((Betty is, fairly predictably, casting her vote for Vic. XD Sorry, Vic.))
Betty folded her arms, taking a stubborn stance in the face of Vic's posturing... the alternative was backing down in fear, after all. It would be... unwise to show fear in present circumstances.
"Is that a threat, then?"
She didn't quite believe Vic to be the murderer. Way too loud. Not subtle enough. But heck, if given the choice between pointing a finger at some random student and someone who was showing violent tendencies of any sort... She'd go with the violent tendencies.

More accusations, more arguing. The finger of blame had shifted to so many different directions now that Breic was honestly getting lost trying to follow who was supposed to be the murderer now. And at such a loss, there was nothing left to do.
So he got up, stretching, and invited himself to sit by Salali. After all, girls needed comforting when they were upset, didn't they? And she was clearly -- well. Disturbed.
"Here, now. Don't worry about all this blame." He gestured at the others. "None of us knows who's to blame, that's pretty clear. Give it a minute, and they'll settle on someone else and forget all about you."

"We were all there, all here," Puck chortled at Haku - now this was getting amusing. He liked ruffling feathers! "That don't make ya special, no. Suspicious, maybe. Yer so careful with bone-mark, marking time. Clever, clever." He grinned broadly.

Kentarou rolled his eyes their bickering and half a** attempts of trying to resolve this logically was failing miserably. They were all just scared children that didn't know who the culprit was and was blaming whoever they wanted. No one here could say they don't have violent tendencies or malice thought. For some that is how they are raised and it was annoying him listening to them speak. He closed his book with a sigh he wouldn't be able to get any reading down for now.

((Although Betty is seriously pissing Vic off, Vic still thinks it was Salali. xD))
"Yer damned straight it is! The Captain don't let none of his crew take talk like that lying down!" The girl's hand tugged at the pommel of her sword, as though hoping that this time - maybe this time - it would tug free. But alas - the sword did not budge, and the effect of her swearing at her belt-line was not so menacing as she'd meant.
Still, that would hardly stop her from rambling on. Affixing Betty with an extended glare, the pirate swore roundly, "Anyway, if an honest pirate like me was gonna stabs some rack of bones in the back, I'd need a damned good cause for it! What sorta loot can you get off a skeleton, huh? You see that bloke haulin' treasure around? A pirate doesn't go around, killin' folks for fun without reason! That's whatcha call, a side perk." Vic snorted, crossing her arms. "If there ain't money involved, it ain't no business o'mine. Hence," and her finger went out to the side to stab furiously back in the direction of Salali, "why it's got to be Crazy over there. If there ain't something that somebody'd gain from it, then it's gotta be someone not trying to gain nothing at all. Get me?"

The train attendant's face appeared to gain a faint tinge of red as attention was placed upon him. “N-now see here!” He exclaimed, his attention on Puck. “It can't be the conductor for the sole fact that there is no conductor. The train... well. It doesn't stop until it reaches its destination, and the last person to try and go into the engine room...” he trailed off, his face losing some color before he shook his head. “As for my uniform, well, how else am I supposed to show off my legs?!” The reaper muttered something else – those near him would be able to catch the grumblings of an unhappy staff, namely the fact that today was his day off but noo, he missed the last stop and had to spend another shift on the train. At Balum's question, the reaper turned his attention to him. “That's the thing, we can't stop the train. I don't know why there aren't any Bogeymen on, unless there is one on and we don't know of it. Either way, it's just all of you along with us hosts. As to why it's not us, well, look!” He pointed down. At his heels. “Aside from showing off my ankles, I can't move a step without making noise. I can't move that fast. Besides,” his voice took on a louder tone, “ I think we've reached an agreement. Since THREE of you were accused, I think it's fair to say that all of you are g-”
The lights suddenly flickered out. When they flickered back on, Ahikiko discovered that paper cuts are very vicious – he was suddenly covered in long gashes.
Ahikiko is now in the Injured Cabin along with all the bones from the skeleton. II-Sinister Cadaver-II, please move to the other thread. You can hear what goes on in this thread, however you may not participate in voting. You may RP in the other thread, should you wish. After several minutes, the skirt-wearing host returned, shaken. “He'll be all right,” he announced, “But until then, no one may leave this cabin. The FEAR in the doors is now set for only my touch – I'll be escorting the accused to another cabin for interrogation, or the injured to the... injury cabin. I fear we do not have a doctor on board at this time, so at best...” he seemed at a loss. “There has to be someone behind all of this.” -------------------- OOC TIME:First off, you guys have been rocking this SO HARD! That “round” was a practice round to get all of you used to accusing each other – you've done well! My only request is that you please BOLD the name of the person you're accusing in the header. Otherwise your vote won't count next time! The next round WILL have someone going into the accused cabin. Watch out for the bezerker!

