"Erm..." Kazvar cleared his throat roughly, blinking at Mercy's questions before trying to answer them. He'd been surprised at Zeren's interest in Kazvask, but to have a second doing the same...
"He's a blue, they do...and they're light sensitive. The..." he hesitated. "They see the heat. Glows don't bother them as much, but he's still not fond of them." He glanced at Zeren uncertainly again, still trying to fend off Star's nibbles and cuddles. "Wher's aren't supposed to be as friendly as Dragons. They're here to do what dragons can't..."
He added to Zeren: "Maybe. But I'd still like her to let me sleep."

Mercy listened to Kazvar's answers, nodding slightly a she took in the information "It must be nice to be bonded" she said a little wistfully, dragon,wher...even firelizard at this point. She'd yet to manage any such thing..but she had one standing under her belt and with the recent gold flight...the thought made her perk up considerably and she smiled at the rest of the group.
"It's Zeren right?" She asked of the man that had joined them while she was introducing herself and chatting with Kazvar. She vaguely recalled that he'd been on the sands with her and Wykla way back when and she'd seen him around the weyr of course but she didn't think she'd actually spoken with him until now. "I'm Mercy" She introduced herself, just in case he didn't know before etting her gaze roam over the crowd for a few moments before turnign her attention back to the small group, it was a fairly large gathering. "This is all going down so peacefully" She commented "I mean...I'm glad of course, no one want's fighting, but considering the subject I'm just...surprised"

Revel1984 B'nas frowned at Keela "It's said, no one seems concerned, IF they heard it" he muttered to her "Anyway, it's been four turns... at least for me" he switched his tone to change the subject "Milnth informs me your green is due to rise, is it not best to return to our Home Weyr" he asked, "i'm sure Milnth and i could... escort you" he chuckled, his tone full of flirting. If the gren just happened to be ready during the ... escort then Milnth would be first in line to chase. Milnth rumbled amused again "I have no doubts dear Taith, i wont let any near you ... especially any NOT from our Weyr" he promised her, even if Flights were tricky things. "I am certain that you could, brownrider, but for the time being we are quite content to stay here," she replied simply. "I believe she is rather enjoying the atmosphere here." Along with the fact that most of the dragons present from their Weyr were browns and bronzes. That likely pleased the green quite a bit; silly thing. Well then, let's just hope you can make due on that promise then, she replied, a bit amused by the brown's confidence. She would be curious to see just how well he would manage to fly in comparison to the rest... Of course, none of them would get the best of her until they had proved themselves worthy. Then she might just settle for one. Probably.

JetAlmeara Ca'mil nodded, looking sympathetic "I was terribly nervous when I stood on the sands" She admitted to him "But the most important thing to remember is to not show it, keep your head, watch out for the clumsier or ill tempered hatchings and be as confident as you can be" She told him "It should be a fine clutch, The junior Queen is a fine dragon and the Bronze who caught her large and strong" 'It is rather to bad that we'll be back home before any of this occurs' Cheryth remarked in a mournful tone - Cheryth loved hatchings, even if they had chosen to fight rather then clutch. "Cheryth is sad we'll be back home by that time,she's fond of hatchings" Ca'mil told him with a slight chuckle "But I'm sure you'll have many people here cheering you on" "I...I v-very much appreciate the help!" He said with a slight bend at the waist unsure if he should bow in full, was that too much? "I'm sure your r-right, there will be f-fine dragons I'm s-sure, everyone is s-so excited already, m-maybe they will send w-word of how well it goes, th-then you'll only have k-kind of missed it?"
