"You won't have to block them forever, just long enough for us to be able to clear the area and not be hit by that huge arrow. All right lets go. Stay directly behind me. Go...... NOW!" Ito climbed over the slab and began spinning his new weapon, the double edge kunai sword..... he is still working on a name. With Ito spinning his weapon any object thrown to the front of him could be deflected, unless it was a huge object like that arrow going through the rock. Ito began making his way to the opponents spinning his weapon to protect himself and his team.

From the distance she was away, Akeru couldn't tell that the men weren't trying to hill her 'teammates'. To her, it looked like they were in trouble. She just sat there watching as the enemys were doing her work for her.

"Those guys look a lot stronger than a few new genin. It probably won't be long now until they're all dead..."

As Akeru said that, she slowly stopped snaking on hr food and let it register. She was really going to let new genin, ones that were depending on her, die? They hadn't done anything to her, her anger was with Suna itself. Actually, she didn't even know what she was really angry at. All she knew was that she wanted out and that wasn't possible. But letting them suffer for it...it wasn't right, was it?

"...*sigh*...As the chunin here...its my...job to help them... And if I don't do my job...kazekage-sama will punish me for it. My plan might work, but...I can't sacrifice my allies for it."

Akeru may have come to the realization that the people that were her teammates in this mission weren't her enemies, but the realization didn't improve her mood at all. She relized she was no killer, it wasn't in her to kill off her group and escape. But because of it, she was trapped for good in her prison called Sunagakure. She lowered her head as she made a few hand seals, gathering her chakra for a technique.

As the two men moved forward to attack, they would see a kunai with an explosive note land near their feet. They weren't terribly close, and it wouldn't be difficult for anyone to get out of the way of the blast, but the surprising thing would be the fact that it didn't come from any of the genin. If they looked to the side, they would see the girl, her blonde hair being tossed in the wind, facing towards them with a kunai in hand. She didn't say a word and she had an empty look in her eyes, but they would be able to tell from the headband that she was another Suna ninja. They wouldn't think that she was an illusion, and the real Akeru was a distance away, or so Akeru hoped. Though it didn't really matter if they did find her and kill her, it wasn't like she was a person who would be missed...

Timebomb

"All right come on then, lets dance." As Ito said this a kunai came flying by and distracted the men for a minute, Ito stepped back decided to try his shuriken manipulation again against the small man coming towards him. Before Ito threw the shuriken, he looked at Akeru, "Thanks" Ito said to her. Then Ito used his technique.

Akeru probably would have been interested in the offer, had she actually heard it. But since the real Akeru was out of audible range, the illusory version seemed to not even regard what they had said. The true Akeru took some senbon and more kunai into her hands, ready to throw them and move her illusory clone to match, so that they would believe she she was really attacking.

Akeru ran up to the one that was speaking to her, kunai in hand and giving every indication that she was prepared to attack. Just as she got close, the two explosive notes from before went off, becoming a distraction that Akeru hoped would keep the enemy from seeing the truth behind her attack.

As the explosion hit the senbon that was flying at the man, the illusory Akeru ran forward and slashed with her kunai. If the man was hit by the senbon, it would cause a thin cut on his arm. Not enough to do any kind of real damage, but enough to make it seem like the illusory Akeru actually attacked him. She ran past him after the attack, sliding to a stop on the other side.

Timebomb

As the "battle" was just about to really get started there was a sort of whistle that came from underneath the Leader's feet. The three men seemed to react happily to the sound and immediately dodged the attacks by hopping back onto the top of the statue. "Well, dat whistle means its our lunchbreak! 'Ould you like to join us? Lady Seki has been giving us a lot of extra sandwiches lately, and we have a hard time finishing them off between the three of us." The men's tone and facial expressions were similar to that you would hear from a group of friends at a pub, as if they didn't have a care in the world and weren't even fighting the younger people.

The leader of the three men looked at Akeru's clone with a bit of bafflement, "Wha' doya mean? I was under the impression we were sparring, I don't know how you take spars but we believe in respecting your opponent and treating them as you would like to be treated."

The larger man began rummaging through his pack while he began walking towards Kazu, the person he had been targeting earlier, however, his posture was much different than before; more of a leisure and calm feel to it. As he was half way to Kazu the man found exactly what he was looking for in his pack; a rather large brown paper bag that seemed to be full of some equally large object. The man was a mere foot from the sand ninja as he pulled out what looked like a large sandwich from the brown paper bag and even with it cut in half it still was considered enough to feed three men with more to spare afterwards. "'Ere ya go." The large man said in a gentle raspy voice as he held one half of the massive sandwich to Kazu waiting for the boy to take it so he himself could begin eating the other half.

Within seconds all three men had sorts of sandwiches in their hands, offering it to each of the boys in the sand group while the puppet seemingly offered Akeru's clone a rather familiar sandwich. She would easily recognize it as the exact kind she herself made on a previous mission.

Kazu had been baffled when the men out of nowhere stopped fighting. He had went pure and utter silent when they offered everyone sandwiches. "...How do we know they're not poisoned..." was the first thing Kazu said. He didn't even know why he said it but that was the first thought that popped into his head. "Besides we're enemies as Akeru said... Why aren't you fighting..."
