Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Internally, Saya released a heavy sigh. He's only a short step away from hopeless. She had pulled her own chair out and sat without noticing any glares directed at Tackeron's person. As mentioned, that was an act of chivalry she would not accept from even a real fiance or husband, though it was difficult to imagine what it would be like to actually have one. Acting was simple enough, but the role she was filling seemed to be a distant one. Her not-so-subtle differences from the typical ladies of the time made her less desirable, so the only suitors she had ever come across where brave souls willing to take the plunge for the sake of furthering their positions in society with the Tennyson name and riches. Just looking at her, Saya was not too strange. She was attractive in her own way, though she did not concern herself with such concerns for the most part, and had a sort of wild look in her eyes when she was enjoying herself. But this, alas, could be intimidating as well. The reserved women with good families and healthy manners were sought after, not the outspoken free spirits who preferred imaginative lands over reality.
"Please excuse my husband." The girl offered the waiter a friendly smile. "We've only recently been wed and he is so modest." Saya explained as a cover for Tackeron's awkwardness. "Though it is such a rare trait among gentleman, I find it rather refreshing. Wouldn't you agree?" That was to coax the man into believing that her "husband" was indeed acting normally, only differing in personality but not in any way suspicious. She implanted the idea in his head with little effort, only using the comment as a suggestive statement that would keep the waiter from making any unnecessary comments to his coworkers. The tricks seemed to work well enough, so Saya appeared thoughtful, this expression sincere, unlike her acting. "Water is fine. A weak drink wouldn't hurt, if you have anything like that. And I wouldn't mind some warm soup and crackers." The girl kept her order nice and simple, holding back from filling her stomach to her hearts content for the sake of appearances. Well, she tried to. But the temptation was just too much. "A hearty slab of steak and potatoes would be much appreciate as well." The girl would break the bank with her appetite alone.
When the waiter departed with their order, Saya shot Tackeron a quick warning glance. She would take no comments on her eating habits. "I apologize." She said then, rather unexpectedly, resting her chin in her hand and looking away. "For making you feel so uncomfortable, I mean. Although, you would be completely free of such worries if you hadn't followed me, so maybe it isn't really my fault." Saya resisted the urge to stretch her arms, knowing it would be seen as inappropriate.
"Tackeron, do you know your elemental parent?" She asked, the question just as sudden as her apology. She spoke quietly so they could not be overheard, trying to keep up an expression that disguise the true nature of the conversation. "You are a half-salamander, aren't you? You use fire and are able to transform into a dragon." Saya explained where her thought process and conclusions were coming from. She didn't even know about her origins until she was informed of them at the Academy, so she was curious to now if Tackeron's situation was different and what that was like. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron was surprised by both the apology and the question. He thought about it for a second before he decided to share a bit of his past with her. He sat back in his chair and spoke."Well, mum is an elemental and lives at home with dad but I was sent here mostly because they felt that I would do less damage here during practice. We had to move three times before they decided it was safer for everyone if I learned about my abilities here."He had been quiet in sharing this with Saya since they were in human society."Thanks for the save Saya. I was a little out of it. Although I have no idea what your apologizing for."He didn't consider being embarrassed by someone something wrong although he wasn't completely aware she was doing it on purpose. he crossed his arms in front of his chest as he looked over his shoulder. The waiter came back with the order and he was a bit astounded. Saya sure had an appetite, one to rival his own, he had restrained cause she had already bought him cloths and it wasn't like he had his money on him anyways since it was back in his dorm. He wasn't exactly prepaired for this trip.
Macideus was having trouble as the sun went down and people became scarce. When finally near a clothing shop he read the mind of a store owner who had seen Saya buying cloths. He approached the man intending to ask for further details."Excuse me sir have you seen a young girl in an unusual dress by any chance?""Saw her earlier today. She bought some men's cloths and a cloak. Tried to sell her a decent dress but she insisted on wearing that...whatever it was. Very stubborn not very ladylike." "Did you see which way she went?"The man pointed him in the direction of the forest and Macideus walked down that way and searched out minds to read. The search bore very little fruit. In fact he walked right past the tavern but because of where they were sitting they fell just outside of his range. So he continued on oblivious.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] "I didn't think you were the type to go to the Academy out of consideration." Saya admitted before the food was set down in front of them. She thanked the waiter, waiting until he departed before risking the continuation of the conversation. While people lingered close to the table, she ate in silence. gulping down the glass of wine the waiter had brought her due to her request for a slightly weaker drink. Without anyone to scold her for it, she wanted to be able to enjoy the usually forbidden tonic. The girl sampled the food cautiously at first, but her face lit up when she found her caution was unnecessary. "It's delicious!" She declared, taking a few bites of her steak after finishing her soup and crackers, not wanting this to get too cold. It was a miracle that she could chow down so quickly without crumbs straying from her mouth. The girl cut off a piece of her steak, sticking her fork into it before offering the piece to Tackeron. Whether she intended to feed him or whether she expected him to take the fork from her was unclear. "Try it. Their chef must be a genius." She encouraged them.
