Taiat tried very hard to think when he last ate. I don't remember. It must have been a while ago. Taiat nodded and got out the spring to follow Harvest. He shook himself off at the edge of the spring a way away from Harvest to get some of the water out of his fur. Now I remember why I don't like water.. It messes up the fur and makes you cold.

Harvest was pleased, nodding. Help with hunting would be helpful. "Thank you." She said, nodding at Taiat before padding off, the cold hitting her only when she flapped her wings to dry them off. She turned to Taiat, gesturing for him to go first.

Taiat proceeded out of in front of Harvest and shivered slightly. He went ahead to the front of the cave trying to remember the game in the area. There are plenty of deer if I remember right. I was too little to hunt them before. There should be plenty of rabbits too. There are also plenty of edible plants to if we can't find any deer or rabbits.

Harvest followed, turning her head as she heard a low shuffling. The vixen raised her ears, baring her teeth as the sound of movement within the cave alerted her. She didn't move for awhile, waiting for whatever the danger was to approach, but it never did. How...eerie...
The deava shook her head. Maybe she was going insane? She padded after Taiat, stretching her wings once she saw light of some sort.
((Bear appearance?))

Taiat saw the entrance to the tunnel ahead of him. Something was wrong. There was something large and furry blocking the way. Slowly the shape started to lumber toward the two foxes a low throaty growl radiated down the chamber toward them.
Too bulky to be a mountain cat. A bear? That's not good. Harvest we may want to start backtracking slowing and take one of the chambers off to the side. We have company ahead.

Harvest turned just as Taiat spoke, yelping. So, that was where the bear was?! The deava snarled under her breath, but took a step or two back. Wait, she had frickin flames on her legs and claws on her wings, why the hell was she backing up?! The vixen raised her head, flames bursting, larger and dangerously licking at the air. That is, until the bear growled, her eyes widening as she took yet another step back. Wait a second... when had she ever heard a deava taking a bear down before? Never. It was time to run, wasn't it?

Harvest you can't fly the cave isn't big enough, and if you try to use fire you will roast me and the bear. About 10 yards back on your left is a cave off branch. Taiat kept backing up. He didn't know if he could take on a bear in the narrow cave. Doubtful.

She knew she couldn't fly! But, augh, she wanted to fight the bear. She hated being forced to retreat. She nodded though, taking a few steps back. She pulled her ears behind her head as the bear advanced forward, snarling slowly. Oh no... it was looking right at Taiat, what would she do?!
((We should both control the bear for maximum fun!))

Taiat was worried when the beast growled at him. He was even more worried when the creature started to attack. It lunged at him! He tried to jump over the beast’s attack. What he failed to take into account was that the beast was now headed at Harvest. He cursed and tried to turn in time to help her knowing he wouldn’t make it in time.
(glancing blow? or scratch perhaps?)

(Cut. I like battle scars, lol. Bear is going after Harvest, right?))
Harvest snarled when the bear went after Taiat, about to try and step in when the bear suddenly went after her! The deava burst her flames outwards, but the bear didn't seem fazed. Her speed was off as she had been distracted, eyes glancing to make sure Taiat was unharmed and thus leaving herself open. She cried out as a claw cut into her shoulder, leaping away quickly enough to only receive a cut on her right shoulder. The female limped to the side, snarling once the bear seemed to focus on Taiat now.
"No!" She snapped out, attempting to shove Taiat to the side and hopefully try and get him to the tunnels so they could escape.

Taiat was pissed. That damn bear had hurt Harvest. Taiat could smell her delicate blood. The thought that the beast had harmed Harvest angered Taiat for reasons he couldn't even begin to fathom and he didn't care. He wanted to rip that thing apart piece by piece and roast it's carcass until nothing but cinders were left.
Taiat dived at the bear and bite down hard into the joint of the front leg. Judging by the sound the bear made Taiat had done some damage. He stayed clamped onto the bear and started shaking his head and rolling like an alligator. He intended to try and cripple the bear.

(You can roll 2 numbers if you want that bear to attack at random and see if your action succeeded, or sense the bear seemed focused on Taiat you can roll 1 and see if your action hit or missed. Up to you Yush.
side note. If the bear attacks Harvest you could put in that he threw off Taiat. I don't mind and it's plausible since point for point I think the bear has more physical strength. )

Harvest let out a shocked gasp as Taiat lunged at the bear, watching the bear stumble and try to dislodge the male from him. She couldn't run, she couldn't just leave Taiat. The vixen limped over, dodging a blow sent her way and lunging at the bear, her teeth digging into it's right knee and locking. She didn't know what to do, or if she could help Taiat, but dammit she was going to try!
