Ovan sighed, "Hell, with all the crazy stuff they did to try to keep us here its a suprise they didnt." He muttered out, "Lets go then..."

Zoje breathed deeply and forced herself to keep walking.
Renn followed behind them. The anti magic didnt affect too much because he didnt use magic as much anymore but it still hurt. He didnt even want to know how much Zoje was hurting.

Ovan barely felt the weakness, but he could feel how much it was hurting Zoje, "Come on, im carrying you." He said, not waiting for an ansewer before putting his arm behind her ankles and lifing her up.

Zoje couldnt help but smile "Thanks, the barrier is kicking my a** "she said leaning her head against his shoulder.
Renn watched them sadly. She obviously loved him. More than she had ever loved him probably.

Ovan nodded, "Dont talk then, just sleep, and when you wake up we'll be home... Then something else will go wrong." He kissed her cheek gently, trying to be as kind as he could.

Zoje smiled and closed her eyes sleepily "Renn," she said quietly "If I dont wake up make sure he stops before the sun sets and sets up some kind of camp."
Renn nodded and stared off at nothing as he walked.

Ovan naturaly said nothing else. He didnt know this man, and he had heard the stories a hundred times over. He was terrable... But he loved Zoje, he could see it. So many questions he wanted to ask... But no, not now... Or.... mabie ever.

Ovan nodded, "Im less than that, im sure. Im just... Glad I wont be here when I die... I dont want to see her so hurt anymore. What can either of us do to make the world safe for everyone while still making her happy? Not a damn thing..." He smiled at the man for the first time, "You gave her a son, and she loves him... I cant match the joy he gives her. I know you are a good man as well."

A few hours later...
REnn stopped and looked around "Well stop here for tonight. No point in going any further. Its will be dark soon." he started walking around, picking up twigs and leaves so that they would have a clear space.

Ovan carefully laid Zoje down onto the ground, kissing her forehead gently before falling onto the ground. He was running out of defences against this magic barrier.