Then, as if on a quest to surprise Tackeron as much as possible, Saya picked the former discussion up where they had left off. The wine loosened her tongue, as apparent by the subtle flush across her cheeks, though she wasn't by any means drunk. "I never met my birth father. He is a sylph." The girl revealed. "I have not seen my family since entering this Academy, so I've had no chance to interrogate her. I sometimes wonder that she never thought to tell me, and whether she'll ever share any information on him with me at all. All I can be sure of was that she committed adultery and cheated on my the father that raised me. Somehow realizing that almost made me feel sorry for her. No wonder she was ever cold to me. I'm the living, breathing, undeniable proof of her sin." Saya took a large spoonful of her mashed potatoes, cutting herself off, playing with her food afterward instead of continuing to eat her meal.
"Do you think my birth father knows I even exist?" The girl didn't sound regretful or sad in any way, merely curious. "I wonder if magical creatures can sense that sort of thing." She laughed to herself, realizing how ridiculous that sounded. "Listen to me. That would be such an odd ability to have. Sensing the birth of your kin." Saya looked over at Tackeron, thoughtful again. "To be honest, I'm not sure I want to meet him anyway. He's already been absent for seventeen years. I wouldn't know how to act around him." She shrugged, dismissing the possibility like it was unimportant. "Either way, unless he was willing to train me himself, meeting him would not save me the trouble of fleeing the Academy. If he did, I would still miss my siblings, not to mention the father that raised me and recognized me as his own. I think he suspected I wasn't his. I look nothing like him. I don't have his hair, his eyes, his bone structure, nothing. I must have appeared to be a foreign entity compared to his real children. But that didn't stop him from loving me and caring for me as if I was truly his daughter." Saya smiled, this time sincerely and not as part of her role. "I'm pretty lucky, aren't I?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron took the fork from Saya and bite off the piece of steak to sample it. He chewed it thoughtfully and finally approaved. The meat was good, the man was certainly skilled although Tackeronwasn't really sure on what passed for geniuse cooking in the humn world, certainly not his but he wasn't raised from a well off family that had the joys of having only the beast meat, or similar privelges. He returned the fork to saya and listened to her story, it was no wonder they weren't allowed to drink, she may not be drunk now but he was sure she would regret sharing everything with him after being so tight lipped all the time. However she did seem muchmore willing to talk and in all honesty he wasn't about to interrupt her. He listened intently to Saya's history taking in every ounce she had to say."You are a very lucky girl Saya, and it's good to see you share a smile that isn't fake or mischivous in some way. So then, are you running off to be with your father, the one that raised you I mean, or is it for another reason? Cause in all honesty I find it very hard to believe your dashing home so desperately to be with your mother."He was hoping he would get his question answered despite losing the fight.
Macideus had arrived at the forest but there was nothing to be found there, at least not at first. There was an unusual crunch under his boot near a bush and he looked around to see what it was. He could barely make out the black scale dug into the ground and apon farther inspection discovered a few more and then much to his luck foot prints, human ones. Which meant that saya had bought a suit for tackeron as well since he doubted the boy was dashing about in the nude like a maniac. Well at least Saya wouldn't let him Macideus didn't doubt the idea probably crossed the boy's mind. He traced teh footprints back to the street he had just come from and was back into the city. Sadly people were swiftly dissapearing leaving only those couples going out to dinner, none of whom had seen the girl or boy. he had an image of the suit she had bought having pulled it from the clerks head ealier but sadly it was common enough to be owned by just about anyone and so did not help in any way.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] "Well that's a little harsh." Saya frowned at the impolite comment the young man tacked on to his question, honest or not. "And just because I don't normally smile that way doesn't mean it is impossible for me." She had a point. It was rare, mind you, but not entirely out of the question. "But no, I am not running off for my father's sake. As much as I love him, he is the sort of husband who bows to every wish and command that leaves the mouth of his wife. There is no doubt in my mind that he has already been convinced that the best place for me is the Academy." The girl was almost finished with her meal, gulping down a bit of her water since she had already finished off the glass of wine. She swung the cup of clear liquid in her hand, careful not to let any of the contents spill out over the table. 'And the rest is a secret." Apparently the drink had not made her tongue loose enough. She winked over at Tackeron, as if taunting him with unspoken words: "You got close, alright, but you still won't get an explanation out of me."
