♫Heidi heard the sound of someone shrieking and she snapped out of her daydream. She looked around and noticed the sound was coming from one of the boy's cabins. She ran as fast as she could in heels before bursting through into the cabin. She saw a boy on his knees and wondered what was going on. She walked over to him and shook him to get his attention. "Dude, calm down! It's ok. Snap out of it!" she said before she kneeled down in front of him. She looked around in the room to see what could've made him freak out so badly. Her eyes spotted a syringe on one's of the beds and could see the orange liquid inside it. She had seen it a couple of times at parties she had gone to, but she never really tried it. Though it seemed a lot of people actually enjoyed it. She wasn't into drugs that much. She just like the drinking. Heidi looked back at boy and continued to try and calm him down.

Her eyes darted from Jake and Nikki, then frowned. "Excuse me!" Casey said hurriedly, and then dashed over to the dark brunette felled beneath the tree. Her slender figure kneeled next to the boy, her brown arched eyebrows knitted together in worry. Her ice blue eyes showed concern and worry, because Casey only knew that he had nightmares whenever he slept. She looked up to see Heidi in slutty clothes, and groaned. She then saw Alec collapsed, and her day just got brighter! Rolling her eyes, she looked back at Nikki, waving a hand urgently toward the boys' cabin. She signaled for Jake to g as well, because someone had to take care of Heidi. She took a deep breath, trying to control her temper that flared red hot inside of her. She turned her attention back to Todd, her ice blue eyes locked on his face. "Todd, what's going on? Are you okay?" Casey asked, her voice tight with worry. Her brown hair fell over her eyes and she quickly pushed it back, and grasped one of Todd's hands in hers. She squeezed it, her eyes still locked on his face. Whatever it was, she'd be here for him.

He was looking at Todd but he followed her gaze to Heidi and heard Casey groan. guess it's time to be a counselor he thought and turned to Heidi, hiding the fact that his years of rehab had gone to waste. "Heidi, you are going to have some hard time walking in that.
Casey instructed APPROPRIATE, not.... that" Shane nodded to her outfit. "I know you intend on pissing off everyone here. BUT like I said when I caught you at the sign. Which by the way, you're going to clean up eventually. You can't piss me off that easily. Now, are you going to change or do you insist on wearing that for our walk thing?" Shane asked. Shane was willing her to not say anything about what he'd done. Noting about drinking again and nothing about kissing her. He ALMOST started begging with his eyes. But hought better of it. ♫Heidi looked up at Shane and stood up, getting in his face. "Are you kidding me? Do you not see this kid? He needs help! And all you're worried about is the way I look?" she shouted as she she made her way to the door. "Fine, I'll change. Just help him out ok." she said as she gave Todd a concerned look. She wondered what had made him snap like that. She remembered the syringe with the orange liquid and thought maybe that had something to do with it. She just sighed and shook her head as she left to her cabin. She ran as fast as she could in her heels before pulling out her suitcase. She rumaged through her clothes before pulling out a normal outfit and her favorite pair of converse. She stormed into the bathroom and changed into the new outfit.
She was now wearing a black and pink monster hoodie along with a pair of blue jeans. Her hair was now in a ponytail and she surprisingly looked normal. She sighed as she fixed her makeup, now only wearing black eyeliner. Heidi hurried out of her cabin and began to head back to where the others were. She was hoping that Todd kid was alright. Even though she acted like she only cared about herself, she could care about others. She cared about any teen here that had problems like her, especially if they were rebellious too. Anyone that joined her in causing trouble or mischief were people she wanted to be close too.
Finding her way back to Todd and the counselors, she looked at Shane and motioned to her outfit. "Is this fine? Or am I still showing too much skin? Should I put on a mask and gloves too?" she asked in her sarcastic tone. She rolled her eyes as she kneeled back down in front of Todd. She looked up at Casey and tried not to be cold for a moment. "Do you think he's ok?" she asked her worriedly. She had to force herself not to be bratty or annoying to Casey at the moment, though that didn't mean she liked her. In fact, Casey was sort of her main target.

