Suboshi blinked and picked peices of tile out of her hair. "The sky..?" she asked in a dazed manner. "looks more like the building..."

Elf came out and looked at the "sky". "Oh, so it is a building" She looked at Owle and licked her miracously okay cone, "Hullo! I'm Elf!" Then, Elf looked over at Az and smiled.

Owle blinked at the sudden introduction, and looked at the strange woman's ears. She couldn't really see them under the pilot's hat...well, she'd just take the woman's word that she was an elf, then. "Um....okay. I'm Owle, a shifter. At least, I think I am."
She turned her attention back to the winged man, then, if the elf woman had nothing more to say.

"Eh, Elf? How did you manage to keep your ice cream cone all...." she groped for a suitable word, "...clean?" she finished lamely, glancing breifly at the winged man that just fell off of the roof.

Elf's smile broadened, with green ice cream on her lips, "I am magical!" she giggled, "and I protected it from falling sk... I mean debris."
She looked over to Owle and bowed, "Nice to meetcha Owle, Miss Shapeshifter. I am actually human, boring I know, Elf is just my nickname and the shortened version of my callsign"
Finally, Elf finished the last of her cone and licked her fingertips clean.

"Magical?" An eyebrow raised. "How so? ...If you dont mind me asking." she said, watching Elf devour the remnants of the ice cream cone.

Elf looked up at Subo, a little confused at being taken so literal. She looked around, patting herself down as if looking for someone, and finally pulled out a bottle of cream soda. "Well, like magic tricks, I guess." With a flick of her wrist, the bottle disappeared. She did a backflip in the air, flipping the bottle that appeared at her feet back into her hands.

Subo's mouth formed into an 'O' when she saw the magic trick. "Ooooh, I can do something like that, not really magical though.." she said, rummaging around him her pocket before pulling out her wallet. She opened the wallet up and began fishing around in it as if looking for something. Masking a face, she plunged her hand deeper into the wallet untill her whole arm was completly submerged in the wallet. "Infinite space, you see." She explained, pulling her arm out. "You put it inside of itself. A bit tricky to do." she said, shoving the wallet back in her pocket.

It must have been broken, no doubt about it. The demon growled softly and shifted gingerly, extracting his stiff tail from beneath his rear. Moving, he untied the thin sheet from around his neck and removed it, revealing a small boy with crisp ivory hair, and eyes a deep and penetrating blue; small, mottled wings rested upon his back. First glance it was easy to tell that the two weren't blood relatives, wings or not. A dark skinned, red headed demon and a white haired, pale hued angel.
Definately no relation.
During the nursing of his aches, he was slow to notice Owle approach. However, his fluted ears twitched an he looked up, brows rising over his golden eyes. He gave a lop-sided grin at the woman and accepted her hand, pulling himself to his feet and stretching his tail.
"Seems like it...I need a new depth perception," his brows furrowed as he turned to regard the building. He let go of the woman's hand slowly and smiled coyly as he turned back.
"I'm Azruael," he nodded, eyes flickering towards the others and blinking curiously at their antics. So many women and he wasn't being flirtatious; hey, he was feeling bombed. Feeling a tug upon his pants, he cast his cat-like eyes downward to meet the boy he had brought, who stared up at him meekly - questioningly.
"Mmm." He bent slightly and grabbed the boy around the waist - a bit rougher than he intended - and placed him upon his shoulder; the child shifted and leaned against one of his folded, black wings, a stark contrast in color.
"This is Alexei..." he said rather lamely, one brow dipping.

"Oh..." Owle said to Elf. She missed the magic trick entirely...she was far too distracted by the little boy Azruael carried. Such beautiful eyes...and those wings, like her own and the child's...
"Pleased to meet you, Alexei." Owle grinned, bowing a little to the boy. "And you, too, Azruael. I'm Owle, in case you didn't hear." She fished around for something else to say, and wound up introducing the others. "This is Elf, and this is Sarielle...I haven't caught anyone else's name yet, though."
She smiled at him and continued. "Well, it's a lot harder flying with a burden on your back...well, not harder, different. It can throw you off balance, especially when you're going up or coming down...try to take landings slowly when you have Alexei with you."

Subo blinked and stared at the small child. He looked...familiar somehow. Shaking her head slightly to rid herself of the feeling of deja-vu, she smiled and waved slightly. "I'm Subo," she said, shoving the memories of a rainy night spent under a rock to the back of her mind. "Nice to meetcha."

Elf seemed to be the only one who saw no relation to the boy Alexei. She didn't feel she had a good enough view and, after putting the bottle away, she started hopping up and down to try and get a view of the boy on the demon's shoulder, "Oh wow! He's so cuuuuute!"
Her attention later went to the discussion of flying, and her ears (which were round) seemed to perk up. She had no experience in self flying, but she knew a bit about the theories and concepts. "Don't worry, Alexei," she winked up at the herald, showing she really did follow conversations, "pretty soon your wings will be big enough to carry your own weight, and you can fly beside him instead of on..."

The child seemed to shy away from the attention, folding in meekly and attempting to hide behind Azruael's head. The method didn't work, however, seeing as he was situated on his shoulder and any other movement would cause him to topple over backwards. He began to tediously loosen a strand of hair from the clip that held the demon's mane, and held it up in front of him, as though hiding.
This method was null and void as well.
"It's a pleasure," he nodded, smile ghosting over his lips. "Alexei hasn't been around much of anyone save for myself and a friend of mine, so you'll have to excuse his shyness."
"I haven't flown a lot since," he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Nevermind. I just haven't relied on my wings as much lately as I should have. Burden or not, I'm a competant flier..." One wing stretched outward as if to imply it was indeed strong, inky black feathers glittering blue. It refolded to cup around the Herald, ensuring his safety so he wouldn't fall.
Alexei allowed his eyes to stray over to Elf, a curious look passing over his face as he was addressed. He remained silent, though his own feathered appendages twitched with anticipation. Fly? Like the man he sat upon? If one looked close enough, they would see a faint smile pass over his face.

[ sorry for the akward delay Sari XD ]
Shayna smiled and let go of Taka. "You guessed right!!!" Shayna let out a giggle. She turned to see Eamane and smiled "Hi 'mane!" Shayna wrapped her arms around the elf and nodded her head in the direction that Blood was. "Blood's here."
She turned back to Taka. "Do you want to come with me to get some ice cream?" Shayna dug into her pocket and pulled out some money.

((Hehe, s'okay Blood xD))
Taka saw the hug Shayna bestowed on Ea, and raised eyebrows in surprise. "So you know Eamane too, Shayna? Sari says Ea's the one who gave me Bunnie here." Remembering the stuffed animal once more, she picked it up by its ear and gave it another affectionate squeeze.
Sari, on the other hand, had tuned out most of what happened since the pieces of roof had come skittering down upon them, and a black-winged man - no angel, she knew with certainty - had landed in their midst.
Strangely, it was not he she focused on, but on the small child he had with him. A young boy, white haired, and those eyes! Unfathomable depths were in them. Just like Taka had been...
But what was HE doing with such a child?
"Your son?" she asked at last, nodding to him, and completely disregarding the fact that perhaps she was not following the conversation logically. The boy could not be this man's son, she knew; but she wanted to hear his account.
