"Excellent. I'll have that, then," Rue said, holding out her menu.

Seeing that everything seemed to be going smoothly, Hector headed into his office to do some paperwork. He'd rather be observing his establishment, but there was other stuff he had to do. If there were any concerns, the staff could knock and ask to speak with him.

Lilly went to the back room, and a moment later, she came back with the chowder. "Enjoy, ma'am." She smiled as she set down the bowl for her.

Rue ate her soup. It was good. She blew on it absently before taking another sip, her bright eyes roaming around the cafe.

Pulling on his white gloves, Ren pushed open the kitchen's back door with his backside, letting it close slowly and quietly behind him. He gave Beck a sheepish grin before pushing open the partison door to the main room and flashing a confident smile. 'Late again? How could you risk your job like that, you imbecile!' he mentaly scolded himself as he went around the room refilling water glasses, hoping Mr. Williamsfield hadn't noticed him missing.

(( Geez, can't think of anything to post. Alright, now I think I'll just try for anything I can get xP ))
Rue looked up suddenly from a drawing she had begun in her small date book gone sketch book. "Excuse me?" she called out to Ren, hoping he'd assume more water and come over so she could ask him about his opinion on the sketch. She couldn't seem to find a way to add in the loft while still keeping the sink in the kitchen with a nice window view and the standard number of light sockets placed without compromising the location of the public bathroom.

Without missing a beat, Ren was at Rue's table. Maintain the perfect distance. Close, but not too close as to appear overly familiar. Lean over to project interest, but do not hover. "Oui, madamoiselle? How may I help you?" he asked as he poured her barely touched water glass back to full.

Rue opened her mouth to speak then closed it again when she realized she wasn't exactly sure how to word it correctly. "This picture here," she pointed to the small, rather messy drawing on the table, "Do you see any way to move this -the bathroom- so that it's near the kitchen and large enough to be comfortable without jutting out?" She gestured to the drawing, wishing she had something better to explain it. Oh well. At the very least, I'll get a blank look and some amusement. At the most she would get some help.

Not at all what he was expecting. But he could at least try. Without asking, he took a seat in the empty chair to Rue's right and turned the picture so that the bottom was closest to him. In silence, he studied it. Then, he took one of the order slips off of his notepad and quickly sketched a rough duplicate.
"You see how it is close to the front door? Well, what if you..."
He erased some and drew a quick line, and erased some more.
"What if you put it here?" he said, sliding the paper to her.