Saya wanted badly to stretch her arms, feeling restless. There were no open window in the tavern, seeing as how night had fallen and there would be cool breeze accompanying the darkened world. Her sensitivity to wind was too great, however, and if this went on she would not last through the night without losing her temper. Luckily, a trio of men entered the tavern for a late meal and the open door let in a gust of wind. Saya seemed to relax some after this, able to sit still again. "Did you know the Academy will be holding a ball soon?" The girl glanced over at him, folding her hands in her lap to fall back into her role, a married lady with good posture and proper manners. "You will want to get back in time for the festivities, I think." Realistically, she knew he would not be able to go along with her little adventure for long. "I think tomorrow you should head back to the school. You can tell them I took you hostage. They would certainly buy that, and it would keep you free from excess consequences for your crime." The girl suggested, though it didn't sound like something she would accept arguments against. It was more like an open and shut conversation, orders instead of options. "That is for the best." When their waiter returned briefly to gather the cleaned off dishes, Saya ordered another drink, requesting a stronger one this time as she grew more bold.
"I think I should be permitted some fun." The girl said then, as if explaining her most recent request to the kitchen. Saya got to her feet, excusing herself for show before wandering off to the opposite side of the dining room. There she located a small band of sorts, taking their break for supper. She spoke to them briefly, flashing a smile and offering a few coins before returning to her "husband" and their table. On her way back, the men discarded their plates and glasses, picking up classic instruments and playing a rather upbeat tune on them. "That should lighten things up, don't you think?" Saya was tying her hair up, not taking her seat but standing. She left her bangs lying where they were, as well as a small section of hair on either side of her face to frame it. Instead of putting it into a tight bun, she took her hidden hair tie and pulled it to the side, so her long brown hair fell out her shoulder in a sort of low ponytail. For someone who often left their hair down, she was quick to throw it up into a proper hairdo. Here where she felt no breeze anyway she made the a rare exception and left it somewhat constricted. "There. Now I can dance without it getting in the way." Saya declared, taking a swing on her freshly delivered drink when she was sure no one was looking. Already, couples were rising to their feet to dance, making a large circle so that partners could be exchanged and everyone could join in to one large group. Tables were pushed aside to leave a nice big opening in the center of the room, the music playing loud in the background.
"If you do not mind, I would like to dance." The girl had that playful spark back in her eyes. She extended a hand to Tackeron. "Come now, you can't tell me you are the serious, all work and no play type. I've already seen that isn't true." She tried to coax him into joining her.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron had considered argueing the fact but Saya made it sound so final that to bring it up would just be rude. Instead he returned to the subject of the smile."Come on play fair you know I didn't mean that you never smile."He said matter-of-factly as she ordered another drink. He allowed himself a slight chuckle. As he heard what she ordered, it was a reasonably strong substance he had heard of. When he was home he helped himself to some of his fathers twelve year old scotch which was strong in its own right. Although he abstained drinking in public as it made him...well fiery to say the least. The school did have a ball coming up as saya had mentioned earlier and he would have liked to attend however he felt that sticking with Saya would prove both fun, and maybe even adventurous. The whole duty thing was just an excuse to stick around at this point and the fact that he would stick with her would be made abundantly clear tomorrow. For now he was being offered a dance by the young and reasonably attractive girl. Who was he do deny her? So naturally he stood up and took her hand and lead her out to the dance floor."Of course not. Although I did meet someone like that earlier today. I'll tell you all about him later though."He said just before the dance began. It was fast paced and oddly enough precise.
