Amy smiled at his response. He kind of was starting to act like the doctor. "Thanks for your kindness but I don't need to be protected" she said smiling. "Are you having trouble hacking into the system?" she asked both of them. "Let me have a go at it" she said smiling. "But if we can just activate main system and deactivate we wouldn't have to go through all the trouble" she said smiling an idea coming into mind. She glanced at the omni scanner before glancing at how many dots there were. "Okay so if we can find the leader or the leader group of the cybershades then we just have to deactivate the mind chip" she said glancing as she fiddled around with the omni scanner. "They all are linked in a way so if we can find the connection point one has with each other we can either weaken all of them immensely or they could all die" she said thinking while her fingers tapping around with it. John's idea was good but it would be much easier if she could just get the connection broken then they all would be powerless. "Or maybe if they are all connected by a battery" she murmured to herself checking the coordinates.

"Oi! I was using that!" Rose frowned as her omni-scanner was abruptly snatched away. She suddenly realized how incredibly thick she had been.
"Of course!" she exclaimed taking out the Sonic screwdriver and flicking through the settings, "The Emotion chip! All Cybermen have a chip that filters out their emotions. It's usually shielded but if we can use the omni-scanner to hack into their mainframe, we could transmit a sonic frequency that should fry the circuitry and then... well the problem solves itself."

John went into a little depression in the corner since both of the girls did not agree with his idea. And here he thought he was being clever. Poor poor John. He walked around while waiting for the two to finish and opened up the curtain seeing a big blue box. He raised an eyebrow and moved his hand across it. The box was making him feel like he was home.

"My blaster's dead... and I left my Arlith Gun in my duffel bag... Amy, let me see your gun, maybe it's compatible," she caught a glimpse of the Doctor from the corner of her eye and hesitated. She quickly turned to Amy.
"And I thought I told you to keep him away from this part of town!" she snapped in a loud whisper, "He is not immortal and if this doesn't work we're going to have A LOT of explaining to do!"

Amy frowned slightly. She handed the gun to rose. "I tried" she whispered chuckling. "He just literally walked away from me" she whispered smiling. "He's more interested in what's going on with you than me" she whispered back joking around. "You don't think we have a lot of explaining to do already?" she whispered loudly. "I think he probably has no clue what we are talking about right now" she whispered loudly. She saw john touch the blue box. Did he remember? Amy opened the book and saw that the book had more text on the pages than before.

"Amy, this is serious," Rose sighed though she did feel herself blush, "he shouldn't be anywhere near here. If you do know the Doctor then you know we have to keep him safe..."
She waved her hand at the decrepit room they were hiding in.
"This isn't what he had in mind!" she said in a loud whisper she continued fiddling with the gun before finally tossing it aside in disgust. "Daft, primitive design!"
Her brown eyes caught the book in Amy's hands.
"What is that?" she asked curiously.

John tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. He frowned wondering what was inside the box and why a police box would be locked. He looked at the the two who still looked busy.

Amy's eyes looked serious. "I know the doctor... and I don't know how we could keep him safe anymore" she whispered sighing sadly. "He's too tangled in now, and he wants to be near us" she whispered to rose. "He is not going to leave us because he wants to protect us" she whispered. "And how are we going to keep him safe if we have to fight off things that come around?" she asked her thinking everything through. "One time soon, he's going to be by himself and we have to face that" she whispered back to her.
"I don't think the doctor envisioned that john would be put in this situation or that john would want to protect us" she whispered back to her. She smiled thinking of the doctor. She remembered the way he was crazy and at the same time brilliant in his own way. She remembered how he opened the tardis with the snap of his fingers. And she remembered most of all the glint in his eyes whenever they traveled to a new place and had to fix a problem. "Face it, we can't hide reality from him" she said her eyes glancing in the direction of john. "This happens every day.. you and I know that!" she said her voice serious. "We can't hide what happens all the time from him" she said lowly to her.
"Face it, sometime soon he's going to figure it out" she whispered even lower to rose. "The best thing we can do now is make sure he can handle being by himself at times" she whispered frowning slightly. "We're not always going to be here for him you know" she whispered to her. "And I think we should make sure that he can fight in his own way" she whispered to rose. "So we know that any time we can't reach him that he'll be safe" she whispered to rose. She couldn't believe that she was saying this but she knew in her heart that that was what they had to do. She smiled changing her tone of voice to a happier one, she couldn't be serious all the time. How could anyone be serious all the time? "I know that, what do you expect I got it from a planet underground" she whispered joking. "Not the greatest experience, I have to tell" she said chuckling. "But, I'll tell you another time" she said smiling.
Amy forgot that she didn't put the book away and in her mind mentally cursed herself. "It's a journal" she whispered as low as she could to rose. She didn't want to give away too much because when the journal was full it had all of the future in it and even Amy didn't look into the future she just looked into the past.

Rose felt John's eyes on her and she steered away from Amy.
"Hey John, you holding up ok?" she asked him with a soft sort of smile. She glanced at the TARDIS, noting how he'd tried to open it. She leaned against the wall, "I think you need a key for the blue box. Here maybe I can..."
She was interrupted as a metal fist burst through a weak spot in the wood next to her and grabbed her by the throat. Horrible screeching a metallic yowls were heard outside as Rose dropped the Omni-Scanner and grabbed at the hand cutting off her oxygen supply.

Amy was thinking over what she had said until she had heard the omni scanner drop and saw a metal fist clutch rose by her throat. She was just annoyed how these stupid creatures had to ruin everything. She quickly grabbed her gun and shot at the fist in the wall. It burst into a flamed hand on the floor. "you okay?" she asked rose her eyes afraid. The hand that burned into pieces re patched up and started to move on the ground until amy's eyes caught sight of it. She stomped her foot on it several times getting angry until it was mush and not moving. But she still stomped onto it until it didn't resemble even mush anymore.
She glanced at the doctor wondering if he was startled by what had happened.

John was wideyed and was instantly next to Rose helping her up. "We need to get rid of these things or get away from them quick!" he said quickly while pulling something out of his bag. It was water that he gave to Rose. "drink some of this, it will help."

Rose coughed and felt light-headed but at least the fingers crushing her throat were gone...
"That was... incredibly stupid of me..." she rasped as she drank the water John had offered. Outside the Cybershade howled angrily and pawed at the opening in the wood. Down at her feet the severed cybernetic arm twitched.
"'armless..." she stated then laughed a little more hysterically than she would have liked, "...throw it back out. They can still attack when cut off."

John threw it back through the hole and moved a chair in front of the hole.
[god how I wish I could let him use the screwdriver XD]

"Well that's one way to wake up," she said with a shaky smile. She brought out the sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the hole in the wall. It whirred but nothing else happened.
"Oh right... doesn't work on wood," Rose said clearing her throat and setting the Sonic to resonate Cyberware metal. "Here John, if something else pokes their hand in just point and shoot."
She explained tossing him the screwdriver.
"Amy, give me a hand with the blue box..." she said getting a plan in motion.

He took the screwdriver not really knowing what to do with it until she said what to do. Another hand came threw and he pressed the button. It worked just as well as when Rose used it but there was something different. He felt like this screwdriver was apart of him somehow.