((Misdirecting her anger from one witch onto another - Vic's got Belladonna in her sights, now.))
Two down. Two. That said it if anything did - whoever was doing these attacks wasn't doing it for profit, wasn't doing it for treasure, wasn't even doing it out of some personal grudge against another student. They were just getting some sick kick out of it. And if they'd done it a second time, then that meant they weren't gonna stop until somebody put a stop to them. And on her grandfather's grave, Vic wasn't going to just sit around until it was her turn to go!
But that meant figuring out who it really was. She wasn't sure if it was Salali anymore - a crazy person cracking and going homicidal once was within the realm of possibility, sure, but twice? - but there was at least one person who'd already shown anger toward the ill-fated Ahikiko. Someone who Vic hadn't paid much attention to after her initial outburst, who could have easily slipped under the radar in order to commit a terrible crime.
Once things had calmed down in the cabin a bit, the ghost sidled up to Belladonna. "So," Vic dropped her voice in tone, but not in volume, "you was pretty bleeding angry with Mr. Misogynist before, wasn't ya? Y'gots something ye maybe wanna say 'bout it, Red?" Before we keelhaul you on the front of the train, was the implication of her tone.

( Lumi's lookin' wide-eyed and horrified at Haku. )
The outburst from the other ghost disturbed Lumi. So forthright, so violent...if it wasn't for those very traits, the girl might have suspected the seaworthy spirit herself. But she was sure that she'd heard the pirate ghost yelling before the lights went out... Thinking about it already made Lumidee shudder. Her hands never left her lips when the lights sputtered out - and she was so g-damned scared that she almost went out with them. When illumination returned to the cabin, revealing Akihiko all gashed up, her hands visibly shook in efforts to conceal the flighty breaths Lumidee couldn't help making.
"He was just there! Just there and talking-!" Her words were soft gasps aloud, pitching into silence; they grew even quieter as she turned to the necromancer from earlier. "Did you see him? Did you see?" The phantom's fingers lowered from her lips to clutch at each other at the base of her throat. "Paper cuts!" The words escaped her lips aghast. Surely she didn't need to spell it out any further! Paper cuts all over Akihiko, who had been confronting Haku, and that big Law book he was reading had been close to Haku's hand all this time... Oh, what else could it be? Ai, Raba, the little guy was a murderous madman!

Faint was ruffled, to say the least. I looked around with a wide gaze, unsure how to proceed. If they didn't figure this out soon, the attacks would start getting worse, he was afraid. They had to get this done while there was still a chance to overcome this thing! Fear-wrought impatience rattled him.
"Who was sitting closest to him?" He asked, trying to keep his voice calm and reasonable.

( Oliver is still uncertain, but has Haku and Kentarou in his sights. )
The monster had submersed him well enough with what conversations had surfaced that when the host spoke, he snapped in her...his direction looking wide-eyed with surprise.
All that had been said vanished as the train was left dark for a second time. Although it should have been his first instinct to stay seated, the moment the lights gave Oliver pushed away from the table and fell back in his seat, rolling across the floor before scrambling to his paws. It would be a cold day in HELL before the boy would let some attacker get a hold of him!
When everything was visible again he had managed to find his back legs and prop himself up, rising to his full height (of a mere 4 feet) to assess the damage. "Holy cow..." he murmured beneath his breath, letting his blue gaze bounce from seat to seat. He listened for a moment, catching the words Lumi churned out before bobbing his head some in agreement to...her slight implications. "There are only two of you with a book here, or at least that is all I can see." Rising onto his toes, Oliver scanned the hall for signs of literature while, as an aside, subconsciously waiting for someone to poke fun at his height.
"And the guy was rolled off with paper cuts...Unless one of you has a possessed book and it flew through the air only to land on HIM, specifically." He paused, glancing over to the side to eyeball Haku and then trail the room until he found Kentarou's seat as well. "I don't think he took the seconds of darkness to slice up his own face."