Macideus had resorted to looking into any building with lights on and stretching his telepathic abilities to their limits. He must have looked strange standing beside an open store seeming to be looking for something on the ground. He was just down the street from the tavern that had just broken out into song and dance.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] The music blared, encouraging those left inside the tavern to let loose and enjoy themselves. Partners were regularly exchanged during the group oriented dance, although it was common to end with the same person you started with. Saya stumbled here and there, her clumsy side coaxed out during a process in which her feet had to move quickly and in precise paths. The girl linked arms with her next partner and then the next, managing to step on no one's feet, fortunately. It felt like she was dancing on the air itself which, technically, she was at one point. Alcohol apparently loosened her grip on her magic. Luckily, no one seemed to notice the young lady floating an inch above the floor. It only lasted a short time as well, leaving no extra opportunity for her odd abilities to be caught by wandering eyes. Saya was thoroughly enjoying herself, caught up in whimsical movements created by the collection of citizens, everyone excited at the prospect of a little fun. Eventually the dance went round full circle and she reached Tackeron again, slipping her arm into his and finishing the dance in a manner slightly different from how it was started.
This time the band needed no incentive to start another song, seeing how well the last was received. A few people approached them with requests as Saya caught her breathe. "That was far better than waltz." She commented, remembering the parties she had been dragged along to in the past and all the frustratingly formal dances they entailed. While dancing was wonderful, she much preferred the more spirited type, where the general goal was to enjoy oneself and not to prance about in a manner that showed of one's skills but did little else. At least that was how Saya's thought process went. "I'm glad I did not crush a poor man's toes. You've no idea how hard it is to recover from that. No amount of apologetic smiles and batting-eyelashes can fix it." She laughed some at the memories this summoned in the back of her mind. If anything, it can been a good way to convince that particular partner not to try dancing with her again. So, maybe some good was accomplished, even if not from her family's perspective.
Saya had ended up somewhere near the door, glancing out the windows into streets lit only by lanterns strung up along the sides of them. A figure seemed to be closing in on the tavern, and she wondered what the mysterious man was up to when she discovered with a start that he was not mysterious at all. While, despite a strong drink, Saya had never been drunk but perhaps just a little bit tipsy, this was enough to snap her out of it. "Tackeron!" She looked over at him, the genuine smile fading back into a frown. It wasn't fair that her time away would end so soon. Sooner or later she knew she would be dragged back to the educational prison, but she hadn't even gotten to visit home for one night.
"Stay here." Saya abruptly ordered the young man. "When Macideus comes inside, he'll find you alone and you can claim your innocence then." The girl narrowed her eyes, as if part of her suspected already that he would not follow this orders. "I mean it. You must stay here. And shield your mind the best you can manage! I don't think our dear professor really wants to punish you anyway." With that, Saya ducked into the crowd that was reforming for another go at a dance, politely turning down invitations thrown her way to join in again as she hurried toward the back door. Music was filling the tavern again by the time she disappeared back into the night, having only wasted time in retrieving her cloak. She wrapped the brown material around her again and pulled the hood up, dashing out of the ominous alleyway and onto a main street a block over from Macideus and the tavern entrance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron wove his way through the dance, a little out of balance and on occasion needing to correct himself during the exchange of partners but all in all he wound up with Saya in the end of the dance and stood proud of himself.""That it is. I think that was quite successful if I do say so myself."However Tackeron's happiness faded away with Saya's smile. The girl was suddenly serious and before he could actually comprehend what she was telling him she began to make her way through the room."Wait what? hang on Saya!"He called out after the girl as she weeved through the crowd. he chased after her only catching the words 'stay here' and 'Macideus'. He had no idea what she meant but since she was so paniced he figured it had something to do with Macideus being near. And sure enough as if arriving right on a cue Macideus stepped into the tavern. He had briefly picked up on Saya's thoughts before she stepped out of his range to warn Tackeron. The boy suddenly felt worried and instanctively ran after Saya. He slipped through the back door as well. Macideus thought he sensed Tackeron and began probing minds and saw glances and more then just glances of both students. Finally he caught the image of tackeron leaving through the back door from a young girl who had asked him to dance but was blatantly ignored."Hold up Saya!"Tackeron yelled out into the alleyway at the figure in the brown cloak. He ran ahead as fast as possible to try and cut her off."Ther is no way your bailing on me now. I said I wouldn't let you get away and I am going to make sure of that. i am coming with you whether you like it or not."An odd demand and probably a foolish one considering he lost the sparring match between them, but he wasn't about to just let her slip away without him.
