuni's and shurikens. He grabbed them all and started to throw them at all of the furnature that was still around. But nothing happened. He had two kuni's left and continued to ponder where the other two could be. That's when it hit him. It was cruel but it would have to work. As fast as he could. Makoto rushed over the the proctor in pain and held a kuni to his throat as tight as he could, the other one aimed for his gut. "Alright sensei.... come out, and no-one gets hurt. I know you never wanted anyone to get hurt so before that happens lets end this..." He waited for a bit and then looked at the proctor he was holding at knife point. He wasn't moving... the blades were too close to his skin and a main vein to try and disarm him so he stayed still. It was at that point though there was another poof of smoke. Infront of him now stood the female proctor. She looked at the other proctor and held her hands at her shoulder hight. She must have been a med nin as she should have tried to supprise him into letting this proctor go. Then it hit him! Makoto let go of the knifes quickly and rolled backwards. It was like he'd thought. The second proctor was a destration for the final one to try and capture him. It was lucky but when Makoto rolled, he ended up taking one of the proctors legs out from under-neath him and made him fall into the other male proctor. By the time he tried to get up, he alread was being stood on by Makoto. "By the stars... ~sigh~ you are a lucky one Makoto, but that's not enough. How ever, you were clear-headed and did find out that we never told you the whole details and addapted to the situations we put you in. So for that, I hear by appoint you as a genin of the hidden leaf village. I will say though... you're an underdog, train more and harder and you'll end up fine... now get off of us..." With that, Makoto not only got off of them, but also helped both of them up. "Sorry about that kick and holding you up by your own kuni's... I just had to pass though..." The proctor nodded and walked off, and same with the female proctor. The last proctor just smiled and walked off with the other two and knew that Makoto knew what would happen from here on out.

While still mending the damage done to his arms, Koji began to feel slightly more comfortable with the current state of his body, although with the unrelenting fog hanging over the ground it would be next to impossible for him to feel one hundred percent safe, that is unless he attempted to maintain his Byakugan yet again. With a slight sigh Koji began to lessen his technique, causing the electricity which was radiating from his hands to subside with a slight crackle, leaving his arms nearly perfectly mended, with just a slight red line across his arm where the kunai struck him which would probably only heal in time or at the hands of a more experienced medic nin. "Hmph looks like Aizen will be a bit useful to me after all, I guess I should probably treat him a it better." Koji said to himself now beginning to stand, letting his hands slip into his pockets as he walked forward over towards the machine that attacked him in order to examine his own handy work.
Upon a close inspection, of the entry mark, it was clear that his attack still needed some work, but for the most part it was perfect. Koji then flipped the machine, or rather pile of scrap metal over to see what the back looked like, and once it was flipped there was nothing but a blasted open backside, and whatever components where at work on the inside of the machine where either burnt to ashes or charred black by the heat of the lightning that rang through the machines body briefly before it exited through the other end. "Well I suppose that I should be all finished up with my exam now, and I should probably lug this thing back to the other two so that I have proof that I passed.", and with that Koji used the gaping hole in the machines back to give him something to grab on to. With a slight effort Koji lifted the body up from the ground and dragged it along the ground until he began to make out the outlines of his instructor and Aizen, who also appeared to be slightly winded, probably having had worn himself out from his personal test.
"So I did it, if you want to inspect my work you can, but I don't appreciate this damn thing trying to kill me in the process." Koji said with a nasty tone, throwing the machines body down on the ground, face down so that the backside was clearly visible in its destroyed state resulting from his lightning attack, which was to be considered well above his current level mostly due to the fact that it nearly drained him in the process of using it.

