Ara snorted. "Earthquakes, floods, volcanos. The descrution of the world. A parent's dream, their children accomplishing something important in history."
She looked down at where Odi's body was pressed against hers. "I do hope they get your patterns rather than mine." Ara didn't hate her own patterns, she just liked Odi's better.
((I don't know all the details, but apparently it was still too similar to some of the other tribes. So yea, it's probably closed for good. I don't know if Yush plans to remake it into something else or not. I'm marking my foxes as being tribeless again for now.))

"I could live with that." He said smiling at Ara. She seemed a little moody today, maybe it was because of what they talked about earlier?
"My pattern? I hope not, it's almost exactly like my Dad's..." He drifted off for a moment as a glare crossed his face for a moment then eased away. "I prefer they get yours, a girl with your stars pattern and a few colored like mine and I'll have to beat up a lot of suitors."

Ara chuckled. "Though perhaps in privacy. If they come out anything like either of us they won't take too well to their mates being roughed up. I know I would stremuously object if my parents gave you a hard time!" She leaned over and affectionly licked her mate's cheek.

The comment about privacy made Odi stiffle a laugh. If it was his choice he would maul the males in front of each other. Just to make a point, "That's for sure. I know Mom wouldn't but Odin, I'd just have one more reason to kill him."

"Hmmm, and Rei's already approved. Or at least I hope, she seemed to like me." Ara's head flopped down. The sunlight that dappled the ground through the trees was warm without being too warm. It was quite comfortable, perfect napping weather.
"We're all talk now though. Let's just wait until they get here." She chuckled, imagining if they had any daughters that they'd have their pappa hopelessly wrapped around their little paws.

Odi gave a slight nod of his head. His mother would approve of anything that would make him happy. Heck, he could of married a adder and she approve.
"I can't wait though! Maybe the shaman can help out...I rather not deal with that female." He said moving his head to rest on her neck. This day felt so good.

Ara snorted, amused. "Ask the shamen? I'm not infertile, these things just take their time. Enjoy this time now, you'll miss the quiet by the time we're great-great grandparents."

"I'm not saying you are love!" He said a embarassed frown on his face at realizing his mistake. "Just that...maybe she could help out in a sense."
"Who says I want quiet time? If I wanted quiet I wouldn't of found a life mate who scares me just by taking a bath in the river." He smirked at the idea of trying to take the bath himself...he'll stick to the shallow end just covering his paws.

"Yes, and I thank goodness for rain. Otherwise you wouldn't go anywhere near water," Ara said, laughing a little at the look on her mate's face.
"Scares are only part of it. There's also running around to keep up with them and having to deal with boundless energy when all you want to do is take a nap," the red and white vixen responded, pretending to shudder at the thought.

A smile crossed Odi lips as he hid from his mate the fact he actaully hated going in it. If he wasn't a fox he would of probably been born a badgar since they lacked cleanliness. "Of course not my dear."
"Well, I can semi keep up with you so I think I can deal with a ball of fluffy energy. Hey maybe even two!" The shudder just widen his smile as he moved back close to her. "There's two of us so we can take turns napping."

Ara snorted, but leaned closer against Odi. "Now that you said that, just watch. We're gonna end up having an unbelievably large litter, and I will be more than happy to let all the children tire themselves out." She playfully flopped her head back against his shoulder, indicating that she included him with the "children".

"If we do then Mom will be extra happy." The warm fur against his own made him let out a content sigh. Maybe it was a good idea to enjoy these little moments. "We'll, I guess I'll just get tired out with them."

Ara couldn't hold back a smile, both in contentment at the moment and the mental picture of Odi, fierce and violent Odi, chasing around kits until he had to flop over in exhaustion. She was sure both she and Rei would get a kick out of it.
((When breedings open I might have to have you enter this couple. I've got several couples I wanna enter, sucks being only able to put in two entries >.< Wouldn't want these two to get left behind.))

Odi caught sight of the smile with childish feelings. He could only guess what she was imagining, probably something that would make him glare. "I hope that a smile at what I said and not what your thinking."
