Faiza shrugged. If Anila felt she needed to be sleeping wherever Faiza was, that was her choice. It wasn't like she wasn't perfectly used to sleeping alone on the ground; it was the story of her life. She paced away from the tree they were at, picking on a little farther from the water. Here the grass grew much taller away from the constant tramping of other animals coming from a drink. This tree was also a tad bit wider at the trunk. It seemed like pretty good spot for the night, she'd look for something more permanent tomorrow.

Anila followed Faiza and curled up in the higher grass. She was asleep almost as soon as she made sure the BCR was tucked safely away so nothing could get at it. Anila would have thought that she was too tired to dream; sadly this was not the case. Slowly Anila found herself standing before two adult vixens in her dream. It took her only a moment to figure out that they were her and Marcus’s children. The look in her daughters’ eyes scared her. They were full of hatred and mistrust. She tried to speak and couldn’t. All she heard was a spiteful voice singing out. You held us back, you didn’t let us go. How could you? And you think you’re fit to be a mother. You’re nothing but a failure. A pathetic failure. Anila whimpered in her sleep.

Faiza laid down and fell asleep quite quickly. Though she was quick to slip into unconsciousness she was also a light sleeper. The quiet sound of Anila's whimper woke her. She watched the Phim's face as she slept; there was a frown there, and she seemed to be twitched in ways that didn't look condusive to a pleasant dream.
Faiza sighed softly. She wasn't really sure what to do in a situation like this. She knew enough about nightmares though, and hated to see anyone in such distress in a place that should have been an escape. Quietly, in a sound no louder than a breeze ruffling the grass, Faiza began to hum a song. She didn't know any traditional ones, everything she sang was of her own design. The song she hummed now had the restful quality of a lullaby.
((Do we want to call this one done?))

Anila nightmare continued but somewhere off in the distance she heard soft slow song. The angry children in her dream began to fade as Faiza’s words from the day began to pace in her mind. They will not blame you, but they may pester you to take them flying. Their father is normal and Phim children in such a union are rare. They will not blame you.. The dream began to crack and shattered. Anila found herself in another dream where she was playing with her kits and Marcus was close by smiling. Everything felt right and good. Anila’s whimpering and twitching stopped to be replaced by a smile. When Anila woke that day she found herself armed to deal with what would lay ahead.
(sound like a good enough ending? Anila and Faiza are friendlyish. Anila can handle things and Faiza has another Phim friend that isn't going to mock her.)