Salali slumped in her seat again at all of the arguing. She really wanted to just slide under the table where things were surely less noisey and scary. But she was joined by Breic then and he wasn't fighting with anyone so that was better. In the end she was still baffled both through his comment and that of Vic. "Me? What...?" Salali opened her mouth to ask when the lights went out.
When her sight returned she cried out at the sight of Akihiko. "Eeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaa!" She slapped her hands over her ears and shook her head back and forth. She whirled about to gaze intently at Breic as she seemed close to shaking to pieces. "I don't want to explode! No papercuts! Please!" She then let her head hang in her lap and mumbled to herself, "Looks like us so we can't see...can't tell if suspicious is suspicious anymore..."

(Balumf is getting a bit nervous now, and is currently accusing Haku)
Balumf continued to stare thoughtfully at Haku. She couldnt tell if he was strong or not. She was tempted to say Excuuuuse me. Its not like i can know your name simply by looking at you! But, that wasnt her style. She was taking another loud gulp of water, thinking about what the... gender androgynous attendant had said, when the lights went off again.
When they came back on, she looked at the severely paper-cut warlock, then back at haku. Her fin-crest rose and her skin cried for some water to swim in... this was serious. Could she be next?
Before, he could say it was "All Coincidence" but now... Hadn't he teamed up with that guy? Paper cuts... hadn't he had a book? A large one? That large book could have hit the skeleton too, now that she thought of it. Haku... Was looking damn suspicious. She points a scaly webbed claw at him. "You. Dog-b... Haku. I am thinking you did this. Why, is something I can't guess, but you are very suspicious now, more so than before. I want this stopped." Alibis were useless now. All that would help would be how he defended himself, and what his book looked like.

((Haku is starting to get suspicious of Jack.))
Oh for spook's sake, the inugami thought for the brief moment the light went out, shouldn't they check -
And then there went Mr. Interrogator himself. He sat wide-eyed and blinked only once while the attendant carted the guy off, and only seconds before the accusatory glances headed his way.
"Me? I was complying with his requests!" he said, ears tilting back in annoyance. "I gave you all my name, what I was doing, proof of what I was doing - what more do you want? Besides, this is a huge book, I'm a little on the small side if you haven't noticed, and paper rattles when you use it; the lights were barely off for more than a few seconds, longer than it'd take someone like me to get up, not nudge anyone, grab a page noisily, slice him up, and sit back down before anyone noticed. Plus last I checked, inugami weren't known for their speed. If you ask me . . ."
He darted looks at the cat demon. "Cuts look a lot like scratch marks."

{It must be Puck!}
"Haku?" He echoed, pausing for a second before giving the dog demon a quick nod, seemingly using it to gesture to himself as he spoke again, "Fauste... If its a test, it would explain a lot - like why there are no Bogeyman on the train, and why the case of the exploding skeleton had to happen now, under these circumstances." He frowned at the thought, lifting his hand to brush his bangs to the side of his face. His eyes then wandered over to the ghost - the suspiciously-happy Poltergeist - who had took the bone fragment from Haku; while Fauste personally hated the idea of suspecting such a wonderful undead creature, his smile was rather... Unnerving.
"Oh? And what are you so happy about?" He raised an eye brow, eying the bone fragment that was now in the Poltergeist's possession, "You seem to be delighted with this whole ordeal... Who can't say that you're not the one who started it?"
Then the lights went out again.
"The Warlock!" His eyes widened at the second victim; the lights were only gone for a short moment... There wasn't even enough time for him to react before they turned back on again! But papercuts? What a way to get knocked out! So the attacker must have more than one attack up his or her sleeve?
He then turned back to the ghost, his expression softened at how frightened she looked, "It was too dark - but no, I didn't see anything! Still, I don't think its Haku... When do dog demons have the ability to inflict papercuts like that? Although I guess... It does look like claws that did it. And that first victim? He imploded! Think about it!"
He then turned to the acid monster, "Like I said, it might be claws!"

((Perlie isn't quite ready to accuse anyone just yet.))
Okay, this was getting beyond freaky. She'd thought for one moment when the attendant had finally piped up that they might be out of danger; finally, this could be solved and they could all go on their merry way (well, continue on their merry way, in any case) and become the bestest of buddies at Amityville Academy.
Yeah, that didn't seem particularly likely now.
"W-well, if it was Haku or that other guy," the name escaped her for the moment, "surely there'd be some trace? I mean, the books.. it'd be kinda hard to cut someone with a whole book, right? You'd have like, missing pages or something. And bloodstains! There'd have to be bloodstains on the paper, wouldn't there?" Someone should probably check that, but Perlie sure wasn't going to be the one to do it. What if they were the attackers and she ended up getting maimed because of it?!