Macideus made his way through the back door and a satisfied grin came across his face. he didn't announce himself nor even try to approach right away instead he picked up a couple reasonably sized rock, too small to kill someone but large enough to knock them out. He hurled the first one at the back of Tackeron's head and the second only moments later angled towards Saya. His aim had to be near perfect otherwise he would miss since his targets were moving. Both stones whizzed through the air, silent and wonderfully effective. The first found it's mark as signified by the sudden 'thok' and Tackeron collapsing to the ground.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] I might just kill him. It is becoming a distinct possibility. The girl's good mood had been utterly shattered by the horrible timing of her professor. So, already having sunk into her nasty temper, she felt more than willing to show Tackeron what the ending to their fight really should have been, steel edged fan to the skin of his neck and all. A step further promised blood and a cut far deeper than he experienced earlier with her wind blades. And Saya had every right to be angry with him. She told him to stay, so he deliberately followed her. Macideus' abilities were only limited by distance. But Tackeron was more than close enough for his thoughts to be easy game, and the idiot, Saya was sure, did not have the smarts in his head to think to block out his general game place so it could not be read. This was it. Precious time was gone, Macideus had the perfect lead, and to top it all off the half-salamander cut her off and forced her to skid in her tracks. Ground was lost. Saya's mind was racing with the urgency of the situation and all the blame she was quick to assign to the young man in front of her. "Idiot!" The girl shouted into his face, irritated beyond reasonable means and making no effort to hide it. "You may have ruined everything! Get out of my way and go-"
His body dropped. Tackeron faded into unconsciousness before Saya had proper time to react to the glimpse she caught of a stone in flight. The wind whispered warnings gingerly into her ears, vague hints about a shift in the air around them. Something was heading straight for her; everything was happening so quickly, too quickly. The girl turned slightly to locate the source, raising her arm up defensively to block the incoming attack. A grimace crossed over her face when the stone bounced off her skin, leaving a bruise and a nice cut in its place.
And there stood Macideus, pleased with his discovery. No, he couldn't catch her. Not now. Saya would never get a chance like this again, she was sure. Her mentor would have to be assigned immediately. Maybe she would even have to suffer with more than one. Did the Academy allow that? No doubt they would make any exception now, to keep her properly locked away so no one, including herself, could ever hope to free her. Perhaps they would even allow a professor to take on the student-based responsibility. Panic rose quickly in the young lady, quicker than usual given the amount of alcohol she had consumed. This can't be happening. I was so close. If I had made it through the night, I would have been home free. Saya took a few cautious steps back, eyes trained carefully on Macideus as she clutched at her wounded arm. She took care to take a step over Tackeron's limp body, seeing her opportunities to ditch the Academy slimming fast.
"I beg you, leave me be." Well that was unexpected. "Please." Saya's expression was torn between varying emotions: disappointment, frustration, panic, despair, etc. She only wanted to go home. Was that such a bad thing? Couldn't Macideus take Tackeron and be on his way? The girl drew a single fan from her waist, realizing only then that its twin had been left carelessly on Academy grounds. The loss hit her hard, but she ignored it, holding out the sharp yet whimsical weapon in front of her with both hands. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. No words were returned to Saya. Macideus had finished talking about it earlier that day. He could read the panic in her mind although he didn't attribute it to drinking since that portion of her mind was her own and to invade that would be wrong. Immediate thoughts were what he looked at. Those thoughts showed that she was hectic. This was both a good thing and a dangerous thing. It was entirely possible that her true abilities would kick in out of no where and cause countless problems. On the other hand her attacks would all be sloppy and wild. He needed to press the advantage and did so immediatly. The gilr had just finished saying "I beg you, leave me be." when he started moving forward and finished "Please." when he had gone out into a full out run. Macideus reversed the Glave so that the blade was pointed away from Saya. He held the weapon firmly in hand as he charged young Saya. Macideus had no intention of killing the girl of even cutting her for that matter. He kept his mind open searching for her retailiations in her head but more importantly he focused in on his other senses as well to look for signs of unwanted change in the winds."Harmony Saya Tennyson. Stand down."A simple enough statement. It was the only warning she was getting tonight. It was shouted as he charged, a sign that she had until he reached her to say that she would go back. If she failed to do that the fight would begin and there was zero chance of him pulling his punches beyond making his attacks non-leathal. ((Sorry for the wait.))

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Desperation was not a very complex emotion. Saya was learning this quickly. It's simplicity just might be what made it so lethal an emotion. When people panicked due to this, they made bad decisions and did stupid things. Very few people would argue with this point. Right now, the most foolish move the young lady could make was one against the charging professor. If she dropped her weapon, or even left it at her side, she would have the option of walking back with him. No quick blow to leave her unconscious, no extra-rage from the already considerably irritable man. It was, without a doubt, the wisest move. There was no where Saya could run without simply being followed. Her skills in battle were vastly inadequate in comparison, on top of this. She should stand down, as ordered, and accept her punishment like an adult, and with grace. If anything, this might make the consequences just the tiniest bit less sincere.
