Seeing as her pokemon had not arrived yet, Faleen wasn't in any sort of hurry. calmly taking her keys out she unlocked the vehicle to let Aila get in if she wanted to, before she moved to open up the back door, leaning in to dig around the supplies there.
"Here you go" she spoke to get the other girl's attention, walking back over to the front, reaching over to hand the potion to her. "That should help"
the sound of quick, padded footfalls drew her attention, glancing over she saw the two dark types streaking back toward the van. Faleen smiled a little and gesture both of them to the open side door of the van. With out hesitating they jumped in, Faleen poking her head in after them "Good boys" she told them, closing the door and climbing into the drivers side to start the car. "if Shuppet gets annoying let me know, I can return him" she told the tranee, noticing her Shuppet hovering behind the girls head rest curiously.

Aila said her thanks in return for the potion as she climbed into the car and fastened herself into the seat. She turned to look at Shuppet at mention of him. "He is no trouble," she assured, then glanced between the healing spray bottle and the pokeball in her hands. With a thought equating to a mental shrug, she pressed the release switch, and the resulting light found an exhausted Misdreavus in her lap. A female, she decided, with a subtly different coloration in her eyes and blush-like markings on her cheeks. She was a lovely thing with all capacity to be graceful and proper, much as Fleur had never been able to accomplish. A few spritzes from the potion and the ghost flickered back to life, shrieking loudly in something akin to distress.
Aila clamped her hands over her ears, brow furrowed, in response to the close and sudden shout. It seemed the species name for Misdreavus was well-deserved. "Hush," she commanded with a stern glare. "This is no way to behave. Not before coworkers, not before comrades, not before anyone."

Faleen was in the process of backing the van up out of the bushes, until there was a loud shrike that filled the entire fan, Faleen gave a startled yelp, slamming on the break while both hands abandoned the wheel to cover both her ears.
In the back, her pokemon stirred, growling in annoyance and making movements to the front. Faleen threw a hand out, between hers and Aila's seat in a gesture for them to stop. "This is her pokemon, let her handle it" she told them, causing them to back down.
Shuppet, who had ducked further behind the seat at the shrieking, was starting to drift back up to peek over the side, blinking his large eyes.
Faleen watched Aila as she handled her pokemon, scolding her and firmly telling her what was not appropriate, good for her. putting the van back into gear, she continued to drive, back toward the desert.

"Dreeea..." How dare that insolent human scold her? Who did she think she was, invading her home, attacking her, stuffing her into some little contraption, then calling her out again and yelling at her, of all things, for her completely justified retaliation? The Misdreavus huffed and turned away; had she arms, they would be indignantly folded across her tiny chest.
Aila sighed, lowering her hands into her lap. The sudden braking, and the jerking of the car that accompanied it, had caught her almost as off-guard as her pokemon's screeching. Here's to an uneventful returning trip, she thought idly. She inclined herself towards the Misdreavus slowly, as if the ghost were a child whom sudden movements would startle. "You should conduct yourself with a degree of grace," she admonished. "Your form is lovely, like a girl in dance. You mustn't waste your innate qualities."
The screech pokemon bristled slightly at the compliment but otherwise made no outward signs of acknowledging her human's words.

Faleen let Aila handle it, not intruding on her first interaction with her pokemon, but she listened quietly, interested in how she handled it. Her Pokemon however, amused with the Misdreavus behavior didn't stay in the back. Umbreon had taken up his seat between Faleen's and Aila's but he payed no mind to the ghost type, eyes strait ahead. the voice that drifted from the back, the dark eyes of the Absol peering at Misdreavus from where he sat by the window. "Ab sol, sol Absol" he chimed in, in a low, mellow voice

"Dreavus, dreeeaa," she replied, Perhaps I would rather die than blindly follow a fool, bound in eternal servitude. She turned from the Absol with a huff. What pokemon could honestly say that they were happy to be a slave, a tool to be used and disposed of at its owner's whims? There was no grace nor honor in such captivity, nor any hope of escape.
Aila observed the incoherent conversation with a disproving frown. It certainly did not appear to be friendly chatter, at least on the part of the Misdreavus.

Absol just shrugged one of his shoulders, blinking slowly and looking back out the window, She wasn't seeing the bigger picture, but he didn't care.
It was Umbreon that had his dark gaze on her now, large red eyes locked on her. "breon, Um, Umbreon..."
His team mates were being so cold to her, after being caught and having her life changed, he knew she must probably be very upset. so Shuppet took a much kinder approach he pointed out, peering around from the back of the chair with a small smile.
Faleen could hear her pokemon making noises, she knew they were talking to Aila's new pokemon, "I wonder what they're saying" she said quietly, almost to herself, but loud enough for Aila to hear.

