Faiza followed Morin, looking at the way he was almost hanging his head for a moment and hearing the sigh. "You seem....troubled," she tentitively offered, turning her eyes away from the back of his head to look out over the desert so she could better compose herself. In her own odd way she was asking if Morin was alright.

Morin closed his eyes and cleared his mind. If he was always that emotional he couldn’t do his job and that would be bad. When he reopened them he focused on the world in front of him. “Just a little bit I suppose, but then aren’t we all” he stated folding his wings back and having them rest at his side. “Comes with age I suppose” he joked knowing relatively even if he was an adult he wasn’t that old. Modiphims and modifoxes lived for a long time being able to see their grandchildren, great grandchildren and even more generations pass them by. Normally they died from another predator or modifox or even humans thinking they would be interesting trophies.

"Yes, but your troubles seem more-," Faiza stopped, not really sure what to say. It was horribly conceited to think she was the cause of his troubled him. After all she'd offered to let him go on his way if that was what he wanted. But she still felt like she was somehow involved in this.
She just didn't know how to ask. She was so used to keeping everything about herself private that she didn't know how to learn about others. It always felt invasive to her to even ask simple questions sometimes. Faiza agreed with Morin, everyone had their troubles even if they didn't let it show. So why did she want to know what was troubling Morin?

“More?” he said with a questioning tone but it was light as to drop the subject. He lifted up a paw to blow on it briefly. As of late he had been spending most of his time flying and the calluses on his feet had declined a bit. It didn’t help that the sun had heated up the sand. Oh well it was just a dull ache compared to other pain and he could whether it out until his feet finally adjusted. Gold eyes swept the desert again before he continued walking. This time of year was sand storm season and it wouldn’t do to get caught in the middle of one. They could last for hours or days and with no shelter. Ugh Morin didn’t want to even think about it.

"More....related to me," Faiza said, voice a little hesitant. Half of her wanted to take the words back, but she was glad she had said them. She continued at her relaxed pace, red eyes flashing curiously to the back of Morin's head before looking back over the desert again.

"More....to do with me," Faiza said, tone a little hesitant. Part of her wished she could take back the words, but on the whole she was glad to have gotten it out. Her bright red eyes flashed curiously to the back of Morin's head, and then went back to staring out at the desert.

He was brought out of his thoughts about sand storms and the evils they produced by the tone in her voice. He turned back to look at her before slightly moving his head towards the scenery in front of them.“A bit yes,” He said cryptically with a smile on his face. However the smile was warm and neutral. It was short lived as the wind picked up all of a sudden and blew sand straight into his face. However ever much the desert wanted to ambush him it still wasn’t enough to let his guard drop on the tumbleweed that he could have swore appeared out of no where. With a well placed swat he changed its direction away from him.

Faiza watched Morin when he turned to give her that mysterious grin and then swatted at the tumbleweed that ambushed him. Her eyes sparkled a little in amusement. In a lot of ways Morin reminded her of a kit in how silly and secretive he could be. It was endearing rather than childish, for she could always see that serious side of him that lurked underneath the teasing. The tiniest of chuckles escaped her lips, and she turned her gaze back to the desert.

The wind worried him a little bit because Sand storms often came on unexpectedly. However he noticed shamans could tell, at least Kaname had always been able to sense the weather and he often wondered if he should have stayed as a shaman instead of becoming a scout. Oh well hindsight was 20/20 and there was faiza chuckling at him again. Well he supposed there could be worse things. It was about then he realized he had dropped his search for trying to figure out where he had seen her before and almost laughed realizing he probably didnt care anymore after all it was during some dreaming reincarnation of when they where fish

Faiza peered at Morin, sensing his lighter mood. She also noticed how he seemed to be looking for something. "Weather got you worried," she asked, peering up at the sky. Desert weather wasn't her speciality, but she'd traveled to enough places to know that changes for the worse usually came on quickly.

"a bit yes. There is no real shelter and we're in the middle of the sand storm season. There are of course ways to survive one but moving is impossible and no one really knows when a sand storm is going to hit" Morin explained. "they hit when ever they want with out much warning. however the wind is starting to pick up and that worries me" he explained. The plains where still a couple of hours away and even then he would have to fly back. Normal storms were easy and wouldn't be a problem. Sand storms flying was out of the question as well you could easily damage your wings and even though Amali was a good shaman she had other duties than taking care of the tribe's one phim.

Faiza turned her face in the direction if the wind. Her earring and hair fluttered behind her, and sand was started to drift. Irritating. She sighed. "I can run, if you want to get somewhere faster. I don't know how you do with running, but unless you do it often you probably won't be able to keep up." She picked her pace up the tiniest bit. "You could fly in this if you had to?" If Faiza had to run it might be better if the other Phim was in the air; when she hit her stride her hair stood out straight behind her, she was moving so fast.

Morin stepped a bit away from Faiza and opened his wings testing them on the wind currents. One gust of wind sent him back a bit and he lightly worried his lip thinking about the wind currents. They were warm and ideal if he wanted to go the other way. He imagined the wind could go a different way the higher in the air he was but that would be a stroke of luck and everyone knew Morin had bad luck. he could reduce the time to the plains by about an hour but with this wind. He looked over at Faiza and imagined what the sand would do to her wings cleaning them would be a nightmare and would add on even more weight. "yes I can fly in this" he half lied however his tone of voice was natural and still composed.

Faiza nodded. "If you think you can lead, then I can keep up. Do not worry if I seem to be falling behind, it is only natural flying is faster than running. For the distance we need to cover, I will manage. If you do not think you can make it you need only point in the proper direction, and I will manage. I would risk the lives of others for a selfish whim of my own." Faiza certainly didn't want Morin harmed just because she insisted on running the shorter and more direct route.
