Nightshade voice announced on all X-Comms, "It might work. These don't have the regenerative program of the original, but I don't know about their adaptive capabilties. They are weak to elemental attacks."

After a few moments of odd persistence, the barely clothed yellow skinned man reluctantly got his wish.
"Alright..." Star replied with a huff. "I'll drop you off first, that way we can all go about our business." With that she mentally snatched the not from the man's gloved hand and skimmed over the directions on it. Taking a small bit of amusement in the paw prints and fish skeletons adorning the paper.
A second later, the four teenagers and the over enthusiastic man were gone.

'Batgirl' sped out of the ramp from the Batcave, and soon was speeding toward Gotham City Jinx was lost in thought:
Star, did you and the other face the Sentinels? Is that why none of you are answering your comms? Please, hang on. I'm comin. I'm scared as hell, but I'm comin. Please, whatever god is up there, please let me be on time...

In the distance, Jinx could see explosions appear just over the city skyline, There's where the action is. Here goes nothing...

Feeling like he'd been fried to a crisp, Spidey web-zipped through the lower buildings surrounding Gotham proper, trying to figure out if anything had actually gotten burned. In the distance, explosions flared, his spider-sense giving a painful twinge every time one went off. But... there was something closer...
A very distant, almost inaudible scream made his metaphorical ears p***k up. It was... familiar. "Kitty?!" There was no response, but his spider-sense directed him into one of the buildings... Unnerved, and taking pains to remain silent while still moving as fast as he could, he slipped in through one of the windows.

"Are you still not talking to me?" Vice called out as he leaned against the corner of a building next to a dark alley.
"Yes." Gossamer's voice spat from somewhere within the alley.
Vice sighed and shifted a bit. "Seriously, I TRIED looking for her, I TRIED to get her to help me lo-"
"I don't NEED HER help." Gossamer hissed.
"I know, ba-"
"Don't call me babe, or anything even close to a pet name. I'm still not talking to you!" she hissed.
Vice moved a hand to wipe the corners of his mouth, trying to hide a smile that cracked across his face. "I know you're not talking to me. And I'm sorry. You don't need her help, but I did. And it was like pulling teeth. I don't know who that other guy was, but she practically rolled out the welcome mat for him."
About that time, Gossamer emerged from the alley wearing a...slightly different outfit. Still the same gray color, but it wasn't as loose and bulky on her as the other thing was. Nor did it have all of the straps like the other. Nothing hanging off of her that could get caught on anything or grabbed. The armor she usually wore was still visible under the outfit in a few places, except for the sleeves of course. A gun was strapped to her leg, a belt with a few pouches hung around her waist, and a slim sheathed dagger hung from it.
Her eyes went directly to his, and it was clear that she was angry.
Though...it didn't seem like she was nearly as mad at HIM as she tried to pass off. She was just...mad.
Understandable though. Considering quite a few things.
Vice gave her a small, understanding grin. "Alright, I know you're not talking to me and all, but how do we - erm, I make this right then?"
Gossamer just stared at him for a long moment. "Let's just go." she spat. "Once Rosie's safe, we'll see where things go from there." she replied, then started forward, only to stop abruptly and whirl back towards him. As if she had thought twice about something. "And when I say that, I don't mean us. I mean...where everything goes after that."
"Of course, I won't bring it up again." Vice replied, his smile growing.
Gossamer looked at him another beat, then whirled around and stormed off. Time to find a bike or something. No, then Vice would have to be right there near her. A taxi then? No. Ergh.
Vice did his best to hold back a chuckle and followed after her. She was so cute when she was angry.

In a small burst of blue and purple light, a slim figure in blue armor appeared on one of the many rooftops near the great city. Cantata stood and dusted herself off, letting her lavender gaze survey the area around her. Not quite satisfied with...whatever it was she was looking for, she sat down on the rooftop and closed her eyes. It would be easier for her to find X when she was on Earth. She just needed to concentrate now...and try to avoid getting caught.

Gossamer & Vice She wanted to keep going. She HAD to keep going. She needed to find Rosie and make sure she was alright, wether that witch said that she was find or not. She HAD to know for herself. She wouldn't feel relaxed until she KNEW that Rosie was fine. Unfortunately...her body had simply had enough. Not only had she been scaling rooftops for literally hours on end, she hadn't EATEN anything since that little 'fun hour' with Shadow Spider. Her body was completely running on empty, and it was letting her know it. With a frustrated growl, she kicked a large rooftop vent before collapsing onto it, burrying her head in her hands and her elbows into her knees. Vice, who was still following her at a safe distance, paused on the rooftop and stared at her. After a moment, he very cautiously approached her. He still couldn't tell if she was mad at him, and he didn't want to find out if she was. "Goss? Are you alright, hon?" The only response he recieved was a growl. He couldn't tell if it was actually her...or her stomach? Making sure that his phasing ability was on and working, he moved up beside her and bent down to try and look at her face through the hair that had fallen out of place and now curtained her face. "If you need to stop, I'll scout ahead for a bit untill you're ready to give it a go again." He got the same growl. This time he could tell for certain that it was her stomach. Smiling, he straightened up again and looked around at the other buildings. "Tell you what...you wait up here and rest for a bit. I'll bring back whatever I can find for dinner, then scout the area a bit while you work up some more energy. Sound good?" "....nnnh." "I'll take that as a 'yes', then." he said with a small smirk. With that, Vice phased out of sight from the rooftop, leaving Gossamer to herself for a short time.

ENTER from ????, Metropolis, & Museum After a while of mentally searching, Cantata growled and kicked the corner of the roof she was standing on. She couldn’t find X. Anywhere! He wasn’t in his realm, but someone else was. If she went there then she was dead. As in if the Spectre didn’t do it himself, Terragon would for pulling such a stupid stunt. And, as if on cue, a man in a black and white outfit appeared next to her on the rooftop. Next to Terragon was a rather anatomically wondrous skeleton with a plume and wheel under his long blue skirt. Terragon looked both frustrated and nervous. Exo looked just as happy as could be. Cantata just blinked at the two. “…what…what are you two doing here?” ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Still nothing. Riku continued to search, but there was still no sign of anyone he was looking for. No Kenji. No Rapture. No Alex. He had stopped a few times to take care of stupid thugs and purse snatchers as he came across them, but so far all of this searching was seeming to be nothing more than a waste of time. He was growing frustrated and agitated. After a while, he spotted a bit of movement in the corner of an alley with a broken streetlight. Assuming it was just another thug, or hopefully something challenging, Chaos swung off of his rooftop perch and into the dark alley.

She patted his side to let hom know he could let her off here if he wanted.

Tim slowed the Redbird to a stop and looked back to Catgirl. He had the strangest expression on his face... this was all news to him.
"Avengers...? ....."
This was a lot. How much could happen in a few days? Apparently more than Robin could imagine.

Crystal looked at him and blinked. ''You know who they are, I've seen you up on the roof tops reading comics before...''
She dismounted from the bike and pressed a button on her watch and before long a black, catlike designed motorcycle came from around the corner and slowed to a halt in front of them.
Catgirl put hee helmet on, wich had slots in the top of it where her cat ears fit into mesh and fabric covers spevcially designed for her.

Robin shook his head, not remembering any of this... He watched Catgirl mount her own motorcycle and looked off to the path through the forest. Could Gotham really have changed so much...?
((yeah, Tim's got a new role player. ^_^ I don't know what Pixie did as Robin, so he has amnesia.))