The Misdreavus glared at Umbreon, "Misdrea." I will not. Her tone was cold, almost venomous. She had been living in a single location all her life and was forcibly removed from that location, taken into captivity against her will by some unknown human, and she was meant to get to used to it? the ghost pokemon replied to her kin, She ignored the fact that she was still quite young, of course.
"Certainly they are talkative," Aila said in a similar murmur that could be interpreted either as a reply or an offhanded observation. Something within her wished that the Misdreavus was in the midst of befriending Faleen's companions, but something about the atmosphere of the vehicle told her otherwise.

Umbreon looked unimpressed, eyes narrowing softly, a look of distant and disgust at the lower being he scoffed under his breath before removing his gaze from her completely.
Shuppet looked from Umbreon to Absol, his features taking on a nervous look, even though he tried to smile back at Misdreavus, floating to the side to further conceal himself behind the seat. he hoped his Team mates would be nicer, he knew it wasn't going to happen.
Her pokemon were not as courteous about there dislike for the type chose as Faleen was, and just by the sounds they were making, she could tell they were not bring friendly. "Boys, rest of the trip in silence please" she instructed them, glancing at Absol through her rear view mirror. "we'll be back soon, don't need pokemon riling one another up at such a late hour."
the aria was becoming familiar desert again, taking a more cautious eye to driving. sand was not the safest of surfaces to be speeding on. behind them, the wind took care of any tracks they were leaving in the soft ground.

the Misdreavus countered, flicking her head to a side as if to turn up her nose in a scoff.
Even if the words were incomprehensible, the body language was enough for anyone to understand the nature of the conversation, and Aila supplemented Faleen's entreaty with her own, "Come away from there, Revenant. If you cannot speak without quarreling, it is better to say nothing at all."
"Drea?" the Misdreavus tilted her head in slight confusion. Revenant, was it? Was that how she was to be addressed?
Aila noted the ghost's perplexed expression and elaborated, "Revenant is a word in my mother's tongue that equates to returned spirit. In folklore, the term identifies a visible specter returned from the dead to torment the living." It seemed appropriate, considering how the pokemon had endeavored to frighten the two young women.

If Umbreon even heard her comment he made no reaction to it, simply sitting quietly next to his master.
Faleen looked over when Aila used a word not usually heard in every day conversation at HQ. And from what she could gather, it gave a hint as to the girl's origins. Faleen already knew she wasn't from around here, not with speech like that.
"We're almost there Aila" She told the girl, with one glance down to the GPS.

A muted sigh indicated Aila's relief that the pokemon's spat had come to an end, even if not peaceably. She beckoned Revenant closer to her side in hopes of preventing any other arguments during the remainder of the ride.
She nodded in acknowledgment at Faleen's estimate. Tonight, she predicted, Aila was bound to sleep quite soundly. Hopefully her new companion would not act against that...

Lowering one of her hands from the wheel to distractedly stroke Umbreon's head, not once taking her eyes off of the desert ahead. It was starting to really get late, even Faleen was starting to feel the fatigues of the busy day catching up with her, so when she pulled up closer to the HQ, she gave a soft sigh.
"Well, you got something out of that trip" she said, once pulled into the bright garage and parked the jeep. "Hoping your new addition works out well for you"

The excursion had been a welcome departure from mundanity, but Aila was glad to see the silhouette of the headquarters building as it drew ever closer.
"Indeed," she agreed, "and thank you." The Misdreavus was bound to be trouble, but hopefully the fact that she had caught it in the first place said something for her abilities as a trainer. She undid the buckles that secured her to the seat and pushed open the jeep's door, bidding Revenant follow her. She turned and curtsied, "You have my gratitude, both for your invitation on the excursion and for your assistance in the matters that arose throughout." A reserved smile crossed her lips - a silent farewell - and she took a few steps in withdrawal towards the stairs that would bring her to the trainee dorms.

Pulling out the pokeballs on her thigh as she unbuckled and slipped out of the vehicle herself, she returned her pokemon to them, putting them back on the strap. Faleen then turned her attention toward Aila, offering her a small, polite smile. "Good luck with your training, good night"
It had been fun to be able to go out with another Rocket, this girl was certain interesting. Night it was though, and Faleen was going to be up early the next morning, so she took her leave as well.