His trap shut, and he started to shake, eyes shut tightly. He flinched slightly when he heard a voice- that voice belonging to someone called Heidi. His whole body tensed and he started to shake harder when she touched him. He shrugged away from her- then his nightmare got worse when Casey touched him. He started murmuring things. Things uncomprehendible(sp?).
After a week or so of going without, Todd started to speak in tongues again. He understood perfectly what he was saying- or, atleast, trying to say. But he knew no one else would. And that made him feel better. His soft words turned to screams of despair when he heard a man's voice. Shane's. Although he didn't know that. He sat on his legs, hunched over his thighs, with his hands cupped tightly around his ears. He refused to hear anything else. Nothing. His nails dug harder into his skull as two, finally, understandable words escaped his pale lips. "R-rape... M-m-murder..." ♫Heidi watched Todd has he spoke in tongues and she could tell he was shaking. She looked at Casey before pulling her hand away from him. "Don't touch him and give him some room." she said as politely as she could. She was still in front of Todd, but she didn't touch him. She heard him say rape and then murder as he hunched over and held his hands over his ears. She waited until everything was completely quiet and she began to think of how she could get his attention. She saw his eyes were shut tight and she gently reached out to him. Her hand touched his shoulder as she shook him softly. "Hey, it's ok. Just open your eyes. It'll go away, I promise. Trust me." she said as calmly as she could.
She spotted an open Monster and got up to grab it. She walked back and held the Monster out to him. "Come on, please? Just calm down and open your eyes. You're safe here." she continued to talk calmly as she carefully swirled the energy drink in front of him. She hoped the Monster was enough to get him to at least look at her. Even if he yelled at her for touching it, she wouldn't care because she would've snapped him out of it. Or so she hoped? She knew about kids with rough pasts, but she had never seen something this serious. And she thought her life was completely horrible.

He went quiet, his lips still moving and twitching slightly every now and again, but now no words were uttered. His mind started to slow down and the fuzzy images started to clear. He saw Melinda. She was the only one he could trust- but, wait. She was the one that got rid of him...!! He was about to scream again when he heard a soft voice. It sounded like his mom's from when he was a baby.
Slowly, the brunette began to move his hands away from his ears and open his dark eyes. He saw his Monster being held out to him in a pale hand. His eyes fluttered slightly and he gazed up at the girl. She was pretty, he had to admit. He tenatively reached up and took the Monster from her hand, nodding slightly at her soft, gentle words. He took a sip of the caffinated drink, shivering as it slid into his parched mouth and down his dry throat. He watched Casey and Heidi, eyes open but mouth still shut. ♫Heidi smiled as she watched Todd calm down and then take the Monster from her. She sat down in front of him and gave a sigh of relief. "All better right?" she asked him as she chuckled a bit. She moved a strand of hair out of her face before tucking it behind her ear and looking at back at him. She noticed that he kept his mouth shut and she knew he probably didn't want to talk. She didn't mind though. She was glad he stopped screaming or speaking in tongues. "So you like Monster too? Best energy drink ever." she said with a giggle as she pointed to the monster hoodie she was wearing. Underneath the hoodie, she still had on the neon blue halter top that showed her stomach. To her, she felt like she had still one the battle.
She handed her hand out to Todd, but didn't really care if he shook it or not. "I'm Heidi." she said with a kind smile. Some people thought Heidi was just obnoxius and rude, but she had a soft side. She only showed it to people she thought deserved to see it. And any teen being dragged here against their will definitely deserved her kindness. The counselors however, would have to fight her to even get her to listen to them.

He nodded once again, his eyes trained on her hands. He didn't trust her. Not yet, anyways. There was something about the blonde that made him uneasy. Perhaps it was the scent of slcohol on her breath, or the slutty aura. Either way, he knew they would become friends later. He took another sip of the energy drink. As he did so, his eyes began to flutter closed. He grunted softly and downed a long swig of the caffine.
He flinched slightly when she moved, but blinked. He saw her hand out there. It'd been a while since he had been in close contact with someone. He, hesitantly, met her slender hand in his, giving it one gentle, but firm, shake. He quickly released and went back to holding the Monster with both his hands. "Todd," he replied softly. With all the tension, she really couldnt do anything. Casey looked at Todd, her blue eyes anxious. Since she was his counselor, she was going to be there first and foremost for him. The tall brunette ran a hand through her ponytail, then looked up at Heidi. "Hey, thanks for getting that for him. I really appreciate it. If you woudn't mind, could you please go get Jake? He's tall, brown hair, brown eyes. He's somewhere over there," Casey said, pointing toward the flagpole. She motioned toward the tall brunette twenty one year old doctor. Casey nodded to Heidi, then turned to Todd. She stood and took a step to the side, then knelt. She was kneeling directly in front of him, her eyes level with his. She knew she'd eventually have to break his habit of energy drinks, but now was definitely not the time. She knew though, at once, the counselors would have to get rid of the alcohol. Pushing the thoughts that crowded her mind away, she refocused on Todd.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She felt a tranquil wave roll over her, sudden peace. She wasn't going to question him; that came later. Now, she was only trying to calm him. "Todd, please listen. I want you to know that I'm here for you; and I always will be. Please come to me if you have any other troubles, I don't want anything happening to you. Do you know what made you collapse? Are you hurt?" Casey asked, her face drawn and her brow furrowed. Her ice blue eyes were locked on the brunette's face, her face getting warm. She placed her hands on her thighs, well muscled from running. Casey didn't want to touch him again, because she didn't want him closing up on her. She wanted to establish trust with the boy, not alienate him.