Through the hollowed halls of the small laboratory the familiar sounds of beakers cracking against metal and liquids spilling from container to container filled the air. It was a dimmly lit room full of shelves decked out in colorful containers filled with gases and liquids of various shades and consistencies. It was all far too familiar of a scene for the obsessive man in the beaked robes. Standing in front of a table mixing green and yellow liquids inside a bottle with a glass thermometer was one of the thousands of steps to follow before reaching human perfection. "Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen..." these words echoed through the stone halls from the scrambled and electronic voice that Cain had accustomed himself to. "These atoms make up a majority of our atmosphere... these are one of their... limitations." The voice was ominous, as troubling and deep breathed as the voice of a mechanical demon. Cain stretched out his hand pulling forth one final corked beaker that seemed to contain nothing. "If I can simply remove the need... these oxygenal needs... they may move one step closer." From within the still stone room the sound of a deep brass chime rang forth from the halls. The beak of the man raised in the air allowing his gaze to stare forth at the textured walls. "Another... formality." With a flowing slow pace the Doctor rested his beaker back on its holster and wrung his gloved hands. It was a habit of muscle familiarity not even one the man could feel. Years within this suit, years of only the numbing sensation of cloth had helped to distance him from the confines of human sensations. A constant vale separated him from the rest of the planet, separated him from what it was he sought to improve. A carpenter does not feel he is a house, a warrior does not believe he is a blade, and so a Doctor should never mistake himself for a human.
Now with the echoing chime of the grand clock within the study Cain found his studies once more cut short. "These systems... are impressively trivial." With his waxed gloves clutched around the brass knob of his cane the Doctor was swift with his exit. The glass eyes of the beaked Cain stared ever forward while the thick robe whipped and cracked in the soft wind. The view of the subjects around him were of no concern to the Doctor, within his mind formulas mixed with organic transmutations. It was an ever ending experiment to push not only humanity but all organic life beyond the newest limitation it had encountered. Within the new mixture there is potential for ocular manipulation. The abilities these shinobi possess only helps my study of the eyes. I must find one of them to study. With this evolutionary technique maybe more than just vision can be improved... The Doctor for weeks now had been experimenting with the anatomy of the Hyuuga Clan's Byakugan but without a proper sample he could never test his newest concoction. It had proven useful against the eyes of normal beings but when a person may better an advanced article why fool around with the prototype?
Within the proper passing of time the Doctor rested his pace at the front of the rather large building he had been assigned to. It seemed for proper government funding the Doctor would be required to be registered as an official medic of the Hidden Sound. The study of chakra manipulation to aid in medical discoveries was something he had already become quite familiar with. The door creaked open allowing the estranged tall being to enter the academy. Upon entering a woman behind a small desk looked to him rather shocked. "Um... may I help you?" Her voice was shuttering ever so slightly as she stared at the masked figure. A waxed glove reached to the side of the wooden beak and with two casual turning knobs a chilling smooth voice rang out with a volume of perfect proportion, "I am here to study the ways of the shinobi and to become a registered Medic. I will help myself." The woman had not seen this man in the past but she was not the only person to work the rather long and uneventful job. A casual stride followed the conversation as the robed figure quickly vanished from the woman's sight. Today will mark my eleventh study within these arts. I should be finished before long. The class had been as uneventful and uninformative as each previous one had been. The professor well aware of the Doctor's talents and unsure of the motives of the discomforting being led him to rarely call on him for anything less than an explanation or a demonstration. Today the Doctor rested within his usual seat without company watching the rather nervous professor from the glass lenses.
As the room sifted through to near silence despite the teacher's rambling to the younger and less informed students something managed to distract the good Doctor. The faint sound of music filled his ears. He had not heard a sound so clearly sense the day he donned his mask. The hood and mask had helped greatly to dim his senses and remove him from the irritating sensitive aspects of his own physical form. As the melodic series of sounds grew louder his glass gaze fell to the other students and the Professor, not a soul moved, none paused. It was as if not a soul could hear the strangely loud and fluid symphony that decorated the Doctor's thoughts. Never in his life had he heard music of such perfection and beauty. Each note played with the precision and passion of a master. The Doctor could not remove his focus from this over whelming presence. The Doctor rose from his seat with a silent scoot and without a word removed himself from the room. It seemed no matter where he ventured from the room the music did not stutter. The constant volume confused the Doctor but as he ventured forth the symphonic melody quickly lead him a path he did not expect. He emerged from the academy looking slowly side to side examining the people around hoping to see the source of these entrancing notes. Not a soul could be seen possessing any sort of instrument. Music was something Cain was completely unfamiliar with and to hear such a masterful display was nearly dazzling. Visual beauty was an aspect of the world and humanity that was beyond any form of evolution, the very perception and purpose placed behind art was something that no matter how the body functioned man would find within themselves. Art could not evolve, art was one of man's few perfections. Where... where is it...?

