Kanjo's natural intelligence seemed to be kicking in pretty late. He guess it was because he had stopped to concentrate. The book had been getting very interesting. It seemed that things that peeked Kanjo's interest didn't even graze other's interest. He supposed it was a good thing, though. Easier to learn seemingly difficult topics. The book began to speak about how element affinities are.



He thought about all of the information for a moment. It seemed that, even though some were considered to be more powerful than others, they still had their weaknesses. Also, they were balanced, where no one element was over powered. Eager to learn what his element was, he closed the book and got up. Kanjo was very satisfied with himself that he read it before academy, so that he could already be ahead of some of the students. After he put the book back on it's shelf, he walked up to the librarian, saying a hearty, "Thank you." and walked out.

So the search continued for books pertaining to chakra. It currently seemed that Ten'nyo was in the fiction section as she had just passed several books that were blatantly fictitious in title however she did stop to check out one book's description as the title intrigued her. Make-Out Paradise read the title, Ten'nyo had never heard the term "make out" before so she was curious to see what it was about. After reading the back cover she thought, Who would buy this trash, let alone write it? After putting Make-Out Paradise back on the shelf she continued her search for books about chakra. Ten'nyo smiled as she found the first of many books with titles sounding like they were what she was looking for. Things like, The Nature of Chakra, Chakra and the Body, The Chakra Network, and Chakra Fundamentals. Carrying several of the books in her arms Ten'nyo began to search for a table that she could sit down at.

Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, the chakra can then be manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire or creating illusions. she finished reading as the introduction came to an end. It was a lot of information to process at all once even though it was incredibly simplified. Now the girl could see why her mom had wanted her to come here study. It was obvious to the girl that she was going to need to take notes. With that in mind she reached into her bag and took out a note book. Okay so we've got the chakra circulatory system which pumps chakra throughout the body...

With her notes all sent Ten'nyo went back to reading. By moulding different ratios of the two energies, new types of chakra can be formed. Most ninja have a natural affinity to one type of chakra, but they have the capacity to create elemental chakra apart from their own affinity. There are five basic types, each stronger and weaker to another, but their relations, weaknesses, and strengths to each other are all explored. There is also the dealing of Yin and Yang and the balance of mental and physical energies. she stopped for a moment to catch her breath. Once again only a paragraph or so had passed and she was finding herself to be overwhelmed by the information. To her it was like ten new topics had just been thrown at her and they had yet to even start explaining what she had seen earlier. Presented with his new wave of information she had to switch back over to notebook and enter it into her list.

Ten'nyo took a moment to breath. She was clearly going to need to find an anatomy book later so that she could look op all of these inner body things that had to do with chakra. She had a general idea of what the stuff looked liked but it was still difficult without a picture to look at for her to understand all of it. She then began to read again. This is rarely seen due to the restrictions of certain chakra points (Eight Gates), limiting the amount of chakra an individual can release at a single given time. Chakra can also be visible when doing a specific techniques (such as the Rasengan) which take a high degree of chakra control to perform. Of the many different types of techniques, ninjutsu, genjutsu, dōjutsu, and so on, all require the use of chakra. However, taijutsu is different, usually requiring no chakra use whatsoever; stamina is all that is needed.

After her short bout of procrastination Ten'nyo went back to her reading. Chakra is the resulting form of energy when two other forms of energy are mixed together. The two energies are referred to as "physical energy" and "spiritual energy". Physical energy is collected from the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual energy is derived from the mind's consciousness (i.e. the soul) and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. Having these two energies become more powerful will in-turn make the created chakra more powerful. After finishing that last section her mind began to spin up with intrigue. So then doing something like studying actually helps me to become stronger? I guess there's a bit more use to this learning thing than I thought.

Now she was section two which was named "Chakra Control". Well I certainly this section is a bit more in depth that last one. she thought to herself. Chakra takes time and a great deal of training to gradually build up. Thus, the key is not actually having chakra, but being able to sufficiently control and conserve it. Everyone has chakra, but only skilled ninja can correctly "mold" and "manipulate" it to its fullest extent. Now that was certainly interesting. So it would seem that in this case it's not the size of your chakra but how you use it. Moulding chakra involves the extraction of energies from both the body's cells and the mind's consciousness, then mixing them together within the individual. The amount of each energy will differ based on the type of technique the ninja wishes to execute. In other words, a ninja could create too much or too little chakra for a given technique, resulting in the chakra being used inefficiently. Ten'nyo was quick to take notes on this section as it was clearly important.