But, in the time Casey spoke, he had plenty of time to finish the rest of his energy drink and toss it aside. He reached over and grabbed a new energy drink, one called a Rooster Booster. It was in one of those smaller containers, just the size for his pocket. At school, Todd had grown up on Rooster Boosters. They were the drug to his addict. They were the one to his only. He popped open the tab and shuddered at the auroma of the highly-caffinated drink's sweet smell filled his nostrils.
He had been just about to take a drink when Casey spoke. Her voice sounded a bit odd. Worried. Concerned. He hadn't heard a genuine voice like that since... never. It made goosebumps rise on his pale skin. He blinked a few times when he addressed him, questioning. He set the drink down beside his knee. "Memories. No," he replied flatly, answering both of her questions in two words. He could easily tell she was restraining to touch him. Give him some sort of gentle gesture. He shrugged it off. ♫Heidi stopped singing as she heard a guy call her a sexy thang. Her hands clenched into fists as she turned around to look at the guy who called out to her. She spotted him and she was caught off guard by his looks. She thought it was going to be some random kid at the camp who was probably one of those jerky jocks like the ones at her high school. Her hand unclenched and she smirked as she put a hand on her hip and used her other hand to wave hi. "Hey there! Is there something I can help you with?" she asked as both hands were on her hips now. She didn't think he was that bad looking, but she had to take her chances too. There were so many hot teens in this camp. If she found one more, she'd probably explode.
It turned out that maybe this summer won't be so bad after all. She'd be surrounded by hot guys and a cute roommate. She could torture her counselor with that dirty little secret of his. And she could even cause as much mischief as she wants. Of course, there would be consequences. But she didn't care. All she wanted was to have a fun summer with her friends, but they took here her against her will. So now she was going to make them pay. She quickly shook off those thoughts as she moved towards Alec. She took her hair out of the ponytail it was in and let it hang down. She ran her fingers through the black and pink streaks before grinning at him.

Casey decided she'd do something about it if Shane didn't, and she knew, she just knew that Heidi was out to get her. But the one thing that she really didn't want was her flask taken away. Casey knew it. But it was standard rules that there be absolutely no drinking or vandalism. So, if Casey took away Heidi's toys, then she'd have nothing to play with except herself and her actually useful mind, though the troubled teen didn't know it. Ignoring Heidi, Casey shoved her thoughts away. Her job was to focus on Todd. And that's exactly what she planned to do. Her eyes barely moving, she signaled for Jake to come over. He did so immediately, but Casey had some time before he walked over. Casey searched the teen's eyes, and all she could see was pain and horrible memories. She grasped the empty Monster can and crushed it, tossing it over Todd's head, a good 150 feet exactly into the recycling bin. The small hole and everything. It was a good thing that Casey was great at basketball!
Casey smiled at Todd, then was caught up by another sound. Wailing, like singing. She was getting overwhelmed. No one was around, and she'd have to fight Heidi neck to neck. And she'd HAVE to win. Taking a deep breath, she put her hands in her pockets and fingered her truck keys. She looked at Todd, her eyes still holding concern. She'd wished that he'd just open up, but that took time. "Todd, I may not know what you're going through, but I can see the pain and the hurt inside of you. You're pushing your past away, and I did the same thing. My mother was a pop singer; she was famous. Very famous. But she married my father to get away from all the publicity, and my family and I tought she did. She released songs, yes, but not as many as she used to. She had a great family. But one night, she was out on a jog with me. I was only thirteen, and she and I were talking and running with my border collie, Tex. He'd alerted us of something, but we didn't pay much attention. Now I really wish I had." Taking a deep breath, Casey could feel grief welling up inside of her. But she had to finish. "Someone dressed in bacl came out of the bushes and recognized my mom. He shoved me away and. . . He raped her. He raped her and then slit her through with a chef's knife. He would have decapitated her if he hadn't remembered me. He went for me next. After witnessing my mother slaughtered, I was fumbling for my phone, but the man crushed it. He attempted to rape me as wel, but Tex. . . He nearly gave his life to save me. I fought to get away, and Tex was okay after awhile, but the trauma of the night still haunts me. My dad was he only one who kept me from doing drugs or all these energy drinks. I didn't sleep for days. When I did, the nightmares came. Every time they got more vivid. I thought of suicide, Todd. I didn't want to die, though. My father got me involved in sports, and now I'm here for those who have had rough times," Casey finished, her voie getting a bit choked. A single tear rolled down the brunette's cheek, but she quickly brushed it away. She took a deep breath, not wanting to show her weakness. She blinked a few times, then flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and pushed her headband up. She looked at Todd, half wanting him to reply with something- anything.