But she couldn't do it.
Saya could not force herself to cut her losses and throw in the towel, even just this once time. The second this thought ran through her head, wind exploded onto the street. It was different than usual, more wild and powerful. The unique signature of the girl's magic was completely absent, replaced with something new. To sum it all up, this wasn't Saya's doing. But the girl ignored this obvious oddity and sprang forward, swinging out the fan with more concentration than she usually bothered wielding. It was, unlike all her other sloppy movements, a clean cut through the air, aimed right at Macideus. Somehow, she was channeling desperation into something she could use. It was something a hardened warrior would be able to do instinctively. However, Saya was no hardened warrior, and it could not last forever.
"Harmony, stop this. You are acting like a child."
The voice seemed to be carried by the very wind that raged around the two, rising up from nowhere and everywhere at once. It sounded unlike a human voice, with an accent impossible to place and the sound of bells ringing behind it. The only thing they could be sure of was that the voice was male. Saya became stiff, leaping back from Macideus right after her first attack. She felt strange, like the voice was seeping into her skin. It resonated with her in a way she could not explain with words.
"You are safest at the Academy. Go back."
The tone held just a hint of annoyance, rising in volume. "Do you. . .?" The question was only half formed, Saya looking at Macideus for some confirmation that she had not lost it in the last three minutes. She shook her head violently, stepping forward to make another move when the wind became more violent, directing itself at the girl and shoving her back.
"NOW!"
The voice seemed to shake the very street. Saya was stunned. The wind had never gone against her before. It barely ever blew in her face. And, despite the rage hidden in the bodiless voice, the winds that pulled her away from Macideus were somehow. . .gentle. When it looked as if the girl was not ready to pounce on her professor, the air around them calmed until all signs that something had been amiss were gone. For some reason, Saya felt tears p***k at her eyes. Her arms fell to her side and she looked at the ground, unable to speak, and certainly unable to defy her professor anymore than she already had. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? Your jury? // What's my offense this time? // You're not a judge but if you're gonna judge me Well, sentence me toanother life
Well, you treat me just like another stranger // Well, it's nice to meet you, sir // I guess I'll go, I best be on my way out
This is the BEST THING that could've happened // Any longer and I wouldn't have made it It's not a war, no, it's not a rapture // I'm just a person but you can't take it
The same TRICKS that, that once fooled me // They won't get you anywhere // I'm not the same kid from your memory Well, now I can fend for myself

MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. Macideus was still in the middle of his charge when the winds suddenly kicked up buffeting him. He actually slid back a foot before Saya's attack followed through. He rose his glave to block the attack from her fan with it's mid-section and did so successfully, even so he was impressed that she managed such a clean strike. What he wasn't happy about was the damage it did to the shaft of his weapon. There was a rather nasty nick in the shaft now thanks to Saya's fan. The attack combined with the wind had caused him to slide back another foot, fortunately he managed to remain standing. Then a voice was heard on the winds and he knew what was going on."Sylph."He thought to himself as the voice spoke and told Saya to attend the academy. The girl refused at first as was expected and began to move for another attack when the winds kicked up and forced her back again and the word "now" was roared, and then it was gone. Macideus relaxed the girl looked devastated, and likely for good reason, another escape attempt foiled by a being she did not know. She didn't actually have anyone to blame the foiling on this time, it was just a disembodied voice. Macideus on the other hand suspected that the Sylph that had been there had some kind of relation or connection to Saya. He walked up to the pair and hoisted Tackeron onto his back and lifting up his weapon gain urged Saya on."Come on Saya let's get back. You have classes tomorrow."He had called her Saya, a rarity that only occured when he was speaking to someone he knew on a deep personal level or when he felt sadness or even sympathy for another in pain. It was a rare occasion and not likely to happen again any time soon. Even so he had no intention of letting them away with zero detention, the punishments were still to come, although he was likely to go a little softer considering today's events. He waited for Saya to start walking back, disheartened or not he needed to keep an eye on her.

((By all means go for it. Heck skip through the night while your at it, I don't think anything too interesting could happen. Can we make Macideus officially the mentor?))