[Wind Country Academy] “Good, this is a fair pace, we should be done quickly… keep working.” Hatsuma stated before Oasis asked about the live capturing issue and then explained her own solution shortly after. “This is fine it’ll divide the workload a bit better since I’ll be catching them a slower pace then you… good luck in your endeavors.” Hatsuma stated taking a hold of the two that Oasis had caught and quickly snuffed their candles out in a similar manner to the one she had captured herself. Oasis had went outwards once more and Hatsuma stuck the hare into the bag she had fashioned before getting a move on. The caravan had already started moving again so Hatsuma started trekking again as well making an impressive clip as she traversed the shifting sand beneath her feet . They would be getting close to the gorge soon, someplace the rabbits wouldn’t be near, this meant Oasis wouldn’t enter the area by mistake if she stayed focused on the task at hand. Thinking back to the day she had first entered the gorge with her tribe she recalled the creature that had lived there in the near past… “You are mine little morsal!” the shadowed beast said as it’s lightning fast appendage struck the flat of young Hatsuma’s large blade sending her reeling back along the gorge’s path and impressive distance. The other shinobi with Hatsuma were already on the move though the beast was focused on Hatsuma for some reason as he swiftly deflected the attacks of the trained hunters with ease sending them smashing into the gorge’s walls beside the beast as it barreled forward it’s scaled hide now visible as the sunlight from the surface touched upon it. Young Hatsuma readied herself as the creature approached showing no signs of fear or weakness to the massive beast. “Girl know you not fear?! It’s no fun if you aren’t crying for your life! You won’t taste as good!” the beast bellowed out as it struck at Hatsuma again while simultaneously deflecting the hunter’s attacks from behind. Hatsuma flattened to the ground to evade under the swipe of the glinting clawed arm before bringing a small dagger up into the creatures scaled flesh. The blade was narrow and pierced between the solid scales with ease. The weapons were being deflected because they were to large to get in between the creature armored adaptation. The beast roared as Hatsuma twisted the blade to lock it within the scales the large sword now at her feet as she was lifted into the air. She drew three more small daggers and began to crawl along the beast as it flung about wildly trying to free itself of the little parasite that had stabbed it successfully. “You little wretched thing get off me I’ll crush you!!” it bellowed out as it began to slam it’s body into the gorge’s walls intensifying it’s attempts to free itself from the annoying little Hatsuma. In one quick slam Hatsuma was smacked into a wall with a bone crushing force her little hands releasing the daggers she had clung to for dear life. Falling to the ground with a thud the beast laughed though only for a moment before something appeared before Hatsuma’s fading vision. A person in white who also had four arms like herself, though no one else she knew had that feature. The long red hair that escaped it’s head in a ponytail glowed like a fire as it leaped into action just as Hatsuma’s sight faded and her consciousness went away. The beast’s screams of agony were the last memories of the event that Hatsuma had…The three bursts of the whistle brought Hatsuma back to reality and she shortly responded pausing in her trek to await Oasis’ return with more desert hare. Hatsuma had no luck in spotting more but that was because she was close to the gorge again. She often wondered who the person was who came to her aid however the other shinobi that were there that day claimed Hatsuma was the one who had slain the beast. Though the impact she had taken should have been her end she somehow survived and had been successful on her first hunt. That day she was recognized as an elite hunter though she didn’t recall how the beast was slain. Whatever it was that aided her she thanked it silently ever since though the fame that came along with it was greatly unwanted. The only person to not change after the event seemed to be the elder himself saying only that the hunt was a difficult one and that he was thankful that no one was killed.
